PERSONALITY
Gelus is rather pathetic by anyone else's standards. They always soft-spoken and polite despite there emotionless tone and always endlessly say sorry for the mistakes they make. Though Gelus's apologies ultimately seem empty, and are more a automatic response in hopes of not being hurt rather then actual empathy. Gelus, has no real qualms in taking another person's life, but understand's morally, it's wrong and often wishes they could feel something, anything for what they've done. Despite there occupation Gelus seemly has a lot of there own issues, and suffer from a few different mental illness to the abuse they'd suffered from there up bringers.
Gelus often struggles to make choices for themselves, after being someone else's lapdog for so long Gelus doesn't cope well without orders. They do realise there's really nothing they can do by this point, already having abandoning there old family, but old habits die hard and they have trouble trying to figure themselves out through all of this.
Depressed, would be a good way to describe Gelus, there's almost a sesne of loss or sorrow around them, they seem rather hollow as a person but seem to almost carry a overwhelming feeling of sadness and someone can't help but find themselves feeling the same way if they spend far to long with Galus. Gelus, whether by genetic or social issues, cannot understand other people feels, or well, from what they understand, hell, their sure they cannot feel themselves, itself which is a mystery.
They seemly have a distaste to people who looked at them for two long and try to cover there face with usually masks or some forms of shadow magic which doesn't always work.
BACKSTORY
For a rather long time a small amount of Sayians of Universe 6 had always seen there brethren as rather weak, after so long a small group had managed to band together and create some form of, movement aginst the current Sayians and there leaders. This group was't thing big or open, of course not, that will be asking for death. Each movement of this organisation was planned, tactics where the most important thing they had, nor raw strength or the amount of Ki they could produce. Brain power was all that kept this from falling apart after all. Those who dared joined kept there mouth shut, and anyone who ever seem to slight peep something out was dealt with, and fast.
Gelus had been born into this group, not by blood, by rather when one of the co-leaders, Tomarla brought in a newborn, whom he reassured he hadn't kidnapped, of unknown origins. None one if the crew was even sure of what he was doing, most where even against it, and offered to just kill the child and be done with it. While yes Gelus stood out like a sore thumb among the black hair and deep, dark eyes of the other Sayians, a secret weapon was Tomarla's plan. And one that could be used a pawn two, if Gelus where to die in battle no one important would need to go, besides hoods and cloaks could always hide there demonic features such as the horns or pointed ears.
Tomarla raised Gelus as a object, a item and a solider, Gelus never had a childhood. Training was the only thing Gelus knew of and the slightest mistake would end in terrible that left Gelus with many scars and wounds, psychically and mentally. Tomarla was ruthless to there apparent child going so far as to leave them with food for numinous days or even break Genlus's fingers individually at one point for disobeying orders. Gelus was to never go outside, not even once unless told so, and never truly interacted with people outside of the group. Gelus was the perfect, rule-following servant, but a terrible and pained existence of a person.
Genlus's jobs started out small, usually scouting areas, stealing things or just spying on people as a young child, but as they grew older things become more and more harsh. What started out as simple eavesdropping become full on murder as Genlus's work had become hunting down and erasing whoever dared stand in the Tomarla's way. Genlus's victims had been usually spread out, well planned and tended to be people important enough to raise suspicious but not enough to link anything together. By the time Genlus has reached there early twenties, the blood spilt on there hands was nothing more then an everyday occurrence, but mentally, Genlus was starting to crack and fall apart.
24 years of abuse, and something in Tomarla's child was starting to clearly tick, a feeling of stress and fear that Tomarla would straight up kill them one day if they'd so much as screw up agian. The final push was when Tomarla held Genlus by there own throat, Tormarla had never been a man of strength, but neither was Genlus, threatening to rip there tongue out after Genlus had spoken up aginst him. That night, while Tomarla slept, Genlus had managed to sneak in, using the shadows as there guide as hybrid finally, murdered there own father in his sleep.
Tormarla's death was quick and painless, something he clearly didn't deserve but Genlus couldn't do any worse fearing they may of awaken him. The assassin clearly had no choice but to book it, travelling what felt halfway across Sadal just to feel safe, just to be nowhere near the Sayains and there leader who'd taken everything from them.
As of late Genlus has been living in the streets, hood down, mask out, trying to not completely fall apart due to the onset of loneliness, depression and PTSD that stalk them as they just try to get by, managing to stay alive and free from prison, for now.
