"Hohum, looks like heavy weighted clothes is in discount at the moment..." a figure cloaked with red hood muttered. The figure looked just about 10 or 11 judging from his height alone. Under the coat they wear a thick, long sleeved shirt and pants that as equally covering his skin. The only oddity in this is how he's mostly barefeet. From their voice, it's not quite obvious yet whether he's a boy or a girl... and it's not helping that their face is rather feminine. However, the mannerism is stereotypically those of a boy. What does this figure doing sitting near a ledge of a cliff? Well, as for that...
Tug tug
"OHO!?"
The figure leaped to their feet and grabbed the fishing pole. Despite their size, their strength is almost equal to an adult saiyan. Well, they're not a full saiyan however. The force from their attempt to pull the fish up caused the hood portion of their cape flopped to the back, revealing pointy, dogike ears. Meawhile, there are no ears on the sides of their head. The tail hidden under their coat wagged in excitement. The fish that hopped out of the water to struggle against the pulling force is quite a sizable one. It looked like a rockfish with emerald green scales. It's roughly about the size of the youth themselves.
The struggle between the two unfortunately (for the fish) is in the youth's advantage. The moment they pulled for the last time, the fish soared to the sky momentarily, before landed just right behind the youth.
"Yosh!"
The youth name is Reg, a boy, 12 years old. In this planet of Saiyans, he's one of those saiyans with mixed blood in him. In his case, it's a quarter canid. No one can really sense his power level... only him know how strong he is... well, in theory that is. But frankly, even Reg himself have no exact understanding how strong he is. Not that it matters that much for him. To him, the stronger he is the better, that's all to it. After all, in a society like this, the stronger you are, the more respected you are. That's why...
"...Hmmm, to sell this or not..."
The dilemma is still there. If he sells the fish, obviously he still won't get enough for the clothes, but he might have covered 1/10 of the price. Still, this is his first catch since a while. He need a lil bit more time and strength to hunt bigger preys like Dinosaurs. His mother said something along of the effect of "those who doesn't hunt their food must buy their food, but if you're a hunter and you can't catch anything for yourself then you're a disgrace of a hunter". Thus he feel like it's better to eat it or something...
"...Gee... this is some tough choice..."
Reg ultimately is still in dilemma, but he guess he'll go to the village later to get some errands to do. It might be pocket money, but he guess he'll be damned if he can't eat just because a huge fish could pay 1/10 of a heavy weighted clothes. For now... It's time to cook this fish! He's hungry! This is his first hunt for the day! Thankfully he came prepared. He don't have to look for firewoods. He got enough here to cook the fish. It'll be better if there are herbs though... hmmm... he guess he'll go looking for those first before anything. As much as he's a wolf, he's not fond of the fish' fishy aftertaste. He should be alright if there are some wild citrus and various other herbs to season it. If he's lucky, he might find some beehives...
