The full moon overhead illuminated the sparkling waters of the ocean, Ayami sat on the beach of her home island, it had been a while...She wasn't sure if they would even want her back, and why would they? These people didn't trust her, they despised her, feared her, to them she was like a monster, and only her adopted father and the village elder ever really cared and understood. She looked the water with somber eyes, not sure what she should do, she couldn't bring herself to enter the village, there was too much fear there, they probably thought they had gotten rid of something terrible.
Still, as she looked on, she moved closer to the water, witnessing her blurred reflection in the water. "Atsuko said I wasn't a monster...But how can she be so sure...Maybe my kindness is all a lie. These people seem to know something that I don't...And I can't even look at this reflection with a clear mind. Those people on the lookout are my friends..." As she sat there wondering, thinking to herself, footsteps were heard behind her, someone was approaching slowly, and then they stood over her, it was her adopted father.
Or at least...Adopted as far as he had told her. She never knew before anything about her real parents, or even about where she came from, but lately she wondered if that were really true, she wondered too if this was really "home" to her or not, it could have very well just been another place, maybe her real home was out there somewhere among the stars. With those strange dreams she's been having as of late, she wondered now more than she ever did. What was the truth? Was Earth her home? The space pod, the race she held, it all served as evidence that she came from somewhere out there...But as for where exactly, that was anyone's guess.
He spoke up to her. "You've certainly been gone a long time...I told you it wasn't a good decision to leave with those people." "But they're my friends! The first real ones I've had in a long time!" "You are to become a destroyer, you don't get friends. Much as I or the elder do not as well." She glared at him and protested rather loudly. "You always do this! Whenever something good comes into my life, you put a stop to it! I won't stand for it anymore!" "I do it to protect you! And because...These people deserve what you'll bring about." He stared at the village with hate in his eyes.
He gave a sigh. "...I've been to see her. She cared a lot about you, you know." She went silent...He talked of course about her adopted mother, the one she lost when she was so young. "Do you realize how much she cared? When I found you, she's the one who convinced me to take you in. I was ready to send you off to an orphanage, hoping you would find a family that wouldn't be aware. I however knew exactly what it was about you, that only made it harder for me to accept adopting you. But her...She wanted to take care of you, she thought you were special. I...Couldn't say no." He reached out his hand to help her to her feet, to which she accepted, standing briefly as he continued to talk. "They took her away from us."
Ayami's eyes widened in shock, her eyes welling with tears, it was surprise and sadness that had overcome her. "W....What...?" He looks her right in those blue eyes, speaking up. "They took her! She died because those bigots refused to help her! And look at us now! I'm left barely managing to take care of a daughter, and you're doomed to destroy it all! Well...I say we start now." Ayami gritted her teeth, the Water Elemi was becoming furious, a fire had been lit inside her, one crying out for revenge, one she couldn't tame. She loved her adopted mother, to find out they were the ones responsible, those who had shunned Ayami all of her life...it was like something within her snapped.
And as her power increased, the villagers headed out onto the beach, they had drawn tools to defend themselves as they began to fear the power building up right there. The old man however...He just gave a sinister smile. One that spoke up about how guilty these people were, about how they were going to pay here and now for what they had taken from him, from both of them. "All of you have sinned, and therefore, now comes the creature who will make you repent for all of those sins you have gathered. The one you feared has finally come, perhaps if you beg it will be easier."
"We've had it up to here with that girl, Seras! Just make her leave and we won't have to take action! It doesn't have to end in bloodshed!" Ayami began to cry as the waters around her built up, they increased in flow, it felt like she had hit the "Enrage" transformation she had worked on controlling...
...But then it began to go beyond that. It was starting to spike higher and higher, as if the limitations placed on her body were fading, the power inside her no longer managing to be contained. The villagers all approached to aprehend her...And then it happened.
"STAY. AWAY. FROM MEEEE!!!"
A wall of water burst out all around her, she was afraid, she was angry, she was sad, it had all led to her changing into something beyond herself...
Her hair became water-like, her enter body radiated with the power of the ocean, she glared at them, tears in her eyes and a burning hatred in her heart. Seras merely laughed as he opened his arms. "See what your bigotry has created! You were right to fear her! Now pay for what you have done!" His laughter continued as he drew two swords from his sleeves, watching as Ayami drew her own blade from it's sheeth, rushing forward and easily striking down the man who stood at the head of the mob, causing all of them to retreat out of fear, Ayami's power had become massive, it could be felt almost over the world itself, and certainly one guardian of Earth would have more than enough skill to detect the great surge in power, and the felling of smaller powers around it...This was the marking of Earth's first Super Elemi, here and now, a new power would arise.

Ayami has entered [x14] Super Elemi! PL has risen to [2,245,056 Offensive/1,964,424 Defensive]!
[Thread PL: 315,822 base. 5,053,152 in Super Saiyan Full Power]
The Albino Saiyan was actually keeping an eye on the Water Elemi for a little while... Ever since she started her power to such a massive height, Atsuko believed that Ayami would soon be able to transform, not unlike that of a Super Saiyan, in fact. Of course, if she didn't find a trigger for it, then the Elemi would simply be able to train it out... Or at least, that's what the Knight believed. But as fate would have it, there were other plans in mind for her. The instant that man came into the picture, the Saiyan got a bad feeling.
She didn't act yet, which may have been a bad decision on her part; but she waited and watched the events unfolding before her. So this was the man that told her this 'prophecy'... And he believed that village deserved what they were 'going to receive'? Already, she was beginning to ascend into her Super Saiyan form back on the Lookout, but even still, she didn't move just yet. Apparently the mother in this family had different intentions for the Water Elemi, instead wanting a more peaceful life for her... But everyone in that village feared Ayami and the power she held.
In turn, they feared the family that took her in, too. It was a tragic tale... Only made worse when apparently she had died because those villagers refused to help her in some way. Atsuko could already see it now; Ayami was becoming overwhelmed by her emotions, she would need to act soon. But... Damn it all, now all those people were getting involved! They had no idea what they were walking into! And the way that 'father' spoke about the Elemi... It only further enraged Atsuko. But the Water Elemi was having an even worse time of it.
She transformed; the Knight could feel the surge of power right away. At least equal to that of a Super Saiyan. No... Maybe stronger, even. This was where Atsuko's hesitation proved to have a dire cost; Ayami was now beginning to take lives. She couldn't afford to just stand by and watch anymore! The Saiyan ceased her use of Far-Seeing Arts, transformed into a Super Saiyan within an instant, and in the next instant that followed, she would be standing in front of the Water Elemi, stopping her blade from striking anyone else with her own sword.
"...Goodness. I thought that you might transform soon. I had no idea it would be on this day in particular, and in such a violent fashion...", the Knight spoke in a surprisingly calm tone of voice. Though she turned her gaze to the adoptive father soon after. "I've seen many selfish men in my line of work... But you, I think you take it to new levels. Using your own daughter's vulnerability like this.", the Saiyan then spoke in a reprimanding tone of voice directed towards him. "I'm going to stop any further bloodshed here today.", the Albino Saiyan states bluntly.
Once more, her gaze turns to Ayami. "Ayami... Listen to me, you don't need to do this. I know exactly how you feel. Especially how tempting it is to give into your anger. But think of what taking all these lives would do to you! And is it really what she would want? Is that how your Mother would want to be remembered?", Atsuko said in attempts to get through to the Water Elemi. There were so many things rushing through her head all at once... Even the Saiyan didn't know the entire story. But she knew that this had to stop.
Otherwise Ayami would lose herself in her emotions, and start towards a very dark path.. All because of him, she wasn't going to let him have his way. "You're not a destroyer, and I always said that you can choose your own fate... This is where you have that choice. And I'm going to help you, just like I said I would... So let out all the pain you have, even if it means fighting me!", the Knight would then add. Although on top of trying to calm Ayami down, she would need to keep an eye on that man...
He could still easily try to kill the rest of the villagers if he was left unchecked. The Knight also wanted to make him pay for everything he had done, but she had to take things one step at a time. Her priority at the moment was calming the Water Elemi down, and keeping everyone safe. There would be no more bloodshed today, the Knight was going to see to that personally. "You're not alone, Ayami. You have all of us to help you. This was what she wanted for you, a good life. Not what he wants..."
The Knight would direct to the adoptive father once more. "He's acting out of his own selfish desires. Maybe they did actually do something beyond their control... But the fact that he constantly spread that story, even to you? That didn't help anything! And now he just wants to use you to get his petty revenge!", the Saiyan would continue her attempts to get through to her. But was any of it really going to work? That was the real question. Still, the Albino Saiyan had to try, and she'd have to do it without her Super Saiyan Two form...
Thankfully, the first form should be plenty. Though she couldn't afford to underestimate the Water Elemi either. At least with her power, she should be able to keep an eye on both of them with less difficulty...? One could certainly hope that would be the case. Either way, Atsuko had fallen silent, hoping that Ayami would take the time to process all of this and calm down. If even a little, it meant that progress was being made. And that all of this could stop. She could help Ayami learn how to control this state... Maybe even draw out it's true power.
It was exactly like a Super Saiyan. So it must have followed the same principles.
Seras merely scoffs at Atsuko as she arrives and begins reprimanding him for his actions, he holds his arms out as he speaks. "You could not possibly understand why I do this. Does she look vulnerable to you? I see a girl taking what she deserves. An eye for an eye, after all." He looks away from her, focusing on the cowering villagers. "Though perhaps she will stop short of killing you. I certainly have no interest in it myself. These wretches are the only target of my anger. Of the grief the two of us have. If you lost as we have, perhaps then...You would understand desperation."
he began to approach the villagers, his blades still drawn. Meanwhile Ayami remained silent as Atsuko had stopped her blade, tears falling endlessly as she just tried to think over Atsuko's words. She...Was right, wasn't she? That's what the Water Elemi thought, but what about it was right? Ayami just didn't understand, her mind was so clouded as Atsuko tried to get through to her. Ayami grit her teeth before finally speaking up. Breaking her silence. " ... Do you really know what she would want?" Ayami sighed, and then...She looked Atsuko in the eyes, a clearly pained smile forming on her face. "...It was wonderful getting to meet you, and everyone else...I'll always hold these last days close to my heart."
She barely stopped herself from sobbing at those words, they felt like a sharp blade stabbing into her chest, her eyes were filled with sorrow as she tried to keep smiling. "...Goodbye."
Ayami lept back to get some distance between the two, and then as a cloud covered the moon, making her become covered in shadow, one could swear her eyes glimmered blue and green for a moment, as she then rushed forward on a burst of air, sending a flurry of trained blade slashes at Atsuko, even as Atsuko continued to talk to her, she seemed to be trying her best to pretend she couldn't hear those words. She didn't want to hear them. She didn't want any of this, she just wanted them to stay friends. But now she felt there was no turning back...And yet, there was something off about the way she fought, as if she was holding back. Her attacks were intent on striking, but even if they connected, they would feel...Weaker. As if she didn't want to go through with this.
"Petty? This is our revenge, not just mine. This is for both of us, I want her to take what she deserves. Not sit down and let them trample over her!" He called out as Ayami continued her assault, he himself seemed to believe every word he said, as if he had even himself convinced of these things, that only made it that much more believable for the Water Elemi, the one who was now facing down her own master, and friend...The one she respected, and still does. It was so hard for her to do this, but she held back all of the pain.

Ayami used [OT-2] Invisible air against Atsuko for 1,122,528 pl in damage!
"What she deserves is a life of her own choosing. You see her as nothing but a weapon to use in your own personal war.", the Knight replied without hesitation to Seras. He tried to justify everything because of a loss... The Saiyan shakes her head. "You do nothing but justify their fear. They had every reason to treat you that way, to want to chase you off. You spread such a wicked story, and now you embrace it... And you force your own daughter to do the same.", the Albino Saiyan continued. Her hatred for the man was very apparent.
But the contrast to how she viewed Ayami... That was also readily apparent. When the Water Elemi asked if Atsuko really knew that was what her mother wanted, the Saiyan gives a nod in response. But it didn't seem to give the ending to this entire ordeal that she was hoping for... Instead, Ayami spoke of how it was nice to meet everyone, and how she would always cherish it... Before uttering a farewell. That false smile she wore, it was one she had seen several times before. It was one she kept tracing back to that man called Seras...
In any case, the Elemi had stepped back momentarily, to then unleash an attack directed at the Knight. Atsuko moved her blade with purpose, deflecting each blow coming towards her. She still had to marvel at Ayami's skill and power, however. "You really think it's going to end here? With either me dead, or you? ...You don't want either of those things to happen. That's why I won't let it.", the Saiyan would then state. "You don't even really want to hurt them.", the Albino Saiyan stepped aside slightly, pointing her blade at the cowering villagers. "Look at them..."
Atsuko says with a pause. "They didn't want to hurt you. And yes, they never took the chance to understand you, either. Fear clouds the mind, but if you give them that chance to know that you're not a destroyer... They would change. I'm willing to bet that prophecy wasn't even something they cared about until he drilled that into your head.", the Knight adds as she then looks over to him. "So confident you are that I would lose... I'm not going to let you have your way. Even if you're right, do you think you're any better by treating her this way?"
The Saiyan inquires rhetorically. "Someone died... That's horrible. It happened because of fear, that's even worse. So now you want to use that fear on everyone just so you can have a hollow victory? Their deaths aren't going to bring her back, it's not going to give you any purpose!", she would then point her blade at Ayami. "It's just going to make her feel horrible because she doesn't want any of this! If you had any decency, you'd tell her right now that she has a choice! ...But you won't, because then you can't have your precious slaughter."
The Knight was going to cut down any argument either of the two could make. She would stand here and fight the Water Elemi as long as it took in order to calm her down. "I'm not going to let you take my friend and student away... I'm not going to let her push me away, either.", the Knight would then smile lightly as she looks at Ayami. "Come on then... Just like when we were training, show me what you can do. If you need to let out all your frustrations, I can take it. I've dealt with a lot worse!"
As always, her tone of voice changed according to each person she was speaking to. With Seras, she was harsh. But with Ayami, it was gentle. The Elemi just needed to be reminded of everything she had gone through, how throwing it all away over this wasn't something she had to do just because someone mentioned some prophecy... "I can do something that he can't, too. I can traverse to the Afterlife. I can speak with the people there... He can't do that. And as much as he'd claim to know what your mother would want..."
The Knight would begin to explain. "I could find out for certain. You wouldn't have to live wondering about the 'what ifs'... But I know that she wouldn't want this for you anyway. What sane person would want any of this for their child? Do you think he's really thinking about what's best for you? He's only thinking about himself!", Atsuko continued... But if Ayami wasn't going to listen to any of this, then the only thing she could do was just constantly hold off her assault. Ayami had an unreal power, certainly. But it was still unrefined. Atsuko could keep this up for days.
Neither Seras or Ayami could claim to be able to do the same. That was an advantage she did have. "If I have to... I'll stand here fighting you for an eternity just to get through to you. I'll deny that prophecy no matter what. You're not dying, and neither is anyone else.", the Knight vowed in front of everyone. One way or another, this was going to have a peaceful ending. Something that she actually deserved to have, instead of this nonsense about being a Destroyer of Worlds. Ayami wasn't about any of that...
Hell, she was desperately afraid of that type of conclusion! She wanted to be a Protector, she was still going to be. Even if Atsuko had to drag her back into it step by step. The Albino Saiyan would struggle as long as it takes just to see to it personally. And there wasn't a damn thing Seras or anyone else could do to stop her! If needed, she'd even fight the gods themselves! Ayami was her friend, and damn it all she was going to have something better than this. Atsuko swore it all to herself. Now it was time to make it a reality.

<<Pathetic.>> came the telepathic voice of the dark-skinned, red eyed, raven haired visitor from the Eastern quadrant of the universe. Obsidia looked down upon the "father" of Ayami whilst the Water Elemi clashed with the Super Saiyan. <<You are a pathetic mortal wrapped up in your own petty desires. If this is the standard of Elemi in this time and place, then it is something that is sorely in need of correction.>> she ordained as she rapidly descended to the ground, aiming to land a solid kick into the man's face as she descended. She would follow this up with a swift punch to his jaw as well as a knee to his groin.
<<Pathetic, that you have allowed yourself to be marred by the whims and capriciousness of humans, and would drag your daughter, adopted or otherwise, into the depths of darkness with you.>> The Elemi declared before her fist caught on fire, a fire so hot that the air around it already began to waver from the heat it produced. She would try to slam this fist into the man before her, aiming to plunge it into his chest. <<We are born from the elements themselves. We are the elements.>> she said, relaying her words to the Water Elemi as well, and to all those around them.
<<What does it matter what those who crawl upon the world think of us? I died long before you were an inkling of an existence. I sacrificed my life so that my world may live. Its people thought me savage and a brute because I did not speak.>> she declared, even as she brought up her leg in a sweeping kick aimed for the "father's" head.
<<Let those born of flesh believe us to be monsters. Let them think of us as creatures to be feared. If they are foolish enough to consider us so, then I shall not bother to correct them through words. I let my actions speak for myself now as they did all those thousands of years ago.>> said the dark skinned female Elemi, before she sent a private message to Ayami following it up. <<What will your actions say little one?>>

[OT-2] Burning Strike: Covers her fist in an even stronger flame than before!
Chris had only managed to land what seemed to be a short while ago. He had felt immense powers upon arriving in the region and he recognized both of them. His mentor and best friend. What he had been confused about was why Ayami's seemed so filled with hate. To think he wouldn't have came would be an understatement. Anyone who knew him knew how much he cared about his friends since his own family was gone. He had no family really to fall back on to. He knew Leena wasn't his real sister and that was what he meant..
He was getting closer to the powers...he could feel them now and no doubt they would notice him as well. He still had no improvement or transformation to his form but he had indeed become stronger. He couldn't help but care for her...she was his best friend and eh felt such a similar story to her. He just hoped that whatever this was that there would be a way to stop it. Some possible solution to causing her to stop all this. Something to calm her or distract her out of her anger.... What could he do though? What could he truly do to help her?
Chris than got an idea if all else failed...he just hoped it wouldn't come to that because it would mean getting hurt...pretty badly as well. That was why he saved that as his last resort. After he did it though he knew either Atsuko or Leena would be killing him. He knew they would disagree with what he could do but he knew he couldn't let that stop him. He cared too much of his friends to let them hurt themselves or others. He couldn't, he just couldn't let them suffer that guilt.
He was there finally and he spotted them all, Obsidia, Atsuko, Ayami, and some wierd dude. He listened to Atsuko and Ayami as he watched them for a moment. He managed to shake himself out of the daze however and rushed towards them so that it would be impossible for him not to be noticed. He knew that they were going to fight but he had to show Ayami that there were other ways besides fighting. If this was anything like the rage Atsuko described feeling when she first turned super Saiyan than he had an idea.
"Ayami...it's me. Please listen to me. What ever prophecy you say this is you don't have to follow it. Don't you remember what I told you before? Fate doesn't control us...we make our own destiny. That was something you agreed with me that day when I first hugged you on the lookout. When I promised you that everything would be okay. I'm back and I still plan to keep that promise. I promised you. Please, just listen to any of us and believe in us. No matter what this man says to you he doesn't control your fate and neither does some dumb prophecy. While the past is important to remember we still have to look for that better future ourselves." Chris would say as one would note he was wearing his heavy weights. He really didn't come here to prepare for a fight.
A heavy rainstorm began to fall as lightning lit up the heavens above them, Seras threw his arms open, staring at Atsuko. "I am only letting her take the revenge she so deserves, is it not fair that all mortals take vengeance? if I am so wrong, tell me. - Have you never sought revenge? Not even once?" He watched her face, giving a tired laugh as he suspected the answer would likely be yes. "As much as you'd like to deny it, I can see it in your eyes. You've killed someone over such a thing before, haven't you? That look of bitterness, of hating those who have taken from you. I recognize it as it reflects in my own eyes."
Of course, he laughed even more as she said that he made them fear him. "You really think that I wanted this? No. Where I come from, there was nothing but death, the sweltering heat came by day, the deadly cold by night, and all the times inbetween desperate men trying to keep their families alive. That is where I come from. But these lands, this island...It had so much more to offer, it showed hope, life...I...Envied them, I suppose." He looked away with regret for a moment before looking back. "I did not choose to antagonize these people, nor my own child. They took from me, and so I made them suffer with fear."
Ayami stood silently as Atsuko spoke to her...She said something that rang all too true to Ayami...And one could swear she shivered for a moment. And yet, she remained silent, she seemed to be waiting for now, but her mouth didn't let slip even a single sound. Atsuko talked more about her adopted mother, and about those villagers, about how they were only afraid, and that they'd come to understand eventually, about how her mother would indeed want better, and that he was crazy for wanting something like this...She then said it. She said she could actually speak to her. Ayami almost couldn't believe it, a glimmer of hope appeared in her eyes, if only for a split second...But yet she stopped herself. And then Atsuko poised the question..." Do you think he's really thinking about what's best for you? He's only thinking about himself!" So many conflicting thoughts ran through her head with these words, she wanted to lash out against Atsuko for saying them, but then she didn't want to hurt her...
With the conclusions to Atsuko's words, Obsidia had apparently arrived, she managed to catch Seras off guard due to her unexpected appearence, managing both the kick and punch before he regained his compsure and began to narrowly stave off her assault. It seems she was quite a match for the old man, more than enough...Except Ayami had gotten to spotting this, her power started flaring up with vengeful intent as she watched this woman she barely knew attacking the man who raised her, with seeming intent to kill on top of it all. Was he really misleading her? Was he using her? Ayami just couldn't know, so many thoughts swirling in her mind, the Ancient Elemi's messages proving to help matters even less, but he was her father, he always was and even despite all of this, it hadn't seemed to change...
She glanced to Atsuko, her eyes gleaming once again, and then she took off in a sprint as Obsidia charged her fire fist, Ayami raised her sword up and struck the Ancient Elemi's hand, would it be lobbed off? Would it simply deflect away safely? or worse...Would it seriously injure this woman? Ayami didn't know, she had one thing on her mind with this attack, protect him, protect the man who raised her despite it all. her blade struck true with full intent to stop this attack from going deep into her father's chest.
Regardless, the difference in power Ayami and Obsidia held was immense, she stared down the Ancient Elemi, with a short rebuke for what she asked Ayami. "...My actions say that was a bad choice." She hated doing all of this, but...All she saw for sure was Obsidia attacking her adopted father, her words were so clouded by thoughts that only some of the message had managed to even penetrate the Water Elemi's mind. She could only hope for now that whatever she did, she wouldn't regret it later, not like it mattered to the Ayami acting, not thinking. She turned to face the now speaking Chris, her mind shaken with so much confliction. She finally spoke again, her words pained and filled with anger. She didn't want to do any of this, but they made her! Those stupid people made her do all of this, and then that Elemi attacking her father! She didn't know what other choice was left to her!
"Chris...Leave now. Take Obsidia too. Atsuko...Is going to have to make a choice. I don't want either of you to get caught up in what I've already done." She seemed to gain a little control over her emotions...If only for a second, given how she spoke, she spoke her mind, her emotions. She was going to make this end one way or another.
She just deeply hoped the way it ended was the best way.

Ayami used Martial arts [AD] to Deflect Obsidia's Burning Strike [OT-2]! 449,011 versus 7,603. Ayami wins with 441,408 remaining! However, she directs 426,408 away, instead putting 15,000 pl in damage right towards Obsidia's hand!
Much to Atsuko's surprise, two other people showed up to help. One person that she didn't recognize, but apparently another Elemi... She was focusing on Seras. The old man barely being able to put up a fight against her. And then shortly after her appearance was Christopher, who also tried to get through to Ayami. Maybe this would be exactly what was needed to get through to the Water Elemi! Being surrounded by the people that actually cared about her, versus this man who only had his own interests at heart. Speaking of which, he was still trying to go on about how his vengeance wasn't meaningless.
"Of course I've been down that road... The first time I made that mistake, it didn't give me any meaning, it didn't make me feel better. It felt hollow. You know exactly what I'm talking about Ayami, how I ended up killing my own little brother because I lost myself to that rage; just like you've lost yourself right now.", the Knight states, shifting her gaze to the Elemi as she continued. "The second time where I almost made that mistake... I could have killed someone that deserved it, and that anger I have to keep contained."
The Albino Saiyan adds. "There's nothing good that will come out of this, Ayami.... Let us help you to control your power, give you a life that's worth living. Seras only wants to end life... Even he can't deny that.", the Knight states. But then she noticed a particular gleam within Ayami's eyes. She was going to attack Obsidia! The Water Elemi was fast, hoping to stop the attack of the Ancient Elemi. More than that, however. It almost looked like she was trying to cut off a limb! The Knight had to act fast, she surges forth as Ayami does!
Atsuko swoops in and manages to strike against Ayami's blade in such a fashion that it ends up directing harmlessly away from it's target. After that, she uses the rest of her power to stop Obsidia's attack, and finally directs the very last of it in order to knock Seras out; he wouldn't die from the blow he had received. But he was definitely not going to be making things even more difficult from this point on, that was exactly what Atsuko wanted. The Saiyan turns to Ayami and then brings her into a hug.
Receiving any damage from attempting this... She could take it. The Knight had been through so much worse than what the Elemi could muster up. "...My choice is to keep you as a friend. I'm not going to kill you, no one else will either... And I won't let those emotions rage free so that you do things you'll regret. I know that you're scared and confused, but we're here for you. We wouldn't have come if we didn't care, Ayami.", the Albino Saiyan was still trying her best to get through to the Elemi somehow. Fighting her really was a last resort in her mind.
If she had to... Atsuko would only choose to temporarily disable her. But hopefully her student could see reason about all of this! She had to... She was going to. One way or another, the Knight wasn't going to let anything bad happen. She had already vowed it before, but she had done so again right in front of her and Seras. There was no way Atsuko would abandon the Elemi in her desperate hour of need. "Just take a few deep breaths, Ayami... It's like when you were meditating, remember?", the Knight then inquires.
With Christopher and Obsidia here, she no longer had to worry about Seras being left unattended and potentially striking at the villagers. She didn't put it passed the adoptive father to be that underhanded. "You were able to control your Enraged state... I know you can do the same with this form, too.", Atsuko says in a gentle tone of voice. She had so few opportunities to act like an older sister, or even a motherly figure. But even so it, just felt... Natural. Like something she was meant to do. Maybe it was something inherited from her mother, Tomoroko.
The Albino Saiyan just couldn't bring herself to be angry with Ayami. All she really needed at the moment was someone to lean on, and that was exactly what she was going to get. Shortly after that musing, the golden sword begins to glow, shooting out a beam that then begins to take the shape of a Human once more. Excalibur was making her debut! "I don't see this prophecy going as you described it, Ayami... For starters, I don't even see this supposed Destroyer!", the Sacred Sword states with a confident smirk. If all else fails, Atsuko could attempt to help the Water Elemi held like this.
It would prevent anyone from being injured until Ayami could actually break out of it, which would be no easy feat! "Chris, and... I don't know who you are.", she directs towards Obsidia. "But I thank you both for coming when you did. I'm going to keep Ayami under control as best as I can. Can you make sure the people are safe? If you can, maybe convincing them of their wrongdoings so they'll apologize to her will help too!", the Knight states to the pair, then turning her attention back to the Elemi in her arms.
"Sorry, but... I just have to stop you from doing anything you'll regret. That includes trying to make me kill you. This isn't going to be an ending to any story.", the Knight would then say to Ayami. "Indeed! Time that you come back to us now, Ayami. I still believe in you.", the woman in red adds. If nothing else, the Elemi could be controlled for the moment. It was more than what they had before, and it gave them more opportunities to talk to her, and it forced Ayami to have to talk to them as well.
It was still an unpleasant business, but... It would be worth it to get her student back.

Obsidia barely had time to register the incoming strike from the Water Elemi before the golden haired swords woman intervened with her own blade, and then in the same moment used her power to stop her fist from striking the callous man. The level of power she felt radiating from her... <<Is this->> she began to ask of the Eastern Supreme Kai in the far galactic distance. <<It is indeed. I can see why my brother tried to get her to come to Makai back then... she would have certainly done the trick.>> was his response, the dark-skinned Elemi looking at the group as they tried to reason with Ayami.
Ignoring the man brought low by the Kami, Obsidia approached the young girl. <<I know this power that is raging through your soul and body. It is a tremendous power, like a tsunami inside your flesh, waiting to be unleashed. I once held the same power in life. What you see as a destroyer though, can also be a creator.>> she said towards the girl's mind, trying to break through the fog of her emotions.
<<Through this power, this new found strength, you have the ability to stop a hurricane, quell an earthquake, break apart tidal waves, put a stop to volcanic eruptions.>> the ancient Elemi informed the young girl. <<Would that not be the greatest act of revenge to take? They all feared you, and here you are, wielding this terrifying power... to save them. Revenge through kindness can be far more rewarding to the soul, than revenge through destruction.>> she asked of her before looking towards the armoured blonde.
She telepathically spoke privately towards the blonde swords woman, and only the blonde swords woman. <<Kami I presume. I am Obsidia, and I have come as representative from the Eastern Supreme Kai in regards to the matter that Northern Supreme Kai tried to recruit you for. Perhaps we may speak later once this matter here is resolved?>> inquired the raven haired Elemi.
"I'm not leaving Ayami, you know me better than a lot of people. You know I won't run away from something like this. I understand that it hurts to believe that these villagers caused the death of your mother but you can't just become worse than them. Even if they did deserve this we don't need to stoop down as low as them. Even if you still believe this prophecy is this what you really want? Not what your father wants. Not what your mother wants. But is it truly what you want? You can't keep these emotions boxed in like this. Spill them out and tell us how you really feel. Who is the real Ayami? The one who shared laughs with her friends, the one who couldn't stand to see other mistreated? Tell me and the others how you feel....please."
Chris would say as he looked into her eyes. He wasn't moving anywhere farther away and in fact he began to move closer towards her. Slowly but peacefully. Not with force but with a simple grace. He just attempted to grab her hand peacefully and show her that her friends really did care for her too much to let her emotions take control of her fully. That was his test he saw, that was how he knew of a true test of friendship. Friends helped each other to the very end, no matter what they did because they could always know that they could always trust in each other.
He would never turn his back ever truly on Ayami. He couldn't, that just wasn't the way he was and he still wouldn't dare dream of such a thing even to be done to someone he cared so much for. Someone he had promised he would never turn his back on, someone he had promised he would never give up on. It was so obvious that he care a lot for her, even in his training with Atsuko the first thing he had asked her while they were on a break was if she was okay. He had felt her ki drop when she had drank the holy water on his way to his mentor.
That was when something unexpected happened and Ayami struck out at Obsidia. The attack looked like it was going to cut her arm off! That was before his mentor stepped in and kept it from doing so. She even went to grasp her into a hug. Yet still he wished there was still another way. Some way for them to be able to come at peace here and bring back the Ayami they still loved! The one who cared for the weak and innocent. The one who would without a doubt help someone in need. That was the Ayami he wanted back! Not the one here who seemed so entrapped in the thought of killing these people. There was only one thing he could think of to say as a last resort to bring her back. "We control our fate.....not anyone else."
As Ayami rushed forward to strike, she had little time to react to the far faster Atsuko who stopped both attacks, knocked her adopted father out, and then latched onto her. Her power, every last bit lashed out against the saiyness as she held Ayami, the waters flowing around her striking uselessly against the Kami as she held on as if nothing else mattered, Ayami however...Became still. Unmoving. All of her moment ended there, even if she tried to strike out, it wouldn't deter Atsuko, even she knew this in her out of control state... Yet as much as she desired to protest outwardly, inwardly, she wanted to accept it. They stood silently under the rainstorm raging above, as Atsuko began to speak to her, as if sisterly towards the Water Elemi...
Control her power...Was such a thing possible? She felt like a tsunami ready to sweep everything in it's reach within the blink of an eye, she didn't feel calm, she felt scared, nervous, angry...All of these feelings made her remain silent, she listened to what Atsuko had to say, but it was with no response. She held so tightly to the Water Elemi, even as all of this went on...She spoke of not wanting to kill Ayami, that it was her choice, that they cared...She knew, she thought she did for sure, but...She could only say one thing. "...Why..." Is all she managed to force out as she cried silently, the emotions and the power making it so hard to understand anything right now, as if a poison or side effect from medicine had overtaken her ten fold.
"M..Meditating..." Memories flashed into her mind, of all the training she had done, of all the things she overcame, the power she gained...It was overwhelming, it was like a flood set free from a dam, all of these memories... She mastered the weaker form of this...Enrage...But that was nothing like this power, they were in entirely different leagues, that from before was easy to calm her, she still had the power to fight back, to think clearly...With this, there was no chance of that, not immediately, in any case...As much as she hated it, her mind was clouded, she didn't want any of this, but this power, this curse...It had to end at some point, and it seemed all of these words affected her deeply.
Then Excalibur appeared...Speaking that she saw no destroyer...Ayami, still uselessly in Atsuko's grasp, looked down at a puddle formed on the sand, the lightning in the sky illuminated it for only a moment...The Water Elemi didn't see a mangled monster...She saw a terrified girl. Her eyes widened in shock...She was still herself...And in some ways, just this brought so much onto her mind, so much clarity in a pained mind. She stared silently as it kept being illuminated, still yet the same scared confused girl remained reflecting back at her. She didn't say a word.
As she stared, Obsidia's words flashed in her mind, unlike before...They seemed to have an effect. They were understood by the girl for once in this entire fight. She didn't read them at face value, as if she were confused...She listened to them, she could be a creator? A defender? To get revenge in this way...Was she right? Was this all that needed to be said? It gave her so much to think about, so much to wonder...This power felt cruel, uncontrollable...But yet this woman claimed it could be used for good, Ayami wanted to believe her, and maybe if she were in a better state, she would have, but yet again, through her silence came another simple word... "...Why?" The same thing uttered before...Now uttered a little more clearly, a little less forcedly.
Then Chris approached, grabbing her hand, speaking as if she had not just attacked people with this rage of hers, as if she were still the same one he met before. She didn't understand it. He wasn't going to run...She wanted to tell him to, but somewhere inside she knew he was serious, that telling him anything else was pointless. She didn't hate him for it, somewhere in her mind she actually respected that a little. He asked a question that struck hard in her mind...Was this really what she wanted? Even Atsuko was convinced it wasn't. All of them seemed to believe so, but the Water Elemi...She really didn't know. She spent her entire life fearing this to come true, and then it seemingly arrived here and now, what was she to believe? Had she feared it because she expected it? Or did she fear it out of not wanting this?
She spoke up once more as Chris ended his speaking... "Why??" Yet again the same single word repeated, now far more emotional, as if it pained her that they would speak to her, as if she didn't understand in some way, she could utter no better words for it...She was no more than a helpless child right now. At the mercy of her powers that she didn't fully understand, the one she assumed made her a monster, the one she had hoped would never come. It was so much for her to take in even as she remained held by the saiyness she had grown to idolize, perhaps even see as a sibling...
Finally, Atsuko spoke up to her again, she said it wasn't going to be the end, that no one would die...Then Excalibur said these simple words... "It's time for you to come back, Ayami." "I still believe in you"...Ayami spoke up once more.
"Why are you being...So nice to me?"
She just didn't understand, she thought she was a monster now, but her reflection, and all of them around her...They seemed to think otherwise...But why? She thought that she deserved to be stopped, that all of this was just her fate, even if it wasn't, she couldn't deny what she had done, striking out against people, hurting them, or worse...The villagers looked on in confusion, they didn't dare try to approach, all of the powers there towered above theirs, even combined.

Seras has been KO'd! Ayami is making no attempt to break free of Atsuko's restraint!
The Ancient Elemi was the first one to attempt communication with Atsuko amidst all of this. What Obsidia had to say was enough to pique the Knight's curiosity, to say the least. The Saiyan focuses on her energy signature for a moment, and then sends a telepathic message to the Ancient Elemi in response. "Telepathy, huh? I suppose if you have business with me, yes we can talk. I will need to see to it that we get Ayami under control however. She deserves better than this.", the Albino Saiyan would state, as Christopher was the next one to speak up.
The young lad refused to leave the Water Elemi behind, no matter what happens... Atsuko couldn't help but smile a little at that. It was really going to drive the point home that Ayami wasn't going to be alone in this.... Even so, the Elemi seemed to bewildered by the very idea, only being able to ask 'why' no matter how long she tried to process it all. The Albino Saiyan simply continued to hold Ayami in the hug until she could find the words she wanted to say. It didn't take very long for her to finally say it.
The Elemi asked why they were being so nice to her. "Because you're our friend, Ayami. You're not a Destroyer, and you were never meant to be one... I don't care what any prophecy says! Sometimes you fight fate itself, and it gives the greatest rewards.", the Knight would state honestly. "I wouldn't just sit by and let something that horrible happen to you... Or anyone, for that matter!", the Saiyan adds. After that, it was Excalibur's turn to add in her own thoughts. "Because it's as I said... I still believe in you. I do still end up choosing students even though Atsuko does all the work now!"
The woman in red says with a smirk on her face. "And I grant you my power even now because I know you wouldn't actually destroy Earth, or harm anyone... Not by your own will.", the Sacred Sword then shoots a glance to the unconscious Seras. "He wanted such terrible things for everyone... I don't think he truly understands just how empty it would make him feel to get what he was after. Even worse, what it would end up doing to you, Ayami.", Excalibur explains in a calm tone of voice.
"I know he has his reasons... But it doesn't justify what he was after, I can't condone it. We won't kill him, because there's no need for any bloodshed in this. You just need to know that he can't control you, or your destiny. That's still your choice to make, even as clouded as your mind is right now.", the Sacred Sword continues, a more genuine smile forming on her face. "You see? There's not going to be a battle. I know how hard it is to control that rage... I've been there, I'm still there in many ways."
The Saiyan explains. "Super Saiyan Two gives an absolutely blinding amount of anger... But you're still you. We're your friends, that won't change. And you can control this.", the Knight adds, she then lets out a small sigh of relief. Atsuko gently releases Ayami from the hug. "Now... Why don't we have a little talk with the gathered villagers?", the Albino Saiyan states. Then turning her attention to the crowd and stepping towards them. Naturally, they were more than a little frightened by the sheer power that the Knight was giving off. "Look at all of you... So scared of what you never even tried to understand."
The Saiyan would say as she begins to glance at each person. Why they had stayed was something rather surprising to her, maybe they were simply too frightened to even risk moving. "Did it never cross your mind to try and instill different manners of thinking for her? Instead of adding hate to the fire, you could have encouraged her to accomplish good things... Hell, you at least could have been nice to her... Whose bright idea was it to try and anger a 'future destroyer' anyway? That's asking for the worst outcome."
The Knight was reprimanding the entire crowd. "If it were feasible, I'd bend each of you over my knee and give you the spanking that children deserve. You certainly act like children! ...But I'll let it pass for now if you apologize to Ayami and welcome her back into her home. What she needs now is people that care about her. And you shouldn't need an outsider to explain any of this to you.", the Knight adds, her arms were crossed, and her glare was hold for just a moment longer... But then she turns away, gaze settling back onto Ayami.
"I don't know how successful I was with that, but... I hope it at least encourages them to change their ways. If nothing else, you still have your home with us, Ayami. We won't let anything bad happen to you. I can promise you that.", the Albino Saiyan states with a smile once more present on her face. The Knight still wanted to do more, most certainly teach the villagers a lesson for everything. But continuing the cycle of hatred wasn't going to do anything. The first step was putting a stop to it. The source was none other than Seras.
Everything else was mere misunderstanding and just... Unfortunate circumstance. But all of it could be changed from this moment on, and Atsuko was damn well going to take advantage of it! Sure, Ayami could always stay on the Timeless Lookout, but... Being able to stay at her childhood home would probably bring her a measure of peace as well. Knowing that, the Albino Saiyan at least had to try for it. In a way, she could understand where Cambia was coming from when it came to hating Humanity and their ways... But they weren't entirely evil. They just didn't know any better.
<<Because there was nobody for me when I came upon this power on my world. During my time of transition, I wrecked havoc across my world before I got a hold of myself. It was... quite the sight to behold.>> said Obsidia. <<I see me in you, and wish to be there to guide you, so that my mistakes do not become your own.>> the ancient Elemi admitted, smiling softly at the younger Water Elemi with a look that could almost be described as motherly. She looked back to the Kami and the male that was still conscious, both of them trying to reach the scared girl.
<<Although with friends such as these by your side, I do not think there is much to fear on that score. I will be on the Lookout should you wish to seek me out.>> she said to Ayami, before looking at Atsuko. <<I'll wait on the Lookout till you're finished here. My master would like to discuss a thing or two with you concerning the future.>> she said, before taking flight and heading for the distant Lookout.
There was the very question he had heard oh so many times before, why. Why was he here to help her, why did no one give up on her. Why did they all care for he so much? Why why why. He had a reason why and he was still surprised she hadn't seen why yet. He had already told her why. She just wasn't truly thinking fully, he told her why because it was true and she seemed to have calmed down quite a bit. There was but one thing but to answer her question of why because it was how he truly did feel for her.
"Because dummy, I've already told you. We're friends. Friends never give up on each other even when they are down or sad we are always there for each other, we care for each other and help protect each other. Not just with me but with everyone you've become friends with because no matter what happens to us we will always be friends. In our memories and even in our futures. There is nothing more powerful than that! Not even the most burning desire of rage that connection will always be there to hold us all together."
Chris would have said with one of his smiles as he still looked her in the eyes. So many fresh memories still came from it. When they had first met on the lookout and shared a lunch together right after they had finished their basics of their training. Now here they were again both advanced of their school. Here they once more beginning to open up to each other after having started at such a quiet beginning. Only for the conversation to have spread tenfold. This was the true power of words and of the bonds of friendship for all to see.
That was when he noticed Obsidia leaving however. At least though everything seemed to be calming down and that was always a great thing especially of now. It meant that he was just here with Atsuko and Ayami now. Usually by now he would have been the one to leave next but rather he was going to stay for a while longer. After all he had only just recently gotten back to earth. He just couldn't believe what had all happened though while he had been gone, he was just thankful that he had gotten here just in time. Atsuko might have been able to handle it on her own but it certainly would have taken longer.
"Just remember Ayami, me and Atsuko, we will always be at your side. So will Excalibur as well. Even Cambia one day! It because we are your friends and that's what friends do for each other." Chris would say one final time with a flashing smile as he looked her and his master right in the eyes. Though he still worried of one thing. One day he might have to go through a similar situation only on based of pure rage. He doubted that a simple talk would knock him out of it like it did for Ayami. It wouldn't even be a beating at first to knock him out of it. It would have to be something to cause him great sadness.
Ayami sniffled a little silently as Atsuko resumed speaking, she stopped shaking, and her entire power had ceased being so harsh. It was as though a raging storm had parted, no longer thrashing a boat on the open sea. She fell almost limp as Atsuko held her, full clarity had returned to the Water Elemi's mind. She almost had to wonder why she ignored their words as much as she had....Still, with kindness, they had finally succeeded in bringing her back from her power-driven madness...What she saw with her full clarity was something she did not fear, thankfully...All due to the efforts of those three to control her damage, a few had been injured, but it didn't appear to be anything deadly, surprisingly. Perhaps her rage made her less effective than she assumed.
"if...I was supposed to be a destroyer...Why do I not feel like one?" She added as Atsuko spoke, furthering the saiyaness's point without any extra effort having to be put in. "Was...It all a lie? But the way I arrived...The power, all of that is real. If I'm not supposed to be a destroyer, what does all of this mean? Was it just a coincidence? Am...I really fighting fate this way?" It made so little sense to her, if she weren't meant to be a destroyer, why did all of these signs match the prophecy she had grown around? It all seemed real to the Water Elemi, something she feared for so long, something that almost kept her locked in her own hidden prison. But now? It was strange...Part of her felt realived at the idea she may finally be free of her fear...Her greatest fear, another part though? Almost didn't want to accept it, perhaps out of another fear, a fear she would suffer for it.
"I...Don't agree with him, either...They didn't really kill her, did they?" She shakes her head, trying to keep her mind off of it. "But...He still raised me even when she was gone...I just don't know what the right thing to do in this situation is...I need help to understand." It was true, she felt hesitation in hating his actions, a deep pain welling in her chest, he may have done bad things, but he was still her father, that was still true now. She just had no idea what to do. in this situation, it all seemed so difficult, even as her mind cleared, the truth was hard to handle.
She looked at Obsidia silently as the woman spoke...She gave a nod. ["I hope...You can pass down your knowledge to me soon. I will be fully willing to learn, if you're willing to teach."]She respectfully responded to the Ancient Elemi through telepathy. Watching as the woman left the area to return to the lookout. She would definitely have to learn from her now that things were looking brighter...That left just Chris now. She looked to him. "You're my friend...Even after seeing what I tried to do...I don't...Know what to say to that." It baffled her that he would still be there, even though he said that friends help eachother through anything...Was it really so true? Friendship was something new to the Water Elemi.
Still...He had no reason to lie, especially not with such a sincere smile. She gave a nod, just understanding it naturally without needing any further explanation. "There's Bernael, too..." Part of her felt relieved...To know they stood by her even after all of that. It made her happy that at the very least, she wasn't alone now...She felt true companionship for perhaps the first time in her life...
The villagers cowared slightly as Atsuko spoke so repremandingly, but eventually, a few did step forth... "Maybe...We were wrong, after all. But we were afraid, he didn't just make that prophecy up, it's existed for ages!" Another spoke. "We didn't encourage her...But it was because we all believed it! Most of us tried to avoid her for fear we would anger her more than even that. We hoped if it were true...Perhaps she would pass us over." The elder stepped forward, standing at the head of the crowd. "None here are at more blame than myself, I'm afraid to admit. I never believed the prophecy myself...I should have put a stop to the paranoia ages ago, perhaps. But I am not one for confrontation, I suppose..."
The villagers looked to their leader with confusion, he never bought it like they did? But why not? As far as they could tell, it had almost come true just now, was he a fool? He provided more to speak of. "I have lived my entire life thinking issues with no basis in reality could be safely swept under the rug...I suppose I was proven terribly wrong today, and it almost costed our entire home. I will make steps to improve my method of handling this scenario, even if they choose not to forgive...I will." He provided a warm smile, one filled with regret that he waited this long to learn from the mistake that he had made, but one still showing forgiveness.
"If you would forgive our ignorance, I personally will always welcome you here. It has been your home for 18 years, ANNND further, I see no reason to change something that is not broken. Regardless of what my people choose, you are a member of our village, now and forever." The villagers all looked amongst eachother, all speaking to eachother, making their words become jumbled in the mass of speech between them all, they all eventually stopped...Looking at Ayami. "I accept her..." "I made a huge mistake, me too!" "I suppose we all made our mistakes, she's a part of our village." One by one they all spoke, all sharing the same regret filled sentiments of acceptance, they all felt as though they had made terrible mistakes, as though the elder was not alone in doing wrongly, Ayami rubbed her eyes for a moment, to wipe away the almost dry tears from her face as she watched them all...She seemed to be lost in thought over whether or not to accept them again.
