Contact upon contact.
It was the first instance of her fists pressing into the body of her opponent, that paved the way to her own enjoyment of things. There was a need to hold back to an extent, with the kind of power that she held, but at the same time, they all knew that she needed to push herself. Test to see whether or not she'd be able to go beyond the limits of this form. Her strikes were fast, and struck with the kind of force that shoved them back as much as she needed to.
But whether or not they'd actually take it, or counter it with even stronger blows, it all depended on how prepared they were. The heat around her within this form, it was overwhelming, even if they couldn't really sense her power. But they had a whole two years to get used to this unknown presence.
What they couldn't really feel out, they could at least try and estimate what they'd need to overcome some of her blows. Though fighting her wasn't something meant to be easy, knowing that she had borrowed their techniques, and made it into her own, using the strength and speed she held.
The question of who she'd target first, always came up as well. A lot of them here were strong fighters, while some of them were only capable of taking a couple of her strongest hits. But with how many of them there were, their number alone was something that could give her a challenge.
A good portion of her allies had left their stations to come participate in what had become routine for them. It would cost them a few hours in healing tanks when it was all done and over with, though it was necessary. She needed to get as strong as she possibly could have to protect this planet.
They had gone through so many different approaches to fighting her, without entirely just using up all of their stamina, but she had rightfully always stood out ontop of things. The only one who would likely last the longest, though still manage to suffer heavy damage, was one of the few who stuck with her the longest. No matter how many times that she had fought everyone however, it was always a fresh experience for her, using this false god form against them.
To be able to access something like this and feel so powerful, whenever she had wanted, was a different kind of bliss from running on the adrenaline that speed could give. She was so assured of herself, and really knew what a taste of power really was, to be in this form. It was more than double of what she normally held, and purged away what thoughts there could have been, that she couldn't grasp some kind of happiness. Rid herself of doubts she had.
What did worries matter to her anymore, when she was so close to reaching the powers of a god? This was a taste of it, and for two years, she had seen so clearly what it was able to do. Outside of her own kind, and back when she was more of a newer Vampire, it had been so long since she had killed anyone.
Just what would it mean when she did with this power? The form was strong enough that attacks coming at her would hurt, as if it had come all at once, but then this aura would only eat away at all of the pain, until the next one came. But whatever she felt, would still mean nothing to her.
This power was something to laugh off those who didn't have this godly ki, and she could feel how much of it she was grasping as she moved around, careful not to go and use too much of it. The training facility of Yggdrasil, had been built to be large enough to train within this business district.
Only a few were allowed access to it, and its size was the only reason they wouldn't need to worry about damaging or collapsing the place. Knowing that the base of the building had once belonged to the Kolds, and a big portion of their technology had been used to create the society she had wanted.
If their technology was able to handle their suppression forms, then it was unsurprising to find that it was capable of withstanding them as well. She could have handicapped them and limited only the usage of non-energy based techniques, but that pain was something that she was interested in feeling.
And it all kicked off, the moment she had chosen who the first onslaught of her attacks would be. Tying her hair back into a ponytail, she smiled, feeling the excitement that came for the anticipation of this first bout. She was much faster than the silver-haired Vampire, and it was the look on all of their faces, that she knew would pave the way into a chain of attacks coming at her. Though this was only the start of things herself. Before her fists could press into the other Vampire, who'd have to struggle hard not to be pushed back, it was met by a pink wall of flesh.
What force she had put into her punches, was already much weaker than the power she could have mustered up, but they were fast strikes. Just not enough to outbeat the Majin's own speed. The only one within this place truly capable enough into going against a lot of these attacks, was the Majin.
But it was this close proximity, that she would use to her advantage. The last few strikes into this wall of flesh, transitioned into her jumping back, before she had clung onto that burst of power she knew she had within her. There was a certain hold needed to figuratively grab at it, and then a sudden push as she had expelled this power. The 'burst' was the kind of feeling that came again and again, as she let slip her ki. Her presence was something already overwhelming in the first place, and her targets were the forces that she was heavily weighing down with these technique of hers.
Belonging to Tanariul, although much more compressed than the dark wave that the Demon held, it was a technique they'd recognize from previous uses in past sessions. Just like that in a span of only a few minutes, the wall of flesh that she had punched quick enough to prevent grabbing at her, suddenly stretched itself all over to guard those nearby from this explosive technique. Again and again it had struck at the Majin in waves, threatening to knock her back.
But all of this was just the kind of momentum the others had needed. Various attacks had came at her in all directions, first with basic punches or kicks, then with energy based attacks. And she stood still all in the midst of it, waiting, and feeling out the coming powers that were headed at her.
The weight of them was nothing in comparison to her own, a fact that made it easy to smile, even as she braced herself for the attacks. She didn't block it, but the presence of her own power, was so much greater than theirs, that even with their basic punches pressing itself into her body, it wasn't enough to push her back. Not even a little. She had experienced this thing before, but it felt so much more impactful to possess all of this power at her grasps.
These basic blows had came at her, and what pain she was meant to feel was there, but was easily licked away by the fiery aura that had surrounded her. She could have easily dodged the attacks that came at her, but one by one she allowed them all to hit her. There was a clear difference between the basic punches they had launched at her, and these energy based attacks that were fired at her. It did budge her, however little, its warmth lingering.
When she had first started out as a Vampire, even with her new natural strength and speed, she had still found being hit as painful as it would have been, had she stayed a Human. It had taken so long for her not to really feel as much pain from fighting, as she previously had. But unlike certain other races who were capable of going at each other, without any trickling beads of sweat, getting stronger didn't mean she hadn't the need to work so hard.
But this power, and everything about it, was just amazing. She wasn't at all close to being tired just yet, and while the others appeared as if they were struggling, she didn't even feel any perspiration on her. It was so nice, seeing time and time again, that their blows only barely budged her.
They were using the kind of force meant to fling her back, but her own overwhelming presence weighed heavily against it. The first of their blows being basic punches, required them all to jump back, while these energy-based attacks were long-range enough for them to merely fire. In their eyes, she could see the natural surprise that came from seeing a friend hurt, only there was a special kind of perspective, brought onto what they knew of this spar.
"14,676,613."
All four of those who were here were wearing scouters, and they had gone through these procedures enough to have a gauge, on both her own capabilities, and that of their own. Punches could be measured, and blasts even more so, but how useful were they really, if they weren't capable of hurting her too much?
It was the silver-haired Vampire that had whispered those readings, the combined strength of their power all together at her. Although it was only the start of what they could do, knowing she had taught them not to waste their stamina, and this pause was just the very thing that she had needed.
Things were the same at first, with herself throwing basic blows, this time at the only Vampire with a lollipop in her mouth. She was too fast for the girl to really dodge it, and the struggle against being sent flying back was pretty clear, with the way that their auras had clashed against each other.
The lavender-haired Vampire was able to hold out, but for just how long? She could feel the Majin was still recovering, and this short timespan was what she had used to fully strike at her fellow Antediluvian, who despite her trying to block, was unable to resist this attempt being overpowered.
The girl wasn't knocked out, but sent flying back, which was the kind of thing she needed to go after her next target. Though struggling, she found the Majin had gotten up once again. At the same time, she could feel all around them, a mix of the group charging, and others firing off stronger attacks.
She stood still as she had before, eying around to go for her next target, which knowing the Majin's speed, was likely going to be the alien again. The others were likely to hit her, unless she overpowered their attacks, which was a waste of her own, knowing she had barely even used this form yet.
But here they all were, panicked thoughts likely running through their minds, if they were already gathering this much energy. Fighting against them through spars all at once like this, could only do so much when it came to experience. There were moments she could see where she could have already knocked out one of them. Touka hadn't chosen to heal herself, and the Majin was too busy preoccupied with allowing the others to charge their own blasts to heal as well.
With how she was the fastest within this room, even if the others had combined their attacks, she was likely to knock out someone, which would only leave three left. They likely knew this, and while she was a friendly face who wouldn't kill, what was there to do for those who weren't, but survive?
In the blink of an eye, faster than most of them would be able to even perceive, she had clashed with Miki, who she recognized was using the style she had taught everyone here. A reliance on speed, but also power, to really dish out and counter a target. But with the kind of gap there already was between them, why would something like this even matter? The one blow she needed to throw to push the girl back, was stalled by her forearm, but so was viceversa.
She could tell even despite the struggling however, the other Vampire lacked the energy to really do more than soften the blow a little bit, as she had pushed away the forearms stopping her from striking, and threw a weak blow at the girl. Nothing that had been enough to push the Antediluvian back, up until she had suddenly put more force into things. Like Touka, it wouldn't knock her out, but those two were now much weaker than they already were.
There were those who might have assumed she would have finished the lavender-haired Vampire off first, or keep going after the Majin, knowing the alien had suffered the most damage. They were approaches she had taken many times before in past sessions, and what surprise there was from this one, wasn't any different. There was only so much variation that could have been shown, and so much effort she could really put in herself to not make this a wipeout.
But it was getting there. The only one who wasn't particularly worn out, was Natsumi, who at the moment, she allowed to continue charging that attack. It was barely even a couple of minutes when she had overpowered Miki, that unreadable expression of the Vampire, serving to be something she knew would be useful in the future. As an Antediluvian, enemies and weaker Vampires, weren't meant to know that they could really hold any fear against threats.
It was much easier for her to say, as someone with power, but that was just what made her different than the others. If they could all reach the level that she held, they would have likely ruled the universe by now. What did Saiyans really matter, when they couldn't take the power of others?
Walls of flesh were flung at her next, being faster than the remaining attack that was coming at her, and momentarily struggling against the waves of ki she had blasted, to keep the flesh away from her. She could feel the Majin struggling, but knew what more power was added wasn't meant to overpower her, and instead lessen the incoming blow. The alien was pushed back, taking whatever remaining damage there was within her own technique.
Still nothing that would push the girl into being unconscious like the others, but left the only one standing without any struggling to be Natsumi. The girl had been prepping herself, gathering what energy was needed to really make this attack something. It was useless of course. She could easily overpower it, as she had with everyone else here. Even dodge what amount she could feel was being gathered right now. Though instead, she had stood still again.
To be hit by any of these techniques, was something most would have wanted to avoid. But pain was a measurement, a reminder that she hadn't reached a point in her life, where even something like that could be numb to her. There were a lot of things about being alive that was tiring, and with how Vampires only continued to have consciousness within this realm because of bloodmagic, it could be a taxing thing to be an ageless being around mortals.
There were those apart of her community who'd go on to live what they consider to be a full life, before passing on, and others who continued to persist. Survive, until the time had came for their deaths, knowing that dying in battle was as natural of one, as they'd ever get. What did it mean to live for someone like her, without pursuing something beyond living longer than her predecessors? She had been given options, met people who could change her.
But in the end, it all came down to fighting against what made life exhausting. There were a lot of past troubles to move on from, possibilities of unhappiness from some foolish individual that believed themselves to be different. Their own self-imposed chosen one that came out of the blue.
Ontop of all of this, was how restless she'd feel, without exerting an enormous of energy. A cost of what it meant to be a permanent Antediluvian. Transformations were just that for a reason. To go against what was natural, a transition, there was unsurprisingly consequences to this power.
She allowed the single force of the silver-haired Vampire's fist to struck at her, that hand visibly twisting as she suddenly felt the blow of what it was meant to be. Power like theirs, concentration like these, was the very thing that gave off the feeling of collapsing. It was as if she was struck, only to be suddenly yanked back. It was meant to hurt, and it did, this technique being one of the few that were really able to budge her from where she stood.
If this much power was what it took to even push her, how long would someone be able to last, if she was trying to kill them? She had been holding back so far, not even using half of the power within this form, and the restlessness that she'd feel without exerting herself, wasn't just as simple as firing off techniques that required a lot of her energy. It was reaching the peaks of this form, really feeling out what it meant to have this power, and losing it.
The others she could feel were low in energy, though some of them, she could tell were opting to heal themselves now. It brought attention to her own condition, where bruises and the like were visible. The littlest of movements brought on pain, but they were nothing that she couldn't bear.
All of this stopping and standing around, did more harm to them than herself. Though she had gotten hit so much, she wasn't using as much energy as they were, and while her fellow Antediluvian had yet to be struck by her, their low energy was what would pave the way into her finishing things.
Her energy was recovered, but so were theirs somewhat. The Majin was the only one here capable of pushing herself enough to pass her, and while they had clashed again and again, what did these efforts even mean, when she hadn't yet tried going beyond what little energy she had already used?
She gave them the chance to do what they could to her, and now they were going down. Charging forward, she had been the one to strike first at the Majin, her speed being the very thing that made the technique worthwhile. The punches she threw into that wall of flesh that blocked her, forced the alien backwards, wind releasing with each blow. No matter how much she could feel those walls squirming around, struggling, it just wasn't enough.
This was more than half of her power, and even with the kind of effort she felt within her lungs, just performing the attack, all of this wasn't the end for her. She knew the form could still go on longer, its presence being the very thing that felt so right with the world. The last strike she held against the Majin, she could really feel herself pressing into the folds of that skin, before she moved on, going off to fire numerous amounts of ki waves.
She held back. She always held back against them. This form, the only thing that really made her a god, wasn't something that would change that. She was meant to surpass them, if gaining this power was any sign at all, but what did being a god matter, without the proper support behind her?
Natsumi was the one she had struck down next, using only slightly more than half of her power. To overwhelm an opponent through the number of her own attacks. That's what this technique was meant to be, and even with the gap in power level she held against all of them, she did find herself pushed.
Part of it was knowing just what would be coming for her. She and everyone here, had hope that she could surpass the limits of this False God form, and that one of these spars would wind up being enough to do exactly that. But she already knew the answer, that it was too unlikely to happen.
She hadn't grown all that much stronger yet, since drinking the blood belonging to the Queen of Demons. Which only meant that she was still far from being on the level the King of Saiyans held. The hold of this power was still here though with her, and she used what time she had left, to go and deliver a flurry of punches at the remaining two who were still around. Touka, she knew to be the most likely to heal, and though she knew these fast strikes of hers were weak, it was the feeling of pressing into her target's body that had mattered. Her own exertion into dishing out what damage she really could have.
The lavender-haired girl had struggled, pushing back against the force that could have sent her flying, with what energy the Vampire had left. Ontop of what healing the Matriarch might have done, she knew it was enough to have the girl continue remaining conscious. There were looks of disgruntled expressions in their wakes, as she felt this power of hers slipping away, and along with it, the red hair and fiery aura that she had gained from using the form.
The pain had come all at once at her, body slightly convulsing as she was supported by the least injured at the moment, Miki. Though a soft smile had formed from her, once the feeling did pass, leaving only the feeling of how tense her body really was all over. She would wind up being put in the healing tank like the others for a couple of hours, something she did tend to look forward to, as with any other body of water meant to be a cleanse for her.
There were a lot of words that she could have spoken, but they all knew that this had ended in another failure. Beyond her own energy being used up as it should have, all they could really do from this point on, was carry on like normal. There was always going to be hope for a change to happen, but she needed to get stronger first. None of it was their fault, as being this powerful, didn't mean that there was going to be some easy growths into godhood.
All they could do was wait and hope.
