Just after the ceremony, Nasu went back to the throne room where he sit and waited. As they finished the celebrations, he ordered Natsu to be taken home. The kid complained a lot, but a brutal roar from Nasu was enough to make him swallow his tears and obey. "This brat… He is too soft…” and he was already noticing the genes of his parents, more specifically his father placing their influence on his heir and it concerned him to no end. If the kid grew to become a pacifist that would be a real pain and shame, and worse, if he grew up to be like most of his siblings, Nasu would most definitely flip. The annoyance made him heavily hammer his fingers on the arm of the throne and he snorted angrily.
There was just one thing that made him relax whenever he got into this type of mood: training. And as a present of fate, he had indeed promised Kinoko to train her into the soy school arts and she was developing at a good pace, to the point it did seem wise to teach her the next level of the techniques. ”And with that technique, she will be able to fight against the influence of that bitch.” he thought to himself, cracking a subtle smile. Then, as he had summoned, Laufey entered the throne room and bowed to his King. ”King Nasu, you requested my presence?” the kold demon asked with a neutral tone.
”I did. Have you made progress?” he asked staring at his slave. Laufey raised his head to face Nasu and smirked. ”I did, milord. She has indeed a device inside her body that may be troublesome. I can definitely take it out, but shall her mind fail… Well… The risk is too much.” he admitted and Nasu nodded. ”Very good. Go back to your lab and prepare for the surgery. You will be doing the procedure later today. On your way out, inform the Queen I’m requesting her presence here. We ought to train.” and with those words, Laufey left, heading towards Kinoko’s location.

She wasn't sure why, but ever since the Coronation Kinoko was getting constant headaches and they annoyed the hell out of her... They weren't always extremely intense but, when they were it had become difficult for her to train at all... She'd never felt anything like it before, and thought maybe it was just a side effect of her pushing herself in her Super Saiyan forms. It was extremely taxing on the body and mind...
Then there was the issue of keeping her light side in check... it was getting harder and harder to stay in control of her whenever Natsu was around... She felt such a strange kind of love for that kid that her darkness was all but swept away when he was around. She was his mother first before she was a warrior, and her lighter side dealt with that much better... though, the more freedom she got, the more these headaches pestered her.
Today was just such an occasion where her head hurt pretty badly, though not enough to stop her. She was walking through the palace with Natsu trailing along behind her, holding her tail as he silently followed, looking this way and that and just took everything in and babbling along at no one or nothing in particular. It would have been quite the adorable sight to behold if Kinoko didn't give everyone the death glare as they went by, not wanting to be interrupted.
So whenever Laufey finally found her, telling her that Nasu wanted to see her, her snarl lessened as she rolled her eyes at the summons. He was her mate... why was he constantly calling on her like she was just another one of his soldiers... sending slaves to 'fetch' her was starting to get to her. As she passed the Kold Demon though she shook her head, pushing down her frustrations as she made her way towards the throne room.
There, once more, Nasu was strumming away at the arm of his throne looking just as irritated as she felt. She raised an eyebrow at this as she approached him.
"You know if you keep doing that you're going to wear a groove in the throne." She threw a light tease at him as she walked up the few steps to the throne. At this point, Natsu had started falling behind when he came to his first challenge. The dreaded stair. The young saiyan stared at it intensely for a long moment, his tail flicking from one side to the next as you could tell he was trying to figure things out... He eventually started to clamor up the first stair, but quickly gave up and levitated himself off of it and pointed at it accusingly.
"Bad!" He said, sounding angry with the stair as he frowned.

Kinoko didn’t take long to enter the throne room and with her, the kid. Nasu snorted and rolled his eyes on his orbits; it was a bit annoying the fact she was with the kid all the time and just how goofy kids behaved, but he was curious. The Queen called him out on the heavy hammering on the arm of the throne and he stared at his own fingers for a moment and seized, without uttering a single word yet. It was clear he was not in the best of moods, but that was quite common now, ever since he had become the King of All the Saiyans. It wasn’t as if he found the responsibility repulsive, but he felt bored as of late and a tad bit anxious too, as he knew important things were about to come into play, but before he could share these plans with his Queen, he had to make sure she would keep it to herself.
Natsu tried to climb the stairs of the throne but he couldn’t really do that and instead flew his way up, cursing the stairs and, for once, there was some degree of happiness in Nasu’s eyes: to see his son displaying a bit of anger. That indeed lightened the mood and he sighed relieved. ”Maybe he is not like my father… Maybe he is just too premature, to be out of the incubation chamber with only two years… I guess there’s still hope.” he thought to himself . After that he got up and took a couple steps towards them.
”Kinoko, there’s something I need to share with you, but it’s annoying me I cannot do so. We’ve been distant, but I’m certain you know the reason.” Nasu pointed his index finger to her head. ”But we will correct it now. With enough discipline, you shall be able to take the wheels of your own soul for once and for all.” he said with a subtle smirk on his lips.
His eyes darted toward his kid and, crouching right where he stood, Nasu planted a small seed on the ground and quickly watered it. As he stood up, the floor began to crack almost immediately and from out of it came a Saibaman. A very strong Saibaman indeed, as it had a power level almost four times greater than a normal one.
[Saibaman PL: 5,000]
”Now, my little creature. Beat this kid to an inch of his life. Let’s see what he’s got.” and he cracked a very cruel smile and, as he said that, the creature laughed. ”Kekekeke!” and slowly began approaching the young prince. Nasu then stared at Kinoko with the corner of his eyes and now a more serious expression. ”It’s no use trying to interfere. I will stop you from doing so, but I’m certain it will cause pain. And pain is the key to developing a Strong Will. Now, strengthen your mind!” he said in an imperative tone.

As Kinoko walked up, she couldn't help but note he was far more irritated than usual... of course she couldn't blame him, what with announcing their plan to attack Namek in just 2 weeks she didn't doubt that the king felt stressed... In itself Namek was easy enough to take, the Namekians didn't hold a candle to a regular super saiyan let alone Nasu. However she knew the real challenge would lie with the Remnant alliance stationed there... she wondered how they would approach it. Their forces would be hesitant to fight those that were once comrades, and with Komatsu there well.. they were in for a rough time.
Her thoughts were pulled back to the present however as Nasu pointed at her, indicating that he wasn't telling her anything due to Nakiya's influence over her and Kinoko just nodded her understanding. Sure it hurt that he didn't have enough faith in her to keep her out on her own, but she knew she couldn't do it either... and if Kinoko knew too much, then that lighter side of her would no doubt try to gain a permanent dominance over them.
"Of course, I understand that and that's why I haven't pushed the issue. Though I've been trying to master it myself with the help of Tomina, I've been teaching her the Demon arts so that if Nakiya does come back around, we've got an ace up our sleeves. Tomina can use telepathy now so I've been seeing if I can't keep her out and so far I've been pretty successful." She noted, glancing at him as he stood up and put something down onto the ground. She raised an eyebrow at this but as soon as he watered it she knew he was creating a saibamen, though had no idea why.
Until of course her mate said so out loud, telling the green creature to attack their infant son and beat him to an inch of his life, to which Kinoko glared at both the creature and Nasu.
"What the hell are you doing..." She demanded, anger very apparent in her tone, though as soon as she took a step towards the green creature she stopped when Nasu stated he would stop her. At that point her gaze became pretty vicious with her mate as she grit her teeth in annoyance.
"You're going to beat your son that badly!? For what! Have you gone crazy since the coronation?!" She demanded though still didn't move, eyeing the saiba dangerously now as if silently threatening the creatures life if it didn't disobey Nasu's order.
Meanwhile, Natsu had landed on top of the final step and was now just sitting there, tail loosely wrapped around himself and watching his parent's very angry exchange. He didn't understand, though when the sudden green thing appeared he just broke out into laughter.
"puppy!" He cried out excitedly, pushing himself back up into the air once more and floating right for the saibamen, aiming to give the creature a great big hug, completely oblivious to it's intent.

The anger in her tone was clear as daylight, but he didn’t care. Instead of answering, he stared at his kid anxious to see what his reaction would be and the kid, against all odds, thought that the saibaman was a damn fucking puppy and that annoyed the shit out of his father, who widened his eyes and grit his teeth so hard it almost broke.
”Puppy?! Damn kid! You will see your fucking puppy!” he thought to himself, feeling completely enraged by the lack of aggressive in his son’s heart. He was the Prince of All the Saiyans and he should be a ruthless warrior just like his father, but something was wrong, something inside of him seemed off and, just like his grandfather Natto, he was one of a kind among the saiyan race: a saiyan born with true goodness in his heart. ”I’m gonna beat me father out of you if I need to!” a vein popped out on his left temple as he was filled with an ever growing fury.
The saibaman hesitated for a moment when he saw the fury in Kinoko’s eyes. ”Kek?!” and his red eyes reached for Nasu, as if in search of reassurance and the King roared at him. ”ATTACK OR I WILL ERASE YOU!” and that was pretty much all the incentive the creature needed to do his job and, without wasting any more time, he dashed forward, aiming to throw a powerful hook at the kid’s stomach.

Kinoko couldn't help but give a laugh when their child called out to the Saibamen, calling it a puppy and coming in for a hug. In this state, she didn't give a shit about how cute he was, but she did give a shit about a saibamen of all things hurting her son. Even if she didn't get to kill the pest now, she definitely would after... she wouldn't tolerate the thing.
Her laugh was quickly gone and the anger on her face once more as the Saibamen was ordered once more to attack. She turned her glare on Nasu once more, her eyes seeming to glare into his very soul. She wanted so badly to punch him right now... in fact she'd love nothing more than to feel her fist on his face, but knew exactly how futile and painful on her end that would be. So she refrained herself from moving a muscle, instead opting to close her eyes for a moment as she took a deep breath to steel herself, willing herself not to act against her most basic instincts as a mother....
As Natsu flew towards the Saibamen, Nasu yelled at the green creature and that just caused the young saiyan to pout as he stopped just short of the Saibamen. He moved one hand up to point at Nasu after he yelled accusingly.
"No! bad!" He said again, just like he had been addressing the stairs earlier. That was when the Saibamen launched himself towards Natsu without a sound, and the young prince just laughed at the funny 'puppy'. That was until the Saibamen threw a punch at the young ones stomach. The force of the impact was just enough to knock Natsu over onto his ass, getting his tail snagged underneath him. His eyes started to well up with tears once more as he looked at the Saibamen with a look of complete betrayal.
"Bad puppy! no. no!" He said through his sniffled. Eventually he started to cry out once more, crying loudly as he brought his hands up to his eyes and made quite the big scene as he tried to make the saibamen out to be the bad guy, like he was some sort of bully at school.
He continued to babble incoherently as the young saiyan pushed himself to his feet, lifting himself into the air and flying away from the Saibamen as fast as he coul and heading for the door they had come in from. It was closed, so the prince couldn't escape, but that didn't mean he couldn't try.

The saibaman had a small satisfaction after successfully hitting the kid and he was even happier when the kid didn’t fight back and instead tried to flee from the combat. Nasu, on the other hand, was growing far more annoyed than before and he folded his arms in front of his chest, growing angrier by the second as it was made obvious by the hammering of his fingers to his arm. ”Natsu, fight back! Be a saiyan for fuck sake!” he roared at his own son, with plenty of frustration in his tone.
The saibaman flew at an amazing speed, as it was far more capable than most of his race and reached the kid once again, aiming to elbow strike his head down to the ground, to send the kid plummeting like a rock. He was having the time of his life and that much as clear in his face and due to that, Nasu stared at Kinoko with the corner of his eyes, to make sure she was working on strengthening her mind and holding back her rage.

Kinoko's hand was clenched into a tight fist, her knuckles white from the sheer amount of pressure exerted. It was a miracle her skin didn't split open with how tightly she was holding it... it was another miracle that the Saiyan Queen wasn't jumping in to kill the Saibamen on the spot... something she would do rather quickly the instant her mate's farce was done and over with.
Whenever Nasu called out to their son to fight back she glared daggers at him, though kept her mouth shut and her movements minimal. Sure he'd have his way right now, but later she'd make sure she got hers. He wasn't going to get away with this, and she was going to make it clear how upset she was with him.
Natsu finally managed to reach the door, looking left and right as he looked for a way to get it open. Unfortunately for him it didn't have a handle to open as it would automatically slide open with the push of a button. He bouted and kicked the door in frustration, a small little dent appearing where his foot had been. Natsu would glance back towards the saibaman who had suddenly closed the gap between the two and hit him in the head.
He was smacked against the ground relentlessly, the sound of the cackling Saibaman now ringing relentlessly in the small saiyan's ears. Natsu wailed out loudly once more as he brought his hands over his head, holding the spot that hurt and crying big, pudgy tears as he started to gasp for breath through his crying. He would try to cry out for his parent's, wanting them to protect him from the bad puppy but his words were broken up even more so than usual.
A soft blue glow began to shine around Natsu's body as he lay there, forming what could only be described as a small bubble around the boy, looking like it was no more than his ki itself.
WC: 334 Natsu is possibly using a barrier tech unknowingly.

The Saibaman was satisfied his attack worked on the small saiyan, but Nasu was even more satisfied when he saw his son, at the very least, was capable of summoning what could be called a prototype barrier technique and that made him chuckle in satisfaction. This was enough for now and thus he stared back at Kinoko who by now had already mastered the technique. "Seems like he isn't useless after all." he said, mentioning Natsu. "Now... I know you are dying to get rid of the saibaman and I will allow you to do so. But not with your fists or your body." he paused, with a teasing smile. "If you want to save your son, you will have to make your aura a weapon! A spear! Now... Focus your ki energy on it, instead of just unleashing it as you flare the aura! Make it powerful and deadly and if you accomplish that..." he shrugged. "Be my guess and take the damn creature out. Hahahaha!" he said as he subtly taught her the Rebellion Spear technique.

There was a slight exhale of relief from the Saiyan Queen whenever the crying child managed to throw up some sort of barrier around himself. He might not have been able to defeat the little saibaman, but Nasu seemed happy enough that he could use his ki for something other than flying. She was also relieved when Nasu stated he was satisfied with that, and was about to take a step forward when Nasu told her she could get rid of the saibaman.
There was a cruel smirk that appeared on her face just then, her eyes seeming to glow dangerously as she eyed the little green creature. Nasu might have authority over both of them, but this creature had still disobeyed her and dared to hurt her child. No matter who's orders they were, this Saibaman wasn't about to live and tell the tale.
As soon as Nasu instructed her on what to do, her ki blasted out from her body in anticipation, the frustration still clear on her face. At first, her ki was even more wild than it normally was, angrily burning at everything around her (Though seeming to just bounce away from Nasu). It wasn't until she was told to focus it closer to herself and pretty much shape it like a spear did it start to show signs of calming.
It took her a few moments to get her own rage under control, and in doing so getting her ki under control, bringing it back to a normal aura around her body before she further attempted to bring it closer to herself. She tried to get her ki to stop looking like flames by hardening it around her much like a barrier, but then infusing it with her strength so that it packed more punch.
She'd never seen Nasu use this technique, so there was no way for her to directly copy what he had just done, and instead she just listened to his words and instead focused on her instincts. The Soy School so far was a very physical and in your face martial arts, and she could use that knowledge to her advantage when trying to learn it.
She clearly couldn’t just throw a spear of her energy at the Saibamen, that wasn’t what this was… no, instead her instincts were telling her to charge it. Even though Nasu said not to use her fists, she wanted to completely crush this little bug, and as she suddenly vanished from her spot, that’s exactly what she would do.
She would suddenly appear for just a brief moment in front of the saibamen before her concentrated ki slammed into him like the head of a spear. The strength of it compared to the little creature would be enough to utterly destroy the creature, and the sight of it would finally make her calm down enough to redirect her attention to their son...

Kinoko had some pleasure erasing the disposable creature and that made Nasu chuckle a bit, still, his small smirk faded away rather quickly when he saw his mate rushing towards the kid. ”She is becoming overly attached to the kid and that’s worrisome. I’m not yet sure he is an adequate heir and if he is not, I would better just send him to a faraway planet for him to hone his skills and care to generate another, more suitable one. I don’t want him dead, but he is far from what I’ve expected and I wonder if it had something to do with taking him out one year too early…” Nasu couldn’t help but to think that it had some relation, since both Akiko and Komatsu were taken from their incubation chamber way too early and they both had soft and foolish hearts.
The Saiyan King sighed and folded his arms in front of his chest for a moment, thinking things through. ”I wonder how that idiot of a brother is doing anyway… I hope he doesn’t get too worrywart about my decoy regarding attacking Namek. In all honesty, I would rather avoid more saiyan casualties, even though their ranks are filled with cowards and traitors. I also worry about leaving the planet vulnerable, but again, Jarvis is attacking Earth at this very moment, so he won’t come here… Nakiya is dead. I killed her myself so I’m sure I finished the job and even if she were to resurrect, I doubt she would be able to just teleport here out of the blue.” he touched his chin. ”The Kold Demons won’t attack thanks to my agreement with Laufey and even if they are foolish enough to try, the ones I will leave here to be led by Fennle would be more than enough to make quick work of them. Yes… I think it’s safe to assume we are in the clear. On top of that, I don’t plan on staying on Earth for more than a couple of days.” Nasu had thought this through and, in all honesty, his timing seemed correct and proper. ”And just to make sure, we will leave without anyone knowing we did so. This way no one will be able to leak any information.” he decided, just to be extra careful.
With his mind set, he took a couple steps towards Kinoko. ”You are becoming too soft because of this kid. But we will talk about this later. Now that I know your mind is safe, I’m happy to share a bit more with you.” and his eyes seemed genuinely relieved; Nasu liked to have people he could trust and deep inside his heart he carved for it and was continuously disappointed over and over again. ”Follow me. And bring the kid.” he said as he turned around and started moving towards the hidden hangar they had set for emergency escapes.
It was fishy to say the least, but he didn’t explain anything else. At least not yet.

With the Saibaman completely obliterated Kinoko walked over to the small boy who was still on the ground wailing, his little shield was still up around him, his head burried in his arms as if to protect himself. NAtsu didn't see that his mother had killed the saibaman just yet.
"Natsu, you can stop crying now. You're safe." She said gently as she knelt down next to the child and reached forward, touching her hand to the shield and then drawing it away just as fast, almost as if she had been shocked. She raised an eyebrow at the small child and then forced her hand through the shield, shattering the shield and placing her hand on the back of the small childs head, patting it reassuringly.
Natsu looked up when he was touched, eyes wide and full of tears. He almost lashed out at his mother before realizing it was her and then throwing himself into her arms and curling up. Kinoko caught him and held him tightly, stroking back the locks of black hair that spiked up much like his fathers.
When Nasu moved by them she stood back up, holding the child tightly against her as if he might throw another saibaman out of thin air at him, though forced herself to relax as she just knew he wouldn’t… When he accused her of going soft however she raised an eyebrow.
“What? How so? I don’t exactly have the best role model for a parent so you’re going to have to explain that one to me.” She stated as she looked down to Natsu with a light frown on her face. How was Natsu making her soft? She hadn’t slowed down in her training whatsoever and was really only getting stronger… the fact that she had to care for Natsu did hinder her sometimes but she didn’t consider her love for him a weakness… if anything it made her that much more dangerous.
Natsu seemed calm all of a sudden, as if a sudden weight had been lifted off of his shoulders and she just looked at him in confusion until he admitted he was glad that he could finally talk to her. At that she let a smile play her lips which hadn’t happened since the first few moments she entered the throne room.
“I’m sorry it took me so long… I should have found a way to do it myself.” She admitted as she did what he said, stepping next to him when he asked her to follow with Natsu in her arms.
“I know I have a long way to go before I can catch up to you, Nasu, but I swear to never be a looked at as your weakness. I”ll destroy anyone that thinks they can challenge me.” She assured him, feeling as if his comment about her going soft may somehow be related to that.

Nasu frowned his brows a bit in a somewhat thoughtful expression. ”I can’t really explain, but ever since you took him out. No… Ever since the Kaioshin accident, aggravated after you took Natsu out of his chamber, your behavior is sometimes a bit different. I can’t yet tell what’s up, but I know there’s something… But whatever, I’m just glad we can finally talk again without that demon bitch lurking around your mind, reading it and plotting…” he sighed in relief and that made a sincere yet small smile to appear on his face.
When she apologized for not learning how to defend her mind sooner, he shook his head. ”I’m sorry I didn’t teach you sooner. I guess I got sidetracked with everything that was going on…” he said as he walked towards the emergency hangar of the Palace. When Kinoko mentioned catching up to him so she wouldn’t be a handicap, he shook his head, stopped his walking and turned back to her, gently caressing her cheek with the back of his hand. ”If I only recognized those who held the same power as I do, I wouldn’t care for anyone. You are not my weakness, you are part of my strength. I don’t fight only for my sake anymore. I fight for Miso, for Karota, even for Luffa and Tarro. But mostly, Kinoko, I fight for you and even for this half-worthless brat you are holding…” and it was obvious Natsu’s behavior annoyed the shit out of him and yet, he fought for him.
Nasu cared about those he took and placed some of them by his side, and not under him. He believed in strength, but resolved and loyalty were also appreciated and he knew all too well that everyone had a role to play. ”You give me willpower to ascend even higher and that’s the reason I managed to create this Kingdom for us, to conquer our enemies and to ascend into godhood. You are part of all of this, Kinoko, so don’t belittle your part just because you lack a power level to compete against me, Komatsu and some others.” he added.

"Oh that..." She said with a pause to her words, wondering just how to explain what was going on with her without further aggravating the situation of Nakiya 'having a hold over her'. It was the influence of the corrupted water, plain and simple... something that had originally split her psyche and buried her gentler side... her encounter with the Kai, Maikeru, broke that gentler side free, splitting her mind into two pieces once more and commencing this struggle of good vs bad.
"It's kind of complicated and a bit of a long story but I can explain it whenever you want. To put things simply, Cursed water and holy Kai powers don't mix very well. I've been trying to fix what he broke in me, it's just a bit of a long process. Sorry I 'll find a way to get myself back to normal." She stated without going into too much detail. She didn't have the time to explain everything right now as Nasu turned to face her, placing his hand on her cheek. She couldn't help the instinct to lean into his touch, though her eyes remained focused on his own, showing her moment of weakness when he was with her while all the while showing that she wouldn't be caught off guard.
" A King has his duties, I understand that... but I'm glad to hear you say that. I know you more than most, and I've been seeing the stress you're going through lately, I admit I was starting to worry about you." She said gently, shifting Natsu in her arms as he squirmed, trying to get closer to her if that were even possible the closer Nasu got. The small boy was holding onto her lightly, his head tilted ever so slightly as he glared baby daggers at his father, his lower lip protruded in a pout.
Kinoko finally glanced down to their son when she felt the sudden increase in activity and it was her turn to roll her eyes at the kids attachment to her. She knew he was hurting after what that Saibaman did to him, but this was just excessive.
"He may be half worthless for now, but I'm sure if you spent some more time with him, he wouldn't be such a suck for me and might start to take after you a little." She stated as she pried him away from her chest, holding the small child out towards Nasu so that he could take him instead.
"No! bad! bad!" The prince said angrily as he started to flail his tiny fists around in an attempt to hit both Kinoko and Nasu if he moved to take him from his mother.
