It had been a few days since Aya arrived on Namek, and she found herself quite surprised by how peaceful it was here. Everyone she had met cared deeply about one another. It was strange to her, to see these families and how they acted, as she had grown up seeing her mother only rarely when a special lesson would arise. She didn't hate Nakiya for that, far from it, she had a good life and Nakiya always made sure she was happy. This was just... different.
The Namekians seemed to be the closest thing to a perfect species Aya could think of... when a Namekian spat out an egg, the offspring carried the superior genetic DNA from it's parent. Then, that child would spout an offspring with genes superior to his own. that meant that her mother wouldn't be interested in this planet beyond the dragonballs right? Maybe if she could find out everything she could about the Namekians, they wouldn't be touched in Nakiya's grand scheme.
'Why do I even care about these Slugs. They're nothing special, they're nothing like us. They're weak and far too caring, it would be much to easily to annihilate whole villages with a single hostage.' Aya mused to herself as she sat atop a rock tower as she overlooked the wastes. Her leg was swinging over the edge of the rock as she mulled the whole situation over in her mind.
'Their only real use is the Dragonballs... maybe that'll be enough to convince mother to leave them well enough alone once she gets her wish. I bet Xiao is going to be right furious... Guess that means I'll have to get stronger while i'm here too, just to make sure I can get away once the wish is complete.' She continued to think to herself. She would sigh and lie back down on the rock, folding her hands behind her head as she looked up towards the strange sky.
'I wonder if the Demon Realm looks anything like this... Probably a hell of a lot more chaotic though. The nobles will make sure I never get a moments peace like this...' With that, Aya would close her eyes for a moment, feeling the cool breeze blow over her, ruffling the hem of her dress lightly. She could really just fall asleep here, and know that nothing would ever happen to her. However, if she wanted those dragonballs, she needed to get to training Xiao. This was going to be interesting.
<<Mr Xiao? I hope I'm not intruding, it's me, Aya. I'm out in the wastes if you wanted to come train? i just figured here we would be safely away from any villages, and no one would accidentally get hurt.>>
That was a lie, the truth was that Aya was too lazy to move from her spot. It would be much easier for Xiao to fly over. Yup, no way was she going to give up her cushy spot on this rock.
Once again, Xiao was moving around his village, scanning over everything as he would move around. It would be quite easy for him to just train right then and there, but he felt like he had to keep some sort of perimeter guard, who knew how fast the creature would come back and try to destroy all that they had worked for. The thought was depressing at best, and Xiao didn't want to linger on it for longer than he had to, but the big factor of it all was that he was progressing again, maybe not exactly as fast as he hoped, but from the day that he fought the creature, he felt about four times stronger, which wouldn't be enough to harm the beast yet, but at least he was getting progress in. Soon, he would be getting some hardcore training regimes in, that would surely boost up his power a bit, the closer he got to destroying the Creature, the closer he would get to saving the planet, ensuring its salvation for a longer time. Especially if they all accepted him as their Guru, it would become a time of peace and prosperity once more that would be clouded without one. But for now, he wasn't ready for that, so he would just stop and fold his arms, overlooking the wide world.
But before much longer, Xiao's head would twinge with feeling as he heard the words of the princess transmit into his very own mind. This must have been the Telepathy skill that even the Guru could use... which, now that Xiao thought about it, the Guru had never even used his telepathy to tell anybody that he was okay. It truly was hopeless that the Guru still existed anymore, he was apart of the monster now. He was apart of the monster that he needed to destroy. But could he really? What if the monster had gotten leagues stronger by this point, what if he became even more lethal. It was probably just a worried tick in the Namekian's mind but he had to ignore it for now. For now he had to focus on the training, and Princess Aya for that matter. He was happy that the girl was staying safe, he didn't want the creature to get a jump on her and possibly end her life, which would truly be something of great disdain if it happened, he would just have to wait for it all to get to where he could protect everyone on the planet, as well as get the Dragonballs for Aya!
Listening over her words, he would quickly burst out towards the wastes, flying over there as fast as his energy could take him towards that destination. It was a very slow process but eventually he ended up finding Aya's spot on a rock. Well, her intentions were very noble but wasn't she just being very lazy against that rock? It mattered not however as he would descend slowly, saying out in a light and not loud down. "I'm here, Princess Aya" but then he would just cross his arms once more, a smirk going across his face. "I am interested in training, yes. This is a safe spot away from villages so this does work out if you want to train. However, how exactly do you wish to train? I am up for anything, even if it is as simple as a little sparring match" was all the Namekian had to ask about, before his lips became sealed.
Aya had just about dozed off waiting for Xiao to arrive. Her mind had already slipped into the early stages of sleep, it wasn't until Xiao got close, did she suddenly sense his power level and groggily open her eyes. She had been so at peace while sleeping, that a thin line of drool going down her chin. She sat up abruptly, part of her hair sticking up from having been lying on it.
"Mmmmhm..." She would groan as she wiped at her chin and lifted herself up into the air, landing on her feet with a yawn. She would rub her eye and chuckle softly as Xiao landed in front of her. She had obviously been caught in the act, and her cheeks flushed slightly in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry about that Mr. Xiao... goodness it's just so quiet around here." She said as she stretched her arms up above her head just as he said he would be interested in training, even sparring with her.
"Well, I"m not sure how good I'll be at sparring, it's been quite some time since I have, and it's mostly been swordplay. However I do know a few things about combat to try and be a good challenge for you. Perhaps we could teach each other a thing or two" She would say as she smiled brightly, tilting her head slightly to the side in an innocent manner.
The Namekian would just nod slowly, before giving off a light chuckle. "It is no problem, Aya, you don't have to worry about that" the green man would say as she apologized for sleeping. It wasn't really a matter of anything serious, it wasn't like she was doing harm by sleeping around, plus namek truly was a serene and quiet place to rest when nothing was going on. In fact, ever since the fight broke out between him and the creature, everything was pretty peaceful there. He didn't suppose that it was gone however, perhaps after its meals and slaughtering spree it went into hibernation of some kind, and was now hiding somewhere on the planet resting. Sort of like how Xiao fell into a sleep of some kind induced by pain but a little different. Now Xiao had woken up and needed to get a bit ahead for himself to get stronger ahead of it. At that point it'd just be a matter of time.
But before his little mind rant went on too long, Aya spoke up once more, bringing up the idea of sparring... it seemed that she practiced in swordplay a lot. He himself thought that she was a lot stronger than him... he hadn't trained for too long at all, and he was a meditate kind of namekian by heart. "Honestly, if you've sparred before, and have practiced swordplay. Also if you know things about combat and such, you can probably decimate me as I am now. I'm pretty weak to be honest... and, I was only training for about a week before I fell into a coma, and then I woke up and its only been a short time since then as well. I was sort of only meditating for a lot of my time alive. I have near no combat training and have never sparred with anybody." he would slowly scratch the back of his head. "So yeah... you'll probably beat me up a lot! However, I will endure it as long as I can get some training!" but then, Xiao would slowly shift into a sort of prepared stance, ready for a fight! He would let her start with something... he couldn't think up a good fight opening for the time being! But that didn't matter as he would set up for a spar, watching Aya as he awaited the time.
"Hmmm...." Aya would say as she brought one hand up to her chin in thought, the older holding up her elbow in a very pensive pose. If she was truly that much stronger than Xiao, then they had to find some sort of training where she wouldn't completely obliterate him. There was no point in that... she needed the Namekian in top shape, not half dead because she accidentally did too much damage. But what could she do? She didn't feel like having a boring martial arts lesson where she taught him to punch and kick properly... that was boring and wasn't her style at all... Then, suddenly an idea came to her! The hand that was on her chin formed a fist and she hit it down onto her hand, indicating that she had thought of something.
"I got it! There are two things we can do! One of them will be physically exhausting, and the other mentally exhausting. Which one would you rather do first? I will only tell you about the one you pick!" She said with an excited look on her face. She really hoped he didn't pick the mentally exhausting one... as that might reveal a little more of her lineage than she would have wanted... although she was sure she could come up with some bullshit story to cover it up if she needed too.
Listening over the Princess' words sort of made Xiao freeze up. So she had two different ideas that the two of them could do, as she was indicating her plans with the fist being hit down. Xiao sort of blinked... so did she have ways to do those two things? Was she truly that excited to be going through with it as well? The smile and stuff made him sort of worried, as she was telling her ideas to the namekian. Though he would slowly go through them, the two ideas she had were physically or mentally exhausting... two things he wasn't sure how they would go with this girl, if only because he didn't know what she was capable of. But he gulped down and just nodded.
"Alright... I think I'll pick the Physically Exhausted one first... for some pretty good reasons" he would say, pondering over the why's. Ever since he was young he was a mental namekian, using his wits and meditation to grow and grow but never really gain any power. At this point he had the mental exhaustion part already worked out in the past, but they wanted him to physically grow in power and become the Guru. Because of that, it was probably for the best to do physically exhausting workouts till he finished and became Guru. All of it was sort of odd but he didn't mind, and he held his beliefs firm. "Perhaps another time we can do the Mental one instead. But for now, this is our priority!" the Namekian would say, smiling a bit as a bit of sweat dropped down his face. Was he about to get the training of a lifetime?
Xiao seemed to really think on her words, even giving her a look as if he was suspicious of her, or of what she had planned. Aya would pout at that as she just crossed her arms and waited for him to weigh his options. She sincerely hoped he picked physical training, as her Dark Pulse attack had a tendency to make people relive their worst nightmares, and she could only imagine how hard that must be to recover from.
She didn't have to hope too hard though, as Xiao did indeed pick the physically exhausting challenge. This caused Aya to uncross her arms and clap her hands once as a smile crossed over the pink haired girl's face.
"Alright! Physically exhausting it is! I hope you're ready, because I'm reaaaaaaaaally fast! For today's challenge, you have to try and catch me! You can stop me by any physical means, or shoot me out of the sky if you have too!~ And don't worry about hurting me, I'm pretty tough!" Aya would say as she brought up her right arm as if trying to show off her muscles... which, honestly you couldn't see. With those words, Aya would then bring her hands forward and fire two basic ki blasts at the ground in front of Xiao's feet, aiming to kick up enough dust to give her a little bit of a head start, as Aya suddenly took off into the sky, leaving a dark trail of energy behind her.
In the end it seemed that the girl really liked his pick, he was unsure if it was going to end up with her liking it either way, no matter what he picked, but he was glad that she at least was reacting well to the Physical Exhaustion choice, so he would just fold his arms over and smile a lot, nodding. "I am glad you approve of my choice, Princess Aya... my reasons are set in stone so I just thought it'd be for the best. However, I may have to choose the mental one later, considering I might go a long way" the namekian just gave a firm nod to himself, hoping that it was all going well in both of their situations for what was going to come up.
But he still had to listen over to her exact words after she clapped and smiled. "Well, I do not doubt that you're super fast. I will do my best to catch you." the Dragon Clansmen spoke with a very affirmative and determined voice as he got into a position, ready to go for the girl at a moments notice. "I understand you are pretty tough, as well! I'll make sure to do my best in catching you... it may take a while but I swear I'll do it!" the namekian blurted out, before breaking off to try to tackle the girl. He would without a doubt fail because of how obvious he was being, as well as how much he was slipping up on nothing before he even started. But either way he would break off to try and get the girl right out the gate.
Aya couldn't help the giggle that escaped her lips as she took off into the air with a whirl, avoiding Xiao's first attempt to grab her. She would flash a grin down towards the Namekian, then go so far as sticking out her tongue.
"Miiiiiiiissed me!" She would taunt before taking off into the air, backwards so that she could keep an eye on Xiao as she did so. The Namekian wasn't very fast, so at least this should increase his speed some... She wondered how fast he would be able to go, and if he'd be able to catch her at all, or even manage to hit her with any of his ki attacks...
'Namekians seem rather weak... even this guy, aspiring to become this Guru doesn't look like he's got very much potential... Hmm it's too bad, considering the Namekians seem to be the only perfect race out there... there blood can't mingle, and only their best genetic genes get passed on... any modifications from us would only taint them. Hmm... I wonder if mother would want this world protected, after everything is said and done..? Hmm... yes it would be unfortunate if the Namekians disappeared... They will be needed in the reformed Galaxy...' Aya would think to herself as she brought both her hands in front of her and began firing an onslaught of basic ki blasts towardds Xiao, both to get him moving, and give him a harder time catching her.
The namekian would gently flop onto the ground as he missed the girl entirely, it felt pretty bad but he was glad that the landing wasn't exactly a bad one, he needed to be able to exhaust his power and chase after her right away, he couldn't possibly fail just yet, right?! Well, that was what he thought at the very least as he stood up and shook his head, looking up at the little girl who was sticking her tongue out at him. At that point, irritation certainly was setting in considering how rude she was being, that grin and tongue! She was the perfect example of a stuck up little princess! Well, it made sense to, so he wasn't actually irritated and mad, he just had the outward appearance of somebody boiling over with rage.
"Oh yeah?! I may have missed but that wont stop me!" he would yell out before pointing his hand up into the sky at her. He was laughing out towards her before his eyes caught something very specific, all of those ki blasts firing down upon his head! Wait was this a dual purpose fight?! Was she trying to get him while he was trying to get her! Well, at least it wasn't as scary or dangerous in his mind compared to the Strange Creature that he had to fight from before. So he would just nod slowly to himself, before finding the times to dodge out of the way, pretty easily making it out of the way of the blasts as he would begin to pant, each of the blasts was missing him by quite a bit as he had just used some of his energy to get out of the way. "HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING UP THERE!" he would yell up a little jokingly, he knew this was just teaching him to move faster out of the way of her attacks but it was fun to play along for the time being. "Okay okay, next I'll throw out my own attacks!" the Namekian, Xiao Qing, would explain a bit more before getting into a pretty untrained strance. He was getting tired though, that was what counted.

"Awwww come on Xiaaaao! I'm barely even trying! You can't be that slow! Or maybe you're just old?" She would tease the namekian as a laugh escaped her lips. Taunting him probably wasn't the best way to get him going... it was something her mother did a lot whenever she dealt with the saiyans, since that really got their blood boiling... but it might not be the best approach with the Namekians? She wondered just what would be the best approach with him?
That's when a rather cruel idea came to her... she would have a lot of research to do before she could even dream of acting on this sudden plan... but it would no doubt force Xiao to find his strength. In fact... a few idea'd came to mind and Aya couldn't help but smirk as she thought of them, waiting in the air for Xiao to catch her.
"I'm not going to get tired by just floating here ya know~" She would tease him again, crossing her arms now as she watched him take up a stance. It was so different than her own, that it felt sloppy... but maybe it had more merit to it? She hadn't actually seen him fight yet after-all.
The Dragon Clan Namekian just stood there, in his pose, his eyes closed as he was actually in a more meditative state. He wasn't that strong, and he wasn't that fast... but his mind was clear and he had the defiance of a champion, to push out and train the best he could. Soon, he would hopefully surpass even the Guardian in terms of power as he rose quickly from that first day of training, but not enough to hold any true power. But he would still overhear the little girls words, twitching slightly but not letting it get through to him. Perhaps she was using angering tactics to try to get him riled up, which would work any normal day, but he wasn't ready to be that mentally stressed about anything.
With that of course, Xiao Qing would relax even more, drawing power into his body as he focused on the aspect of shooting the Demon Girl out of the sky. He could fly sure, but his hand to hand combat skills wouldn't get him this victory, as ki energy slowly charged within his chest, along with his cheeks puffing up only a slight bit as he concentrated on his attack more than his anger, meditating in a calm station as the attack got a bit stronger. In his chest, his Mouth Laser was charging and welling up in a way to become stronger, probably a notable disturbance in his body as he stood entirely still and made it stronger as time would pass freely.

Was Xiao now making fun of her? He wasn't moving at all... he just stood in his silly little battle stance, eyes closed and completely ignoring her. The young demoness huffed as she crossed her arms and looked down at the Namekian. What was he doing? His power level was increasing, so many he was going to finally start chasing after her, hoping to cath her off guard by not doing anything... or maybe he was hoping she'd get bored and get closer to him?
Well! She was certainly getting bored, and Aya's inside voice was raging for Xiao to get off his ass and do something! They needed to get him powerful enough to become Guru! and this wasn't going to cut it! He needed more hands on training!
"Mr Xiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaooooooo, did you fall asleep!? Heeeey!" Aya would say impatiently as she uncrossed her arms and waved them as to catch the namekians attention. 'stupid little bug is never going to get strong like this! Damn it, open your eyes, chase me, hit me! I don't care do something!' Aya would growl to herself angrily as she just waited for Xiao to do... something.
With all of what Xiao was hearing, it was getting quite hard to concentrate on what was before him. He wanted to try to shoot her out of the sky but that was hard with her yelling down to him and waving her arms like a mad-woman! His eyes just sort of twitched as they were now open, and he slowly got into the mood. He didn't have the time to charge it now, he just wanted to get to the real training! He would slowly clench his fist and look up towards the girl, as he would open his mouth, the ki blast firing out like a line laser, aiming to hit the girl out of the sky if possible! Though he sort of doubted it, she was a slippery little girl and he probably had no way to fight her head on but he wanted to at least try! It was for the training of course!
But after that he'd slump a bit more, breathing in and out as he would slowly roll his shoulders. She did say to shoot her out of the sky if he wanted to, and that was certainly what he was aiming for, for the time being! "So, Princess Aya. Can you tell me a little bit more about this home that you are trying to save? It would be sort of interesting to hear a story about it while we do some physical training!" but then the Namekian would go back into his stance as he slowly floated upwards to try to meet her in the sky from where she was when he shot off his attack. He was ready for some more training! He just needed to make sure to keep up his strengths. Though his energy was entirely emptied for the time being!
Aya continued to wave her arms around frantically until Xiao finally opened up his eyes. She would raise an eyebrow with a questioning look on her features as if to taunt him to do anything! Then, he did, and it explained the build up of energy she had sensed. He had been charging an attack this entire time, hidden within the confines of his mouth. This only became obvious to the young demoness a little too late as the beam fired directly towards her.
Aya had closed the gap between them somewhat, and as she attempted to get out of the way, she hadn't escaped completely unscathed. Her left side had been hit by the mouth blast, and it burned away at the cloth that had been there only moments ago. A pout would cross her features as she looked down at the Namekian.
"You know... if I was actually fighting you... I could of knocked you around several times by now! The point was to try and increase your speed you know!" Aya would say as she crossed her arms. Luckily she did so, because the now missing parts of her clothing made her attire that much more revealing... though, she didn't seem to notice yet. She was far too annoyed that her training wasn't going in the direction she wanted it too! Then, Xiao asked about her family, and Aya shifted her arms so she could place her hands on her hips.
"My home hunh? To be honest I know very little about what happens outside the castle yet." She would state before a serious look crossed her features, and the young demoness placed herself into a battle stance.
"My parent's have been rather protective, and haven't let me leave the castle grounds, not until I'm at least 50 mother said" She would begin to explain, though her serious smirk faded as she felt a sudden breeze go through her opened dress. She would look down towards the breezy are and her face would begin to turn several shades of pink.
"AHH! DON'T LOOK" She would shriek before drawing her energy around her and letting it explode in a fiery display of power as she tried to knock Xiao unconscious so he didn't have time to peep.
