Through the dust and devastation wrought in the wake of his own attack the Anubian peered with keen eyes and though he swept them up and down to the ruins of this tunnel or that he neither saw nor sensed his target. Though to be perfectly honest he hadn’t expected much of the latter on the weight of what he’d experienced so far. Who even knew that mortals could build such things? He might even have been impressed if he wasn’t quite so angry. What he COULD see however, what he COULD feel clearly enough as though she were standing next to him was the sword wielder who seemed to have some connection to Crystal.
’Oh? It would appear I stumbled upon something rather interesting.' The hair, the aura, the power, none of it was the same exactly but even so it took him back to that time. As events unfolded before him he absent mindedly ran his hand over the scar on his cheek, going over it back and forth with the back of his index finger. No, in fact it wasn’t the same at all was his conclusion when he beheld the prone form of the pink haired girl, out of it for now but still very clearly alive. He continued to just stand and stare in reverie while the swordswoman went on about the Kaiser or whatever it was, though he was paying enough attention to be irked at the presumption of her tone.
With her spiel finished the Saiyan woman flew off to… to deal with whatever and left the girl there with Crystal. Sinthe was suddenly snapped back in to the moment when she had something to say to him and something about good food at that. Still only half in the moment he gave a non-committal nod and grunted his assent, but didn’t really start paying attention again until Crystal made to leave.
Raising his arm he tracked the progress of the Kaioshin’s girl and her impromptu cargo with a finger. As they slipped further and further away he lit up a tiny ball of ki on the tip of his claw as a predatory smile curled the edges of his mouth. ’Hmph. Whatever,’ he said aloud, having only just decided as much himself as he dispersed his attack and raised up into the air. He had been so keyed up all of a sudden by this fight that he’d almost gone and gotten carried away altogether, even if he was a little annoyed that it had been stolen out from under him he’d gotten something good out of it. Or rather, it’d better turn out to be something good or his talk with Crystal would not turn out nearly the way she likely hoped it would. Though normally he wouldn’t pay mortals any particular heed he made special note of the place and the name, Satan City, Mila Ah Vira.
Even if he was leaving empty handed, he thought, he still had one debt due that was worth chasing up. Somewhere a little ways off to the South there was a flustered looking chef awaiting his return and that too made him smile. Although there was one thing that still bothered him. ’The hell is a duck?’

Stick On Third Eye: A googly eye which adheres to the wearer's forehead. When worn it allows the user to negate the effect of any OT1 energy wave attack once per thread and only once per calendar month. While exceedingly useful in dispatching whatever misfit minions may ensue it does however make you look faintly hilarious. - Costs 2 stamina

The Anubian’s leg jarred as it struck the pink sphere forming around his opponent, a basic enough barrier technique it would seem, but effective nonetheless as when he strained against it all he managed was to push off of it. Flipping backwards he immediately raised his hands into a defensive posture, now determined that he wouldn’t be taken unawares and expecting a counterattack even as Crystal’s attack crashed against the same defense. Seemed like that cryokinetic ability of hers was no joke either. He watched, almost dumbfounded, when instead of heading to her or him the enemy instead went straight down and plunged into the ground. ’I thought I said—ugh, you know what? Forget it.’
Still, the Kaioshin’s girl was right. To be able to block both attacks, that’s some power output if that thing came from this planet. Yet it seems far more concerned with evading all of us now. Not just looking to start a fight then, as if it even matters. Once the pink haired girl had fully disappeared beneath the ground Sinthe was quick to follow, dropping out of the sky and landing just off to the side of where she’d burrowed down. It seemed strange at first to up and bury oneself in the midst of battle but if there were tunnels or caverns under this place then it made all the sense in the world, particularly as they could not perceive her power to a man, for her to mount an escape through that route. Sinthe however was not about to spend the best part of the next few hours scrabbling around filth encrusted tunnels and wading through heaven only knows what. Honestly this whole venture had already consumed what little patience and temperance he possessed, he couldn’t rightly just step away as though nothing had happened but there WAS food waiting for him back the way he’d come.
Well there damn well better be.
Widening his stance Sinthe spread his arms out to either side as he began to gather his ki., a soft purple glow rising in wisps from around him which clung close to his body. He was having none of this! ’If you don’t get up here right now I’ll follow you right down to the core of this provincial little rock!’ His energy reaching its peak finally spilled out in all directions around his body, stripping away the earth and rock beneath him to carve out a crater and expose the tunnels which their common enemy had proposed to shelter in.

So I thought I'd be cool and give a little in to the common pot seeing as how you guys have been all helpful and accommodating and whatnot. Have some movie references.
Job Title: In Space No One Can Hear You Power Up Player Requirements: Level 4 Fighter, PTO, Kold Demon or Independent, must be space resistant. Job Requirements: 400 words, 25 posts Job Location: Free Space Story: A certain corporation approached you recently with a rather lucrative offer. Apparently they had purchased the rights to a system quite close to you and had intended to install a structure around its star to capture and harness its energy output, you believe you’ve heard the theory of such a thing discussed under the name of a Dyson sphere. What no one told them was that the system in question is actually inhabited and as you might well imagine the inhabitants aren’t overly keen on the idea of someone turning off the lights on them. With the local species’ resisting and the board unable to find another buyer the company faces severe losses. That is… unless someone can remove the –ahem- issue. Mission Goal: Wipe out the local forces protecting the star.
Enemies:
Alien Marines – Denizens of the system who use enviro-suits to be able to function and fight in space. They are generally very weak, requiring blasters in order to harness their ki for attacks but they have great numbers on their side.
Alien Officers – Though they require the same enviro-suits to be able to function out in space, these elite warriors are able to manipulate their own ki without blasters. Though none are quite on your level they seem to be able to provide something of a workout and you’ve noticed about a half dozen or so milling about in the ranks.
Alien Commander – Both a powerful combatant and experienced warrior, the Alien Commander can not only harness his ki free of technological aid but is also able to survive in the vacuum of space. Like any good CO he doesn’t jump in right away, preferring instead to lead from the rear and organize the battle accordingly. Despite this you sense a power which might rival even your own.

Job Title: What Has Science Done!? - Genisys Player Requirements: One Level 3 Fighter, sunglasses and biker leathers optional. Job Requirements: 300 words, 20 posts Job Location: Earth, West City Story: Earth has always struggled to defend itself against intergalactic threats, largely lacking the apparatus to train powerful fighters and populated as it is by species’ which are generally weaker than those of the wider galactic community. What it DOES have on its side is technology and a singular penchant for innovation, that and a lot of unused bodies. A few months ago you heard about a special program called the Genesis Initiative which would take willing volunteers, the clinically brain dead and condemned criminals and rebuild them, make them stronger, faster, better, putting them under the control of an advanced AI whose sole mission was to protect the Earth and its people at all costs. Because that couldn’t possibly go wrong. Admittedly when the fruits of the project were unveiled you weren’t entirely unimpressed, but when they started firing in to the crowd… eh, not so much. Apparently the advanced Cloud AI was thinking ahead and had decided that the biggest threat to Earthlings were Earthlings themselves. Go figure. Not being particularly keen on subjugation or conversion you power up and enter the fray. Mission Goal: Defeat the Cloud Specimens and Destroy the Main Server
Enemies:
Cloud Specimens – Volunteers, donors and criminals mostly of Earthling or Zoanthrope origin, with the installation of mechanical parts their power has been drastically enhanced, of particular note are their scouters moulded to the left side of their faces and the blaster conversions fitted in place of their right arms. Their power is certainly nothing to sniff at but at first anyway they seem to be more bothered with rounding up Earthlings fro ‘processing.’ At least there aren’t that many of them, but you’d better break into the sub-levels and find that server with the control program fast.

Job Title: What Has Science Done!? – Rise of the Machines Player Requirements: One Level 3 Fighter who has NOT completed “Genisys” Job Requirements: 300 words, 20 posts Job Location: Earth, East City Story: So you remember how a couple of weeks ago West City was saved from an AI rebellion? Apparently the aptly named Cloud had the presence of CPU to upload itself to the internet and has now infected a fleet of construction robots (why do construction robots even need wifi?) and broken in to a lab in East City which the general hubbub holds was working on some kind of medical nanotechnology. Oh goodie. Mission Goal: Defeat the Cloud Nodes
Enemies:
Cloud Node – Constructo-Bot 5000 –The CB5K while one of the older serviceable models in circulation is generally dependable, having been voted Least Likely to Head an AI Insurrection three years running. Its main frame stands at around 8’0” though it can retract its limbs to stand at about 6’ should it need to enter more confined spaces. Its default configuration features two vice-like lifting forks capable of expanding, contracting and articulated in a full 360 degrees, these can be neatly folded away into the unit’s forearms to make room for a diamond toothed circular saw on the left and a high powered welding torch on the right. Why does a construction droid need these? Well if you have to ask you’d never understand.
Cloud Node – Nano-Cyborg – Nanobots now under the control of the Genisys Initiative’s Cloud control program have converted their bodies into primitive but powerful Androids all enslaved to its will. They maintain their outward appearance with little exposed circuitry across their skin but for all that they look basically the same their power is not to be underestimated.
Job Title: What Has Science Done!? – Judgement Day Player Requirements: One Level 3 Fighter who has NOT completed “Genisys” or “Rise of the Machines” Job Requirements: 300 words, 20 posts Job Location: Earth, North City Story: So you know how there was that other thing that happened in East City, there were robots and Nanobots that wanted to take over the world but there was this brave, dashing fighter there to suppress them? Turns out that they weren’t quite as suppressed as everyone thought. Only by a factor of one, but that one was more than enough to detonate itself in the heart of North City, covering the entire downtown area in a cloud of Nanobots that started infecting and converting humans. Thankfully your higher than average ki seems to overload and destroy the bots if they try to infect you, but they seem to be cooking up something rather special this time. Mission Goal: Destroy Cloud Nodes and Hold Off the Cloud Control Node
Enemies:
Cloud Node – Nano-Cyborg - Nanobots now under the control of the Genisys Initiative’s Cloud control program have converted their bodies into primitive but powerful Androids all enslaved to its will. They maintain their outward appearance with little exposed circuitry across their skin but for all that they look basically the same their power is not to be underestimated.
Cloud Control Node – Amongst the victims of this latest conversion the Cloud program took the strongest single body and applied several special upgrades to it before downloading its core program to the unit. Now it uses the platform as its primary control node as well as a frontline combat unit. Though it does not look terribly different from the other Nodes its speed and power are both many times the regular rank and file and—wait… did it just absorb your ki blasts? Well this isn’t gonna be fun.

With all of its drone Nodes destroyed and it confined to a single body for the moment Cloud is more vulnerable than it’s ever been. Granted, that body just spent the better part of five minutes knocking one of you all up and down North City, but with the three of you together you might just have a chance to finally clean this mess up proper. Mission Goal: Defeat Cloud once and for all!

Sinthe’s ears twitched attentively at the mention of the Kais, though this Crystal was circumspect as to whether she served the Kais or Kaioshin any Shinjin was a start. This didn’t stop him wrinkling his brow at her familiarity though. ’You know and I don’t even get so much as a curtsy? Either their standards are slipping or I must really have declined in stature these past few centuries.’ He suspected both to be the case but regrettably the somewhat rude emissary had a point well made. Wreaking such havoc didn’t exactly come easy, particularly not to mortal beings and the fact that neither of them could apparently sense any ki coming off of the aggressor didn’t help.
There was definitely something to be said for humility when one approached combat, but for someone who had been born to and once wielded incredible power it was not so much an imperative as it would have been to anyone else. To his detriment, Sinthe was still thinking like a galactic scourge and not the much reduced figure which now hovered with Crystal and the pink pandemonium they were set to engage. As a result he’d left himself pretty much wide open and even though he tried to raise his guard when he realized an attack was coming he couldn’t have predicted it would be from such a low vector.
He hunched forward at the first blow, his eyes bulging noticeably, his voice catching in shock in his throat and his hands clutching at his attacker’s shoulders for support as much as leverage. He soon found himself brushed off though and thrown to the icy ground where he bounced somewhat limp before coming to rest.
’I’m okay… can I just… m’okay…’ Straining to reach his feet again the Anubian rolled his shoulder blade where the second strike had impacted, stretching out the muscle which burned faintly with complaint. ’Fine, if that’s the way it’s going to be.’ He gave another growl, tensing up as his ki rose yet again before suddenly halting. He’d meant to take it easy until his strength had recovered to some greater extent, but there were just some things that couldn’t be tolerated.
Seems as though this is the maximum I can exert just now, still lethargic from waking up after so long it would appear. No choice but to work with it now though. On the bright side though, the upsurge of energy, comparatively paltry as it was to his heyday, made him feel much more like himself. With a much fiercer scowl than he had warn previously he ascended again, floating in front of the opponent, between her and Crystal.
’Based on that last strike I think I can fend her off in hand-to-hand near enough… I’m having sort of an off day if you can’t tell already.’ Now there was an understatement. ’ When she opens up to try and attack me, you hit her with your strongest attack.’ He spoke calmly, simply, but with an air in his voice which suggested that he expected her cooperation. Sinthe generally did not like working with other fighters, he trusted neither their dependability nor their strength, but beggars could scarce afford to be choosers and he was out of options near enough. He could of course just stand down and leave, but that would be the first time in a long, long time that he’d done that.
Besides which, the feeling of being up against it as he was had faded far in to the deepest recesses of his memory, if it weren’t so inconvenient he would be almost grateful for the series of events which had led him here. For all that he already felt pressured and perhaps a tiny bit anxious, it wasn’t altogether a bad feeling. That in mind he raised his hands, taking a stance before rushing in towards the pink haired youngster, he darted to the right, balling his fist and winding up as an obvious tell. Instead of following through though he swung back the other way, throwing a spinning back kick towards his opponent instead aiming toward her midriff.
First discovering Takoyaki and now this, he was having a neat day.

’Something,’ Sinthe replied between mouthfuls, not really bothered about the Earthling’s questions so much as the delicious food he was touting out of his kiosk. It seemed like Planet Dirt had been worth the visit after all, even if he hadn’t managed to find anyone of proper import yet. Lancing another of the delectable dumplings with his claw he popped it in to his mouth and practically swooned in his seat at the flavor. It had been far too long since he’d indulged in the more basic pleasures of galaxy wide hedonism, in the distant past he would have trekked all over the universe looking for something this good with tearing worlds asunder a close but ultimately secondary aim.
‘Ah, that reminds me, will sir be paying with cash or credit?’
’Nope,’ came the simple, unexpected answer and before the stall owner could interrogate it further there came something else. Screaming? But he hadn’t even started destroying anything yet. The indirect source of the disturbance became clear just as soon as he raised his head from his meal to look around, throwing his weight backwards he was forced to lean nearly horizontal in his seat to avoid the pinkish energy bullet which whizzed past. The vendor stood transfixed with shock at the scene around them. Several of the town’s denizens were not nearly so fortunate. Sitting back up the Anubian growled low in his throat and regarded his hand with almost as much tragic weight.
That next beautiful morsel, that squidgy little parcel of deliciousness which he’d only just plucked up now lay in ashes on the counter before him. As he stood up the softest glow had already begun to rise off of him, a steady barometer of his rising anger and the ki that went along with it. Oh if only his old strength could burst forth upon this villain. He raised his eyes to the next bolt coming their way and rather than dodge this one he leapt straight for it, arcing his leg gracefully upwards to punt the blast into the air where it would detonate harmlessly.
’You,’ he said looking back to regard the stall owner who already had begun to slink away, ’don’t you dare stop cooking. I’ll be back presently.’ Needless to say he reckoned that he had cleared his tab and then some, he’d be damned if he was going to let shock and horror derail his meal. So full of command was his voice and so angry was he already that he didn’t bother to wait for a response to his demand, he simply flew off in the direction the blast had come from. Annoyingly he couldn’t sense the ki of whoever had perpetrated this act of culinary terrorism, but the blasts were still coming thick and fast with little apparent direction other than being aimed for centers of population and so the trail was easy to follow.
What he found wasn’t altogether what he had been expecting. This pretty pink pipsqueak didn’t exactly look like the slayer of cities he’d anticipated, but appearances could be painfully deceptive and he did suppose that he was on a whole new world. Maybe this was what passed for terrifying hereabouts.
’You know it’s not that I don’t approve of the impulse,’ he began, coming to hover a little ways off from her, ’I’m actually mildly impressed with the results as it happens. It’s just I was trying to enjoy some of this world’s delectable street food and well… you kind of went and got in the way of that.’ His voice dropped menacingly towards the end, even as his ki began to rise. As much as it could be said to at any rate, oh how he missed being the terror of the universe, but this would have to do just for now.
It was no wonder that these parochial folk out on the furthest edges of the civilized universe didn’t go planet hopping all that much. He’d been locked inside this stupid spacepod for hours now with nary an indication of whether he was any closer to his destination. This was no way for civilized peoples to travel. He’d contemplated ripping or blowing his way out of the pod at the heights of his frustration, he’d just gotten done with being stuck inside a big stupid marble for what felt like an eternity and so this was seriously starting to feel grating, but he reminded himself that at his current level of power making way himself would take even longer.
The promise of finally figuring out a thing or two when he made it to… what was this place even called? Craning his neck forward (not an especially easy feat given his current transport) he squinted to make out the text on display. ’E-arth? Earth? Stupid name for a planet. So anyway, the promise of finally being able to get some things straight once he was on Earth loomed too great in his mind to be overcome by simple discomfort. For the moment he would endure… and maybe blow this miserable excuse for a ship off the face of whatever planet he ended up on. What with blisteringly poor design choices all round he didn’t exactly trust it to hit the mark first time.
’You know I think I might have been to this system before, those rings there, was that one of mine?’ He had very definitely been alone for far too long at this point, he kept talking to himself like some kind of crazed hermit. Not exactly the poster child of enlightened divinity, but then that had rarely been the case anyway.
Finally the onboard UI buzzed promisingly as his destination hoved in to view amidst the softly twinkling stars. ’Planet Dirt. And not before time either.’ Unfortunately the incessant beeping which soon came to replace it was far less heartening. “Retro thrusters impaired” it helpfully informed him on the miniscule readout now. ’Well, this is gonna suck.’ The pod rattled and groaned as they struck the atmosphere and Sinthe expected any minute that it would just up and dissolve around him, but by some miracle he made it in sight of the ground. The ground which was coming up especially fast for his liking.
It was pretty much a given that in his eons long existence the Anubian had been hit a great deal harder than the force with which he struck the Earth, but as he strained to clamber his way out of his much abused ride you never would have guessed it. Things were not off to an altogether grandiose start but there again he was finally able to stretch which he took great enjoyment in before casting his eyes and his sense about. Wasteland, that was what both perceived, nothing of much interest and only the merest smattering of great powers. Relatively speaking of course.
Taking his attention from the world around with a final buzz which was to its new owner starting to sound like a jackhammer on his skull, the pod poofed out of sight, being replaced with a small caplet which the Anubian clutched between the claws of his thumb and forefinger. Tempting as it was to vaporize it might still come in handy he guessed and so stowing it in his sash he finally began to walk. ’This is ridiculous,’ he told himself, ’When was the last time a God walked anywhere?’
Then again after that fiasco he was begrudgingly grateful to be on the ground and stretching his legs. It was the simple things sometimes.
Name: Sinthe Age: Around 8,000, but he got bored and stopped counting. Gender: Male Race: Anubian Homeworld: N/A (Arguably a native of Otherworld, being of divine origin) Starting Planet: Earth
Appearance: Easily mistakable for a Zoanthrope Earthling, Sinthe is of a basically humanoid appearance with overt animalistic qualities, those of cats and jackals in particular though unlike most Anubians he is notably more feline. Standing at around 5’6” though his ears make him look much taller he sports uncommonly dark purple fur all across his body. Usually he wears garb closely imitating that of other Gods of Destruction such as Beerus and Champa, loose fitting blue pants secured at the top with a darker colored sash and black and gold tabard with a simple geometric pattern of two white triangles both facing downward and a third colored orange. Like his predecessor he also wears a blue and black mantle round his shoulder which also bears the orange triangle mark on its front.
Like many of his kind Sinthe is fond of jewelry and of gold in particular, he usually sports simple gold bracers and wears a decorative torque on each arm the ends of which are styled as fierce looking beasts vaguely reminiscent of the Earth’s mythological Quilin. Probably his favorite piece is the belt he wears about his waist over his sash, comprised of very finely crafted individual pieces which give the appearance of carp or dragon scales it is fastened at the front by an ornate clasp which appears to be based on some boar-like demon or alien holding what looks like a scroll or bit between its teeth.
His most notable features barring his overall catlike appearance would be two distinctive scars, the first being a roughly triangular notch missing out of his upper left ear and the second a rough edged diagonal running across his left cheek.
Backstory: Sinthe was one of very few Anubians to be born naturally, most being created seemingly as a function of the universe itself. While he never knew his father Cyd, who’d been deployed as God of Destruction in Universe 12, he was much closer to his mother Poteia who was the daughter of Universe 7’s God of Destruction Lord Beerus. To say that he was spoiled would be largely untrue but nevertheless he was a source of great mischief in his younger days and when one can obliterate a planet with but the flick of a finger ‘mischief’ takes on a whole new meaning.
Despite his actions being calamitous for those mortals whom he chose to visit nothing which the young Anubian did really fell outside the prevue of the Gods of Destruction and so while he wasn’t officially anointed as such he was mostly tolerated. As with all things though the springtime of his youth was not to last forever and even Gods themselves must taste the bitterness of death in one way or another. For Sinthe this day came when he awoke from a long slumber to find his mother gone. Now full grown in both body and power he set out at once to take bloody revenge on those responsible.
Again though he arrived too late to make a difference. It was a cruel fate really, to be possessed of great power and a great deal of time and being able to harness neither to the desired outcome.
Sinthe never really forgave his great aunt Lagerus for stealing his vengeance as he saw it, he didn’t even take solace in the fact that punishment had been meted out against those who dared defy the Gods and while he could do naught but pay her respect as an appointed deity the young Anubian longed for the day he would be powerful enough to test himself against her in battle. On his mother’s bones her swore that with every year of his long life he would grow in power, overthrowing the mightiest in the universe until one day he might exceed Lagerus in power. Perhaps he hoped in doing so that he would achieve his revenge vicariously, perhaps proving he could have done so would be eno9ugh to let him rest easy, to not feel so powerless.
Whatever the case the once playful youth became much darker in manner and more vicious in his temperament, carving bloody swathes across entire galaxies when displeased. The mere whisper of his name became so terrible that even the proudest races would scrape and bow to the point where more often than not he would have to contrive reasons to destroy them. And then something rather peculiar happened. He encountered on some desolate backwater world one who would not kneel, would not countenance surrender, but rather than fill him with rage the promise of a worthy foe pleased him.
And to think he’d never before heard of such a thing as a Super Saiyan.
Mortal lives though are painfully short and even the worthiest must pass away, leaving behind nothing but dust and the fragments of their memory. So too was the way of Sinthe’s sole worthy rival, though he left the Anubian a good couple of souvenirs etched in his flesh. Sinthe was content if not altogether happy with these, but the Kaioshin were much less so with the destruction he and his little monkey playmate had wrought on innumerable systems. For wrenching the universe so far out of balance Sinthe was to be imprisoned in the heart of an artificial star, there to remain until all but the last of his power had been quite literally burned off, that he might learn to better appreciate the immense gift of his divinity.
So he waited, falling into a deep sleep and dreamed of the times gone by or of those that were yet to come…

’Oh, that’s right, I was only having a pleasant dream wasn’t I?’
Sinthe yawned loudly as his eyes flicked open and shut, a haze hanging over his vision as he looked out at the twinkling stars. He must have fallen asleep outside again, what a bother when he would much rather be tucked up in a warm comfy bed especially with how cold it was out. As a matter of fact if he didn’t know any better he could have sworn that…
’Oh…’ A quick glance around once he’d dozily rubbed the sleep from his eyes was enough to confirmed the true circumstances of his awakening, those being that he was floating in the vacuum of space at the centre of a dead solar system. ’Well this was awkward, I don’t think I even left anyone to apologize to.’ Not that he necessarily would, destroying stuff was kind of his thing but he did it because it was his job or because someone had been exceptionally rude and only very occasionally because it was enormous fun. Getting stinking blackout drunk and wrecking an entire system didn’t exactly send the message that the Gods had all of their metaphorical ducks in a row.
’Oh, no, now I remember.’ A look back to his ruined prison served likewise as a reminder of what had really happened. The great black orb which appeared to him to be some kind of katchin alloy wasn’t looking quite so good as when he’d been thrown in it, now sporting a colossal hole in one side. This presumably was what had broken the complicated sealing formulae etched across its surface and woke him up. He plucked a floating fragment of it out of the emptiness and examined the markings more closely. Tapping a claw against it he flowed some of his ki through the material with the expected result of rendering it in to just so much powder but instead the glyphs on its surface only emitted the faintest pulse of what appeared to be starlight. ’It wasn’t me..? But then… questions for later.’
Whether or not it was intentional and whomever was responsible could wait. The more persusive line of enquiry for him at the moment was how long exactly he’d been asleep, he recognized some star clusters in the distance even from this new strange angle but all of them looked slightly off as if they’d been shifted apart or in whatever direction ever so slightly. Which meant either someone had been buggering around with the fabric of space-time or that he’d had one hell of a power nap while his power had rather literally burned away. If he was to have any chance of finding out he’d have to find his way to a system that was still populated, which in his current state would take him more time than he had the patience for. He’d have to find himself a ride.
And wouldn’t you know it? It was just then that he spotted something streaking across the void between these dead worlds. ’Well look at that, seems I’ve a volunteer.’ Moving off to intercept the craft he noticed that it was much smaller than it first appeared and probably only meant for one occupant, too bad for whoever happened to be inside. ’Now I know what you’re thinking,’ he said as he wrenched at what appeared to be the pod’s door.. ’But I’m not actually a pirate I just—hey, stop that! Don’t bulge your eyes at me like that while I’m trying to talk to—mortals need air don’t they?’ That would probably explain the pressure exchange he’d felt when he forced the door.
He was just having one of THOSE mornings it seemed.
Hauling the now very definitely dead occupant out of the vessel Sinthe only gave his strange armor the briefest of considerations before shoving him away off into space. Once inside he had to heave the door of the pod shut again, apparently having damaged whatever mechanism usually did so and spend the next minute or so trying to switch off the persistent and annoying breach alarm. Only then was he able to start fathoming out how to lay in a course for the nearest planet with documented sentient life forms, figuring it was his best way to make contact with other high deities.
’This dustball better have itself a Kami or me and it are going to have some serious problems.’
