"3 Locations, one here, one back to the ship and another at the island. Good, this is going well." The scientist thought to herself, sitting near a plateau with a sort of 'crack' in the middle of it. Wide enough for a couple of people to go through. She was under a tent typing on a laptop while music was playing. It was quite obvious that she was not hiding her power, more-so she couldn't really hide it passively, she had attempted it but it was too taxing for her to do so, she hadn't mastered the technique just yet.
"This planet contains an ample amount of minerals and resources far beyond Earth's capacity..." She went quiet as she typed her research paper, she went quiet typing as fast as she could while thinking as fast as she could. She did in-depth analysis of the planet and its interior, so far she had found the predicted amounts of elements underneath the surface, computer modeling is a great thing to have and she really benefitted from it. She was ready to leave this planet but not quite yet, she just needed to finish what she started, and who knows maybe she'd find someone here that would converse with her.
As she finished typing a few pages, she stood up and stretched. Walking out of the tent and just staring at the sky, she tried looking towards the horizon for anyone who might be strong near her area, she didn't need the confrontation from someone she didn't know, especially since she was close to the project, though if they could sense her ki it would feel very human, what was a human doing here? One might never know.
She thought about all of her past interactions, she was more comfortable around aliens than she was before that sure did change.

She couldn’t help but smile as she lied on the ground, her eyes closed as she relaxed under the blissful heat of three suns. She had been on this planet for so long, she had learned so many things, met so many people. That there was some sort of…peacefulness to it. Two years ago, she faced the threat of her evil half with Sai, and now it was nearly gone forever. The pain had disappeared so shortly after that, the moment of relief back then had made her cry. Not of pain but crying because of pure joy. It had felt like she had finally found herself, who she fully was then. No more mystery, no more memory relapses. It was all just as one being. She didn’t even refer to her evil half as such much anymore. In a way they had became one person from two split entities. Like the namekian fusion and yet different as well.
She didn’t dare spend those two years slacking off however, every moment of her time had been devoted to training with Beat for their eventual mission together, the coexistence peace between Remnant Alliance and Earth. She wasn’t going to be able to rely on Beat’s help as much if they were on two different planets after all. Luckily for Beat, now that she had became one whole of a person instead of the split like before. Her power had shot to its true maximum. Her base power being on par with most of the full powered Super Saiyans even. Possibly stronger than even them. How much more she was going to grow was truly a question for her, however, she was going to find some way one day to grow stronger without requiring absorption. She had to, if she didn’t. It was only a matter of time before the worst was to happen. Someone stronger than her perhaps, who knows really or if she was to defeat someone, how was she still going to keep control the inner Majin urges inside of her. While it did become easier to resist now that her other half was one with her. A dangerous secret she hadn’t told Beat. Her evil half wasn’t fully gone. Part of their personality had…stuck with her. That part being the hunger. The curse of absorption of someone so close to her, had melded a part of them into herself. One of her reasons to not absorb the living. She wouldn’t put them through such pain, even the dead were only a last resort.
Such thoughts kept her afraid at nights. It was only a matter of time until she couldn’t resist the resolve to feed. It wasn’t till a sharp Ki had risen that she had snapped out of such a daydream. That Ki, it felt so…familiar. She wasn’t sure how to describe it, but it felt like…home. She would begin her walk towards the Ki source, spotting seemingly a humanoid there. She couldn’t spot a tail on them, and for that single moment. She was more excited than ever. “No way, it can’t be, another Earthling for once hah, and here I thought I was the only other purely earthling on this planet.”, she would begin to smile as she would be approaching ever closer. “The name’s Isabella Claire, of Earth.”, the seven foot three tall Majin would raise a hand out for a hand shake. Her tail moving slowly from behind side to side, like the wagging of a dog’s tail.
Sigma's attention was caught when her scouter had caught someone. She squinted her eyes and turned around, fully cautious of what could be behind her, even after these peaceful 2 years she never really did gain trust on the aliens of this planet, even with their hospitality she was trying to stay alert for discrimination, on a planet where most of them were green, her intuition tells her that they aren't always so kind to those with pale skin, and considering that Saiyans, a powerful group of people are intimidating enough were setting up camp here, she never did feel at ease when she saw someone she didn't know.
Though she did calm down a bit when hearing the words that came out from the pink woman's mouth."You are an Earthling too?" She felt relieved and even happy hearing these words. It had been so long since she actually went face to face with an Earthling, someone that might know what she's talking about, though there was that Beat fellow she was talking to 2 years ago, he was from Earth as well, however, the gap from interactions was driving her nuts, her sanity was questioned a bit since she spent so much time alone by herself, and she didn't know who to reach out, so this interaction actually made her very happy.
"My name is Sigma, I don't have a last name like you do." She said to her as she grabbed her hand and shook it firmly. She gave a smile back to the woman, though the bags on her eyes didn't make it seem like she was so happy. Sure the bags weren't that serious, but they were visible enough, it was clear she hadn't gotten as much sleep as an Earthling needs in their lives. "Well, what are you doing on Namek? Ms.Claire?" She asked, looking around silently, she was observing the area if this woman had any friends. Sure Earthlings were diverse, but that's what made them difficult to track at times, you couldn't tell who was faking it and who is real.
She needed to get her eyes off of the entrance of the cave since she didn't have much trust for this woman she should divert her into talking about something else. "Please have a seat, I'm sure you would also like to know what my business is on Namek." She drank her cup of tea and offered a water bottle towards Isabella before speaking about her mission. "My mission is to be one of the first people to observe Earth-like planets, according to many scientists, this is the farthest a human has ever gone, the late Dr.Briefs wrote many papers about this planet yet they were thrown out due to the fact that there was no evidence. I read these papers and decided to make it my mission to tell the scientific community that her studies were correct!"
She even turned her computer around to show her. She connected the laptop to a projector which projected many more screens and such. "These are all the statistics and data scientists could look for on this planet, and it also finds a common ground in between the data scientists found and the data Dr.Briefs found in the past. The two conflicted with each other, but it seemed that Dr.Briefs was correct, yet she had a little bit of a margin of error." She left it to show as she yawned, if this could take her eyes off of the cave then that was fine, after all, it was pretty rough, what she was doing down there.

There was that happy feeling she couldn’t quite explain upon having found another earthling on this planet. This sense of kinship that she welcomed, that there had been another survivor from the gruesome attacks on their home world. This was why things needed to change. Thing that she was going to make the steps to change once she got back. Those were the momenst she was looking forward to. The day they would be able to go back home. She would kill to feel the sands of the beach in front of her old home. The beautiful blue of the ocean in front of it. She could picture all the beauty she desired. She could almost feel it even, like a part of her she had never been able to truly embrace or be grateful for.
‘Those were the days back then. The day’s my family and I could just enjoy the warm embrace of the ocean. Those were also my darker times, when I wasn’t scared to fight to harm another. The times I could be cruel even. I have learned so much over my journey now. This next task almost seems impossible in some ways. It seems like I’m going to be carrying a new weight on my shoulder.’, Isabella would keep to her thoughts as she would follow the human towards a seat. A new game of questions to be approaching next it seemed, questions she felt obliged to answer. There was no need for dishonesty here after all.
She would begin to chat with Sigma, however while she wasn’t the most intelligent person on Earth, she was still slightly above the average, especially with the bio android memories she had inside of her, the one she had absorbed so long ago as their dying wish. She full well noticed the cave and their attempt to move away from it. ‘I do wonder what it is she could be trying to hide from me? I’ll raise the question later, for now I’ll try to find out more about them.’, she would keep to her own thoughts as she would begin to answer out loud.
“Well Sigma, I actually came to earth shortly after it was destroyed by that tree from the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. I came with what I would call a sister of mine…she’s…gone now. I’ve honestly been here still because I’m trying to better the relations between Earthlings and Saiyans, in some ways I’ve really been succeeding. In others…well Peace is never an easy path. However, eventually one of us needs to know when to just…close the box. It’s been a goal me and my friend Beat have been hard at work at. Well, at least with the Remnant Alliance, I don’t want to go towards the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, I don’t want to have another panic attack after all and…ya know…start something else.”, Isabella would begin to explain as she would take a sip of the offered water. “Out of curiosity do you have any more of that tea? Herbal Green is particularly my favorite.”, she would begin to say quite thankfully as Sigma would explain of why they were here on this planet as well.
“Ah, so is that why you were inside that cave then? Those bags on your eyes from lack of sleep, it can be hard to tell time after all when inside of a cave. Observing a planet from the outside is only a single stage of the step process after all. Need to see what went to the formation of a planet am I right?”, she would finish her own question.
Sigma listened to the story of the woman in front of her. It seemed that they had similar sounding stories in the first place. Though what shocked her was what she was told on how the Earth was destroyed. She hypothesized that it would be a meteor or something the humans did on their own. No, it was apparently a tree made by the Saiyans. There was a lot of jargon being thrown around and Sigma didn't actually know what most of it meant, although, she wanted to ask. She was new to this planet and was one of the first humans after Dr.Briefs to come in contact with Namekians and other aliens.
She had asked for some tea and Sigma would provide. She took out a canister and then poured the Tea down a cup."Of course, I would have more tea. Water doesn't always suffice when it comes to quenching the thirst after all. Though, could you explain to me some of the jargon you had used? What are the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, the Remnant Alliance, and all those other things? I was just a normal human being, unknowing of what was out there up until I came to this planet. Since then I've learned a lot, yet there is so much more to be explained to me."
She did feel empathy for the woman in front of her. It must be hard coming back to a desolate place devoid of life, especially if your loved ones were affected. She's never felt that before. She had just heard of the death of Earth. It was quite sad and she did miss those there but she didn't feel distraught towards those she had lost. It was odd, maybe she was just a sociopath, or maybe she hadn't found someone to fully care for on Earth. She had Letti and that was it. Speaking of which where was that little rascal of hers?
Sigma could feel the suspicion that this woman had on her. It was clear she was hiding something and no poker face could help her out here. There were safety cones on the cave and there was a lot of lights around it. There was even a metal fence that was guarding the entrance. Maybe she should have had been more underground with this, either that or she shouldn't have had bothered at all, well it was too late for excuses.
Her guesses were slightly correct."That is correct after all the only well-known planet us Earthlings really have studied is Mars and Venus, as well as the moons of other planets in our solar system. Namek is the first celestial body humans have observed outside of the solar system. Yet with only 1 person putting a scientific study on it, there is much debate about the legitimacy of Dr.Breifs studies. I'm just here to confirm it was true or not." It wasn't the complete truth but it was good enough. She covered the main objective she had. Not so much the hidden agenda she was hiding. Though one couldn't guess that she had a hidden agenda, she looked like she was a good person, and she was weaker than the average person in the area.
"So is it really it? Is Earth really gone?" Sigma asked for her curiosity, since it wouldn't make sense for her to continue her studies if there was no one to share it to. She already knew that other species on this planet were much more advanced than humans, so her studies here might just be repetition of something already obvious to the more powerful.
