Planning ahead was required, sure there was the presence of a very powerful kold-demon. But she had no real idea that the poor guy would actually want to take over the PTO and lead it to it’s former glory. She’d be better of trying to find soldiers of some type, people stronger than herself. Maybe learn from them on how to become stronger, she’d been too reliant on those around her for sure. She had been stupid to leave without her squad. But in a weird way happier for having done it. It’d highlighted so many weaknesses that she had and would have to overcome if she were going to improve at all enough to be worth while.
Her thoughts were interrupted as she started to approach what looked to be a domicile, though it was not one she had encountered on Namek thus far, the soldier slowed her pace. Eyes darting to try and catch someone before they spotted her. It probably wouldn’t do any good, every Namekian here seemed to be aware of her presence long before she came anything like close to them and turning on the scouter had become a risk having seen the Kold-demon’s power physically buckle her, she’d only lose the darn thing.
Weirder still were the animals, she’d not really encountered any namekians keeping pets around the place like this location did. Maybe another alien lived here, well compared to the natives anyway. The arm canon charged slightly almost out of habit, it wasn’t like she’d be capable of fighting with much of the inhabitants of this world, but at the very least might make someone think twice about just ambushing her. A quick glance around confirmed at least what she had suspected approaching. It was a farm of some kind, the knowledge relaxed her a little and the tense feeling dropped.
She drifted up and over the crops and floated towards the building itself, curious as to just who or what was farming in this place and why? Maybe it was just another settler who could tell her more about the world and what the natives were like, she’d mostly avoided them and when she came close there was a definite sense of mild hostility. Clearly the uniform brought back old buried memories of what had happened here once before. She figured that she was close enough to make her presence known if it hadn’t already been detected, and she was close enough to the building that shouting would be heard.
“Hello! Anyone about? Sorry for disturbing you?”
Eh, with any luck no one would answer her and she could pinch a few items of food without really being noticed too much by the farmer here, last thing she needed was to be in any more trouble than she already was, what with that thing abscis around and the locals being an issue. Fingers crossed it might be her lucky day for a change .

Beat does sensed some amount of power level approaching. He used to think 3000 was monstrous, and had back then he have accurate ki sensing, Tomina would probably feel hundred thousands, maybe four or five. Meanwhile, Beat himself now is around two hundred and several tens thousand. That pipsqueak from Earth now become some of the "goddamn monsters" as he used to think. Now he wondered if the person could sense his ki. He didn't do any farmwork today considering he's still recovering from his latest battle and instead just opted to let the sprinkle system do the work. When he thought that the person would leave... they instead came. Amazing, could it be that they can't sense ki?
"Yeah, here!" Beat answered their call. At least he knew that this one isn't a problem. He's dressed in his casual work clothes, a tank top, jeans and denim coat that now tied to his waist. "What can I help you with?" he would ask. He then noticed that the person is a Brenchian.... that armor... Where have he seen it again...? PTO? But at the same time, he doesn't have any sort of things in mind regarding PTO. If he recalled correctly, Queen Lettis who was their enemy years ago pretty much wrecked the PTO. So if there is any PTO member, he'll probably... just treat them like any other customers.
"Can I help you? Do you want to buy veggies perhaps? Or maybe meat or milk? Or maybe wool?"
...Well, he have no idea if PTO also deals with this sort of thing, considering that he's yet used to any of this PTO business. His mind still locked in Demons and how to deal with them. PTO or not, he'll treat them normally until they're proven to be hostile. Then again, a twelve years old saiyan talking in front of her like this... would it make the person in front of him think him just as a kid who knows nothing, or someone to be wary against?
"...Oh, and please turn off your blaster, please. I'd rather nothing of my crops or my expensive building destroyed."
On hearing the call, Crana started to pace towards them, a curious look on her face. She hadn’t expected a response and was a little confused. Neither having approached or just didn’t want to come too close, were they nervous about her? It’d be a first on this mess of a planet. It was only when she got any closer that it became more apparent, it was a child, were they alone or was someone else watching them? She decided to play it more cautiously.
“Uh, maybe I’m not sure.. Are you parent’s home kid? Though, I’m not really… Sure what I want right now.”
Damn her uncertainty, it was going to become a problem. This was the problem when someone who was too used to orders being out on their own. In a fight it was simple, instincts kicked in and it was just a case of surviving and inflicting the pain on other people. Something like this and her other meetings had caused her to hesitate more than she really should, seemingly a little blank at his questioning at what she wanted to buy. Did she even have the kind of money this place would accept? It was as he was telling her to turn her blaster off that she spotted the tail and, well it was almost a comical fear reaction. The girl darting back and raising the gun with terror in her face.
“A s-saiyan? Out here. Crap, why me, why today. You just stay back… H-ow, how is a saiyan here!”
She looked twitchy on that canon, the end obviously glowing as she tried to cope with the idea that she was probably screwed, sure it was only a younger one. But frankly she’d not met a saiyan yet that hadn’t been a pain in the ass to fight even when they were outnumbered by her squad.

"Eh, my dad's out on a mission, my mom is home, but she's resting inside. Plus it's not her that own the building, it's me. So I guess I'm as competent as you can ask for..." Beat would answer offhandedly. His tail now swishing and honestly, being feared like this is quite funny. He can't help but to chuckle. He's just a kid, c'mon, there's no need to be that scared. He never get used to this, and that's why it's so fun! "Right, I'm seriously just going to ask you to turn it off. Uh, and stay back? Well, uh, I will, if you, you know, turn that thing off. If you're not, then I'll just turn it off myself. How about it?" he offered "Or maybe you can shoot it at me? Just don't shoot my crops, please. They're from Earth and Earth gone boom. Even one of them would cost a damn plenty if harvested without being able to be reproduced. And just so you know... if any of my crops destroyed..."
...This time around, Beat's playful tone dropped into a menacing one, as his ki flickered a bit. "...You'll regret it, got it?"
Then he immediately drop it, returning to his usual cheerful tone. "So, really, turn it off, or should I turn it off myself~? I'm fine with either."
Crana’s face visibly scrunched up a little as she took in this information, that didn’t seem right some how, the parents were here but the place belonged to the little kid and not them? Were they that old that they’d already given everything to him and had him caring for them? How strange a situation this was. She was somewhat spooked by the shifting tone. There was just the strangest edge to it that had Crana being more than cautious. The parents were confident in leaving this child along to run everything. She didn’t dare turn on the scouter right now, but clearly this kid had seen the energy she had started to build on her canon and was more concerned that Crana might damage the crops here.
“… You’re bluffing, why would you want me to fire on you. That makes no sense child.”
Well, it made no sense unless he was capable of sensing their respective power, if he were a saiyan and was that powerful that her blaster didn’t threaten him she was in trouble if this became any sort of battle. She decided to go for a calmer approach, powering down the canon just in case but the weapon remained pointed at him. She needed some answers, if the Saiyans were on World, she’d regrettably not felt his energy as it flickered otherwise she’d probably be a lot less demanding of him.
“Okay Saiyan, it’s powered down, but what is your kind doing here? Have they invaded this world as well?”

A quirk of questioning eyebrow, an action done by the child in front of Crana. Beat didn't drop his carefree smile, but when she said he was bluffing, he definitely looked amused. "Bluffing? Nah... not really." Beat would then produced an advanced scouter from his pocket and handed it to her. "I'd like that back, but see for yourself the number there and you'll see I'm not bluffing."
The scouter already activated the moment it's on Crana's hand, and if she wore it, she would see it rises from really low, rapidly to thousands and then ten thousands, to hundreds... It gave several "WARNING" sign on it, and then finally stopped... At ridiculous 273.593 PL. At this time, Beat would smile wider as he seem to be very certain of his victory. "That's why I told you to shot at me and not at the veggies. I'll just turn it off gently anyway. PTO or not, it means nothing to me if you come here in peace. Also, invaded? Nay. we are part of Remnant Alliance. We, Saiyans of the Remnant Alliance, is affiliated to the Galactic Patrol. We also have an agreement to protect our landlords, the Namekians. We and the Namekians are in agreement of mutual benefit. We offer them protection, they gave us the place to live. Not only that, we also help them by setting the biggest trade hub in this part of the galaxy. Do you still want to keep that tone with me, Lady? I don't mind to be honest. Like I said, if you're not hostile to me, then I won't be hostile back. Want some milk?"
Beat pulled a bottle of chilled, pasteurized milk from nearby refrigerator. "It's free, don't worry."
Crana was at a little bit of a loss, this child was too confident too carefree in the face of a solider. Typical saiyan arrogance maybe but at this young an age? It couldn’t be so strong that it thought that her blast would do nothing to him, She gingerly took the scouter though she didn’t put it on, instead just triggering it and using it to check on the kid, not that she really needed the damn scouter. With the kids power skyrocketing so hard she thankfully wasn’t blown over this time as she had done with the kold- demon, mercifully her previous experience had shown her what she needed to do to stay upright.
“Impossible, this scouter is faulty or a joke one or something.”
She knew it wasn’t the case but she couldn’t figure out just what was with this planet. Either she was, losing her mind or she’d actually died on impact and this was some kind of hell. That would certainly be one answer, but then that didn’t answer why everyone was being so nice to her, especially a Saiyan. Then he explained that he was part of something called the remnant Alliance and her curiosity was peaked, especially since they were connected with the galatic patrol.
“I… I’m at a loss I really am, going from constant hostile experiences just because of my outfit and having to struggle to survive. To everyone on this world being the friendliest of people. That you didn’t just use your apparent strength to knock me down baffles me.”
She inched closer and reached out to take the bottle, staring at it with some care before opening it and taking a soft smell of it to see just what it was, it didn’t seem to be much of a problem and she closed the thing again. The soldier carefully rubbing her cheek and speaking, albeit a little quietly.
“Uh… Maybe I can try this again… I’m Crana, kind of crashed here.”

"Faulty? A joke?" Beat repeated then chuckled. "Nah, that scouter saved me so many times..." and with speed unimaginable, his arms shot out, but not to harm Crana, but to take the scouter. "And I guess that quite proved it, right? Or do you still not trust me? That's OK if you don't. I know not many people would believe if a kid says something like "shoot me" in face of danger. But it's simply that. I'm just an overpowered kid for normal person's standard I guess. It's funny because about a year ago I used to think that people on your level are the monstrous one."
And the woman explained her circumstances. "Well, you know that PTO isn't accepted in many places because they often sell planet or at times do genocide to empty it. So I don't blame you. Frankly, as long as you don't have any wanted poster, I can't arrest you. I actually wonder where PTO stands... But as it goes, I can't really arrest a mook without proper evidence. Are you just a cadet? Are you someone who wanted to do a fresh start or something? Well I don't know, and I don't really care. I mean, if you want to pursue it, sure I can whip a handcuff, but as it stands, I'm pretty much asking "what for?" If you're here to turn into new leaf, then I'll be dashing your hope for a new start. I was like that too, and dashing someone's hope when they want to become the new them is not a good idea at all. Call is naivety, but I have little reason to use force at the moment. I'm also currently off duty. I guess you can say I have soft spot for people who wanted to try their hand at bettering themselves. I was a refugee too until my master took me under his wing...
...Oh, I haven't told huh? Right, sorry, I guess a little introduction is on order. Name's Beat, Recruit of Remnant Alliance. Currently just a recruit, but here hoping that one day I'll be good enough for a captain seat," Beat explained. "Nice to meet you, Miss Crana. Well, I guess I'll just say, those armor would indeed be triggering for some saiyan, and hell would get you into a massive problem. Do you want some more casual clothes instead? And keep that armor locked somewhere."
Crana barely had time to react, though by the time she was in a protective position, she realised just what had actually happened and looked slightly embarrassed at herself at having freaked out over nothing. She wasn’t coping well being on her own that much was for sure. Not to mention being separated from what she considered normality, orders and the like made the day tick over better. She felt like the kid had nailed, it kids didn’t tell you to shoot them back home, they panicked and tried to hide. Though while she smiled a little at what was probably a joke was he serious about becoming this strong in only a year?
“A...Year? No wonder everyone gets scared of Saiyans, that potential you seem to have is terrifying. No, I don’t think I trust you yet, I also don’t think I have much of a choice but to be nice since you’d kick my behind six different ways before I hit the ground...”
Well, that was a smidge disheartening, she’d always figured that she’d be capable of handling herself when she’d made up her mind t make her attempt at freedom, she’d never really considered just how weak she really was compared to the rest of the universe. No wonder her kind just stayed under the thumb of the PTO despite the crappy treatment. She figured there’d be no harm in being honest with this kid. He’d probably be able to pick up if she lied. She was pretty terrible at it anyway.
“I, actually ran away. I got sick of the bad decisions, the lack of power in our leadership compared to the seeming unstoppable force that was the Saiyans. I’d gone somewhere that had back in the histories of the PTO been a surviving planet to try and find out more about the Kold-Demons, and what it had been like then, then maybe if I was lucky convince one of those powerhouses to come on back with me and reclaim the Pto proper… It, isn’t the most thought out plan.”
She still felt slightly ridiculous having to look down so much to talk to the boy and ended up squatting before him so they were similarly placed, honestly trying to think things through and sighing a little defeated before speaking softly.
“Well, that’s really up to you isn’t it, what happens next. You know what I want, and you know this planet better than I probably ever will. Am I likely to encounter a lot of Saiyans, though regardless I can’t lose the canon. I’d be even more helpless without it. Side thing, being in charge of other people hurts. Specially when they Die Beat, as does the responsibility and blame for anything that goes wrong.”

"Six? Well, if I want to be serious..." Beat let the comment trailing a bit, looking at Crana teasingly, but then smiled. "I'm just kidding, I won't do it at all. But at the very least, I guess you could use a bit of a fighting lesson huh? Trust me, when I first started, I barely can form any sort of ki. Even though I studied for years, I still can't do it. I don't have any sort of money to hire any sort of teacher, so I guess I ended up self studying. Self studying doesn't really do much though... I guess back then I was only... two in PL or something? After some training for three months I ended up in 20.000, but it wasn't until I arrived at this planet that I suddenly become strong enough to contend with other powerhouses I guess! Also, I'm not a full saiyan, you know?" Beat pointed at his hair, which is red. "I'm a halfling. I'm born and raised in Earth, so my mother is an Earthling, my father is the one who's a Saiyan."
Hearing the lady telling him his life story, Beat made a thoughtful gesture. "...Well, how to say... I guess first of all, when Queen Lettis fell, I thought PTO attacked all Saiyan owned planets and thrives? But to hear that the PTO now somehow on their last feet made me wonder just what happened. Is it the Cerulean Empire or the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom? Ah at any rate, It's not really a properly thought out plan, but I think you're right to choose Namek. At the moment, I heard Bris is in state of no travel zone. I have no idea what happened, but those Kolds pretty much killed refugee from Earth..." rather than saying that he's no longer angry to them, it's more like he probably ran out of fucks to give after destruction over destruction and people want the best for themselves.
"You'll likely encounter a lot of Saiyans, yeah... especially around this part. Hell, the saiyan base is like ten minutes flight away from here, you know?"
While the flora around his house is definitely not Namek's (They're actually Earth's), Beat's house and his farm is officially still part of the Saiyan Citadel, although it's actually outside of the citadel, but still considered part of it. "Well, regardless, here..." Beat tossed the clothes. "It should fit your size. Just hide away those PTO armor and you should be good. And blaster isn't needed to be sanctioned or whatever it is, no procedure is needed to own them. You can keep them on your person...
...At any rate, I guess it's dangerous if you can't sense someone's power. Why don't I train you a bit? Don't worry, I'll lower my strength and give you plenty of handicap. What do you say?"
It was almost strange hearing something like that from the kid, that he had terrible ki control at first when he was learning. Was he trying to insinuate that she wouldn’t need that arm canon? She’d likely be stuck with the damn thing until the day she died. Probably to another one of the Saiyans on world. It maybe made more sense that he wasn’t that strong at first that he wasn’t all Saiyan. He had their scary potential, but started out much weaker than most. The concept of even being a 20,0000 power level fighter made Crana’s face go a touch blank.
“To say the least… Our victory was rather short lived after the fall of the queen… The Saiayans are back on the move and retaking what’s theirs, and damn… Here too? You might be right, I might need to hide out of armour. But I’m just as likely to get mistaken for a brenchnian and killed anyway.”
Crana seemed mostly confused, holding the milk and now the bundle of clothing and looking a little hopelessly at them and then beat, why would he offer to train her? What did he stand to gain from such an offer. There couldn’t be anything, unless he was trying to stall her long enough that someone else would show up and cause a problem for her? Not that they needed to. The boy alone was enough that he would be fully capable of dealing with her anyway. Could he honestly be geuine.
Gently removing the armour she dropped it at his feet, still in her bodysuit she figured out and put on the clothing. Seemingly a little awkward in the t-shirt and jeans she had been given, almost like she wasn’t used to being out of armour and in civilian clothing.
“Why? Why would you make such an offer? I don’t think I can begin to understand… Is it boredom? Do you just not care if I become strong enough to be a threat to Saiyans? ”

"Duh, like I said, Remnant Alliance is allied to the Namekian. They're our landlords. To protect them from any sort of conflict, to protect them from any invasion, and to give them the benefit of trade we did with the other planets are the duty of the Remnant Alliance. Well, you can say I'm member of that organization too. Remnant Alliance, the mercenary group for Saiyans and the likes. Though, I guess you can say we're in opposition of the Saiyan Empire back in our older days. But back then I wasn't member either. Too young... nay, I didn't even knew about them."
Hearing Crana asking why would he help her made Beat thoughtful. "...Like I said, at the moment you're not an opponent. Sure you're not an ally either, but I provide you nothing of importance. You can't enter the Saiyan Citadel at the moment, let alone do some espionage. Anything in this place is under my watch, and pretty sure I can stop you from doing anything foolish easily. I'm simply doing a decent human being works, to be honest. A whim? Well, I guess you can say so, but out of boredom, no. I think I'm less 'fight orientated' than other Saiyans, really. As long as you doesn't cross me or don't do anything stupid, or is clearly an enemy, I'm not going to do anything against you. Plus, I like to have someone survive rather than die without being able to do anything, so that's why I'm going to teach you self defense. Simple as that, kay? Now... uuhhh... Let's see..."
Beat took several weights and attach it on his arms and legs. "By the way, just so you know... someone with around a hundred thousand PL could lift a mountain... I think. By that logic, I guess I'm quite far beyond it. But to give you a handicap, at the moment I'm just slightly weaker than you. You can check the scouter. If you're ready, you can attack me anytime."
Crana was in a bit of a bind, on the one hand the information she’d been given was rather invaluable, she knew more about the situation politically upon this planet. Though at the same time this particular piece of information made her want to find any working pod and run like heck back to the PTO with the nice knowledge that she needed to seriously step up the training regime since this small unimposing child was able to become this strong in such a short space of time. If she’d progressed at the same rate as this child she’d dwarf just about anything. But right now, she needed to focus and not think of the future. She’d need to survive this world first and maybe gently probe him for the training he did do.
“You think? I wouldn’t be surprised if something as strong as that could juggle planets. I still think this is out of Saiyan violent tendencies, but you don’t have the cruelty. You’re aiming to make this fair, you want a challenge or an interesting test of skill.”
She didn’t seem to check the scouter and was being thoughtful. Calmly checking her blaster with some care and almost not paying attention to Beat after he declared that she would be allowed to attack him whenever. It was strange, he was fine with her fighting him now that the balance was apparently more even. Saiyans were strange, but still at least this one seemed to have no interest in causing her serious harm. She hoped, however she wasn’t going to walk into this trap.
“Not here, you already warned me about the farmland.”
She drifted back, taking off gently and floating a short enough distance from the farm of beat. Assuming that he followed her, and why wouldn’t he. He was getting what he wanted after all. She’d bring down the gun and suddenly fire, the blast hopefully obscuring her slightly as she darted in towards Beat, just after the blast came in the woman lashed out with her boot, aiming for his sides and to keep his mind active while she decided on how to continue from there

When OTs or VTs collide, they'll enter what called a "Clash". If you wish to overpower your enemy in clash, you can opt to consume as many stamina as you need to add the damage. One stamina consumed will up the charge by one charge. However, just like normal charging, a technique only have up to 4 charges at maximum. You cannot consume more stamina to a fully charged attack. To a level three charge attack, you only can consume one more stamina during clash to power it up.
When you're locked in a clash, you cannot do melee, so in this case, your melee is cancelled as if it doesn't happen. If you want to do melee next turn, you must take the damage. If you refuse to take damage, then you must overpower the attack.

Well, crap, she should really have seen that one coming. As she started t move, she realised that he had rather quickly overwhelmed. The girl only having started to move before being forced to hunch up protectively as that blast washed over her. Moments after it passed however, she was moving once again, this time being rather direct in her approach and going briefly airborne, the Uchouni coming down swiftly afterwards to try and plant a boot in the Saiyans face as a good distraction before that blaster barked another round of fire at the powerful child. It felt a little wrong in a way trying to be a bit dirty in her fighting approach. But frankly the kid was far more than powerful enough to just obliterate her. What did it matter if she didn’t play nice.
