[Thread PL: 245,943*] [*Note: Will be updating with Gains from Earth RoD mid-thread]
Heizen and Nakiya’s last training session left the two of them separated for a few days, up until Nyxosa’s claim to Godhood the two had not spoken. They were not as fragile as Earthlings, as their silence was not born from awkwardness or discomfort from their rather fun encounter in the dining room after training. They were both simply busy people. Heizen had been focusing on himself the last few days in an effort to raise his battle power and gain control of his energy finally. After his last training session with Delphi and Seid and their subsequent failures on Earth - it was finally time for him to return to business as usual. They hadn’t much time left to spend after all. Who knows when this wedding of theirs was supposed to transpire? He needed to have this done with, and after exhausting other training methods… he knew only she could bring out the rest of his power. She was the only one who could truly help him.
An all out fight. No weights, gravity, or other factors weighing them down. Only by having her fight him and dominate could she force him to awaken his full potential. This wouldn’t be easy, not by any means. But it was the best way of finalizing their training. {“My Queen… I require your assistance,”} the Demon Lord called to her telepathically as he floated outside the gates. He looked at the guards with a stern stare as they awaited for the confirmation from their Queen to let the Jackal inside.
He decided to have this final training on her turf instead of his own. A change of scenery might be nice after having been stuck in the palace for so long, plus it would diffuse the suspicion that this was a booty call rather than an actual work session. He wouldn’t dare make a move on her with Nyxosa, Aya, and Vulpeca around to walk in. She would know that, and thus their session would prove professional. {“I require your power. Only you can push me to my next level so that my training is complete.
You can choose to see this as an opportunity to really strike me for any slights of the past..,”} he said telepathically with a little bit of humor, though he supposed it was indeed possible that could be the case.
This was one of the rare occasions where Nakiya wasn't located in her laboratory. In fact she was sitting in the throne room with what looked to be an open Demonic gate in front of her, albeit much, much smaller than your average gate should be. Not a word escaped the Demon Queen's lips, but she seemed rather intent on this dark abyss in front of her, giving anyone looking on the indication that she was using her mind to speak.
The time for this Tournament of Power was quickly approaching, and she had to make sure that everything was ready for when it did come to pass. They only had what, an hour or so to act while the most powerful forces in the universe were gone? She was giving various instructions to multiple of her creations across the universe, tasking each of them to wake their brothers and sisters and prepare them to be integrated into their respective societies. This definitely wasn't the way the Queen wanted to go about this, but she supposed it would have to suffice until their mortal level grew. At least with her creations, she could help bring that number up before axing it down again...
"What better role than becoming the god of this universe... and it will only take an hour." She would say aloud, the dark gate in front of her closing. Nakiya stood to her feet once this was done, stretching her arms high above her and allowing a yawn to escape her lips. That was when she heard Heizen's voice push itself into her mind, and to that she just sighed as she let her frame relax, glancing towards the door of the throne room.
< My assistance, already? I suppose it has been some time... > She thought to herself, a rather teasing tone being transmitted with her thoughts as she began to step down from the stage that her throne was located on. She listened to the rest of his message and raised an eyebrow at that. He wanted her power? He wanted her to push him beyond his limits? She was definitely not the right person to ask for training, not in any form of physical combat. Still, she would step out of the throne room, slowly making her way towards the ante-chamber as she brought her hand to her chin in thoughts.
< I suppose I never did punish you for your insolence on planet Saiya, did I? Well, it might do me some to stretch. Very well, meet me inside. > She said, not specifying exactly where inside to meet her. She would send her command to the guards to allow them in before making her way to meet him.
Once he would enter the palace, he would find her standing there in an attire she hadn't worn in quite some time. She wore an armored corset styled top that caressed her top tightly, a pair of dark shorts that matched the attire covered by a red shawl that seemed to be made out of Dragon scales. Armored boots made their way up to her thighs and armored gloves covered her forearms. There were various pieces of golden jewelry adorning her body, even with her hair tied back, the golden crown around her head only accentuated by the draconian horns on her head. Altogether the outfit wasn't intimidating at all, but she wasn't out to be intimidating today, she just wanted to still look regal, while feeling relaxed in some form of clothing, seeing as she was usually naked as of late as her transformations gave her little need for clothing at all.

{“Heh,”} he chuckled at her initial response. At least he knew she enjoyed their “special time” together. He knew this was an odd request to bring to her. She wasn’t exactly the most skilled fighter, but she was the only one in Makai who could truly give him a challenge at this point. Vulpeca and Aya were both strong, and maybe together they could push him. There was always the chance that he overwhelmed them however. Things had progressed to a point that he could defeat both of them if he really put his all into it. No matter how hard he tried however… he knew he couldn’t overpower her. Even with skill. Plus… with the war to come - Heizen knew that she could use some exercise. It was possible that she too would reach a new level of power. If what his minions had claimed on Earth was true.. They had some work to do to maintain relevance. {“I like where your head's at. After this however hopefully we’ll both discover a whole new me,”} he said with a hint of excitement and intrigue. It had been nearly two decades since he had come to recognize his own face. Trapped in this beast like state - he would soon learn to access his suppression form and achieve the same level of beauty as the Queen. After all - he needed to have the proper appearance of a King, if he was going to be acting the part.
Her own words about punishing him for Saiya would normally have caused him annoyance or anger, but he actually found them amusing. {“That’s the spirit…,”} he said with a wide, devilish grin on his face beaming. As her minions allowed him access, he strolled past them with a confident, graceful step.
After a short time he appeared inside of the palace itself. As he arrived inside the throne room- what he found was a most interesting spectacle. This was the first time he had gazed upon her in… fancy attire. She truly now more than ever appeared to look like a Queen. His red eyes narrowed as they squinted for a moment to take it all in. He chuckled. {“Well. Clearly I can’t do this with you in THAT~”} he said in jest, pointing out the obvious for good fun. {“Where are Vulpeca and the others?”} he asked out of curiosity. {“Have they been filled in on what’s to come?”} He’d have to wait a second on his training, since the only kind of physical activity he wanted to do with her in that attire… wouldn’t at all raise his battle power. She’d have to change or he’d have to wait till later. With that view though… he didn’t mind waiting for a bit.
Nakiya would roll her eyes at the Jackal Demon as he stepped into the palace and walked up to her. He even went as far as to comment on her choice of clothing, saying he couldn’t very well fight her in her current attire and that caused the Demoness to raise an eyebrow towards him. Why the hell would she willingly limit herself by wearing confining clothes? Why would she make herself a target just to look pretty? No, there was much more functionality to this clothing than he realized, then again she could always just shapeshift at any time she wanted too which made the whole point pretty moot.
< If I can kick your ass naked, Heizen, then imagine what I could do with my clothes on? > She asked him sarcastically, turning her back to him as she waved her hand in the air, a dark portal opening up before them. She would then guide Heizen through it, and appear within the palace’s training room, located deep underground somewhere underneath the palace. There were no visible doors and no visible windows on any side, only tiny vents that allowed air to be pumped into the room.
There were various pieces of training equipment, such as weights, swords and all sorts of machinery against the walls, leaving a large open space in the center of the room for them to actually train. Nakiya would walk towards the sword rack as Heizen asked her where vulpeca and aya were, and honestly she might as well start letting him in the loop on things, especially if he was meant to be her King.
“Vulpeca is over-seeing the preparations before my creations are released throughout the Galaxy. There’s only a 45 minute window in which we can fully establish them into the current societies of their respective planets. Aya is on planet Namek, I sent her to fetch Jarvis as I can only imagine the role he is going to play in this upcoming tournament.” She stated casually as if Heizen should already know about the tournament of power. She knew he didn’t, but it would lead the conversation towards her informing him about it. It was only fair for him to know that their plans would have to be much more subtle than the full scale assault they had hoped to mount. She would grab hold of one of the training swords, whipping it towards heizen nonchalantly before heading towards the center of the room.
“Our own plans are going to change, and I need you to be as strong as possible before this… Tournament of Power the gods are holding is to pass. Intrigued yet? Good, because you’ll have to beat me to get the rest of the information.” She stated as her clothes began to melt away from her body, instead being replaced by hard, dark crimson scales that hugged her soon to be naked frame. Atop her head, her horns would grow 5x their size, protruding sideways out of her head at the same time as her tail would grow behind her. She was taking on her truest form, that of a Demon Overlord, a true Makaio Queen.

Heizen laughed a bit; dark chuckling echoing through the chambers at her response. She clearly misunderstood his meaning. {“Perhaps you misunderstand. I was merely commenting on your appearance and how awful it’d be to cover you in blood while wearing something so nice…,”} he telepathically conveyed with a rather amused tone. Given that he was able to surprise her last time they fought, he had no doubts in his mind that he might damage her in this spar. Whatever blood she spilled would darken that lovely dress that she wore, causing his own lust to build up. {“Alas. Perhaps I won’t have to worry about that…,”} he complimented her, being rather charming for once in their encounters.
He followed her through the portal and into her own unique training quarters. This would be a marvelous surprise for him. Her set up was a little more… decorated than his own. He had to admit it was kind of neat. His face was rather stoic and serious, his eyes scanning the room as he looked at all of the various toys with interest. The swords, the machinery, the weights. It was a wonder why Vulpeca never brought him to this room. Perhaps this would have helped their training in the early stages. Morto’s training quarters were admittedly a fair bit simplistic in design. An empty training room with various gadgets stored for scenarios. Any weapons were in a different room and would have to be carried to the training room. Training Bots. A Gravity Machine. Weights. That was all it consisted off. But this room was so much more.
Perhaps this was part of the secret behind the Devla’s power, aside from their own great potential. He grabbed the sword that she enforced onto him.. Scanning it to feel its weight and its effect. Truthfully if he wished he could have summoned his own.. But he would play along. {“I mean… I suppose it’ll do…,”} he commented, trying to hide his amazement with the room for his own stubborn reasons. With Vulpeca and Aya apparently gone - that left him and Nyxosa as the only people in this mansion besides the help. He wouldn’t have to worry about them interfering them in this intense match. He wasn’t sure how much power he’d end up using in this fight… and he wasn’t quite sure how damaged either of them would get.
But this was important. For their survival.
His ears found themselves rather intrigued however at the mention of some tournament. A Tournament of Power. Whatever could that mean? A tournament of the Gods? Was this some kind of whimsical gathering? Was there a prize at stakes? It was infuriating how much she was holding back. If he was to be her King she needed to be a little more open about things like this so that he could be prepared. “How cruel.. I spent all this time getting stronger for you and you can’t even be upfront with me…,” he acknowledged, but his tone was not that of someone who was whimpering or whining. It was joking, but admittedly the joke was not entirely for his humor. A small flicker of him was a little frustrated by this whole thing.
As she began to transform before his very eyes - her naked frame soon to be made bare to him once again.. He couldn’t help but grin. “Don’t forget that this is about training~ Try to keep your hands off me this time,” he chuckled teasingly to her, knowing that it would piss her off. It was amusing to him. Soon a dark blue aura encased his frame- and began to burst out of the Jackal Demon as he started to release his full power. The very training room itself soon trembling from its weight as the air itself got thicker by their growing powers. It brought a rush of excitement through the Jackal Demon as his own desires would soon be granted. A real fight with the Demon Queen, a chance to measure his own skills up against her and found out where his strength lied.
“COME!” he would shout towards his Queen, waiting for her to get a piece of him. He was ready for this… more than she could even imagine.
"Yes terribly awful considering I have a dozen handmaidens ready to wash and polish it at the first speck of blood. Although, I don't think you need to worry about that at all, my dear Heizen, as I highly doubt you'll be able to so much as lay a finger on me. Not if you want my best." Nakiya would muse as she would grab a training sword of her own. She would look the blade up and down, analyzing it closely before choosing to put it back on the stand. If she was going to teach him the final steps to the Royal Demon Arts then she wouldn't need it, she had long ago mastered the ability without the use of an actual sword as most needed when first learning this technique. She was still woefully unaware of many of Heizen's techniques, and didn't know that he could, in fact, do something similar already.
"It's just a practice sword, it doesn't need to be anything more than adequate." She would say suddenly as Heizen analyzed the sword even more harshly than she had. This was the first indication that he knew more about swords than she had originally suspected. She kept an eye on him for a brief moment before her form started to change. Her body was only naked for a fraction of a second before her draconic scales would begin to cover her from head to toe, hiding the more sensitive area's of her body from view. It seemed as if the Demon Queen had very little protection in regards to these scales, but if one were to try and pierce her skin, they would find it just as difficult to get through.
"Hmph, talk to me like a whore again and I'll make sure you'll be a very boring husband." She stated with an annoyed huff as the room started to tremble around them from Heizen's power up. She would remain standing where she was, with one hand placed gingerly on her left hip, her tail sliding from side to side as she let the sensation of his power wash over him. It was nothing to scoff at, many Demons could never dream of attaining this sort of power... unfortunately for Heizen, Nakiya had been honing her skills for a very long time, and she was only a hair's breadth away from achieving the power she had always dreamed of. The power of a true Makaioshin.
"That's cute pup, but if you want my full power, you will have to do better then that." Without raising her voice, or visibly moving at all, Nakiya's muscles would flex, her back arching ever so slightly as her Crimson ki would erupt to life around her, turning from energy to pure fire that engulfed her in a swirling orb of heat. Her power would rise incredibly rapidly, soaring past Heizen's own power and showing no signs of stopping. IT wasn't until a concentrated blast of fire shot out from the orb, that Nakiya's power would stabilize.
Soaring out of the orb of fire, Nakiya was wielding what looked to be a blade made of energy and flames. She would swing it from the ground up towards Heizen's shoulder with the full intention of cutting through his armor. If Heizen looked closely, he could see the star shaped marking on her neck giving off a faint glow as she channeled the energy and magic of her school into the Darkness Sword Rush.

Well. She was clearly in a mood today. Heizen took note, rather disappointed by the lack of fun in her demeanor. What was meant to be a compliment was taken seriously and made rather.. Snobby to say the least according to her response. He supposed that was the price one paid with high born ladies. They never knew how to enjoy simple things, rather they expected such attention and praise. “Very well,” he simply said in response to her. He wasn’t going to bother wasting time and breath with more retorts. This game had grown boring for him. He simply prepared himself and took up the sword that she gave to him - keeping it down by his side flowing freely to minimize the weight. He wasn’t going to stress his muscles and his weight until the had to deal with her approach.
Heizen had had a fair bit of experience with swords - as that was what his own fighting style mostly entailed. The Book of Amon was a rather impressive repertoire of techniques that he had almost finished mastering just the other day. But he would fill her in on these things at a later point in time. If she wanted to learn more about his abilities - she’d have to be more forthcoming herself in the future. Otherwise what was the point in sharing his knowledge? He stood silently as her body began to grow those Draconic scales once more - not minding them much. They seemed rather exotic.
She was a rather serious woman, that was for sure. To take his jest so intensely - he wondered how a being like Jarvis could come to be someone she loved. His reputation preceded him as a man of equal enjoyment. So then how did he bypass this serious and tough demeanor? Then again - the Demon King didn’t really care. If she wished to remain so, then he would turn back his charms on someone more deserving of them. “As you wish, my Queen,” he said, his face no longer grinning. Instead it returned to a more serious and focused stare. As she began to power up - releasing all of her great potential before him - the Demon King prepared himself. He knew the limits of her abilities back on Saiya, and those limits were likely to soon ascend. It had been long overdue for the Queen to reach a new level.
Heizen chuckled at the show that was her transformation. Her power really was quite impressive, most impressive. He could feel himself sweat - wet droplets falling down the side of his face from a mixture of both the heat and his own nervousness. This was what he needed. But damn was this not what he wanted. He never much liked getting his butt whooped, especially by a lady no less.
Straight from the flames - Nakiya charged at him with sword in hand. Little did she know that when it came to swordplay - Heizen was much fiercer than she. Maneuvering himself to her side with ease - Heizen launched a precise lunge with the sword which if it connected would hopefully pierce through her scales and leave a small incision into her skin. He wasn’t aiming to butcher or kill her, so the weak was intentionally kind of weak. “I’ve noticed something since the battle on Saiya, my Queen. You have great power, but you’ve never been much of a warrior.. Have you?
You rely on your great power.. because you’ve spent most of your life depending on others to fight in your place.” he stated calmly, making it obvious that he wasn’t teasing her or meaning it as an insult. It had been an observation. “On Saiya you had a complete advantage against that Super Saiyan, and yet you nearly died. Your own arrogance on the battlefield is a weakness that your foes will exploit. That they have exploited.
If you never want to lose in a battle, then you’re going to have to evolve past this arrogance and spent a little more time sharpening your mind and your body on the battlefield.”
Heizen had meant this spar to be about training him, but he had deceived her. This was also partially about training her as well. “If you want to push me with your skills - then you’re better off using your hands. Your skill with a sword isn’t as refined as mine,” he said harshly. Nakiya’s skill with a sword was completely based on power and speed, but it lacked any sort of finesse to it. Heizen however was in the midst of learning another study prior to this session. He had been learning how to properly manage a longsword. Though his technique wasn’t entirely perfect or graceful, it still held more finesse and comfort than Nakiya’s. That would be what made this fight just as difficult for her.. At least if she insisted on using a sword. “That’s the only difference between us Nakiya. You grew up with great power and little reason to fight, while my upbringing had the reverse. When you’re enslaved to a Demon Lord: forced to spend every moment laboring and fighting to kill his enemies - you learn. Your skills improve. Even now… though you may possess immense power- I can assure you this will not be as easy a battle as you may think~.”
He wasn’t going to hold back. This was a fight meant to help both of them evolve. The Demon Realm depended on it!
WC: 911
(Since the Royal Demon Arts isn’t a sword based MA I’m treating Nakiya’s swordplay like basic melee for the sake of the thread~ After doing some math I could indeed dodge her attack since I possess 4/5 stamina~] (Heizen’s counterstrike is roughly at her basic MA strike PL~)
As Nakiya charged forward with all of the power of the Darkness Sword Rush, she felt pretty confident that she would get an early strike in on Heizen. After-all, he wasn't expecting the new limits to her power, nor was he expecting to see the next technique of the Royal Demon Arts so soon. As she approached however, Heizen shifted just enough to avoid the energy sword, knocking it up with enough force to get into her guard and scrape the scales that guarded her torso. It didn't hurt, nor did it cut her but it annoyed her... Still, the flames of the attack would continue long after the sword was blocked, firing past where Heizen's head had once been.
"Tsch." She would hiss in annoyance, the sword vanishing from her grasp as she flew back a few paces away from Heizen. It seemed Heizen had quite a bit to say to her, and at first there was absolutely nothing insulting about his words as he was correct. She wasn't used to fighting for herself, she had her creations to fight for her, she used manipulation and deceit to ensure she always had a fighter at her beck and call. Although when he called her arrogant she couldn't help but growl, her eye twitching in annoyance as it showed just when Heizen had crossed her metaphorical line.
"You're right, I've never had to fight for myself beyond the schooling I've had here within the palace when my father was alive and when my brother was in power. I was never meant to rule, and therefore my education in things like Royal Sword play is indeed lacking... I've used my cunning and wit to get myself this far. As I accumulate my own strength, my creations and my puppets fight my battles for me. That hardly makes me weak... as for arrogance? I fail to see how that was my undoing. I was outmatched, simple at that, with my forces spread so thin I couldn't utilize the resources I had." She would huff defensively, glaring at him intently. He wanted her to use her hands instead of a sword? He truly was the arrogant one here! To tell HER how she should fight simply because he had more training with a sword. She would clench her fist tightly and draw in a deep breath before she would continue to speak.
"Before your own arrogance get's the best of you, mutt, The Darkness Sword Rush was one of my father's prized techniques, and the next step in your training in the Royal Demon Arts. However, seeing as you are already so vastly superior than me with a sword, why don't you master it without me? Instead of assuming your superiority, you're going to have to prove it to me more than once. Everyone can get lucky." She definitely wasn't impressed with Heizen just now, and her mood wasn't getting any lighter the more he spoke. What Heizen didn't understand was that their strengths were entirely opposite to one another. She wasn't a martial artist by any means, he was a killer trained in the pits of slavery. Unlike her, she was a princess who usually had everything she wanted.... at least that's how people from the outside saw it...
' You grew up with great power and little reason to fight '
The words echoed in her mind like a dark miasma, poisoning her normally logical mind as she couldn't help but think of her upbringing. She hadn't been born with great power... in fact she lacked so much of it at birth she had been meant to die. It was only due to her mothers Draconic magic that she survived. Apparently, while she and her twin brother were still within the womb, her brother had been growing bigger and stronger due to him taking it all from her. Normally a condition like this resulted in one twins death, but despite all the odds Nakiya had survived. When she was a child, she was often times sick so she reserved herself to her studies. Her brother was the child her father had wanted after-all, she was just the extra that tagged along for the ride.
She never had a reason to fight... that was the furthest thing from the truth. She might not have grown up in the slave pits, but she hadn't spent very much of her childhood in Makai either. She had an entirely different kind of battle to fight during her stay on Earth. She had to find dark magics that had been lost to the earthlings for centuries just to find her way home. She didn't fight with her fists, she fought with magic, with her knowledge.
The sheer amount of hurt in the Queen's eyes before she shook her head would have brought any other woman to tears. Nakiya however, would never allow such a thing again. She would raise both of her hands above her head, her eyes now locked onto Heizen. Pulses of magical energy began to wave off of her hands and slip around her before firing out in multiple ripples towards Heizen. The energy would feel menacing, horrifying even and not because of it's strength. Something about this magic would just feel scary. The waves coming for Heizen would attack his mind directly, infusing his conscious mind with the darkest horrors hidden within his subconscious. All of Heizen's fears would suddenly play out for him as if he was actually going through them right there.
WC: 920 Using: [VT-1] Nightmare Pulse: By bringing her hands up above her head, Nakiya emits pulse waves of ki that spread over a 10m area around herself. Oh it was true that the Demon Queen had had the advantage in speed and the element of surprise. Who’d have thought the Queen would be so bold as to go all out from the start? Were Heizen not a weaker opponent, this would be an easy moment to gain the drop on her. Alas he was not. But thankfully for the Demon Lord he had a few new tricks up his sleeve. He chuckled as he disappeared from reality - the Demon Queen finding herself blindsided by Heizen as he reappeared from her flank with the sword strike counter. This was what he had spent so long learning from the Book of Amon, the Demon Lord of a past generation. This technique allowed him to evade nearly any attack so long as he had the energy and the reaction time to respond.
To let herself get caught off guard like this was sloppy. Were he stronger she could have suffered a decent blow here. And he was not going to let it go unsaid. This training was for both of them. A mutually beneficial session.
As he thought. She got defensive. But he didn’t quite care. She needed to hear this. His glowing red eyes narrowed as she began to make excuses for the battle on Saiya, for her near death experience with the Saiyan elite. “You’re wrong,” he said coldly as he stood there with his arm once again relaxed with sword facing the ground. “You should have been able to handle him without anyone’s help. He was stronger than me or Aya but he was right in league with your power. There’s nothing wrong with using your creations to your advantage.
But when the Saiyans someday come don’t think you’ll be able to rely on anyone else to cover for your slack. They’ll have quite enough to worry about on their own. You need to learn to be self-sufficient on the battlefield when it’s necessary,” he said. That was what this was for. “Who cares what your father intended for you? Do you think whoever spawned me intended for me to be where I am now?
Do you think Mortos intended for me to be here by your side, telling you these things that will keep all your enemies from being able to beat you? No. You’re strong enough to defeat even the best of them if you can figure out how to be less of a scientist and a Queen and a little more like a warrior,” he said.
“At the end of the day it’s your power that will either save or doom Makai when war comes." Without Nakiya being able to properly fight Makai was doomed. Even with Jarvis’ help. “You’re stronger than any Demon alive when you can focus and draw out all your strength! Use it!” he now yelled at her aggressively, not caring that she was the Queen. It was exactly what she needed to hear in order to ascend, to better herself. If she could evolve, the not even her late father would be able to compare to her power. Her brother would not even be able to compare. The Queen had the most potential of all her family and yet she didn’t realize it.
And with that she lashed out against him - raising her hand as ripples of energy expanded out. Normally he would have been able to shield himself from such a thing, but he was caught off guard. As she infected his mind with these spectral images, running her magic deep into him to draw out his nightmares, he screamed in pain and anguish. This was the price one paid for their help, for their aid.
It was so dark. Heizen was on his knees breathing heavily as he felt enclosed and trapped, suffocating and unable to do anything. He couldn’t see anything. His red eyes glowed with anger as he looked around trying to figure out what was going on. Where was he? What was this darkness, this loneliness? He couldn’t sense anyone or anything. He was simply… stuck. “Where am I?” he muttered to himself, just loud enough to be heard in the real world outside of his trapped mind.
And then suddenly everything around him changed, and he saw himself back in his mansion on his grand throne. He saw Nyxosa, Vulpeca, Seid, Delphi, Kuroko, even Nakiya and Aya all surrounding him in a circle…What was going on? He could not make it out.
The Demon Lord didn’t understand.

OOC: Heizen used Myaku (St-3) to dodge the Darkness Sword Rush which I was not aware was last turn's attack. He then took a VT-1 this turn which wounded him greatly and caused him to begin to hallucinate. Hallucination will play out more next turn as Heizen got lazy and didn't wanna type up the whole hallucination scene yet XD
He goaded Nakiya by telling her truthful albeit harsh sentiments in an attempt to push her anger and allow her to begin awakening her x44 Makaioshin form!
"EXCUSE ME!?" Nakiya would growl out loudly towards Heizen, her aura flaring around her angrily all of a sudden. The heat from her flames would be enough to melt the flesh off of any regular mortals bones at this point. The red fire slowly turning to white as the flames begun to grow hotter and hotter. Was Heizen actually calling her out on her strength? Did he really think that she wasn't strong at all? That she was weaker than those SAIYANS? She would clench her fists tightly, her teeth grinding together as her canines would begin to grow longer, protruding just a little bit past her lower lip.
"My slack?! Protect me?! You must be absolutely stupid! You see things too much from a warrior's perspective and not enough from that of a strategists! I have all of the strength I need! Like you said, I am the strongest Demon alive in this Universe, not only with my own strength but with the power of my army, the power of creation! My power rivals that of the GODS! HOW DARE YOU think anything less of me!" Heizen's later praise would fall on deaf ears. Even though he would acknowledge her strength, Nakiya was far too focused on the negative in that moment. No one stood up to her like he did before, no one would shove her faults in her face in an attempt to help her grow, and so to the Demon Queen this wasn't constructive criticism, it was quite the personal assault!
In her anger, her iris' would turn to dark slits, the white of her eyes turning a blood red as the rest of her body would morph and change further. Instead of growing into that of a powerful dragon's as it had been doing throughout her transformations, it would begin to get smaller, the crimson scales now covering the entirety of her skin, caressing her face like a crown as it pushed back her long red locks. The crown of scales would be accented by the appearance of her dragon like horns growing backwards to point back behind her head. Her tail would thin out and become much more manageable. Overall, Nakiya's power would skyrocket, dwarfing that of Heizen's, and in a heartbeat's long moment Nakiya would dash towards him.
As heizen found himself locked in a nightmare, Nakiya's first would fly towards his face with all of the power that her rage would provide. For the first time in centuries, a Makaioshin was awakening, and it would truly be a horrifying power to behold.

Despite all the Queen's angry ranting - the Demon Lord could hear none of it while trapped in the void of his own mind. The Jackal Demon found himself trapped inside a dream, no a nightmare. A nightmare that seemed almost familiar to him, a path he believed he might have journeyed before. Something deep below the surface. A memory? What was this dark void that seemed so familiar to him? This feeling of confusion? This pit of loneliness from which he couldn’t seem to climb out? All he could see in the darkness was everyone he knew standing in a circle around him. The Queen, The Generals, His Minions. All of them. Surrounding him in a wide circle.
He saw fire. Torches were in each of their hands, holding a small flame. Why were they all here? What were they doing? “Where am I!” he shouted, but they couldn’t hear him. Dropping their torches to the ground, Heizen’s eyes widened as a circle of fire surrounded him. Chants of dark demon magics that he was familiar with. Sweat dropped from the Jackal’s forehead as the heat from the flames began to affect him, effectively draining him of his energy. “What is this?” he shouted again, fear racing through him as his heart began to pound violently like a war drum.
And suddenly the void beneath him opened up, swallowing him whole as he descended into the black infinity with no sight of when his fall would end. A loud scream emanated from the Demon Lord as true terrors filled his mind. Awakening a memory he believed he had long suppressed and evolved from.
The memory of his curse. And the day it happened. “No!” a young Heizen shouted, a young boy not yet transformed into the beast he was today. There he stood in that same circle of fire with a bunch of strangers watching over him, chanting endlessly things he did not understand. Tied up to a wooden post with steel cables he was powerless to break free. All he could do was scream and shout in resistance. He didn’t know what was going on. He didn’t know what they planned to do. He only knew that he was afraid and scared, and that he wanted out of this thing. The only person he could truly see standing over him was Mortos, the Red Reaper staring down at him in a cold, ruthless stare. Next to him… was his father. A face he had long forgotten and a being he hardly recognized.
Demon Lord Berith. The Red-Haired Demon Lord who had been destroyed by Amon Fourteen Years Ago in a quarrel between the two houses. Much like Heizen he was chained and unable to move, simply made to watch as the red-haired Demon faced Mortos’ wrath, the Demon Lord’s endless cruelty. “FATHER!” he shouted as tears raged down his face. If he could move his hand he would have extended it toward him, but he was helpless. Trapped to this post. Trapped to this ritual. They continued to chant and speak endless nonsense in front of him to the point that he felt like his ears were bleeding listening to it. Fear and confusion soon transformed into anger and frustration. He felt his red ki begin to power up, the grounds shaking from his fury. “Stop this!!! Don’t let them do this to me! Father!” he cried out again, his body shaking violently as he tried his hardest to break the restraints and get free.
And it was in that instant that the swing came. Morto’s scythe ripping right through the boy’s flesh leaving a large set of cuts across his torso. Heizen hollered in agony as blood began to spill out. Before he knew it the wound was healed however. He began to sigh for relief, beginning to regain his compure when suddenly it happened again. The Demon Lord repeated the same torture scene again and again multiple times, and each time he got the screams from Heizen that he wanted. “That’ll teach you to stay put, like a good welp,” Mortos growled before leaving them to it. Even more terrified and his little spirit broken… the young Heizen simply remained in his post.
It felt like it would soon be over at least.
But that didn’t mean the worst had yet to come. As the fire surrounded him in a circle, Heizen began to cry out as every cell in his body felt like it was on fire. What the hell was happening? Why did this hurt so bad?
“Now watch Berith. Watch as your son’s potential in all of your clan’s glory is snuffed out. Watch as I remake your progeny into a weak dog, forced to heel at my feet for all eternity. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DEFY ME!” he shouted. Heizen’s little bright eyes widened with confusion and fear. What did he mean a dog? What were they doing to him? He closed his eyes as he continued to scream and every cell in his body continued to burn. Rearranging itself and molding as he took on an animal state- his skin turning black as night and his eyes turning red with black slits. His height began to enlarge unnaturally into a six foot Jackal Demon with a large muscular frame. What was this? What was happening? Why did it hurt so bad?
This process happened for two whole hours. And it was the worst pain Heizen would ever feel in his life, not that Malokai and Mortos wouldn’t try to top it in the next fourteen years that followed. The older Heizen watching this in horror felt his veins nearly burst out of him with rage, his eyes glowing with a hot red fury as this awakened memory burned every cell. Not with the fire produced by horrendous pain, but the fury of never-ending wrath and anger.
As Nakiya punched the immobile Heizen with enough force to normally knock out a Demon as weak as him - Heizen’s anger was climaxed with a deafening roar, a cry of pain and anger. Much like Nakiya - a surge of power awakened in the Demon Lord and future King. Dark Blue Lightning sizzled across the floor of the training area as his full potential awakened, his energy heightened with such fury and force that the curse placed on him as a child broke entirely. A huge weight on the Jackal Demon had finally lifted, and Heizen never felt better.
But he couldn’t enjoy it. He was too angry. “Do you resent me, do you hate me for telling you the things that no one else will!?” he shouted as a sword manifested in his hand. His Demon Sword: A red blade colored like blood with a black handle, an adorned skull serving as the crossguard to defend from attacks. Yes it was a fine weapon that would do nicely.
“Then go on and feel the new strength you’ve acquired! The evolution that no one else ever brought out in you! You don’t progress without anger, without fury! You don’t get stronger without feeling you need too, you fool!” he shouted as the Demon Realm empowered him to his max, all of his stamina bursting in this one attack. She wanted to see him reproduce her technique? Well he would gladly prove to her how easy it was to replicate. “Your strength will never be enough! You must always aim higher! Not just with your toys, but with yourself!” he continued as he appeared before her in the blink of an eye, his natural parameters maximized by the Makyo Star. Unleashing the wild, ungraceful barrage of sword strikes passed down the Devla line’s Royal Demon Arts - Heizen did indeed burst all of his energy at once. His red blade coursing rushing and violently swinging at Nakiya with all the frustration and anger she had imbued in him with her stupid trick.
“Otherwise we are ALL dead! And it will be US that is erased from this Universe!”
Pending the result of those sword strikes- if they went according to plan he would blast her with an violent surge of Evil Impulse, the mental attack hoping to push her back. Or at the very least keep her busy enough from attacking him.
“DO YOU HEAR ME?! DO YOU!?”
The folly of this however was that he had nothing left after this. He would be totally empty and void of energy.

With 4 Stamina/Demonic Souls/Makyo Powers into the attack - the Sword Rush is happening at about 26 mill!
As her fist collided with Heizen's face, Nakiya's form would soon finish it's transformation with a wave of fire emitting itself from his body. The Demon Queen herself stood reborn a new, a veritable Demon God by claim of power. She felt it rushing through her veins, through every cell of her body, empowering more than just her fists. It empowered her spirit, her hatred and anger towards the world. While she always held onto those emotions she had suppressed them so as to not dwell on the past. How could this mutt dare to stand there and challenge her, how dare he doubt her power! She clenched her fists tightly as her darkened eyes stared at Heizen with such an intense hatred.
"It looks like I'm going to need a new King, because I am going to fucking kill you! Don't progress without anger and fury? You're god damned right you can't! That doesn't mean you have to be a Kai damned brute! That doesn't mean you need to be a 'warrior'!! WE ARE NOT SAIYANS! OUR RAGE AND FURY FUELS OUR MAGIC, OUR DEMONIC POWER, NOT OUR FISTS! DON'T YOU DARE ACT LIKE YOU ARE SUPERIOR TO ME, I'VE BEEN THROUGH FAR MORE THAN YOU KNOW" She growled angrily, the fire that build up around her seemed to be fusing with the indigo aura that radiated around her like the energy of a black void. The sensation of a Makaioshin's energy was a strange one, and just the sight of it was truly fearsome. The pure hatred in her words and the subtle movements she was making was a testament to the willpower stopping her from tearing off Heizen's head right then.
Just as Heizen summoned his own Ki blade, the fire around Nakiya's body would intensify and expand. She would cry out in pure anger, her power level rising and rising to heights it had never been too before. Even back on planet Saiya her power had been no where near this large, she truly had ascended to another league completely. As Heizen rushed forward, Nakiya would push out with the building flames with a sudden burst of crimson power added to the already mixed colors of energy. It honestly looked like something straight out of a storybook on hell, a Demon at the center of a multicolored array of flames that would tear through everything in it's path.
As the fire would smack into Heizen it would blow out the Ki blade like it was nothing more than a flickering candle flame, his words falling on deaf ears as her anger pushed the flames hard into Heizen's body, knocking him back against the wall behind him, the flames and pure evil energy tearing away at his armor and flesh as if they were hungry Demons themselves. It was a brutal sight if anyone had been able to watch the scene. The walls would crack and start to shatter as the entire palace would shake around them, once more the only reason it didn't collapse was sheer force of will over her own power.
While becoming a Makaioshin was a great and abundant power, it would also force the Demon Queen to finally face her own past as she delved deeper into those negative emotions...

“Then fucking do it, Nakiya. You’ll never meet another Demon that can get through to that thick skull of yours!” he snarled back with resistance. “If you think I’m a brute, then clearly you aren’t paying attention to the Saiyans you’ve been studying all these years! They lie! They deceive! They betray! They maim! They kill! They pillage! Do you want to be a Saiyan’s whore? Of fucking course not! None of us do!
Then we’re not allowed to lose! And I refuse to lose just because you’re too stubborn to let yourself grow!” he would roar as his sword would slice against the flames… pushing them back with all of his might and determination. “I don’t care how you fight. Use Magic, Use A Sword, Use Your Fists! Who gives a shit! As long as you can defend yourself from those who would dare challenge us! Be the Queen you were always meant to be, damn it!” he roared as his resistance began to reach its climax, as eventually even he could not overcome her new power. He had helped her gain a significant boost in power, and for this service he was to scream with agonizing burns across his flesh burning him near death.
But he knew this was not the worst pain he had ever endured. Mortos had seen to that. But it was definitely in his top five. The screams were not much weaker from the memory she had forced him to relive. And it was at this moment a part of him began to hate Nakiya, and truly resent her for who she was. A blackness taking root underneath as he found himself done trying to help her.
A few hours later….
Heizen woke up with severe burns across his skin. He groaned in agony, barely able to move. She had really done a number on the Jackal Demon. Grunting with his eyes closed, Heizen noted that his energy had replenished in his slumber. With a large sigh he would begin to focus his own abilities, and begin to heal his wounds with a force of energy. Negative Energy seeped into his body to refuel and rebuild the skin that had been charred away. This was another skill he had learned from the Book of Amon - the ability to heal his own wounds and others with the power of negative energy. It was a useful skill, but not something he could do actively for himself more than once (at least to this degree). It took a lot out of him to restore his own body like this, though weaker wounds proved to be much easier. After a minutes had passed, Heizen was back to normal, and stood up as such from the mess they had both made.
Heizen could feel though upon awakening… that he had broken the curse. He no longer felt that same weight around his energy. He was not forced to endure the monster state any longer. Relaxing.. A bright light radiated as his skin turned fair and his stature lessened into a more average height, slenderly fit specimen. His eyes were natural with a white sclera and red irises. His hair, down to his neck, was bright red like that of a sunset, with bangs just below eye level.
What appeared to be an almost entirely different being emerged from the rubble. Red Eyes scanning the area for signs of the Queen. Regardless of whether or not she was still there… he would telepathically communicate to her before taking his leave. If she had dared to chain him up, she would find that her restraints weren’t quite strong enough to hold him now. He was beyond such things.
His new voice would appear in her head… a softer tenor voice speaking in her mind bluntly and to the point.
{“So. It appears you didn’t kill me. I’ll be taking my leave now…,”} he would say to her telepathically. {“Not to worry. I won’t bother with you anymore… do what you want, My Queen,”} he would say bitterly, making a portal to leave this place and head over back to his mansion. He had other things to do now. As it was looking right now…
He was rethinking a lot of things about the state of affairs of Makai. Right now a part of him wanted to see it burn out of nothing but spite towards its ruler. But such things were like a small flame, it burned but could be swiftly... easily.. snuffed out with the wind…
WC: 756
>Took the attack head on with horrendous burns all across his body... was knocked out for a few hours > Used ST-3 Healing to heal all of his wounds... > Due to mastering his Demon King Mode - Heizen is able to suppress his power level in accordance with his Ki Suppression techs. His transformations have now become actual transformations of buffing his suppressed state (or transforming back into his Jackal Form) rather than simply power ups for the trapped monster state he was always in. > Heizen's flavored leaving the mansion with a portal. > Ball is now in Nakiya's court for how she wants to handle his departure whether that day or later on in that week. For after that he is not voluntarily coming to her mansion unless summoned.
The rage that filled the Demon Queen's heart was so intense that anything her flames touched would instantly burn, their flesh feeling backwards from the heat as the fire scorched at the very blood vessels underneath. So intense that to a regular Demon their flesh would melt off of their very bones! Even as Heizen fell to his knees and soon fell unconscious on the floor, her rage did not stop. This form, and Heizen's words had done more than struck a chord... they recited an entire orchestra of memories and fears.
The cry of anguish that escaped Nakiya's lips sounded desperate as her clawed hands flew up to her head as she could see the memories of the past reliving themselves as if she was right there once more. This time however, she was the darkness she had always felt creeping over her shoulder as a child.
"Father... when is it my turn to learn the Royal Demon Arts? Trase already knows it... it's not fair." A small form of Nakiya would whine, dressed in nothing but a plain white gown, her right eye covered by a medical patch. This small girl had the shortest horns perched atop her head which was the only true sign of her being a Demon at all. Her attire would lead anyone to believe she was a low class Demon from the streets, however when she was young Nakiya was always sick, and so rarely got to wear the fine clothes that would befit a princess. Her father, then the Overlord of Makai, would place his hand atop his daughters head, though would never look down to her, instead his focus remaining on his son, across the training room training his abilities with the Kings Guard.
"In due time Nakiya, you're much too frail to learn this now. Perhaps when you turn 50, I will teach you these skills. If your health isn't improved by then..." Nakiya would frown at her fathers words, tears welling up in the small Demons eyes as she knew exactly where his sentence was going. Her own father had given up on her... he didn't want to waste his time teaching her these techniques or to teach her anything because he just assumed that she would die long before she had the opportunity to use them. Unlike her brother, Nakiya was born with very little power and was lucky to still be alive today... She was never meant to be born alongside her brother... a mistake that would in time, fade away.
You could see the small girl trying hard not to cry, biting her lower lip as so many emotions coursed through her. She felt abandoned, hated, desperate and fearful... fearful of the death that would claim her and that no one would be there to say goodbye...
That had been the trigger, the one thing that set Nakiya on her course to becoming a scientist. The Demon's that treated her sicknesses would do just that, treat the sicknesses as they came. Never would any of them go out of their way to find out what would cure her, and what would save her life. From a very young age, Nakiya had shut herself off, cutting any emotional attachment she had to family, refusing to make any friends at all. She would regularly frequent her fathers library where she would study old magics. Through those old tomes, Nakiya acquired the necessary abilities she needed to create a portal to the mortal realm, a feat that hadn't been done in quite some time back then.
She would find herself on Vegeta, in the old ruins where her Demonic physiology made it easier for her to survive the radiation. She would discover hidden ruins and labs once owned by the tuffles that were now so many centuries old. Slowly but surely she would learn more and more until she managed to make planet Vegeta her own, abandoning Makai for many years. Honestly, she was sure that her father just assumed she died and that the doctors caring for her got rid of her body to give the Overlord some peace... She didn't care though, she had shut herself out.
Since then, many things had happened that pushed the Demoness further and further into the darkness. At the age of 13 she was somehow summoned by a human blood mage, called from planet Vegeta to planet Earth. She was completely dumb struck by this act, insulted and angry that anyone would dare try to summon someone of royal blood! Though, seeing as Nakiya was still rather frail she was seen as nothing more than an object of pleasure for the mage that called on her. Even at such a young age she was made to do many humiliating acts with the man, forces to please him as she was kept under his seal. It wasn't until the day the mage was caught and killed by a woman known as "Kami" here on Earth that Nakiya would find her freedom by the age of 16. After that, Nakiya would quickly flee back to the Demon Realm, where the barrier was much stronger and she would never be summoned in such a horrible way again.
When she returned, her father had passed, and her brother was the one who now held the title of Overlord. She would slowly start trying to fit into her role as princess once more after having developed a drug to ease her critical condition. In those years she would find herself a fiance, have a daughter with him before they were even married and the story of Nakiya would continue...
All of those emotions, those fears that she had suppressed were bubbling up to the surface and the Demon Queen found herself in tears. She would transform back from her Makaioshin form, leaving Heizen where he had fallen and secluding herself to a corner of the room. Her dragon like wings would appear, folding themselves in front of her and cocooning herself as she just sat in the corner, hands against her head as she felt forced to confront all of those things she still didn't feel ready to... but Heizen... he had brought it to the surface, and he was right... she needed to be strong for the Demon Realm now... these emotions needed to be dealt with, but she couldn't do it alone...
She was hardly aware of the hours that passed as she sat there, cocooned in a daze. As Heizen awoke from his painful slumber and pushed his thoughts into her mind, she would gasp as she was forced to snap out of it. She blinked repeatedly as it took her a moment to make sense of the words that were put into her mind. She wouldn't have to worry about him anymore? Her wings would open up, revealing a rather emotionally broken Demon Queen to stare as a red haired man would walk through the dark portal and leave her there alone...
The Next Day Vulpeca would find himself at the gates of Heizen's mansion, looking up past the guards as he waited to be let in...

Heizen had nothing to say to the Queen after he made his departure. He didn’t even notice her despair as he walked out weakly from the Royal Palace. Thanks to her.. He had seen quite enough himself. He didn’t care about anyone else right now. Thanks to her the pain… the agony… the anger.. The suffering he had endured had been completely relived. He had felt the worst moments of his life all over again in vivid detail. He was angry. He was raging. He wanted something to kill. Thankfully… he kept prisoners in his dungeon for this very reason. Prisoners from many of Morto’s raids across decades. Prisoners of Demons who had crossed Mortos and later Heizen when he first came to power. Prisoners who became victims of the worst tortures and cruelty when Heizen was in one of these moods. They satisfied his violent urges to keep him from murdering any of his allies or friends.
In Morto’s Mansion - screams would echo from Heizen as the Jackal Demon found himself in one of the most foul moods of his existence. He did not sleep, he did not eat as the hours passed by. And with that he made sure his prisoners felt this as well, as he upped the torture. Some were hung by their entrails, others simply lost their heads. Some were left to bleed out for hours, while others were branded with various marks with hot steel. There were these and more. A total of twelve victims were counted in the dungeons from the aftermath of Heizen’s temper tantrum. Even while given flesh and made into a more humane appearance… he was still a monster on the inside. The monster that they had all created. That they had groomed him to be. Even when he tried to help others all they did was anger him further, turn against him. It had happened first with Suusao, and now here once again it had happened with Nakiya.
He was done helping others. If anyone was going to be granted power.. He was going to grant it to himself. If his focus was going to be on anyone’s development, it would be his own. If the Saiyans came knocking down their door he would do his best to ward them off himself. Heizen did not yet know it.. But this was his fall into depravity. His ki flickering black for the briefest of moments as he wallowed in the hatred and anger of his emotions.
This was the beginning of his low point…. His fall from grace… In Heizen’s mansion the guards did their usual duty. They stood by and waited for Lord Heizen’s permission before letting anyone in. Unless it was the Queen herself - they were not to let anyone in without his say. Otherwise they would find themselves in the very Palace dungeons that they also guarded. When the General stopped by… they watched as the Fox Demon called on his friend to be given entry. Normally Heizen would immediately laugh, reply, and let the Fox Demon in for a wondrous time.
But he was in no better a mood now than he had before. The Red Haired Demon growled as the Fox Demon dared to come this soon, when it was clear that he was not to be disturbed by anyone. Vulpeca would find himself waiting for a few minutes as Heizen walked down the corridor of his chambers, through the set of hallways, down the lobby stairs and through the main entrance towards the Gates.

When he walked out… the first thing about himself that the General might have noticed was his black sclera and glowing red irises… a black aura surrounding the Demon as he stared at him with an glare. Anyone could tell his mood from his expression. “What do you want, General? Surely you can grasp that I do not want to be disturbed right now!” the Demon Lord said as sharp winds filled with enormous pressure. It was clear since mastering his energy that Heizen was on a whole new level now. Even without accessing his True Form… he still had more than enough power to contend with Vulpeca alone. He had not only closed the gap between the two, but shifted it entirely in his favor. Even Vulpeca and Aya working together were no match for him. Heizen had become the second strongest living Demon in all of Makai. Aside from Nakiya herself… there was no one who could challenge him in this realm.
And he intended to close that gap very soon. At any cost. Staring at Vulpeca he waited for the Fox Demon’s answer. Their friendship would not spare him from the Demon Lord’s wrath should the answer anger him.
