Personality
A slightly cocky, as well as energetic woman. Serena has a tendency to say what she wants when she wants. Giving little thought or worry to the moment or how it may effect those around her. Several times of course regretting this after.
She enjoys a good fight but when it comes to work or anything to difficult she does often seem to enjoy the easy route or path that implies the less actual work with still ample reward.
Even with her work as a mercenary though and odds and end jobs she tends to often need employment shortly after each other jobs completion. Being rather lax with her spending. Often running her funds dry fast without much planning ahead. Enjoying the finer things of life when the chances usually present themselves.

Backstory
Born to a small family on a small farm near a settlement on namek. Serena grew up in her youngest years without much worry or strife. She knew the peace and tranquility of a peaceful planet for the most part. Even more so the kindness of it's people. A planet of never ending sunshine and cool seas. Her people what few that were there in her family unit able to help search the vast sea for plants to harvest as well as farm that normally the namekians would have difficulty finding themselves.
But as a child grows they often want more from life then just a meager life of peace. While stability always makes one comfortable one often seeks adventure and to forge ones own stories. Her parents had a few tales of the past before they settled here. She herself at a young age when she began to come of age felt the allure to see what was beyond. The places she'd heard of from her parents stories.
In her late teens she took what little money she had and left behind the farm and this calming planet. An while she would return from time to time the lengths of time between those visits kept growing larger and larger with each passing year. She didn't want to live this dull safe life anymore and burned for excitement. A sensation she quickly found herself hooked too.
It wasn't only by chance she managed to link up with a small mercenary group at the beginning. Her people had good mobility under water as well as could thrive and survive there as if on land. Making her good support for anything that required anything done bellow sea levels.
The taste of money and what all that came with the rush of these jobs became like the drug in her veins fueling her often. Riches, excitement, combat... It was a strange thing and even the hard parts that came with such a life also only became easier over the years. It would eventually be to the point no one of the old namekian tribes would even recognize the sweet little fishy girl. When now they'd instead see the one eyed pirate if she ever visited. Her grin not a thing of innocence but something of cryptic desire and hidden meaning.
