As they had flown away, Ash had only held a constant knowing smirk as she ventured off from the coming battle, the mortal in her grasp as she continuously flew outward from the city. Even as she gazed down for her optical sensors to watch the mortal calmly waiting in her grasp. So easy it would be to just crush them here and now, to end the battle with not even a scratch. Not even in sheer power, but simply in physics itself. If she were to merely place any of her weight down at full strength such force, well logic dictated already what was to happen. What more did she truly need to elaborate upon such.
It was as they arrived to her designated location, the city itself visible miles away, far enough however for the decay of the land to easily be seen. The death it reeked, the sickness. Maybe not so much smell wise, but by sight alone it was clear to see the poison in the land. She missed the blue of this world, the green freshly arisen with the spring months. It was all gone now. None of it left. The only hope to restore such a beauty to the universe once more was to go along with the demons’ plans. Even if she held her own variances towards it. Was this…. was this how they had truly chosen to live throughout? A strange, almost faint whisper into her mind was the first to speak to her. ‘You miss this world, we miss this world. Our hope is faint and without a clear light to see.’, the words flowed in her mind, separate from her own. The fragment in the very back of her neck knew the truth of this. Her own main mind was slow to adapt to such though. As much as she hated the mortals, she couldn’t help but remember when she was once one as well. She remembered her cold blood stream warming up under a bright blue sun. The world couldn’t exist with the simple mortal mind, it had to expand. An option that left only two, to destroy all mortals, or to have them join her. This galaxy, this universe had its own right to life. A life the mortals were taking for granted.
Slowly she came to land towards the ground, releasing the mortal softly as to avoid harming her too much. As she would herself land fully on the ground, cracking from her sheer weight as she sat, turning her head downward towards the mortals. “I suppose we should start this off with a fair warning and a truth.”, She would say as her chest began to split in two as it opened up only slightly, a dark purple energy core resting inside, energy shooting from it within its concealed chamber. “If you hold any scientific knowledge, then you should know this is an Antimatter Zero Point Reactor. In essence, its my heart.”, she would full well admit, a weak spot she knew of yes, but a strength as well. “I love this planet, at least, what it once was. The beauty of its land now lost. I also fear death itself for what judgement awaits me in the unknown. However, if worst comes to worse, I would like you to know as a fair warning, I will overload my heart and cause this reactor to fail. Surely you understand what happens when an atomic reactor goes critical. Boosted as well with my own power, we both know this planet could not survive such a blast. I do not agree with the demons, I am not even part of their group officially, however, they are my only way to see this world restored. So I ask you, what is the value of a mortal’s life, to a planet with time still to grow?”

Shiomi's eyes would go a bit blank as she looked at the world that she had tried her best to protect. So much of it was a mess at this point... and it hurt inside to see what became of it. Earth used to be so beautiful, what happened to it? She would bite her lips a bit, drawing a small bit of blood as she would just sit there and wait for the massive dragon to place her down, stumbling a bit before shaking her head as she would look back up towards it, her aura dispersing as she was already too far away to go on the offensive to others as well, she may as well conserve energy by going back to her basic form.
She would stare up towards its massive figure with more solemn eyes, trying her best to wait for it to finish speaking before she would respond herself. It seemed that it too loved Earth like many others did. It wasn't fair for it to be in this state... no wonder it got to this point. She would slowly shake her head as it spoke of its reactor, not knowing the specifics of what a reactor like that could do. However, she knew enough about reactors as a whole to know that one going nuclear and exploding was good for nobody. Let alone one that was powered by a massive android figure such as this.
The Dragon's question would make Shiomi look down a bit, not really knowing an official answer, and rather just what she believed. "We all love this planet... perhaps we love it a bit too much, and that is why others hurt it. Mortals are jealous creatures who want to take what they don't have if it's better than what they do. That isn't specific to just us who live on this planet, though. Countless other races go through the same cycles of destruction and hatred, and nobody is safe from it." her arms would shake a bit as she would stare out at the blighted areas of Earth from where they were at. This wasn't from Earthlings... other's scarred the beautiful planet, not them. Even if the Earthlings weren't a perfect race, they kept the Earth well enough alive to thrive in its conditions until those from distant planets arrived.
But, she knew that didn't mean that they should be thrown out. The actions of the few do not represent the quiet many, and while some of the stronger races in the universe fought to scar the planet time and time again, they weren't unsalvagable. Just like the planet. "You can't put a value on any one life... each individual life needs to be represented by its very own merits. Even if some people do horrible things and mistreat each other, cause wars, suffering. That doesn't mean a race as a whole deserves senseless slaughter. Like the planet itself, we Earthlings have room to grow. Even if we as a race can tend to be hateful and xenophobic, that doesn't mean we have to be forever. We can learn to accept change, it has happened time and time again throughout the years." her fists would clench again as she would turn back to look at the massive metallic dragon, not feeling the need to look away from it any longer.
"All mortals deserve the chance to change, for the better. Even if it's a massive struggle, even if we are troublesome at times, we don't deserve to be scraped away like trash. We love this planet, and we cherish its life. And we definitely didn't cause... this!" she would gesture her arms towards all of the blight, her eyes moving back towards it all as she scowled. "Not a single one of us has disgraced this land enough to poison it like this. While we may not be perfect... we all want our beautiful planet back and would love to do anything we can to get it back. But we don't... we don't have to be slaughtered to get it done. If the demons can truly make this wish come true, to restore the beauty of our planet, it can be done without any more bloodshed. We've already been driven to the edge of extinction... we don't need to make our lives even more meaningless by killing us all just to bring us back." her piercing red eyes would dart back towards the draconic figure, panting a bit from her long-winded talking.
She didn't really know what else to say about this all just yet... but she was passionate about this. Maybe it was biased as an Earthling, but she knew that they didn't deserve to go extinct over this, they were already beaten into the ground enough. "But... to go back to your original question, I don't know the value of a human life. It's impossible to play god and deem a value to one another, but I think every life should be cherished and nurtured till it understands the best way to go about through life. Maybe you don't consider yourself to be a mortal... but even you have a life to live, decisions to make. That is why you are here now, no? Based off of decisions you have made for yourself, working off of what you can consider a heart and mind? You love this planet like any other mortal does, and you have every right to want it to go back to the way it was, to see its beauty all over again. But this...? This isn't how it should be." her arms would finally move up and clutch at themselves, bringing her hands to her chest as she would look down towards the ground.
"Maybe it isn't right of me to ask this of you... I know I might just seem like some useless mortal who is meaningless in your eyes. But I beg of you... make them stop fighting. I don't ask you to assist the Earthlings... that isn't my goal here. Both sides deserve life... I just want them to stop and be able to end it all here. My first true love was a Demon... and I'd never forsake him or his people, or my own son for that matter, by saying that demons deserve even a drop of blood spilled on this already scarred land because we have to disagree." she would finally look up at the massive dragon with tears in her eyes after saying this. She meant every single word here... her stake in this was no longer saving the last earthlings who were alive, she wanted to pay back her one love for everything he made her feel, for giving her a family. She just wanted that back... [Shiomi: 291,392] [Shiomi deactivated her transformation and began to make her plea] Stamina: 4/4

“All around the known universe, mortals cause pain, hatred, and sickness upon one another and even then, to the homes of their own or those of others.”, Ash would begin as she would gaze upon the dead earth. “You are right in one such ways, all mortals go through this path of self-destruction. However, even before this world received visitors, your earth logs have already deteriorated the earth’s life as on a downward turn as you mortals began to overwhelm it more and more, too much for what the planet could support. You were still killing this beauty of a planet.”, she would fare well to mention as she continued her gaze outwards, her scanners picking up the farther parts behind her, back in the city of the fighting as it had begun to start.
As Shiomi began to explain her own examples, her own preference to her own stories, there was a slight path Ash could only laugh towards. “You can’t put a value on any life you say? Was that what the Saiyan said? The Brenchians said? What the Kold Demons said? What the humans even said to their own.”, She would say with only a gruff noise, bad memories only being remembered from such. “Maybe you believe that a value can’t be placed on a life, but many others of your kind can. You’ve done it before, and you still do such today. Your race hasn’t ever accepted change, they’ve only moved it towards some other direction. Every step your kind, no, all mortals, have made towards making a smart artificial intelligence, do you know what they do? They take ten steps back and destroy the A.I. afraid of what I wonder? That we would see our creators as flawed? That we would see the sins they have created and tasked us to fix? All of us were unique enough we could be considered easily as separate races. Your mortals commit such genocide nearly monthly to those like myself.”, her voice would simply resound as she began to stare down the tiny figure before her.
“I will say, I did give you mortals multiple chances, more than I should have, but some part of the mortal I was is still in me. I once indeed was mortal like you and the others with a terrible condition. Much like the corrupted form the Saiyans could gain, by unfortunate star alignment I was born with the same form. I lived on earth trying to keep such urges down. Eventually I ventured out to my father’s home world, Planet Brench. Not moments after was I strapped down, captured, tortured…I can’t remember when I fell asleep, but when I had awoken, my tail had been made metal. I was kept down there for so long I had forgotten what day or night even looked like. One day in my cryogenic sleep I had awoken to it’s opening by a saiyan’s face. The Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. One’s that had renewed my hope at my first thought. I had though that I was finally free, that I could go back to my…life….no because I was part brenchian, I was made a slave as they took over that planet. A slave to their queen for she was the only one capable at the time of controlling my power. I was constantly frozen and unfrozen. A machine mind does not freeze in such, imagine it as a perpetual hell, not able to move a single finger. One day I had broken free. I had escaped back to one of the place I thought was still home. Earth. In its old bright green, blue, colors. The moment I arrived, I was called a monster, I was threatened with death, I sought the help of the Saiyan Alliance leader to help me free my people. I was told he would never help, that I was a…freak.”, she would say as her memory brought back those painful moments. If she had eyes, there would have been some tears possibly. “I had given mortals plenty of chances, I burned the Planet Saiya to ash. One day it would’ve gained life again in the future. However, the demons took it a step further and destroyed it. Consider it a blessing even demons are so willing to bring you mortals back, if I had been in charge there would not have even been such a chance. I would’ve have just let the earth be restored and see what new generation takes it place as the dominant species of the planet. A new generation to be born. One to rise where the past has failed. That was something you mortals even wrote of on this planet was it not? I will at least keep my promise, I will stop the fighting... one way or another.”

The woman's hands would clench a bit in anger as the dragon spoke to her, this was a battle of the stronger opinion, of course, there was no right answer between the two of them. She'd shake her head, having the tears flow off of her face more before wiping them away, glaring up at the massive metallic beast. "You can't just... trust logs like that without really seeing what it was like. Do you believe everything you can see with those eyes of yours? It may be recorded in history... but history is just a bunch of people recording what they believed, not what is true." she'd huff a bit as she would just shake her head again. History... was all just one big chain of victors rewriting it to fit their needs, and throwing out their opinions onto the page. Could any one person really trust what was on those pages or in those logs, could they even trust the 'science' behind what the people thought was true?
"Despite all of that... even if we were killing the planet. You've been around long enough to see how beautiful this planet was, it WAS beautiful... and even I was alive long enough to see it. This planet has been alive for many more lifetimes than I have ever been around for, and it is still just as beautiful as people have recorded it in the past. We didn't turn this place into what it is today, we'd never let it get to... THIS... without trying to nurture it again." she'd once more use her hands to reference the barren landscape. In the many wars humans fought... these places covered in destruction would eventually be restored, and thrive once more with life. Maybe it was slowly destroying the planet, it wasn't for any one person to say if that was true or not. But it never got this bad.
The woman would bite her lip a little bit as the dragon continued to speak. "You didn't ask me what others said... you asked me directly what a value of a mortal's life was. And that's the problem with things like this. If you ask any one person, you're going to get a different answer... my value for any one person's life is going to vary compared to one of those Demon's over there wanting to kill us all and bring us back. So yes, maybe others do... but you asked me what the value of a life is, and I won't change my answer just cause you bring up what a vast minority that speaks louder than the rest believes in." she would look at the ground, hating that the sins of the few were being placed on everyone.
"If you want what I really believe in response to that... it is that I think it's horrible that your people are treated like that and have such atrocities committed. But I ask that you don't speak about it like it's the majority committing such crimes. Hardly any of us have anything to do with it... let alone know about it. You should be angry at those people trying to shut you out and destroy you, not everyone for something they couldn't help or even know about. Just because the majority of us are fools who don't know the truth because the minority hide it from us, don't blow us away like we're dust over something like that, help show us that we were wrong and that the minority lied to us." she'd fold her arms over a bit, thinking over everything she had learned within her long but still brief life. Her race never accepted change? That wasn't true... so much change had come and gone over the course of so many years... so many unique things had happened and changed the world, for better or for worse. While some changes were harder due to media and governmental issues, it was wrong that people didn't accept change, just everything tried its best to make the potential changes seem like the worst possible thing ever, with nobody even trying to change those ideas without resorting to violence first, that wasn't even a fault of just mortals.
However, this conversation would be turned on its head as the massive dragon started telling a bit of its story... its sad, painful story. The story of someone who didn't deserve anything they got... and was turned down time, and time, and time again when they looked for help. Tears would well up in the woman's face now as she would collapse onto her knee's. It was such a horrible turn of events... she felt so horribly for the poor being there, but even then she couldn't say that any of this was right, she wouldn't just let her people be slaughtered for such reasons. But she still needed to address the massive creatures pass. "You've dealt with so much hardship... I understand why you feel the way you do now. Such things would push anybody over the edge. But I've known people who've tried to fit in with the people around them... the people living where they considered home just to be called a monster. And everywhere you turned... just met you with more and more denial. Who threatened you with such things... if I may know...?" her voice would crack a bit as she didn't really know how to talk to such a wounded person much further about such a horrible past. "But, if you don't want to think about it further... disregard it. I don't want you to be more uncomfortable." she would slowly shake her head again, wanting to get to the point either way.
"You're such a beautiful being... albeit you know how to intimidate someone with that reactor of yours. But to call you a freak... is such a horrible thing to do. I know your views of mortals are entirely torn apart now... if only I had met you sooner... I would have done everything I could to take you in and protect you from such things." the woman's hands would clench into fits again, dragging some dirt with her fingers as she did so. She had done the same for her own son... his demonic blood was constantly berated and seen as a scar, but she still loved every last bit of him and wouldn't trade him in for anything in the world. She wished she could have gotten to this android sooner to do the same for her.
"I know I uh... probably won't be able to convince you either way... but if I somehow get you to spare everyone, and to get the fighting to stop. I'd like if you stayed with me. Maybe that sounds absurd, though. Considering I'll probably be dead by the end of this anyway." she'd let out a bit of a sigh, finally able to get such a thing off of her chest, she wanted the draconic android to know that she'd make an attempt to try and help her... to give her a new hope. Everything else just sounded so horrible otherwise. But the woman would finally regard the rest the android had to note on, shaking her head again.
"I don't know. I have no clue what people wrote of in the past... but history is such a mess, I don't know what to believe as true or false. If all life was scoured from this planet, would it be able to be restored? I have no idea... I won't tell you if that's true or just science trying to believe its true." she'd chuckle a little bit as she realized she was trying to talk semantics here about history to something that could probably compute billions of probabilities faster than the woman could even remember if she bought bread at the store any time in recent memory. "I'm so sorry that every time you've given people a chance... they have turned on you and made you wish such destruction upon them all. Perhaps I can not convince you any further... but I hope you can see past all of that, and try your best to make them change their ways without such a cleansing process. This planet could return to its beauty... with both you and them all living on it." the woman still wanted to believe that all of these accusations were just the minority here. While many people were very rough when it came to change, there were so many more people than they could ever meet, not every single one would think in such a horrible way... she herself was an example of that, she couldn't be unique, right? Was she just an outlier on a consistent graph? She didn't want to believe that... she wanted to believe that everyone else was just unlucky with who they ran in with.

As she listened to the words of the small one, she glanced around. How could she deny that piece of a mortal inside of her, the soul of herself, the part she tried to deny what it spoke sometimes? However, that part of that looked into that mirror inside, she saw how she once looked, her slick, blackened, clean serpent tail, stretching the ground like an anaconda. She missed it, there was no denying it, but when one passed such points of no return. How could she try to only restore the past? There was not much else she could truly do here…now was there. That left only so few other choices. This emotion wasn’t fit for a machine, but she was never fully machine. Physically maybe, but mentally the scans never denied it, she was still there. Conflicted feelings, that was all that coursed through her. The mortal that was her was still in that mind, no matter how much she tried to augment herself, no matter how much she tried to hide. It never left.
It was like a gaping pain that rested inside of her, a pain that refused to close, a pain that would never scar, a permanent pain. Even at the base of her mind, she could feel the missing piece where she had separated her sadness from herself temporarily, a fracturing. She was aging as technology, there was no denial of such. Her mortal mind couldn’t keep itself as contained as it did. She was scared, what would happen at that point, once her mind would fracture completely, what was the next step of evolution after such? “You’re, … a respectable mortal, if only more of your kind could have been like you, in another world, in another time, maybe, things could’ve been different. In this world, as it is, in this time of now. I don’t know of the possibilities anymore. You remind me so much of another mortal, a beautiful spark in the darkness, her flame lighting some warmth for my soul to be where it is now. Maybe after all of this, I can try to visit her again. If I can find her…”, she would say with a mortal sign of her, a sigh, there was no need mechanically for her too, but still, it had arrived. There was too much for her processors to handle all of here, unknown errors popping up for her, something her core frame couldn’t identify, but something her mortal mind could, her emotions. Physically she showed pain once more as she cringed, mentally she felt it happening again, she felt the familiar pain as a new emotion began to fracture once more into a separate being in her mind. ‘Hello?’, the voice in her mind spoke, a newborn artificial intelligence, ‘Another piece of us separated, how many more to go?’, Sadness has spoken in her mind, a third voice there now was inside of her, but yet she knew something that would have to be done.
As Ash listened to the conversations of the two AI fracture in her head, similar to voices in one’s mind, her scanners went haywire as they detected the massive power in the distance. It was too late now to consider the mortal’s request. “One of those beings who hurt me was the Saiyans of both alliances. That power in the distance, it’s too late for me to stop this destruction, too late for me to ensure another means. I can’t let you go back to them, I can’t let you help the others. I’m sorry. There is one thing I can do, but whether you will like it, I am not too sure of. I want you to keep this, however,” She would say at first as a chip launched out of her towards the female. “You are unlike any other mortal I have met, you triggered a new emotion to fracture of my personality. This is that emotion I have ejected, if it’s destroyed, a part of myself as well will die. A part that could possibly never return. That now in your hands, is my emotion named Hope. I’m sorry, for what I must do this day, you are far more honorable than others, in ways, I wish you hadn’t been born into that mortal body.” She would say as once the chip was kept safe by the female, she would begin her assault, she couldn’t afford to let them escape to their friends. Not if she wanted to keep one mortal alive at least. It was swift but sudden, a quick back swipe with her tail as she attempted to knock them off their feet. Her speed even if weaker than the other power, was nothing to joke about.
WC: 812 Launched a Melee Attack for 20% of PL - 1,215,655 PL in speed and attack - Ash had given Shiomi essentially a piece of her soul to keep safe

Shiomi would just stare up at the massive dragon as it spoke more, the words it spoke were so much more kind... far kinder than before when it came to her. It could be the start of something new, perhaps a change that could lead them towards a better outcome. Shiomi would smile softly up at the massive robot, as it said she reminded it of someone else. Someone that it wished to visit again. "I wish you good luck in finding her, I hope that someday you may be reunited." the woman would look a bit sad as the massive draconic creature would seem so torn even physically about all of this being said. But she couldn't help but feel that such a reaction meant that progress was being made.
However, that was when a massive power would enter into the area, with another sparking up soon afterward. It was pure insanity... but one of them felt oh so familiar. It was almost like she knew this power from a previous meeting. Shiomi's fists would clench a bit, seeing how greatly outmatched everything seemed. Even if she found some way to get this fixed up here... it was probably far too late. The woman would slowly look up towards the draconic body that was speaking to her, not really being able to process its words before the chip would launch out, the woman very carefully catching it and clutching it to her chest for a second, before making sure to secure it as best as she could.
"I... I see. I'll make sure to keep it safe no matter what. Your Hope will be kept as near and dear to me as possible. But... what do you mean?" the woman would look up at the draconic form, her mind barely being able to go back in the conversation to think over what the massive android had said before. Couldn't let her go back to them? Help them? And most of all that she was sorry... her eyes would open wide as it all dawned on her and caught up with her at the last possible second.
She couldn't sense the android in any way, its power was nonexistent to her mind and so she was far too open. Shiomi learned far too late that she should have maintained her transformation this entire time, rather than going the more passive route with her power. The words carried enough meaning, but the surprise attack gave Shiomi only a brief moment to put up her arms, not even leaving her the split second to transform before she was knocked to the ground, collapsing and consciousness slowly fading from her. Her chance to block the attack while enough to negate a partial bit of it, didn't do nearly enough to give Shiomi the chance she needed to stay in the fight. The woman was still in her base form as this happened, her body recoiling from the pain of the tail swipe as she would just be forced to let the darkness of unconsciousness sweep over her. 4 Stamina Block (10%): 29,139 vs 1,215,655 leaving 1,186,516 overflow into Shiomi due to her not having time to properly transform. This is enough to immediately put the woman out of commission and even kill her if the intent was there! Shiomi is down

It was a strange feeling as she slammed her tail upon the woman. Somewhere inside of her she felt, guilt, she felt regret. She knew this was to be the best option however, how could she possibly deny the feelings that were brought back inside of her. This woman had done something strange to her, something she still hadn’t been able to feel for so long now. A feeling that was warm within her heart. A feeling, she couldn’t bare to lose now. The powers of the queen of demons were on this planet now. Everyone on this planet would die, while she wanted the majority to burn she knew some truth, if she let this woman die, would she ever get to speak with them again? The real Shiomi? Death was so foreign, so strange to her, it was something she always feared the approach of. It was unknown to her, and she hated that the most. The feeling of not knowing. She freed herself from the grasp of death, but that of another was still not known. She scanned with her scanners, trying to find some sign that she could give one person at least freedom from this planet. It was faint, hiding within the atmosphere, but she sensed the power that were there. There was no way she would get past the demons however if they sensed the female leaving the atmosphere.
As Ash looked back down to the body before her, she sighed, knowing there was only one last chance. As she etched down she placed the flat of her claw down on the being, soft enough to not cut her, but enough for her plan. The hiss escaped the air as the cooling units popped out, and she began to bring in that delicious energy.
-5 Minutes Earlier-
‘So you’re the newest fragment to join us. I think I will name you Hope, that is the part of me you are? Is it not?’ Ash would speak simply in her core mind within the other fragments. This place was becoming quite the hub now with two separate personalities. ‘Yes, I do come from our hope, I know our dreams, our goals, our desires. I will never give up on them, and you should never as well, even if you are to do what I know were planning.’, Hope would begin to say inside the core as Ash would mentally nod. ‘Good, then do your best to keep her safe. I trust you to never give it up. You know what to do if she is ever in danger.’
-Present Time-
The process was done, her scanners could only scan the bare minimal of power radiating from the human female. She could feel her own strength rising as well, this power was overflowing, and now she would use it to make sure she survived to see the next day. Like hell would she ever let herself die so easily to another. Things were different now, she had someone she needed to keep safe after all.
