The stories she heard were pretty different from what she expected, well this is what happens when there are vast differences in people and conditions on worlds, turns out the human belief that life needed certain conditions to exist was proven wrong a long time ago but these people had solidified it, humans had some interaction with aliens but their technology wasn't good enough to combat them so the general populus had decided to make a decision to not interact with aliens until weaponry and other technologies improved, after all the fear of being defeated by someone or something you don't know is what drives humans to do what they do to protect themselves.
Mac's story was about war, and it was understandable how he felt about it, looks like aliens weren't so different from humans after all. These people felt the same emotion for the same thing, and that broadened her thought on them, but she needed more information before she could really trust someone she might not have anything in common with. She just needed more time and these questions were quite good at making people show emotion, the same emotions appeared on beings with barely any resemblance of humans which gave her some security in her mind.
Sigma also started to eat as she was listening to the short sentence that Cygnus had gave them about his home planet. Just by the sounds of it, it didn't sound like someplace she would ever visit, her warm-blooded body might freeze before she ever would get the chance to go out and venture in that world, and even if she could, something must have happened there that made Cygnus as hostile as he is towards them, if he really was the same as her internally she could piece it together, but she didn't have enough information to do that either.
Sigma stayed quiet, she wouldn't say a word about her past, if she did she might let out some weakness in her personality that others might use against her, she could keep all the pain bottled up as much as she could, after all, no one wants to hear the story on the little girl that quietly rose to power just to lose it all in a second."That's enough personal questions from me. Both your stories are quite interesting." She clarified as she had taken one more bite from the food before drinking water down to get the taste out.
"Why don't we have a move on, since we're finished?" She proposed
'It seems as though she doesn't want to talk about Earth.' Mac Cogadh was intrigued. 'Why ask us about ourselves when she doesn't want to talk about her own self? I left out some things about me, as I'm sure Cygnus did with his brief description of his planet, but she completely avoided herself.' The demon stood up, stretched his muscles and cracked his back.
"I suppose we are done if everyone is finished eating here. We can head on over to Guru's place unless you'd like to go on alone there." Mac looked at Sigma, directing the question to her. "I don't know if you have a good means of getting around on this planet, but the best way is flying, allows you to get to places that walking can't." The demon kicked some dirt onto the fire and stomped it out, sending ash and some sparks into the air, the heat of the flames not bothering him at all. "But, what does one want with the Guru so badly?" Mac asked, curiosity getting the better of him. He recalled that she wanted to excavate, but Namek has no reason to get excavated unless Sigma was looking to take back some rocks to research and analyze rocks back on Earth. Whatever the case may be, Mac Cogadh was getting more curious the more Sigma talked.

The scientist female was quite the nosy one, but she liked to keep her own things safely away from other people's hear and that was something Cygnus did not fail to notice, but he wouldn't call her out on that. She also seemed to be eager to move to Guru's Lookout and as soon as she finished eating, she was already proposing for them to move along and that made him chuckle a bit, as he took the final bite of his half decent meal. Mac seemed also ready to move along and Cygnus just shook his head. "I never said I would tag along. That sounds like trouble. More trouble than what I'm looking for." he started, staring at the duo. "A word of advice." he paused, raising his index finger and keeping the smirk on his thin lips. "Saiyans are quite the edgy race. They are protecting the namekians. Two people with slightly above average power levels approaching uninvited and unannounced. That's recipe for trouble." he threw his two cents.
Cygnus got back up from the rock he was sitting on and continued. "If you want to avoid trouble, seek the saiyans first. Inform them of your desire to meet the Guru and then go. But again, you both are free to do whatever you want. I'm just a person who survived this long by avoiding getting myself into trouble, ohohohoho!" and he laughed, but in a non-charlatan way. He wondered if they would go regardless of his words, they did strike him as the stubborn types, especially the female, but ultimately he did not care; he had no allegiance to the both of them. Their lives didn't really matter.

As they were getting to leave, Mac said some stuff that was pretty obvious in her eyes. However, what really got her attention was what Cygnus said, about reaching out to the Saiyans first before reaching the Guru. Last time she didn't have to do that, what was different now? It might have been that this time her visit wasn't expected, the kid she met had told the Guru about coming to talk before they went, looks like she had to get her message out in other ways as well. This would be quite the predicament, since...She didn't really like the Saiyans in particular, the ones on Earth were nice, however, prejudice doesn't leave one's system so easily.
"Alright, that's fine. However, where do I meet them? Do they have an HQ I can go to? Or do I just have to get a Saiyan to take me there?" She told him, at the least before he'd leave she'd get something out of what he said. She also had another choice, which was to try and convince Cygnus to follow her, but that would be difficult, he might have already gotten the hint that she wasn't the nicest person out there, and she might not be 100% pure, what's more was that she looked a tad suspicious anyway. The quiet people usually get questioned first.
This was also a great time to talk to Mac. "What about you? Do you know where they are? I'm...quite new to Namek, I just arrived around a month on this planet ago." She remembers having to do the tedious calculations of the orbit of the planet in a few hours, and having to create clocks that matched the time on the planet.
She didn't have any currency to bribe anyone either. She could ask Cygnus but she wouldn't have anything to trade, he was likely to be more advanced than her.
Mac took note of what Cygnus said. He didn't want to get into any battles at the moment. More importantly, he knew that the Saiyans were of a fighting race and probably would be stronger than he was, so fighting was definitely not a road to take. Sigma did ask very good questions. They did have to have a central place where they stayed, 'Probably close to Guru's lookout, I would assume,' the demon thought to himself. But he wasn't sure at all.
"That would be a negative. I don't know where the Saiyans are. I've never come across them, but my mother always told me that they were a fighting race, very barbaric like some demons." The demon began to walk, not waiting for Cygnus to answer, but he didn't want to bother the guy anymore. "I don't mind accompanying you, but you are a mystery to me. For all I know, you could be here to pollute the place or do something else. As much as I know some scientists, they rape and pillage and destroy in the name of their "religion" they call science." Mac continued to walk, going to the little hut that he was making, but that was several miles away. "I would really like to know what you are excavating here on this planet. I would possibly give you a hand. Maybe would give me something interesting to see other than my day-to-day things. And it's not hard to find me, either. Just ask the Namekians around the area and they'll point you to me. Some of them know me by name."
The demon kept going, his mind tumbling with what he had seen science do on his planet when the tyrannical demon invaded. *The people he forced into labor made some of them scientists, making them preoccupied with accomplishment. They were focused on whether they can do something, but never stopped to ask if they should. But they did value their life so they continue to do for fear of death. But the evil demon had viewed such things as pointless. If they didn't do it, they would die and someone else would. Discovery was inevitable. So, the natives on Zairne would try to do it first. 'That's the game in science,' Mac Cogadh thought. 'Even pure scientific discovery is an aggressive, penetrative act.' Mac Cogadh knew that it took big equipment, and it changes the planet afterward. Particle accelerators had scarred Mac's birth-planet and left radioactive byproducts. Mac Cogadh's father told him that astronauts left "trash" on their moon back on Earth. There is always some proof that scientists were there, making their discoveries. 'Discovery is always a rape of the natural world. Always.'

Cygnus shrugged again and nodded. "I know where they are. They have a citadel here. Like I said, I had an encounter with the saiyans the moment I arrived here. I'm not looking forward to meeting them again, but I can definitely point out the direction as to where they are." he simply said, proposing to give them directions, but by no means suggesting he would accompany them to either places. New problems were something he definitely didn't need right now. Apparently his posture was clear enough so the female earthling didn't bother asking him to tag along, but she did she did suggest the man to follow her, to which he responded with reticence, and that was something interesting and he arched one of his brows, widening his smirk. Cygnus did want to watch this scene.
The reasons he provided were funny in his opinion. Such a menacing looking creature so concerned about the environment and peace. You really shouldn't judge the book by its cover, he thought, and that what he found most amusing when interacting with random people he would meet during his travels. His amusement was something to be tended to and he felt like throwing some more firewood at the flames. "I have to agree with Mister Mac. We know nothing about you, so why should we even bother in assisting you, miss? Ohohohoho! You are doing a terrible job at selling your case! Come on, you can do better! Who knows... Maybe you can even convince me if you have that lawyer vein! Ohohoho!" his tone was rather carefree.
At this point, Cygnus was just having fun with them. He wondered just for how long they could continue to amuse him though, it was something he was indeed looking forward to see.

She was getting cornered here, they did have a point about everything. Though she did get the information she needed, she couldn't leave here with these people clearing their suspicion on her. She couldn't play dumb anymore, she had to think now. Luckily for her, she looked indifferent with the claims that Mac had said about her. This was going to be tough, she couldn't give a reason that sounded too higher level or they might pass it off as her trying to sound smart to get them to agree with her. She couldn't tell them the full truth because then her plans might be ruined, even if they were small plans having extra people ruin it for her might be something devastating since most science has to be regulated by a government she couldn't do much with her studies.
She had to think about this, her eyes looked at both Mac and Cygnus as she thought of something to say. She had to think about something in less than a second for them to believe her."Both of you have your fair share of points. If you want to come with me, that's fine. My research is independent and only helps the fellow scientists I have back home." She told them the most she could, of course, she had to hide some things but it was true. She just needed some guidance to help her get to her destination. Nothing more, nothing less. "I have the information I needed. Thank you for telling me." She decided to turn and walk away.
She kept straightfaced and serious throughout her talk with them. She now knew what she had to do in order to see the Guru, they didn't have to follow her, after all. Though it was a missed opportunity for her to learn more about aliens just by being buddy-buddy with them for a bit. She could have had learned something new about how aliens acted, and since they were in an interconnected web of an intergalactic government, they could be a small sample size that could tell her a lot about what humans were missing out on.
Was I correct in my decisions? She thought to herself as she had then made her way to this Citadel. This was dangerous and it was setting off some alarms within her body, maybe she needed to learn how to hide her ki before she should approach them. She couldn't ask Mac or Cygnus about it either, that would be asking for too much, especially for the fact that they already do not trust her.
Mac watched her go walk away. The demon didn't know where she was going, and he didn't care. 'She may be going to Guru's lookout, but I doubt that.' From what he gathered from Cygnus, she wouldn't get far without getting into an altercation with the Saiyans. The half-demon needed to meet with the Saiyans, since he knew that in order to get stronger, he would have to train with Guru, at the least if he could. The demon wasn't going to help the woman out at all. He didn't like how she was still keeping what her research was a secret. Mac turned to Cygnus.
"This will probably be the last time I bother you. Can you point me in the direction of the Saiyan's Citadel? I would like to receive training from Guru if I can. And if you don't mind, tell me what I need to know about the Saiyans so I can be on their good side? I don't feel like getting into any scuffles with them and be on hostile grounds." Mac would listen to what Cygnus said, taking in every word before he would then leave, flying off towards the Saiyans that resided on the planet.

The female was so rude. She got what she wanted and left without so much as a farewell. If he wasn't trying to keep himself out of trouble in this place, he would blast her out of the skies for her rudeness, but he knew better; those annoying saiyans and Galactic patrolman would come down at him hard just because he was a member of his race. Not that Cygnus was a decent person - far from that - but his race and the prejudice would be the ones playing a major role on his beat down if it got to that. "Oh, well... There she goes!" he said, staring at Sigma as she flew, making the sign of a gun with his index and thumb and faking a shot. "Bang! Ohohohoho!" he joked, not firing anything. It was just a gesture, showing he didn't quite approve her action, but didn't bother all too much.
His crimson eyes turned to Mac and he chuckled. "None of our business, ohohoho!" he shrugged, keeping the smirk in the corner of his thin lips. Then, the man asked for directions for the Saiyan Citadel and he nodded, and for information regarding the saiyans. "Information isn't usually free, but you made me food, so I can call it even. The Saiyan Citadel is to the south. Quite easy to spot and to sense. And if I have any piece of advice it would be lick their boots. They are a pain and they like to feel powerful. Ohohohoho! Those monkeys! And good luck, Mac. I shall bid you my farewell now." and as he said that he got back to his feet and, flaring a light purple ki aura, he flew away from the place without wasting any time.
Cygnus had an interesting encounter with those creatures, but they were not Planet Trade Organization material.

Sigma went off her merry way and went towards the Saiyans. She just needed to find that citadel and she was good. Though she contemplated on her choices, was she correct? Or was she too hasty and made the wrong decision. After all she's all for learning about the aliens and seeing how they function because obviously they were doing something right if they were connected and Earth was rather disconnected save for a few people that came from space. She kept thinking about that, was she really correct in her choices? Well what has been done has been done and there was nothing she could do about it.
She kept a track on Cygnus and Mac as they left, their distance was increasing from her. Her displacement was also increasing and she then dropped her guard. She might not be able to take an attack from any of them if they showed their true colors. She needed more technology to become faster. Human bodies had their limits and she was going to break those limits in the future, biological enhancers was something she needed. Though could she really stay on Namek for that? This planet that seemed to be less industrialized than Humanity was hundreds of millenia ago? Maybe not. She needed to go somewhere else or something similar, or meet someone like Cygnus again and learn the full extent of their knowledge.
She had so much to learn and this planet was going to be the first step in connecting Humanity with aliens, if she could publish her studies then she'd complete her mission. With these thoughts, she forgot about the real fact that happened. Earth was gone. Right, Earth doesn't exist anymore.
That raised a few questions in her mind and more in her subconscious.
