The ship landed and Lafayette touched the ground. Immediately, the mistress took off, the ship blasting off. The fledgling was on his own, since before he was dropped off the mistress enticed Lafayette with her blood, freeing him from her beck-and-call. He was turned before the Earth was attacked and destroyed. Meanwhile, while and after the battles of the Earth, Lafayette was taught to cast aside his humanly speech and become more of a vampire. Lafayette was more swave, and his gait and movement are more fluent like water then when he was s human.
But as of right now, Lafayette was on a planet that he knew nothing about. "Well," he said to himself, "I always did want to do something new ,though this is not what I had in mind." Lafayette started to walk, not going in a general direction. He noticed that the aliens on the planet were of different shape and size and color, but generally they seemed to be of the same type.
Though, Lafayette had never seen such creatures before. It intrigued him very much. When he would get next or even close to one, they would turn away, and it discouraged the fledgling a bit.
More people needed to get the memo. Granted Rukia’s rule was just recently established, so some people disregarding them was to be expected. Hopefully once they were in place Cryonia would have to deal with a lot less people once things settled down. As it was right now, she was up to her neck in work.
It didn't take her long to find the person she was looking for. His energy signature was in the general area where he was first spotted, and was unfamiliar to her. She knew what he was based on the type of energy signature she was picking up, but this person was unfamiliar to her. Well this encounter would certainly prove to be interesting.
The monochrome woman walked through the streets of the city until she found the man she was looking for. He was a rather odd looking individual. Then again her monochrome hair and pale skin did rather stand out, so who was she to judge.
“I trust you are unaware of the new laws of Planet Bris. I’m here to inform you of them. Once I do, you must leave this planet or face judgement. Such is the authority given to me. Please state who you are and your purpose here.”
Cryonia placed both of hands on her hips, like she was giving a stern warning to a child. The soft wind blew her hair, snow falling around them. The harsh environment of Bris having no negative effect on the hybrid. In fact, she loved the cold. Since Vampires could also withstand it, there was no reason not to have this conversation outside. She didn’t imagine it would take all that long.
Lafayette could smell the mixture of blood from each individual. Eventually, he saw a woman with monochrome hair and pale skin. She addressed him, demanding why he was on Bris. But how did she know where he was? He had just gotten on the planet . Even he barely knew the true reason why he was here. There were even laws here, especially to foreigners it seemed.
"My name is Lafayette. I don't really have a purpose here. I was bitten and turned into a vampire on Earth, the night before it was destroyed, and the vampires that turned me brought me here. I'm sorry that I have trespassed on the planet, but I am truly just here by myself now, with no way to leave."
Lafayette noticed the snow and realized that he didn't feel it's coldness. He was immune to it, unnerved and unmoved. But, standing here, smelling the blood that walked around him, made him, hungry.
"I have told you why I'm here. Is there anything else that needs to be told?"
The fledgling was getting some help, to point it seemed, but he was starting to wonder what sort of food was on this planet, and if there was any wild game for him to hunt. Lafayette felt he needed some exercise after being in a space ship for a long time.

This guy very to the point. He didn't waste any time, and give Cryonia all the basic information she needed. Maybe this wouldn't take too long after all. She crossed her arms, looking st the Vampire sternly.
“No, that covers all the basic information I need to know. I presume you are unaware of certain changed that have befallen Bris as of late. Access to the planet itself has become restrictive to outsiders. Granted your race now rules over this place, but you aren't a part of the coven. As such you have a choice. Either leave or stay and prove your worth. I wouldn't recommend the latter unless you're a capable individual. You could die if you insist on staying.”
Cryonia wasn’t going to sugarcoat things. In no uncertain terms this guy could meet with a most ill-fated end if he didn't watch his step. Cryonia watched him, waiting for him to respond in some fashion.
Lafayette started to weigh his options. He could leave, not knowing if he would have a place in the coven, or he could stay and probably have to crawl and fight his way to stay. The fledgling began to look at his own strengths and weaknesses. He was a good hunter, so maybe his hunting skills could come in handy for the coven one day, mostly to hunt down individuals that needed to be eliminated. If he did leave, he would probably be sought out and killed. Either way, nothing was in his complete favor.
"I will stay on Bris. I have some good human characteristics that could come in handy, like hunting, if it's ever needed for anything. How does one become part of this coven that you speak of? I don't know how much I could contribute to the coven, but I think I can be of some use."
As the talk progressed, Lafayette could feel his fangs begin to grow, piercing into his gums and lips as he talked. He was starting to hunger, and soon he knew he would have to find some sort of blood to consume.
Well, this guy was doing her job for her. She didn’t even have to prod him for the information. He just spat out a bunch of information about himself. Which was both good and bad. On the one hand, this meant he was the perfect type to follow orders. On the other hand, he was rather lacking in some important areas, and had certain flaws that needed to be corrected.
“Lady Rukia has no need or use for human characteristics. You are a Vampire are you not? To become a part of her coven you need to go through an evaluation. If you do well enough I will bring your case to her and she will decide your fate. But before that though, would you like a drink? You must be dehydrated from the long trip here.”
Cryonia did not miss the Vampire’s hunger. Being around so many made her attuned to their habits and actions. He was very thirsty, that much was certain. Which was a good thing for her, since it allowed her to evaluate this guy using a simple and quick method.

Lafayette stood up a bit at being questioned if he was a vampire. ‘Yes, I am,’ he thought. ‘Though not totally proud. I wish I could learn how to use these abilities that I have properly.’ At the mention of a drink, his eyes lit up and his stomach growled in agreement.
“Yes, ma’am,” he said in a somewhat courtly manner, bowing as if it was a relief as well as an honor to be offered a drink. “I would be glad to have a drink.” He stood back up and looked about. “But, if I may ask, where should I get a drink? I’m sure that there are certain laws in place the restrains vampires from consuming certain. . .races?
“We are not animals or monsters like certain people believe, and I intend to not act like one, Madame. So, before I make a spectacle of myself, what do us vampires should consume on this planet, for what I crave is a crime in itself and would render someone expired.”
Lafayette was questioning. He wanted to win favor, but he didn’t want to do something that he didn’t want to do. He was also trying not to be an asshole and to not joke around. He wanted to know, exactly, where he was at on the planet’s and the vampire’s food chain. Once he did, he would be able to better navigate himself in the bloody waters and claw his way to be as important as this Lady Rukia needed him to be.
Well this was interesting. He didn't appear to have any qualm about sucking blood from another species. If it was allowed. Cryonia closed her eyes, an amused smile spreading across her face.
“You don’t have to worry about appearances here. If you want to settle for cold blood that's perfectly fine. If you want warm blood badly enough than I can easily accommodate you. You’re on a whole new world: Earth laws don't apply here.”
Cryonia was taking her time explaining things. Maybe it was because she was trying to be accommodating. Whatever the reason, it seemed as though she wanted to set the pace for how this interaction played out.
Lafayette smiled as he now knew he could go for the cold blood. He bowed to Cryonia, "Then allow me to excuse myself for just a minute." He turned from her and entered the crowd of Kold Demons. There was one he saw who's blood he knew wasn't sweet but smelled just as good as the others. He followed the Kold Demon into an alley, which Lafayette thought to be a bit cliche for what was going to happen to the poor guy. Lafayette's feet were quick and light as he approached his prey. Lafayette grabbed the Kold demon by the shoulders and kicked his knees from behind, the legs quickly giving way as Lafayette pushed him down. But it seemed that the Kold Demon wasn't going down without a fight as he turned around and hooked Lafayette in the jaw. But, fueled by hunger, the fledgling clawed his prey's face, causing the jugular to be exposed. Lafayette wasted no time as he pressed a palm to the Kold Demon's mouth and bit into the flesh, the blood exploding into his mouth as the prey screamed in pain, but it was only muffled by Lafayette's hand.
The vampire drank his fill from the Kold Demon, but he sort of stood there, looking at the body that now lay in the alley. He didn't think this far, but he could eat him... Lafayette thought it over and then exited the alley, knowing that it was wrong to leave a fresh kill where it was, but he stopped and hesitated. But he returned back to Cryonia, wiping his mouth just in case there was any blood at the corner of his mouth. When he reached her, he bowed with respect. "Thank you. Now, where were we again?"
Cryonia did just that. She stood there and waited. She just stood there, not even interfering as the Vampire went off. She looked briefly surprised when he returned. Although that didn't show in her voice when she responded to him.
“You’ll have to excuse me for a moment. There's something I’ve got to take care of momentarily.”
Cryonia vanished and a reappeared in the alleyway. She walked over to the body and bent down, careful not to get any blood on her. She put her hand to the Kold Demons neck to check for a pulse. He had indeed killed it. <I wonder how he managed to kill it. He doesn't seem that strong compared to the average Kold. Perhaps he took it by surprise. Still, he actually went and killed when he didn't have to. This limits his usefulness a little bit, but…>[/I]
A smirk spread across Cryonia's features. This guy was the kind of ruthlessness that made for an effective enforcer. That was a commodity that she would take happily. She held out her arm, a blue energy sphere eliminating any trace of what transpired in the ally way. She then vanished, reappearing a few feet in front of the Vampire. Her face once again completely impassive.
“First off, you don't have the authorization to do that kind of thing right now. Although I will let it slide this time since I was using this to gauge you. You will do exactly as you are told. You will stay where we tell you to stay. You have quite a bit to learn about Rosario: we shall educate you properly, since you insist on staying here.”

Lafayette bowed before Cryonia politely. "I'm sorry. I will take that into account next time." The vampire didn't like the fact that he would have to do what he's told, but it seems that if he wants to live on the planet, he will have to follow what is laid out for him.
"I will do as what is told of me," Lafayette said, a smile coming to his face. "I am willing to learn more and to know what it is that I can do for Lady Rukia and also for Rosario." An idea came to mind.
"Maybe I could do some artwork for people. I would have to get the right materials so that the art pieces wouldn't deteriorate..." Lafayette spoke under his breath to himself, thinking out loud. "Maybe....." As his thoughts rolled on, he almost forgot that he was in front of Cryonia. He snapped back into the moment.
"Sorry, I got lost in my own thoughts for a moment. When shall I begin my education?"
Well. At the very least this guy would do whatever they wanted him to do. Which would be useful if he was molded into a competent and strong individual. His insistent on art was a little strange considering what he had just done, but everyone had their hobbies she supposed.
“You shall begin it when we tell you too. For now you must follow me to your quarters. For the time being you are to sleep only in Republic City, until we tell you otherwise. I have paperwork to do in order to set you up.”
Cryonia expected him to follow him as she walked through the streets of her city. Yes, it was going to be a long day. But thus person had potential uses at the very least. She would make the most of it.

Lafayette followed Cryonia through the city streets, going to his new home, and, it seems, being accepted onto a new planet. Lafayette didn't expect his life to be turning out this way, but sometimes it just happens as such. Lafayette would definitely make the most of his time here and do what he can for the individuals that reside over him.
'At least Cryonia makes it seem that I'm going to be useful in the future. I would not want to disappoint her or Rukia. Who knows what would happen if I fail either of them in any way.'

lafayette I've been waiting days for this last post, just to comment on this thread, and you really need to be more aware not to go tagging people to post for something they know they have to post for, if that is all you're going to write. Putting that aside, there's a lot of things I've noticed with this thread that just screams plot armor, and like Cryonia's thread with Dravoc, I'm inclined to believe that it's more of an ooc issue than an in-character one, as within the last couple of months, we've already had several 'oopsie' incidents that are just ridiculous. Rosario isn't meant to be a place where that can be gotten away with, without some death happening on the end of these individuals.
The most obvious issue, is that I'm certain you don't have a clue what Vampires are like. Even if icly, this character had grew up on a farm or whatever (Like his app makes out), there's an extent in how believable it is for anyone reading it, when you honestly believe a 4k Vampire with access to an x8 trans, can just sneak up on a 10k Kold Demon with access to a x11 perm, and actually kill it. It's ridiculous, so obviously full of unnecessary plot armor meant to look 'impressive', as like what happened here with the Moginians being slaughtered in a solo, it's a completely ooc choice to take that action. Cryonia could have easily had one turn trying to stop this kill from happening.
The bare minimum about Vampires, comes from Twilight, and how territorial they obviously are in those movies. To go and believe this whole thing can really go unpunished, is mistaken. Lafayette would be easily culled by a Vampire with more experience, and he'd be nothing more than a splatter of blood on the ground, rather than whatever individual he could believe himself to be. If this Vampire here, can have his head cut off in this universe for turning others into Vampires, what exactly makes you believe killing a Kold Demon wouldn't be equal to that? There's so much lack of awareness contained within this thread, and it's debatable whether or not it's a necessary part of the character's 'growth', when Lafayette could have easily been aware of the mortal level, but because he's such a 'yes' man, he'd likely wind up killing the Kold Demon anyway. All I'm seeing is an ooc decision, just like it'd be one for any character to suddenly attack Earth at this point, and ignoring the fact that security on planets have been careful, as shown here and here, which only goes to show how full of plot armor killing that Kold was.
But I've already talked about it with Arlu while it was going on, and icly it's an unbelievable incident in Rukia's eyes, but easily grounds to boot off this kind of trouble, if it really becomes necessary. And like I've commented on with Dravoc's thread, I'll join with one of my 'nicer' allies, if you really feel the need to travel beyond Republic City.
Cryonia Since approval of the Trade Center was also before this thread's creation, your zeni gains are actually just 1,296.
