Personality: Kiriju isn't as deadly serious as he may seem. In fact, he's quite the opposite and can be a bit of a goofball sometimes. When he gains the upper hand in battle, he tends to let down his guard and let himself be overcome with a bit of overconfidence (this comes in the form of him constantly commenting on his lack of using his fullpower). This is when he is at his most vulnerable, however that does not mean he does not know how to keep his guard up. In more serious situations like a deathmatch or an important sparring session, Kiriju drops his arrogant attitude and becomes more attentive and analytical (though he's still reluctant to go 100%). When anger becomes an issue, he makes sure to try and stay as calm as possible and becomes more lethal than he does wild but, that does not prohibit him from making some stupid decisions when blinded by rage like powering up in offense to injure an opponent that was many times faster from the beginning, making the situation more dangerous for himself.

When it comes to being social, Kiriju is kind of a nervous wreck. He tends to overthink things and trip over his words. Sometimes he even lets statements that he didn't mean to say, slip and when angered, he can forget who he is addressing and let his thoughts run loose which is sure to get him into some trouble when he ends up yelling at the wrong person and saying the wrong thing. Speaking of thoughts, when Kiriju messes up socially, he has a tendency to scream internally or criticize himself harshly in his mind. 

Kiriju values life in all it's forms and is a very forgiving person that only destroys when absolutely necessary, which is ironic since his parents were both trained to destroy for a living. However, he doesn't just give chances left and right, and once his trust has been betrayed enough, he is sure to stop trying with the person who betrayed said trust.
