Normal Occurrences on Namek (Beat/Sigma ask to join)

...Another human sensed. He know them, he's part of them, of course he's well aware of how their ki felt. This one goes unsuppressed, which honestly make it easier for him to track then. Beat is off duty today, and as such he doesn't wear his Saiyan battlesuit, just a mere scouter visor, his favorite purple tanktop and jeans. The 11 years old half saiyan was practicing a bit of meditation when his Ki sense picked up someone who definitely isn't native of this planet, let alone someone who have sensed before. He can roughly guess what someone is up to by their location. Alien traders usually come to the Saiyan citadels, and some Earthling definitely barred entry... but this one was a bit far from Namekian village which would shelter them.

...He need to check this out though seriously. For now, he doesn't think it worth mentioning it to the base, as this person... doesn't seem to crash land like the other one. He prayed to all thing holy that this one would be far more reasonable than the first one. But this person not crashlanding, so there's little reason to go directly policing them. He'll just act normal, like a normal civilized guy... and he guess he'll ask her what does she want. He cannot offer her much, but at the very least he could be... a decent person or something...

By the way, yes, he has spotted her. If they know some ki sense, it might be a bit... out of it to feel someone with such high power level suddenly approaching, but at this moment Beat doesn't care. It's better to go with full potential shown than going suppressing his power in his... faction base planet. There's so little sense in that. Plus it's handy. It's so he doesn't get... full on treated like a kid of his age.

"'xcuse me ma'am, what are you doing?" he would ask to Sigma. "It's kinda a far place from Namekian village."

"Looking at scenery sounds a bit strange if you ask me," Beat would say. "There's nothing much in Namek. The grass' blue, the sky's green, the water's green, you know the drill.... totally different from our blue planet. Well, what can I say I guess, we're  both here somehow. At any rate, this place is pretty much with very minimum amount of resources. What is it exactly that you're looking around? I mean, as far as I know, even Earth is far more diverse than this planet."

About the remark of not being local, Beat just laughed. "Well, clearly I'm not really, but I belonged to some faction in here. I guess you can call me the police of them, you know." At this point, he let his tail hang loosely, picked it up on his arm and gently swing it like some rope to play. "I think you have seen some of us here? Or you just haven't? Regardless I'm not here to apprehend you or something, just wondering why someone, an Earthling at it goes this far from a Namekian settlement. While Remnant Alliance wouldn't accept you to the citadel, without a doubt you should at least be welcomed in the Namekian villages." 

Still, it's a strange feeling. That thing, is it scanning him? Whatever the case was, Beat wouldn't take action if there's no unwarranted provocation. "That aside though, it's rare to see an Earthling here, so I guess I was rather curious. Name's Beat. I'm a halfling Saiyan, born in Earth."

Whether she know about the planet explosion or not, he have no idea, but at the same time, he know that even if they know, it wouldn't change the fact that he dropped the hint that he's the authority, and all sort of strange incident would be dealt with swiftly.

"What about you, miss? What's your name and what's your business?"

"Scientist... alone?" he would ask, seem to highly doubting this woman, yet at the same time, Beat's expression still remains rather friendly if not innocently questioning. Even so, there's some thing in his tone that sounds like he's doubting something. "If you're a scientist or something, with purpose of trying to publish a book, have you... you know, got the permission from the guru to do that at least? If you did, why did you not have some sort of guard or guide? Although many think that Namek is, you know, safe, there's actually evil Namekians in this planet too you know... the kind that would most likely not accept whatever you're doing here... if it's for personal reason, then I think it's a bit strange to not... you know, decide to get some sort of bodyguard or something..."

Introduction... introduction... ah. "You'll be surprised, I mean, I saw people mostly human around, no one really half or quarter back in Earth. And I mean my mother's full human, so full human ain't that rare really? I think the only halfling in my tribe is pretty much my cousins, me, some friends, and one of our parent are saiyans, pretty much. Most people here are human. Unless of course, I'm hanging in different part of the place! Unless you mean those here that is from earth or something like that..."

...telling him that the bodyguard is somewhere most likely would make him severely doubts her. Either way, he listened to her question this time around. Two can play games at being stupid, except he know if he says this she won't believe in him anyway. "hmmmhmm, I wonder? It could be some device on my person or maybe some form of detection that you might have no idea of~? I dunno, I don't think I want to tell about it~? You're not one of the Saiyans however, that much is a definite thing for me. A Saiyan doesn't have hair like you, their hair are stiff, they have tail... Plus Planet Vegeta is already boom you know? I also know that it's impossible for them to recruit other humans. Their armor design also different enough from the one made by capsule corps. I think it can be common sense if you stay in this planet for a while~"

"No, that wouldn't really makes sense, unless that's what they claim then they falsely claimed so. Namek belongs to the Namekians, and they're green people with two antennaes on their forehead. Have you not seriously met any of them? If not, then..."

...He seriously wonder what on earth would this woman do in that case. To not met any locales, then moving alone like this... it's a bit suspicious. Does they know of the Dragon Ball? No, it can't be. Even in Earth it's not mentioned in any books. In Namek it's even more of a secrecy, so much that the Guru only revealed them to several people, people that he trusted. Some do know of their existence. He believed that the saiyans know because Komatsu's wishes, but he have no idea about the rest. Either way, this person was a bit suspicious. Beat decided to contact the Guru anyway. At this moment, having telepathy is godsent. He first pinpointed Ryuteki's ki sign and then touched his forehead with his middle and index finger. It's not necessary, but at the same time it helped him concentrate more.

My apologies to interrupt whatever business you're currently at, Guru-sama. This is Beat. A human wished to have a counsel with you. They said they are some researcher, and I asked them if they have contacted any Namekians, they doesn't seem to done so... They moved a bit suspiciously, and seem to act alone. Whatever the reason was, this female seem to be a genuine scientist.

Once that's done he returned to look at the woman. "Right, I already contacted him. We'll see how he responds. As for that, I'm not sure, but 48% is still a lot. If anything it shows how diverse Earthling gene is. But again, it's not a strange sight. At least not to me. Does it matter though whether you're pure or not? No one gonna put you in a zoo for being full human. Being mixed breed seem to be common too anyway. There's nothing... too out of it anymore. Interracial marriage is getting more and more of a commonplace."

Then again he don't have the heart to tell her that she might be going in the zoo if by some twisted turn of fate she encounters some "Weird" aliens. If Earth situation isn't fixed, as she's probably one of last few remaining Earthling not under his care.

"Well, technoterms aside..." yes, Beat understand a bit about phenotype and genotype, but he prefers the layman terms "A pure saiyan often only have black, mostly spiky, ungrowing hair, black eyes, brown tail... oh, apparently their hair won't change shape at all. Balding is possible, but to style it is impossible. No idea about bleaching or coloring it though. Saiyans are long living race, according to Earthling standard, able to live up to twelve-or-so decades. Half saiyans like me though wouldn't live as long. My hair too is proof of my mixed blood, just like my eyes. My tail though... apparently dirty gold tail is recessive thing on Saiyans. Anyway, I'll take you there. Do you have any vehicle?"

"Hmmm, no, I wouldn't say I'm like that at all. I guess this pretty much answer my suspicion... you're one among the Earth people who cannot use ki, huh? Well, I guess that's fine. I'm just using some form of communication, mostly one called Telepathy. Unlike most people thought, telepathy is easy to learn for anyone... It takes time to actually learn it, but I guess when you get hold of it, it's pretty easy. Actually, while we're in that topic, do you know Prof. Gohan's research from few centuries ago regarding ki usage? If you're curious perhaps it's better to use that book as a guide. Contrary to what some people thoughts, those aren't 'bollocks' the slightest."

For someone who was an Earthling, Prof. Gohan's research is honestly very groundbreaking (no pun intended considering the name is "Groundbreaking Science"). He wonder what sort of person the guy was. How strong would he be? Somehow, Beat felt that despite being a researcher, the guy talked about ki as if he owns it, and master the techniques used in it. He had one copy at home in Earth, and it's in shelves somewhere, hidden between some books, including DIY on handcraft, woodworking and all DIYs that he thought might be useful to get some sort of job. It's a pity that he's unable to recover it... It might be completely lost now... It's such a regrettable thing.

"But at any rate... here, I'll show you how." Beat once again touched his forehead and stared directly at Sigma. Can you hear me? This is telepathy, and this how it would sounds when you hear it. Telepathy would sounds like someone directly speaking to their ear, without even being present, so the sensation would be a bit strange, but Beat felt that he could easily get used to it.

"Eh, a century and some decades, so several ten-and-so decades," Beat answered."And no, the Guru doesn't say you're allowed to use vehicle, but I figured out it'll be faster or you, unless you for whatever reason want to be carried over there... I mean, as long as you don't disturb anyone you wouldn't be in trouble really. Plus, all thing considered, vehicle are nifty if you can't run fast enough. There are dinosaurs over here. Similar to those in Earth but apparently for whatever reason they got antennas."

...Still, to think that she have... the old tire car of all thing instead of the floating one...That's really rare.

"OK, yeah, nonfliating things probably gonna be a bit hard to cross the water... so... uh... I guess you can enter your car, then I'll carry you there all the way."

...now how would she take this information that he's strong enough to lift a car? Clearly for many people, a kid lifting a car is impossible. Beat may be muscular, even for saiyan kid standard, but his bulk doesn't look like he could lift a car either.

"So that means you know how to control your ki, but cannot sense other person's ki, then?" he asked. Hmmm, well, he guess this one isn't a lie. He decided to approach the young woman and offered a hand. "Right, let me show you a bit how to control your ki then. Can you transfer ki? The process is I'll hold your hand, I'll transfer ki to you, you'll transfer to me the same amount, and we'll do this over and over again. I find this to be a surefire way to get someone an understanding how their ki flow works. If you prefer to not do this now I understand."

They are going to meet the guru now after all.

At first she seem to be surprised at the idea, but he guess that's fine. Not that many kids can lift cars anyway... but at the same time, if his reading on her ki is right, she's supposed to be able to do feats like that anyway. Beat decided to wait for her to take out her car from capsule or whatever, but to his surprise, she suddenly rode away! Hey, what's the big idea? Well, whatever, Beat decided to let her be... for about thirty seconds before suddenly appeared right beside her car and lifts it. "What, are you testing me?" Beat teased. To be honest, this is something that can be easily enough done by anyone with ten thousands of PL. His at two hundreds and twelve made it so obscene in comparison.

"So are we going to that place now, or are you going to test me more?"

...That... was old indeed. But at the very least not something that he minded. Perhaps someone just being creative with their ki, but he wondered if they could readily produce such thing in the battle. Ah well, that's not important!

"Can see why they thought it's a magic trick, I mean..." Beat made a fist and flicked tip of his thumb on the inner side of his index finger, perfectly creating a "thumb lighter" parlor trick. "It's quite funny like this but as you can see... people can do this easily. Then again I have no idea why people nowadays think it's any sort of magic trick or something other than ki. I thought it's more popular and all, but I guess academicians would not accept anything 'nonscientific' to them? Poor Prof. Gohan. His work somehow dismissed as mere magic nowadays..."

Well, all thing done and said, Beat would then fly toward the Guru's place. He wondered if he should make a small talk while at it. "...So what's the story? Did you came from Earth to here or something? Like, why do you come here? I thought Earth people hates  'those monkeys that lived in the the green planet'. I have no idea about this planet though while I lived there, but... yeah, I guess it's just weird to see an earthling here. I know you said you're... you know, taking datas of flora and fauna, but in the end, I just wonder what are you doing exactly with them. Like, is this a job? Just mere passion or something else? Or is it a thesis or sort?"
