"I'd sooner beg the bug to take me, forest-midget." Hasenya griped back at Lamashtu, though her drunken state prevented her from hiding the bright red that filled most of her face. Though despite being hindered, she couldn't help but to raise a brow at Lamashtu's words about Earthlings. "On my top ten list of the most harmless and 'not worth decimating' races in the universe, Earthling and Namekian reach the top, Lamashtu. If this species doesn't survive and reach it's potential, we'll all be under the boots of Demons and Saiyans within the next couple of hundred years. Though that does give me a few ideas for our new buddies diet.." She looked over at Cytos, with her own delighted grin plastered on her face. This one didn't hold questionable intent, though. Unless you were a demon enthusiast."You think the lil' bastard would be able to eat demons? I bet that'd give it a better power boost than any weak Earthling. Hell, we might not have to feed it as often if we try out other species that still need a good.. weed whacking, for lack of better wording."
Hasenya enjoyed the idea very much. Turning Cytos into a demon slaying machine would be positively wonderful. Not all demons were bad, so to say, but the portion of their population doing all these invasions and working from the shadows.. She would love nothing more than to give them some good old fashioned payback. She looked back to Lamashtu, folding her arms. "I bet it'll get stronger like any other person with Ki if we just give it some training, yeah? Not sure how to teach something that moves on all-fours, but.. I'm sure you know a thing or two, wild-woman."
"That's the idea," the diminutive little wildling muttered. The idea of a creature like this, as strong as it was, as an ally in her demon-hunting, definitely appealed to her. It resembled, she thought, a member of the Dynastinae family of insects, but somehow she thought that their usual diet of dead and rotting wood probably wouldn't do for it. If it was hunting down Earthlings, and it was artificial, then it was probably designed either as a weapon or a form of sentient-population-control, and she could take advantage either way.
She turned back to the insect, a warm smile blossoming and replacing the previous sinister grin.
"Alright. So, you obviously can't keep running around and killing people willy-nilly. That would attract some... unwanted attention. There are forces out there, forces far far stronger than any of the three of us. Eventually, I plan on taking these forces down. They've done me a great wrong," she murmured quietly, eyes downcast. She's really playing up the pitiful nice-girl routine.
"And I would see them dead for it." Okay, maybe not.
"So my offer. Join us, wander with us, train with us. We'll ensure you don't go hungry. And in exchange, fight with us. Help us take this planet from those who would try and claim it for their own." She smiles again, a little fiercer.
'Demons? I remember that Doctor Carmine programmed some information about the tales of Demons, but to think they actually exist... If thats the case then maybe that is the cause of Father's strange dissapearance.' Cytos thought to himself, as he overheard the two of them talking about the shift in his new dietary habits.
Cytos became rather curious about how filling demon energy was, as he listened to them a bit more, while he began to ponder himself. 'If demons are even slightly more filling that the energy than even these two then that could speed up the process of my evolution. ' His digits began to tap into the sand, as he began to chirp a bit deviously, the noises sounded like laughter rather than the incoherent guttural noises of an insect.
Once listening to Ashlynn's words about stronger foes more thoughts began flying through Cyto's mind, 'Hmmm she is right about attracting unwanted attention, and there are people stronger? That Seems terrifying... yet exciting in a way.' For some reason the living life on the edge life style was growing a bit on him; However, he knew that if kept at it, it would get him killed sooner rather than later. 'Well I suppose that settles it, I'll join these two.' He thought to himself as he tapped his right claw for confirmation.
"Well, guess that's settled then. I didn't expect it to all end without a fight.. Probably better that way, ya cigarette snatchin' hobgoblin." Hasenya shrugged, and then simply let herself flop back again. Curse that damned hellspawn of a mixture, and damn the price of cigarettes. But hey, it was a fair price to pay to have a bug that would grow to see demons as an 'all you can eat buffet, take our Demon Queen challenge now and your entire meal is free!' That thought was incredibly amusing, and made for a pretty great motivator. Only thing she was motivated to be doing right now though was getting all that alcohol out of her system so she would stop being so dizzy. "That's another bullet in the chamber for the biggest, baddest demon we fine, Lam. I think now that we're a group of three, I'll have to make the preparations for somethin' a lil' special.. When I'm not smashed as fuck." Hasenya belched again, letting out yet another small gout of flame from between her lips. Alcohol-fueled fire Elemi burps were pretty amusing in her drunken state, so she followed that with a little giggle.
"Might help keep the lil' buggers diet nice and full of variety, more reason to be bringing it out.. Still later though, fuck that lil' canteen thingiemahjigger you brought with you."
"You're the idiot who drank the whole thing. I meant for you to take a swig. Which I would've told you if I hadn't sensed the big guy here." She jerked her thumb in Cytos's general direction, before sighing and pushing herself to her feet. She brushes herself off, the dusty earth of the wastes clinging to her legs. She reached behind her, into the top pocket of her pack, and pulled out a chunk of the dinosaur jerky the woman had prepared when she'd met Hasenya, popping it in her mouth and chewing.
"And I don't expect him to do all the work taking them out. I'm not gonna sit back and let him have all the fun. I'm no pushover, even if I've got a long way to go." Strangely, the shorter woman had started putting herself through a rapid series of smooth, fluid stretches, taking the time to ensure each muscle group was limber. "And that stuff's gonna knock you on your ass all day tomorrow if you don't start sweatin' it out. Just waiting it out will work too, but you'll have a nasty hangover. So. With that in mind."
With a somewhat cheeky grin, the scarred woman flicks her right wrist. A thin, rapidly-uncoiling whip of crimson-colored ki blazes to life in her hand, the tip rapidly whistling through the air towards the spot where Hasenya lay!

Cytos began to witness the two women bicker once more, his head tilting off to the side, as he was trying to decipher what exactly what was going on. Despite them coming here together they didn't seem to come across as all to friendly. To Cytos these type of love-hate relationships doesn't really register well in side his mind. 'What are they even arguing about, is our truce already crumbling after a few minutes?' He thought puzzling to himself, as he suddenly saw Ashylnn throw out a firey blaze of ki, at the white haired hybrid. Witnessing the assault in front of him.
'Wh-What!?' He exclaimed, as the beetle chirps in terror. He however didn't exactly want to take part in this fight and backed up quite a ways, as he ever so close reaching closer and closer to the edge. Cytos didn't wan't to exactly leave Ashylnn alone however his concern with the paled skin woman was a lot left to be desired.
When she felt herself struck the inside by Lamashtu's attack, that was the final straw. "You little.. bitch." Hasenya snarled and slowly sat up. She put a hand to her side where she had been struck, nursing only a minor wound that healed itself just a little slower than it had been inflicted, thanks to those weird genes of hers. She didn't reach for Excalibur. Rather, she unbuckled the belt that held the sword to her back as she rose to her feet and then swung a foot back kicking it away. She wanted to use her bare hands for this own, it had been much too long since she had exerted her anger out on another person by whooping them black and blue. Lamashtu had just kept piling on reasons and excuses for her to be that lucky somebody. "I have had just about enough of your fucking shit, you little cunt. I never thought I'd meet a person that could beat my cousin in a 'biggest bitch' contest, but Kais all mighty you've managed to take the gold medal on that three years running, it feels like." The air around the fire Elemi grew around twenty degrees hotter, making for an uncomfortable little bubble of heat but not exactly doing damage.
She braced her arms at her sides, the ends of her hair steadily rising until they burst into flames and lowered back down. Her fists had lit up as well, completely surrounded by thick, raging flames traveling up to her elbows. The grass around her feet caught fire and spread quickly, but rather than start a massive forest fire, Hasenya raised her arms and then lowered them, casting the flames off of her arms to join the flames growing around her. Controlled by the Elemi, the flames around her feet rose to a height that towered over the three creating a wall of scorching heat. "Ya tease me, criticize me, take away my little pleasures and reliefs 'cause it must be funny or some stupid shit, then attack me when I want some payback? I don't know what kind of sick fucking fetish you've got that makes you do it, but after I beat your ass and show you I'm not your bitch I might see some appeal in it." Hasenya couldn't help but smile. Surely, Lamashtu could feel it too. The way her power continued to rise and rise along with the temperature in the surrounding area. She was still pissed off, but when mixed with this odd feeling of euphoria from feeling as if she had gotten some part of her powers back, she was absolutely livid. Throw alcohol on top, and now you've given the angry flame a loose mouth.
Hasenya opened her palms again, inviting the flames she had created to gather in her palms and to accumulate there, steadily growing in both power and in the sheer amount of heat they let off.

The scarred Earthling watched the Elemi stand with a broad grin, her companion's rapidly rising ki exciting Lamashtu. This'd be good for both of them, to work out a little stress, blow off some (metaphorical) steam, and it'd allow Hasenya to burn off the alcohol that much faster and reduce the risk of her having a miserable hangover the next day.
That grin started to drop, however, when Hasenya opened her mouth. As the Elemi spoke, the smile vanished entirely, replaced by a blank, unreadable expression as Lamashtu thought. Hadn't they developed something of camaraderie over the time they've spent together so far? It seems that Lamashtu had let her lack of social graces get the better of her again. Explaining the purpose of the spar a little better before playfully lashing out probably would have served her well, now that she thought of it.
Hindsight's 20/20, no?
Expression still somewhat crestfallen, the Earthling just stepped forward, her movements slow and unhurried. Her bare feet actually sizzle a bit as she steps over the scorched, still-hot earth, though the burns are hardly cause for alarm. Her soles are so calloused that she can barely register the pain. The fires flicker strangely, reflected in her green eye, and she stands directly in front of Hasenya. She reaches up, still so slow, and plops her palm down on the taller girl's head.
"Sorry."
That's it. No snark, no silly accent, just the word. She gently ruffles Hasenya's hair, mindless of the heat, before deliberately turning and exposing her unprotected back to the Elemi, and walking off. She's heading back towards the forest, it would seem. She needs a bit of time to think, if what she considered a simple playful act was enough to piss Hasenya off like that. She pauses and shoots a positively beaming smile back at the still-flickering Elemi.
"I'll be a bit. Keep track of the bug, yeah? Be a shame to lose it so soon after finding it."
She resumes walking, giving a half-hearted wave as she does.
Cytos was surprised at the power the pale skinned miko could exert while hearing her roar. His eyes now widened, as the insect was now terrified, his life was flashing before his eyes, as he witnessed Hasenya gather a great amount of energy between her palms. He thought he could feel the earth beneath them shake, as he knew getting between them would be the end of him.
'I might have to rethink my plans if these two are just going to kill each other right here.'
Cytos then began to clench his claws, as hes body began to tense up. His body ready to hop out of the blast radius at a moments notice because the one thing Cytos knew what to do in this situation was to dodge what ever came flying at him. Although, for some reason the air around Ashlynn began to change for some reason, as though it was melancholy in nature.
'Wait this is no time to be moping about Ashlynn! She's gonna kill us both at this rate!' He thought to himself as he saw her began to gently towards Hasenya before giving her a couple of pats on the head. 'Wait, what!? Shes going to kill you and you're just going to pat her head!?' He wanted to scream, but only his crickets could come out. His lack of ability to speak began to frustrate him, as the whole confrontation baffled him, as the complexity of human emotions seemed to be getting the better of him each second. However, he knew this was no laughing matter, logically no one with blood lust or killing intent would simply change their mood like a flip of a switch, right?
He began to spread his four legs outright, as he aimed himself in attempt to break them up before he suddenly noticed the tiny earthling begin to walk off, 'Wait...wait Ashlynn! You can't leave me hear with this insane person!' He thought to himself, as he attempted to catch up to Lamashtu.
Hasenya stopped, dead in her tracks. Her eyes went wide and her heart sank along with all that fire, quickly dying down into harmless smoke. A sorry was all she would've asked for in a more reasonable headspace, but the way it was delivered left her frozen. It didn't help her feel better at all. Hell, it only made her feel worse just.. Without any of the anger. She felt stiff, and like the wind had just been knocked out of her. Not a single blow had been exchange and yet just like that, she was beat with a pat on the head and a single word. "It's.. fine. Alcohol.." Was all she could really say, her voice dry sounding. It was becoming clear to her that she had overreacted and nearly crossed the line, herself. So many words were racing through her head, all little and big suggestions for things to say and yet trying to say anything was like making her brain fire off blanks repeatedly.
She was usually much better at controlling her rage like that. Sure, she griped, bitched, moaned and even whined like a child. But she never truly followed up on any of her threats, she had a lot of bark but she didn't have nearly enough bite to back that up when it came to people like Lamashtu and Tomina. She couldn't even fall on her ass again, like she had twice during that encounter. She could only stand there, frozen and trying to process thoughts and feelings and failing at both miserably. There was just something about that Earthling that hit all the best and worst places at the same time. Was she just stressed? Or was there something more that she couldn't understand or recognize.
Despite Lamashtu's request, Hasenya didn't even pay mind to the bug trying to escape and cling to it's designated owner. At that point, she couldn't give a single care about it. she just stood there, stiff as a board, looking troubled and surprised. On the upside for Ash, she wasn't about to go wandering off.
She felt rather than saw the pulsating orb of fire and ki that Hasanya had started to collect vanish. What surprised her, however, was how rapidly the quadrupedal insect followed her on her way into the forest. Strange. She didn't think she'd made that much of an impression already; though she supposed she was the preferable alternative to hanging around an emotionally volatile person as powerful as Hasenya. She glanced down at it and laughed a little, ruefully.
"Aa? Don't wanna stick around, eh? That's fine. I'm just... going for a walk. Maybe we can find something for you to snack on while we're out there." She crossed both arms behind her head and kept walking, the pair leaving Hasenya behind for now. The Elemi could either stay there and calm down until they returned, or she'd follow. Either way.
Cytos didn't give much hesitation on leaving Hasenya behind in the distance. He a bit overwhelmed by her power, and she didn't give off a reliable or calm behavior like Lamashtu did, at least not to him anyway.
'Of course I'd choose you over the alternative. At least with you I won't wind up dead due to friendly fire.' He thought to himself his body was now finally now able to relax. The tense emotions and the constant fighting and running has taken a lot out of him, as the sun began to peek out from the horizon.
'Did was an eventful night I suppose... A bit too eventful for someone who was just born I'd say...' He looked behind him a bit, seeing the woman behind them dumbfounded, 'Although I'd say it was rougher on her than it was for me.'
What was there to do now other than just sit there? She could go back to her ship, forget about the day and be gone before Lamashtu could get back. What was the point of this waiting? Where had she gone? There were too many questions, stacked on top of the mountain of others. For all her forbidden knowledge, she just couldn't wrap her head around anything. There was even the possibility that Lamashtu might not come back, and yet disregarding that and being someone who had just said they weren't a bitch, she still didn't budge an inch. Eventually she just sorta sat down. Getting tired standing up was just inevitable, but other than that she was almost as still as a statue if not for the fact she still needed to breath.
It was easiest just so sit and wait, let this long moment of silence be an excuse to just try and process. Whether Lamashtu would come back or not, it didn't matter right now. There wasn't much she could say to the Earthling, and would likely just end up following her around with no chance at any further conversation and just awkward silence. Awkward for Hasenya, anyway. She really wished she had the spirit within Excalibur to give her some advice, right now. But she wouldn't even get that much, in terms of relief.
