Personality
Batt is, an odd little women to say the least. She’s not a shy or socially insecure per say, Batt just lacks doesn’t get social cues for the life of her, she’s very weird and awkward and has many traits or hobbies others would see as questionable, but Batt doesn’t care, why should see care? Batt is a very quiet and in-the-background kinda person at first, until she’s around friends she doesn’t tend to talk and most assume her to be mute or deaf until she’s proven otherwise. But she is surprisingly easy-going even towards strangers despite her lack of towards up front. When around close friends Batt is actually shown to be very talkative and friendly given time. Batt is very, very chatty, maybe even a bit rambling if no one bothers to stop her. She can actually be very charming if not a bit silly and dorky in her own way. Batt sees herself as a natural genius and often doesn’t worry about situations till she has to face them, often making herself rather impulsive. Batt even if 36 years old, hasn’t ever really matured, making her still very naive to the world around her.
Batt lacks a real spine sometimes, and will try to lie or squirm her way out of a situation, she a thief not a fighter and really would prefer talk over teeth and claws. She’s not a terrible person per say, but she can be a coward and will put herself before others. She really doesn’t like to account herself for her actions, and would rather run from a problem then face it head on. That’s all bat has really known for most of her life though, she grew up alone, fought alone and ate alone, old habits are hard for her to let go off. Batt especially has terrible sticky fingers and no concept of what she can and can’t have which ends her up in a lotta trouble sometimes.
Batt often struggles with reading or writing due to being raised on the street, lacking any form of education, because of this, Batt has trouble speaking and reading and will often Butcher words. This leads to quirks such as nicknames and the need to refer to herself in third person just to make things easier for herself.
Batt has very weird tastes for interests such as dumpster diving, dagger hoarding and a far more dangerous hobby, jewellery stealing.

Backstory
Batt had been a young girl with no home, no friends and most of all no family. She'd grown up being passed around from foster home to foster home for all of her life, ever since she was a child meaning she never knew of her human parents. Batt hated it, she hated the cruel conditions, and the lack of food, and the overall terrible life styles theses families would force Batt to suffer through. Batt only grew to distrust and dislike most people around her, fearing they'd only hurt her as well.
Eventually when Batt turned fourteen she started to make plans, plans to run away, and for the next year or so she stocked up on supplies in secret, her foster caregivers catching none of her plans. A few days after her sixteenth birthday, Batt completely booked it, taking everything she had with and leaving the dump of a lifestyle behind.
Though the streets weren't any better for Batt, they where cold and lonley, and at least back at foster care they'd sometimes give you warm food. She felt like a total idiot, she'd screw everything up? Hadn't see, and now she'd spend most of her nights sleeping in the alleyways and barely scrapping by for food and drinkable water. With no choice left, Batt turned to the only things she can think of, theft. Within a few months Batt had managed to find herself enough to survive, honing her skills in pick pocketing and stealing, though she knew this wasn't right, she could of at least justified it to herself, for now.
Things had been going alright for Batt, until one night she was caught red handed in her attempts at snatching a young man's wallet, angered and following his instincts, he attacked and stank his teeth into the young girl - only to realise it had no been a harden criminal attempting to mug him, but a petty thief and a young girl. Surprisingly, the young vampire must of the pitted the young girl, or felt some form of guilt as he offered to save her life just after latching into her. Batt was scared, but she was also drowsy and bloodied, close to bleeding out, and with no other options she could see at the time, she agreed.
Whatever had happened to Batt that night had been a blur and a confusing mess, but she'd woken up to one thing that was true, the bite marks around her neck. It took a while for Batt to cope with what she really had turned into, but give a few years and so and she did what she did best, adapted. For most of her undead life she spent most of her time feeding off street animals, and even thought she no longer needed to steal for food or water, she still has a bad habit of taking things, even now.
