NACKLE "well, that planet's done! let's see what stop's up next, aye?"

Personality
If Nackle was to be summed up in one word, "hedonist" would be a very apt choice. He's from a species that doesn't need food to subsist, but scarfs down any delicacy he can get his hands on. He liberally uses his Magic Materialization technique to make himself fancy clothing or tools he's too lazy to get himself. Even his life choices arose from little more than boredom at the peaceful life the Namekian people tend to lead. This hedonism can take a variety of faces. At time, it's almost entertaining. Time with Nackle is often time spent feasting, joking, and singing space shanties. He doesn't hoard his joy for himself but instead shares it with those around him, especially friends and crew members. Heck, he'll even go out of his way to secure favors for those he's particularly fond of.
The problem is that this hedonism is often at the expense of others. After all, Nackle is a space pirate by trade. When push comes to shove, the fine foods, loot, and adventure he seeks tend to be plundered rather than earned legitimately. He isn't necessarily out to start a fight. If he's ever able to procure these peacefully, or through threats without bloodshed, that's all the better. However, if Nackle wants something, and someone else has it, he'll be willing to start a fight for it. It might even be fun! Nackle may prefer delegating to actually fighting, but watching the crew get to work is always a good time. And if Nackle needs to step in, so be it. It can be fun getting a proper workout sometimes. This can be leveraged into less rowdy means, such as bounty hunting or mercenary work, but when those contracts dry up its back to plundering and pilfering for Nackle.
Nackle isn't much for beating around the bush. He's old enough to start pruning, for crying out loud! He doesn't have time for games. He's direct in his words and actions, and also in the advice he gives. While this can be rather blunt, it isn't usually meant poorly. Usually. He doesn't appreciate his time being wasted, but he'll still look out for his own whenever he can. In the past he has been rather flippant and dismissive, but being fresh off of a mutiny has forced him to learn and adapt.
Similarly, Nackle has developed quite a canny nature in his old age. While it is true that he is direct in his actions, he always makes sure to keep a plan, backup, or scheme cooking in the back of his head. This is especially true in fights, where Nackle prefers clever thinking, dirty tricks, and leveraging allies over achieving true martial arts strength. In his mind, what's wrong with that? A fight has two outcomes, Win or Lose, and nobody's gonna care about what happened in-between except the loser.
His philosophy of doing whatever it takes to win leads to Nackle being okay with taking his losses. If he's been outsmarted or outmuscled, so be it. That just means the other person in the fight was better. Nackle will often end a failed raid surprisingly amicably, thanking the target for a fun time and making his departure. He'll even do the same for those he's successfully bested, giving them advice and maybe even a consolation prize for their troubles. He even offers them a few days to challenge him to get their booty back. Is this a very efficient way of performing piracy? Heck no. But much like everything else in his life, Nackle is in it for the entertainment and the experience.
