Letti was out in front of Sigma's ship, she was meditating after being rescued from that horrid place she was captured and brought to. Where they tortured her badly, but she had healed physically but not mentally. That is why she was trying to block out everything, every sound. She was focused on trying to remove the memory of her time. But she would remember it from time to time and it horrified her to the core. She wanted to never go through that again.
With Sigma's help, she could manage to forget it at some point, if that ever happened. She sensed Sigma's ki signature behind her and just smiled a little. Well, at least she was safe for now and that she could be seen. She was a capable fighter, Letti herself was but those people who took her away... they were stronger than she could have imagined. This is what scared Letti even more, the fact that there were stronger people than her out in the world than her. She couldn't turn to the Saiyan Galatic Army for help, this was something that she had to do herself. This was a test she would lay out for herself. To beat the ones that captured her.
Sigma was inside of the ship, monitoring Letti with her devices that she just made. Letti's power was steadily rising above what it was before, growing with some predictability, sure it was slow but one could find the derivative of her growth to make an average. She wanted to see what she thought the process was like but knew about the unethicality of seeing what was inside of one's mind without their consent, and it was holding her back, but she could make her progress even if she was held back by 'morals'.
It seemed fruitful enough to test her for once with a fight. She decided to put the measuring systems and programs into autopilot as she would walk outside of the ship. "I see your training is going well, but now I want to do one of the first of trials, just to see how strong you really are." She thought in her mind that this was a bad idea, since she would have to put in more work just to make sure she got a good idea on how strong she was, since she would get stronger herself at a different rate than Letti meaning the numbers could be skewed and she could either undermine or overestimate Letti's real power and potential.
Letti had heard Sigma exit the ship but just continued to meditate listening to what she had to say before opening her eyes and looking at her before she climbed to her feet. Sigma seemed to want to have spar. Letti shook at that thought having had had her hand injured some time ago. But still, Letti needed to get back into action after being taken and hurt like that. She simply took a stance which had her protecting her torso but leaving one hand slightly outstretched before she looked at Sigma.
"Are you sure. Do you want to fight me? I'm in the Saiyan Galatic Kingdom. I have had some training. I know how to hurt people more now.". When she said that Letti had lowered her head in sadness. It was true, she had some training and now she had more combat experience. She didn't want to fight Sigma, even as a spar. But at least it gave the both of them battle experience. Letti spaced her legs out a little before raising her hands a bit. She was in the stance that she would be able to dodge the first attack if Sigma let out an attack before her. Letti slid her right foot across the ground and noted it was slightly uneven. She also looked at the distance between them before waiting for Sigma to strike first.
Luckily for Sigma, she didn't know what the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom did to Earth, and she'll probably never find out, all she knew about them was that they had a big say when it came to the politics of intergalactic relationships. It was quite jarring to see such a force that was so much more technologically and physically superior than humans that it made her kind of jealous, sure they may never be as precise as her in calculations but she was an exception in the human race, she had much more things going for her than the average human, but the average saiyan was so much farther above a human it pissed her off.
"I can handle a beating. When in a fight, treat your opponent without emotions. They are more willing to break if you're stoic towards them, any feelings they have towards you will flow upwards, but if you supress your own feelings, you will win the fight. Besides, I this isn't my first time getting beaten up. So cmon, show me what you can do." Sigma watched Letti carefully, now most people would get into a stance, but she stood still. She could adapt to the situation to give herself less predictability however at the cost of preparation, martial artists did have an idea of how to do this, but she was going to forge her own path
Letti was scared to fight the person who had agreed out of the kindness of their own heart to look after her. But still she had to spar to get her strength up a bit more and that is what Letti would do. But first, she would unhook the sword from her belt and threw it to the side. She wasn't going to use that right now. It seemed too dangerous to leave cuts or stab wounds in a spar which was meant for understanding weaknesses. She already knew Sigma's weakness, the fact she didn't get into a stance. Although she could have been wrong, she had been wrong before with that Abscis being, she had been beaten there.
"I can understand why you want to test me in my fighting capabilities again. But I have something to say. Thank you for rescuing me from that place..." Letti had said before smiling warmly at Sigma to prove even more that she was thankful for that rescue.
They were both somewhat ready for the little spar that was planned between them. But Letti just stood there for a moment gaining up the courage to attack and when she did lunge at her, she cracked the ground beneath her feet. She was upon Sigma within the space of half a second. She glared right into her eyes as she outstretched her fist toward Sigma. She was so close to Sigma right now and twisted her body so that if she hit Sigma, she would be propelled the other way. This was to try to avoid Sigma's attack.
Sigma watched Letti as they were getting ready for their fight, she said something very nice about her, something about thanking her for saving her. Though it was something anyone might have done in that situation, well humans at the very least. It was something to remark about how she said this, it made Sigma think a bit and she wasn't caught off guard, but it looked like she did, just for a split second her expression had changed and she was quite happy when she said that and a few seconds after, but she was pretty much ready to fight back no matter how happy she was.
The punch that had came to her in half a second was not much for her to dodge, though it did show her power. She calculated the speed of the attack and decided to step away at the correct moment when Letti thought that her attack would connect, but in fact she dodged. She really wasn't holding back on anything.
Sigma had then sent out a punch that would create smoke on her hand, this one being much faster than Letti's punch just based on the smoking effect that her fist had after she would attempt to hit her.
Letti had missed and thus had left herself open or so Sigma would think. Letti watched the attack coming towards her but it simply went through her body, Letti hard turned herself into pure ki before moving behind Sigma, she reappeared behind Sigma as she looked to the side before smiling a little. She would then turn around to face Sigma, she then used her eyes to send a couple of invisible strikes at Sigma. Letti's plan was half working, well at least she believed that. Sigma had thrown what seemed to be a powerful strike and if Letti didn't dodge that, she was sure to break a few bones with that attack.
"That was close! You almost got me there." She said while looking at her mother figure again and smirking a little. Letti knew that the person in front of her was a lot stronger than her. Letti was confused at that but she still had to try her best in this spar, if she didn't put any effort into this fight. She would be beaten badly and by her mother no less.
Sigma watched as Letti dodged the attack, she was carefully observing Letti so that she got the finest details. She calculated her speed up to 5 decimal points, a normal feat for her, so common that she does it as a hobby. Though there was one small problem with it. Letti was slightly faster than her calculations on how fast she should be. She was around just a tenth faster than the calculation but in the long run that meant that she was getting her growth curve wrong. That might stack and in the end she might be an entire 4-5 kilometers per hour behind within the next few months, and that much speed loss is not something to laugh at.
Sigma had dodged the simple punch she was given, fixing her glasses in the process. She had a look in her eyes that showed that she was very determined to win this fight, but at the same timethere was the tiniest hint that she was having fun in her eyes as well. It looked like she wasn't just a scientist that was just testing the test subject, she wanted some fun in this too!
She had then let out a flurry of kicks one might think would be impossible unless she ripped her skirt in the process, but she did them and they were piercing kicks, meaning that Letti would bleed if she hit them.

Letti noticed that Sigma had dodged the attack with ease, it seemed as if Sigma was going all out though while Letti was holding back just by using melee attacks. However, she knew that she couldn't survive this way and had to adapt to the situation and use her techniques finally. She had to show Sigma that she was strong and not some weak kid. When she got hit by that attack of Sigma, it sent her crashing to the ground in pain as she screamed loudly. She held her stomach as she cried a little... before slowly getting up and looking down in defeat. She had to work up the courage to attack Sigma properly now and win.
So she just glared into Sigma's eyes which would attempt to release Ki around Sigma's body to keep her stationary for her next attack after a few seconds she appeared behind Sigma. She showed no teleportation technique, she was just using her speed. She then threw her hand to the side.
And as she was doing this she turned to face Sigma with a smile of happiness. She knew that she could manage to hurt Sigma in this fight but she herself would be defeated. She just knew it... she wasn't strong Saiyan, to begin with. She then flew straight at Sigma, stopping just steps away from her. Letti held out her closed fist to just an inch away from Sigma's stomach and then attempted to set off the delayed punches that were planted on Sigma's body.

Sigma kept a close eye on Letti. Letting her have her way might be detrimental since she could easily be caught off guard. By the look on her face she was going to try something that would catch her off guard. Letti still had the habit of changing her facial expression when she would try something, and that was easily picked up by Sigma. She was very careful in this fight, like all fights but especially careful since techniques now weren't just something to deal damage, they could do a variety of effects to her that might be detrimental to the fight, luckily she was bleeding from her kicks.
She was now attempting to try this technique she had, and it seemed smart enough for her, as the fist reached her stomach she would counteract the punch with her own punch once more, throwing out the same punch she had done before, clashing with Letti. It was the first attack she used and it was really, her most used attack. She didn't want to give an inch to Letti and she would try to counteract everything, she might not be fast enough to dodge this attack but she could calculate the speed at which this delayed hit would come for her, find the average time between delays and then counteract it with an attack of her own.

At this point, Letti was fighting unconsciously as let her primal saiyan instincts take over. She saw that attack coming toward her body, she then turned herself into pure ki as she simply traveled through the attack that Sigma had just done. She was losing and one more attack like that and she would be knocked out and lose finally. The attacks from before had taken their toll on Letti and she was close to just giving up. But then she wouldn't be a Saiyan right?
She turned back into herself as she was now behind Sigma, she turned to face Sigma with a slight twist of her lips, showing that she was agitated now. But she gave a smile anyway before charging toward Sigma with her fist outstretched but suddenly appears behind Sigma again. She hadn't done any meaningful damage to Sigma and it was slightly getting annoying. Maybe she didn't have a place here after all. She was nothing, so god damn weak. Letti hesitantly clicked her fingers setting off the single delayed punch. She had to find a way to set off the delayed hits automatically because manually doing it was more time to be attacked.

Sigma saw it in Letti's eyes. She was starting to lose some hope in herself. This was carefully observed by her so she can judge her next move. The best thing to do here, is just to attack Letti with a simple punch towards her collar bone. Nothing more, nothing less. She had to get some sort of damage in without going too overboard with her attacks. She hadn't even told her that she was using as much strength as she could here, in her most stable form (not to say this one isn't stable) She was quite weaker than Letti. She didn't want her to have an easy fight however.
As she aimed to hit the punch. She tried thinking about how fast her fist was going, as long as it was slow enough so that she could recover some of her stamina while she still did damage, her mission would be accomplished. Though there were probably some underlying problems with her strategy, it seemed rather easy to pick up on. She would use heavy attacks but then suddenly back up for a certain amount of time and just attack with normal attacks, ones that anyone could do, nothing specialized.
Just don't give up. She thought to herself. Though her eyes were clearly conveying that message without words.
Letti's nose was bleeding from the previous attacks that Sigma had launched at her, she was failing Miso, Luffa, and Sigma herself. She was weak. She didn't deserve a person like Sigma to care for her and right now as Sigma's fist was coming toward her. She felt scared, after all, she was only eleven years old. She lowered her head down and waited for the attack to hit her. But unwillingly, that ability was on again as she turned into ki and moved through Sigma's body to end up being her.
Letti then turned back into herself and then turned to face Sigma with her head still lowered for a moment before raising her head and looking at Sigma. The smiling kid was nowhere to be found in Letti, now a low-spirited child, her movements were half-hearted. As she launched herself at Sigma with a loud scream, attempting to punch Sigma in the face because all Letti could see her in a pained state right now was one of her torturers. Although it wasn't, she just thought it was. Letti was now in a state of depression.

Sigma was conflicted, it seemed like Letti lost her nerve after the small few interactions they had. Were all 11 year olds like this? She couldn't tell. She was a weakling at 11 as well but she was never this afraid. Now that I think about it...I could have died back when I was 11. She didn't realize that not everyone was like her in mental strength, she wasn't the type to get afraid due to her circumstances up until 2 years ago, fighting for her life, and doing criminal activity were things she really was not proud of. However, it made her the strong-willed person she is.
Sigma saw her lack in motivation soon enough. This wasn't good, she didn't have enough numbers to call this a success but Letti was getting either really tired or really afraid of her power. That wasn't good, was she going too hard on her? No, of course not. She wanted to push Letti to further heights the same way she had to in her early life. She couldn't say anything because she couldn't think of the correct words to say without sounding harsh or insensitive, she never did bother to study in psychology.
The punch had gone towards her face, and she sighed, she decided to get hit by the punch to let Letti gain some confidence, she would throw the same type of punch towards her as well.
Letti had finally gotten a punch off on Sigma and she smiled showing some happiness in this spar. But she had a feeling that Sigma had let the punch happen. It was strange to how she dodged the others and then let this come straight for her face. But Letti didn't mind, she was happy so far and needed to gain more confidence in her fighting parameters. This was just the first step in her journey to be a strong and capable Saiyan.
She remembered what Abscis said to her and she felt the need to get stronger for him not absorb her. She wouldn't get absorbed like that. She just wouldn't, she would fight to keep her life. She wouldn't DIE! But that was in the future, for now, she would get stronger and get more experience in the battles to come. When she connected with the punch to Sigma's face, she would stop dead, having connected with something. It was thrilling the feel of battle, however, this opened up Letti' majorly as she felt herself get punched as well, thus resulted in Letti crashing to the ground, she would skid across the ground as she stopped eventually. She struggled to get up and then smiled at Sigma before giving her a thumbs up to show her approval in this apparent battle. "You know this battle might break my limits! I might be able to turn into Super Saiyan after this. You know I like this battle. It will drive me further than ever before!!
Letti just stood there as she nodded towards Sigma before simply blowing away in embers because of the wind... but 0.3 seconds later she would attempt to punch at Sigma's forehead after she jumped up a little in the air.
