"Fight Me!" [Kohl/pre-timeskip]

Tomina really didn't have anything to worry about, unless one were to consider Kohlrabi to be some sort of threat- But if she couldn't even sum up to the cheapest goons, then she found that to be very unlikely. Still, she advised herself some discretion while she observed Tomina from what she thought was an adequately safe enough distance. They hadn't met before, so to Kohl, Tomina was like a startling discovery. A second person who produced hot blue flames, not unlike her own. If she hadn't been close enough to get a look at her hair color, Kohlrabi was likely to think she was looking at her mother. Her knowledge of Elemi was incredibly limited, knowing them only by name and never really seeing one perform in combat. As far as she knew, her mother had been a regular Earthling with a gift for burning things- a gift that passed on to their child.

For the moment, she watched with her eyes narrowed and from a crouched position. Relying more on their Ki senses to get a look rather than their own eyes. 'Why does she have those techniques? Is she some kind of hybrid, too?' Kohlrabi thought to herself as she clenched her teeth, arrogance and confusion paving the way for some rather irrational decision making. Something really wasn't right, or her mother wasn't as unique as she had grown up believing. Perhaps something even worse than that- After her random stray uncle, she was scared to think of the possibility of having more distant family that she had never known of. Komatsu and the twins were enough for her. Standing from her hiding spot, she almost literally ignited her aura, given it's fiery nature, and then took off towards Tomina. Not even trying to make her approach a secret, as she was now determined to get some answers.

She continued to radiate her previously uniquely colored flames as she came to a stop, bearing an expression much like an irritated cat. "Where'd you learn to make fire like that?" The hybrid questioned, cut and dry straight to business without even an introduction, sounding almost like an accusation. She really didn't need to raise her hand to go pointing any fingers, at least not metaphorically speaking.

Those words struck a nerve in the small hybrid. She stiffened her posture and clenched her hands into balled up fists, eyes widened and brow furrowed, clearly offended. "P-Poser?" She repeated the word with an irritated sounding stutter. She brought her arms up, and then down hard, the motion seemingly the cause of her aura flaring out. "What the Hell makes you think I wanna pose as you? I'm not looking to be anyone's impersonator! Just 'cause you got some fancy black bits to your flames, doesn't mean I'm any less authentic!" Kohlrabi protested, looking about ready to throw a punch, should she be provoked to do as such. Sure, she wasn't supposed to be out and picking fights, but was she just supposed to let that sort of attitude continue? Kohl likely wasn't known to do the mature thing in these sorts of situations by just letting it drop and walking away- she was much too prideful for that. "If anyone's the poser, it's gotta be you. My mom was blue and fiery before either of us, I'm pretty sure.. 'less you're an old lady?"

She fired back, although a lot more passive aggressively than Tomina's first comment. "Years might've treated your looks real kind, but that doesn't change you might use some help crossing the street, huh granny?" The small Saiyaness added with a bit of a smirk. Maybe she dug herself a little bit deep there for her first 'return fire', though.

Kohlrabi responded initially with a chuckle- one seething with her increasing irritation. Jeez, now she knew what a Cress laugh sounded like coming out of her mouth.. Ech. "Beg? Hah! The only thing I'll be begging for is for you to forgive me, because I have a hard time believing your black flames make your fire any better than mine!" But of course she was easy to rile up though, mixing Saiyan and Fire Elemi made for a temperamental little mix. Of course, as far as she knew, she was just a Saiyan hybrid with a little something more than your average Earthling had. Up to this point, her blue fire had been unique to herself and her mother.

She couldn't let this person scare her- She had heard some mentioning of the name from back when the tournament was kicking off, but to back down and falter now would make her look like a coward, and her pride wouldn't let that happen. "Don't go discrediting a nice, solid blue either! Your black edges look cool, sure, but if you wasted time making those be a thing.. Well then it was just that, a waste of time. If you're so strong, maybe that time would have been better spent turning up the heat." Some part of her was almost physically in pain from the almost unintentional fire pun, but that seemed just about the best way for her to word it. "Anyway.. I don't need your help! I can get plenty strong all by myself! And I don't need to add colorful edges to my fire to feel like it."

Annoy her it did. To a point she nearly had to bite her lip to keep from getting ahead of herself and ascending into super saiyan as an angry response. Comparing forms with a Tournament of Power-goer would probably do a lot more terraforming than any amount of boulder punching she might do, even in the span of two years. "D-Damn you.." She grumbled, her fist growing tighter alongside her increasing levels of irritation. "Lotta words with no proof.. I don't gotta believe it 'till I see it." The hybrid grumbled, the flames around her increasing in their size and moving about a little more violently to reflect Kohlrabi's mood.

"I'm not looking to make this planet any hotter than it already is with it's stupid lack of a moon, though. As much as I like thinking you're just boasting I don't wanna get in trouble for picking the wrong fight." Kohlrabi huffed, fidgeting somewhat. Stupid planet, stupid Saiyan pride- those two things didn't have very similar interests when it came to the counselor's decision making."..An' what kinda Saiyan wears something as uncomfortable as panties if they aren't trying to get their ladydick wet?" She said ladydick metaphorically, of course.
