Deep Seated Regret and Relief [Alliance]

Everything in Ryuteki's body ached from the moment that cursed wish had been made on the Dragonballs. The Dragon drew from his own strength t an extent, and to of have granted such a massive wish owuld have been enough to kill the creator of the Dragonballs had he not had help. It was only due to Zeno and Trian's help that Ryuteki had survived it at all, having energy constantly transferred into his being t make sure he could still support both himself and the Dragonballs. Thankfully, for the time being, the balls were inert and so Ryuteki had been able to take some time to recover.

It was safe to say however that the Guru hadn't moved from his bed that entire week, and was only now starting to walk about his home. Beat had come in during his recovery period, and while Ryuteki was grateful for the Alliance, he was in a pretty sour mood about the abuse to the Dragonballs... If this is what kind of trouble they brought to his home, then he would reactivate them or hide them away more properly instead of having the elders watch over the orbs...

"Hello young man, come on in. If you don't mind I won't exactly be getting up to greet you."
Ryuteki voiced, having perched himself atop a cushion in the common area he usually greeted his guests in. He still had yet to sit atop the throne left empty by his father, though judging by how clean it was, it wasn't because it had been forgotten.

From abode his cushion Ryuteki would watch tear up and drop to t he floor, bowing low as he proclaimed his apology. Ryuteki would look at him with confusion on his face as he listened to his words but just let out a soft chuckle as Beat repeatedly apologized for allowing the Dragon Balls to be violated and for not coming to his first about hunting them down himself. His arm would stretch far from his body to reach the boy, carefully patting the redhead on the head much like a fatherly figure might have done. He would withdraw his hand only once Beat looked up to him instead of down onto the floor.

"Don't apologize young one, you did what you could, and that was more than most. The only reason I find myself so weak is because of the drastic extent of the wish granted. Normally a Dragon shouldn't have the power to create anything on the level of the gods... and yet somehow, it seems my generation of Namekians have a gift in that regards."
He stated, remarking the fact that the Earthling Dragonballs had also been used to create a tainted god. He didn't even want to think what such wishes could do to the energy within the Dragonballs... but they were inert for now, that would be a worry for another time.

"Besides, I knew what I was getting into when I created them. There's no way to have everlasting peace when you have orbs that can grant anyones deepest desires. I should have deactivated them long before now, so in the end it really is no one's fault but my own. For that, I apologize for having put you through such a horrific ordeal."
With that it was the Namekian's turn to scoot out of his cushion, placing himself down into a proper bow now as well to fully express his apology.

"Young man, that initial wish is far from selfish. Yes you would be changing someone completely from who they are, but in the end you would be attempting to help her, to save her. I don't see that at all as being selfish. The only reason that I find myself in this state, was because of the intensity of the wish. Something on the level of what you would wish for, whether it be bringing out the Demon Queens light, r even healing your body, would not hold any effect on me. This is simply because the Demon Queen wished herself to become a god of Destruction... a wish that I didn't think possible for my Dragon t grant. It seemed he needed life energy to make this wish happen, and needed to make a tether for the Queen's power. Seeing as the dragon and I were already connected, I was the easiest choice."
Perhaps Ryu had given away more information than he had intended there, but Beat was a boy that the Namekian had come to trust. Whether he knew the truth or not, he knew that the boy wouldn't act on it... not unless they were literally facing the end of their universe.

"I will attempt to gather the Dragonballs myself once they are active once more... I feel that they may be safer with me, and this way whoever desires the wish has to come and directly contact me and make their wish through me. The dragon only understands Namekian, so unless someone else studies out language as the Demon Queen has, it shouldn't be an issue..."
He would sit back up, propping himself back into his bean bag chair with a contented sigh. He motioned for Beat to have a seat with him so that they could both just relax instead of being so tense and emotional over what happened.

"If I had the Dragonballs now for example, I would deem your wish worthy of their use. At least, the one where you wished to heal yourself. I believe it will help you on your path, and further push back that shadow I spoke of before."

Ryuteki would nod gently as Beat perked up, asking him if it was really okay for him to use the Dragonballs so selfishly. If healing someone wasn't a good reason to use the Dragonballs, then he couldn't imagine what a good reason would be. He'd just smile to the Saiyan and chuckle lightly.

"Honestly, using the Dragonballs to do good, such as healing a dying child, was the initial reason I created them. When a Namekian creates the Dragon, we must have a purpose in our hearts, that purpose is what gives the Dragon it's power. The closer a wish is to fulfilling that purpose, the more powerfully the Dragon can grant it. So yes, if either of us can gather the Dragonballs, then we will wish for your body to be able to keep up with your progressing power. To be told you are dying when you are so young... I can't imagine anything more horrifying."
He would say gently, reaching over for his glass of water as he spoke, sinking back more into his chair as he settled in to rest more comfortably.

"And if that lazy pack of bones is willing to help you hunt for those Dragonballs, then he means it, Beat"
This time it was Trian's turn to speak, the older Namekian walking into the building and seeming to just 'appear' behind Beat. He had a wooden bucket of water in his arm with a clean towel hanging off the edge. He's make his way around Beat and move over to Ryuteki's side, kneeling down next to him and setting the tub down. Ryuteki huffed lightly as Trian did so, but didn't say anything, there was a light pout on his lips which might be the most emotion the Namekian had outwardly shown since Beat had met him.

The conversation between Beat and the two Namekians would continue for very long. Trian had come in to tend to Ryuteki and make sure he was getting his rest, and so that meant that Beat was being ushered away. They had time still to gather the dragonballs, so it was best that Beat go home for the time being, and they could start the hunt again in a year when the balls were reactivated.

The year that passed after the tournament of power saw a great expansion on Planet Namek. While half of the planet still belonged to the Namekians, half the planet now belonged to the saiyans. While the saiyans kept the peace with the Namekians, they weren't shy at all about their expansion and outreach to toehr races, and so Namek was forced t evolve... the Namekians were forced to come out of their shells and interact with other species. It was difficult at first, even frightening... but the Saiyans were always there to ensure that peace remained. anyone that started trouble was promptly imprisoned and sent away, or if the threat was large enough they were even killed.

Many from other worlds would make the journey to Namek just to speak with Ryuteki, apparently a wise young man who could see into people's hearts. It had honestly grown tiring for the Namekian... his gift of unlocking the potential in one's power remained a secret, but there were so many that sought wisdom, some sought far more than he could give... and truthfully, he would rather reserve himself fr his own people. In time, Ryuteki asked the Saiyans to ensure no outworlders would come to him without a true reason. They would first have to make the request of the Alliance to see him, and then that request brought to him. Ever since he had implemented that, things had been much quieter for the Namekians.

Once that year passed, Ryuteki would find himself leaving the lookout more and more often, now on the hunt for the Wish granting Dragonballs. He never told anyone that he was searching for them, this way no one's attention would be drawn to the Namekians at all... although when all of the balls were collected and it was finally time to summon the Dragon once more, there was no hiding the fact that the sky had gone pitch black, lightning crackling through the skies as Porunga would soon come into existence.

"Eternal Dragon Porunga, rise and grant my wish through your eternal power"
Ryuteki spoke up in Namekian, the form of the giant Dragon rising high into the sky even as the words escaped his lips.

Ryuteki would glance back to Beat whenever the boy arrived on the scene. Honestly, he had been hoping to get this wish over and done with long before Beat could notice, but it seemed his plans were foiled... and instead Ryuteki just smiled gently and nodded gently in acknowledgement of Beat's presence. Even though the boy once more expressed his desired, Ryuteki didn't seem to listen as he returned his attention to the ancient Dragon, once more speaking in Namekian, so that those around him would not understand him.

"Porunga, Monocanco to Papitto pi lo en Beat."
he spoke, the only word that would make sense, was the name of the boy now standing behind him. The Dragon's growl would turn into that of a secondary, deep Namekian voice, which was promptly followed by the Dragon's glowing red eyes. Nothing however, seemed to happen around them. Though Beat's power would suddenly increase, without any ill effects being felt from the boy.

"Your wish is granted"
The Dragon would say in namekian before roaring loudly. The Dragon's energy would suddenly vanish as it was sucked back into the Dragonballs that suddenly took flight over them. In a blazing display of light, the balls would then fly off to every corner of the planet, the sky clearing with their disappearance. Only then would Ryuteki lower his arms, and instead turn to face Beat, a smile on his face.

"I was hoping to surprise you with that. But it seems my surprise is spoiled. How do you feel?"
