The level of control that Nasu showed now... It honestly was very impressive. Maybe if things had gone differently, they could have grown up to respect each other as siblings. More's the pity that they ended up worlds apart literally and figuratively... Still, it would have ended up changing Atsuko considerably, and she never would have met all the people she cared about now, too. Or if she did, they wouldn't have been allies. It was a strange paradox to consider. There really was no easy choice, but if she did have the option to choose... She probably would have stayed this path.
Somehow, it felt as if she was meant to do this. Take up the mantle of a Guardian of Earth, and shelter an entire planet from harm. Not many could claim to take up such an insurmountable feat. Still, she listened closely to her brother's words as she began to explain how Saiyans viewed things. "I see... On some level, I think I do understand it. I've been ready to face my death several times. Even now, if I die... I don't think it would bother me that much. I'd be more concerned what happens to everyone I care about."
The Knight would begin a response. "Cambia needs me.... Hell, all of my students do, too. I can't claim that I understand Saiyans perfectly, it's pretty clear that I don't know anything about them aside from the impressions I've gained... But I can respect ones like you and Komatsu.", the Knight added. The pillar of golden-white energy was still growing to an ever larger height. Very soon, the clash of their highest powers would begin... Both would still be capable of fighting; Nasu quite a deal more so than her. Silently, she wondered if their duel would continue passed this.
Atsuko smirked a little as Nasu then gave his response about how this battle wouldn't change anything. She'd turn her head a little so as to look over at where Karota was. "I know at least one in the Saiyan Alliance that disagrees with that assessment.", the Saiyan replied, she would then look Nasu in the eyes. "This battle won't change what she thinks. Anyone that agrees with her would stand just as firmly in their opinion as well... It's just the same as everyone here on Earth. They're set in their ways. I can't change what they think."
The Knight explained. "Nor would I try to. It would an insult to them. I know you can't force the Saiyans to view me any differently either, and I wouldn't make such a request... Maybe I'm wrong, but I see my standing with the Saiyan Alliance remaining the same as always; an Outcast deserving of no respect.", the Albino Saiyan would then finish on that subject. Finally, Nasu would point out that he wasn't concerned about Jarvis in the slightest, and Atsuko could agree with him on that, but that's not why she brought up such a point to him.
"Nasu, if I was worried about Jarvis... I had enough opportunity to put a stop to him myself. But he's not the one pulling the strings. There's someone actively corrupting anyone in a vulnerable moment... What would be more vulnerable than to have the two largest threats weaken each other? Maybe you can set it aside... But I can't, and I have to apologize for that. I always have to consider the bigger picture.", the Knight stated. Still, she wasn't powering down, and she wasn't dispersing her technique. Instead, she was still pulling as much energy into it as she could muster.
It was nearly time. "...If there's anything else we should discuss, this might be our last chance. I have a feeling we're both about to set out on long journeys after this. I've rarely been wrong with these gut feelings...", Atsuko then states to her brother. "So... We're gonna lose this one, huh? I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that.", the Sacred Sword would send a telepathic message to her wielder. "I don't know if our duel would end there or not... As much of an advantage his technique has over mine, I'd still have strength left over."
The Saiyan pointed out to her companion. "Think there's a chance of winning?", Excalibur inquired. "Probably not. Unless I play my cards very carefully and he doesn't get the chance to apply such an impressive boost to his power again... If that's the case, I'd have an edge against him. I'd just need to reduce the injuries I take as much as possible. It wouldn't be easy.", the Albino Saiyan assessed her odds. But even with that, the Knight couldn't deny that there was a certain feeling of excitement in such a battle, even as outmatched as she was.
It was the total opposite of what she felt when facing off with Karota. But why the hell was she feeling such a surge of adrenaline from a battle with her kin? In every aspect, Atsuko should have hated being forced into such an undesirable situation. But oddly enough, it was the moments where she came the closest to dying and losing that truly made her feel alive... Aside from perhaps, bringing prosperity to her people. But that was a different rush, it wasn't comparable in the same levels. Atsuko was once more staring Nasu in the eyes.
Even though she knew that her defeat was certain, she was burning with determination to continue on despite that. There was no denying that this type of battle would go down in history. "It won't be much longer now at all.", Atsuko would suddenly break her silence, she'd then smile lightly. "If I lose... You know it'll push me to train even harder. That was what happened after our previous battle, you showed me that I needed to do more... If not for your actions, I don't think I would be as ready to defend Earth as I am now."
The Knight added. "Even if I win... You're going to be my inspiration to push myself harder than ever before... It feels like that's the least I can do to respect how far you've come.", the Albino Saiyan finished. Excalibur was nearly done achieving it's full power, just a bit more...

Still a little hurt from his last confrontation, the teenager saiyan was now leaving the battlefield where he was fighting against an earthling, that was trying to interrupt the fight between the two super saiyan two, as the king of planet Blehbarry arrived and butted in the fights, showing off his new acquired power and godhood. Having left the demon lord Bernael to face the giant blue abomination that was now Jarvis Blehbarry, or rather, "Caesar", Hotato was following his uncle back to the main battleground where his cousin Nasu, the Overseer, was facing against the Kami from Earth. On their way however, they encountered Major Komatsu and Private Negi heading towards the fight between the two unholy beings. Miso then turns to his nephew and gives him an order: go and warn Komatsu of the current situation regarding Jarvis. The young half-breed nods and say - Yes sir! Leave to me! - before changing his route to intercept his cousin Komatsu, leaving a red light trail in his path.
As the saiyan boy gets in front of Komatsu and Negi's path, he makes a salute and get close to them before speaking:
- Major! Private! I'm here by order of General Miso. He instructed me to give you both all the info about our last encounter - begin to say Hotato - so to begin with: Jarvis Blehbarry arrived at the General and Colonel fight and after openly speak against the Alliance AND all other factions, breaking the brief coalition Natto had with Blehbarry. Also, he stated that he was now a true "god" - talking in a mocking manner - and proceed to transform into a monstrous form, at least three times the General's size, big black horns, red spiked hair, razor claws, huge maw with sharp pointed teeth...in general he became a kinda blue demon-dragon with power above even the General and Colonel together - and taking a breath before continuing - General Miso was still willing to fight thought, while the Colonel went back to help the Overseer. Was only when the demon guy that was facing the counselors asked to fight Jarvis alone that the General gave orders to go back to the Overseer and gave me my orders when saw you guys - taking another breath - that's it. Anything else that I can do for you Major? - even with a visible bruise on his left arm and some tears on his clothes and cracks on his armor, the teenager saiyan was still willing to fight.

Miso landed near Karota and stared at her with a concerned expression on his face; to see the woman she loved in such a sorry state, being her the warrior he knew she was, made his heart ache and he couldn’t help but exhale sharply and almost painfully. Karota didn’t fail to notice the look on Miso’s face and that made her sigh in frustration and gaze away from him; her arms were almost broken, and her leg was wrecked. The Wolf School Master was enduring some severe pain, but she was holding on to it, not showing it in the slightest. – Don’t look at me that way, I’m embarrassed that kid beat me like this… But, can’t complain much… I charged at her like a mad wolf… - she admitted, without looking Miso in the eye. The large Super Saiyan Two was letting go of his rage little by little until he reverted back to his base super saiyan full power form; without the raging fuel, it was impossible for him to maintain such a form.
– Don’t beat yourself like that, Karota. You couldn’t compete with her… She is on Nasu level and neither of us can even compare… - he said, staring at the two titanic warriors charging their ultimate techniques at one another. – I didn’t see your fight, but I can notice you managed to hold up against her for a while, and that is a real accomplishment. – Miso said, staring back at her. Karota scoffed and chuckled with some irony in her tone. – Some consolation prize it is… And now I’m useless to fight until I heal… And we still have to deal with that treacherous bastard over there… - she said, staring at the place where Jarvis and Bernael were clashing, about a few miles from where they were. Miso stared at there too and just sighed. – I can only hope that either Nasu or Kimiko aren’t completely broken after this… If at least one of the duo is still in fighting shape, then we can most definitely end Jarvis. Bernael will likely be protecting him so… We may have to beat him… - he said, speaking in a tone that only the two of them could listen. Karota stared at Miso for a while, and then back to Nasu and Atsuko. – Then you better hope Nasu win, otherwise she may try the talking method again… - she stated and Miso made a brief nod. – Yeah… You’re right. But, what do you think? Who will win? – he asked her, staring at Karota with the corner of his eyes. The hybrid saiyaness remained silent for a brief second and then shrugged. – Everything can happen in a fight, but from what I’ve been sensing… I would bet on Nasu. – she said. – I just hope he doesn’t kill her… - Miso had a real concern in his tone, because, since he had been fighting away from the main battle, he wasn’t fully aware of what went on with the two siblings. Karota shook her head. – He won’t. – she simply said, leaving Miso quite bugged as to why she seemed so certain of such statement.
Back at the fight…
Atsuko said she wasn’t afraid of the possibility of dying, and that she was more concerned with the fate of her allies. Nasu didn’t like most of them and, when she mentioned their half-sister, he couldn’t help but remember that she severed his tail. Still, he couldn’t find enough rage to actually hate her. Truth be told, before that little episode, she was one of the few he could respect. Nasu would tell her he wasn’t going to kill her, but that could make her lower her guard and not give her all, so he chose not to say that. Therefore, he remained silent, just making a brief nod to her that could mean plenty of things.
After that, once he said that she would be respected, she mentioned Karota, and Nasu scoffed. – Karota doesn’t despise you… This was the first time she turned super saiyan two in a very long time, after losing the ability to do so. You know well the blinding rage… And she was issues with people tag teaming on others. I won’t share much details, but her late husband and her twins were killed in an ambush where they were outnumbered in a coward way. I won’t say anything else on that regard and let you figure out the rest. – he said, then, he stared at where Karota was, only to see Miso there too, back at his base super saiyan form. Nasu stared back at Atsuko once he saw his uncle. – He won’t ever despise you… Miso, our uncle… Is loyal to our father more than anything in the world and… Funny story… He tried to kill dad plenty of times in the past, before they made peace with each other. Maybe one day he will tell you those stories. – he added, shrugging a bit, he was being much more friendly now and that was annoying him, which led him to huff. ”Damn, I want to end this!” he thought to himself, gritting his teeth as the anger got back to his core.
He wouldn’t say anything else regarding her having respect or not; if she wanted to test it out, she could do so later, but right now they had a score to settle. However, what she said next was interesting; someone was pulling the strings on Jarvis, and Nasu knew pretty well who it was. Then she talked about responsibility again and how she couldn’t take her head of it even though they were dueling, and that just made him more angered, with a vein popping out of his temple. – Oh, for fuck sake! I’m here, in front of you, with all my power, and you can’t stop thinking about it?! Goddammit, Kimiko!! Tell you what… - he paused briefly. – Focus on this battle, forget anything else… Give your very best!! I will do the same!! If you do so, I promise you that, if I win, I will protect the excuse of a warriors you call friends! And I know who is pulling the strings… I will handle her later! She is already with a target pinned on her back! – he stated. Then, Nasu put all of his remaining power in the teal-colored Spirit Ball and the sparkles of lightning screeched louder than ever before and that sheer power made him crack a grin.
He chuckled at her words. – Don’t think I will ever fall behind you again! I will surpass you and be forever above you! I’m the eldest! That’s my place! Now… I guess we are ready aren’t we?! – he asked with excitement in his tone as shivers ran down his spine like crazy. Nasu’s aura expanded to its maximum and the Spirit Ball, already huge in size managed to grow even more.
– That’s it, Kimiko!!! Let’s make this universe shake with our power!! Spirit of the Saiyans: SPIRIT BALL!!! – he roared and, as he did so, he fired his powerful attack at an stunning speed. The Spirit Ball was a rather odd technique because, as he fired it, Nasu started moving his index and middle finger, and the Spirit Ball headed towards Atsuko in a zigzag kind of motion, showing her he had full control of the trajectory of that huge attack. – This is it!!! This will settle our score!!! This will define this battle!!! – he added.
Atsuko couldn't help but smirk once more as Nasu attempted to tell her that Karota wouldn't despise her... Truthfully, the Albino Saiyan didn't see any way around that now. It didn't really matter now. Though she did find it interesting to learn about Miso, honestly the guy looked pretty shady... But it was interesting to learn that he was probably one of the few that the Knight could trust the most, if she were ever in the situation to interact with the Saiyan Alliance on more than simple speaking terms. The Saiyan gives a slight shrug of her own in response.
"Maybe you're right.... The rage as a Super Saiyan Two is unreal, I had to pool all of my effort into overcoming it... Getting control over everything involving being a Saiyan has been difficult, really... And as you can tell, I still lose control from time to time.", the Knight replied. It was strange to consider that they were having a rather friendly conversation, despite the fact that they were in the middle of a duel that would effectively decide which was the better fighter. Maybe they really wouldn't be enemies after this; but that wouldn't stop them from being rivals.
Even so, Nasu wanted her to focus on nothing else but this battle, but that was simply impossible. Her position demanded that she didn't lower her guard for even a single moment. The finishing of this duel didn't mean that her fighting days were over, far from it. In fact! She was still only a teenager... There was a very long career of being a Guardian ahead of her. And so much more potential that she intended to dig out of herself. After all, she hadn't even achieved the third form of Super Saiyan! That would be her next goal after this...
"Very well... Until our duel is finished, I'll forget about anything else.", the Knight replied. It wasn't going to be easy to not let her thoughts slip to what the future entailed. The fact of the matter was, this entire fight didn't get them anywhere. Aside from stronger, of course. But their bodies would need a moment to rest, and that left them vulnerable. Near death experiences had a tendency to involve that, after all. The Albino Saiyan then looked at the Spirit Ball he had mustered up once more. It still had such a monstrous power...
And it grew even larger! Damn, he must have been pouring his Warrior Spirit into it, just like the Knight was able to do... Still, his words brought her out of that musing. "Heh... I don't think you understand just how much trouble Earth gets into. I have to break each new limit I obtain damn near on a daily basis!", Atsuko replies with a smile on her face. "But if you're going to stay ahead of me... Then I just have to try even harder! I'll up it to two limits broken per day.", the Knight made a slight jest.
Some may have seen it with an insult, but the way she was speaking to him, the expression on her face. It was clear that her words were meant in the highest respect. "Yeah... I'm ready! I don't intend to lose, brother!", the Saiyan would shout. Then, Nasu threw the Spirit Ball towards her, the power behind it was absolutely massive... Losing to this type of technique wasn't a disgrace, it was an honor! But she wouldn't simply let it annihilate her without resistance! The Knight would swing her sword downwards, pouring every drop of energy and her own spirit into it that she could manage.
"EXCALIBUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRR!!!!", the Knight shouted at the top of her lungs. The wave of golden white energy clashed against the sphere that Nasu had generated, and it was a monumental struggle for all to witness. For a truly impressive amount of time, their clash was even.... But anyone with the ability to sense energy could tell it right away; Atsuko's power was inferior. At least so long as he used that technique... Nasu said it was a combination of his Father's technique, as well as Karota's. So it must have been two Martial Arts techniques combined into one.
But he wouldn't be able to do that again, most likely... Even so, the golden wave of energy then began to dissipate. The remnants of the Spirit Ball continued on it's crash course towards, Atsuko. The Knight would move her golden sword and bring it up in attempts to stop the sphere; a practically meaningless effort... But it would reduce the damage she had taken if successful. In either case, the Spirit Ball would collide against the Albino Saiyan. "GAAAHHHHH!!", escaped the Saiyan's mouth. It forced her back considerably, and she was sent falling to Earth.
But she began to slow her descent. It took a considerable amount of effort on her part. That was a hell of a blow for her to take... The Knight was taking ragged breaths, but slowly turned her gaze back to Nasu. "That... Hurt like hell...", the Albino Saiyan stated between her gasps for air... But slowly, she was becoming stable. It was a good thing she saved up her energy, otherwise that would have killed her. The Knight's armor was cracked, and nearly broken. Several parts of her robe had been burned away, and her body was covered in various injuries.
But she was still standing... And Atsuko began to ease herself back into her stance. "Hah... Looks like it wasn't enough to leave me unable to fight... I can keep going, Nasu! How about you?", the Albino Saiyan asked with another smirk on her face. Every fiber in her being ached, and it screamed for her to rest... But if she still had any ability to fight, she wasn't going to stop! Not unless her brother was satisfied with the outcome... Like hell he was, he would want to see this fight through to it's end, just as much as she did!
And maybe now, she had a slight advantage if she minimized the damage she took from now on!

Komatsu would sharply keep his senses on the fight happening between Jarvis and Bernael. It seemed that there was another power there, much weaker than them but he was still fighting. He didn't recognize the energy signature, and could only assume that it was one of Earth's Defenders. Damn it... why where there so many of them? He might not be as strong as the opponent he was fighting, but hell his power wasn't weak...
Even after Komatsu had told Negi that they should stay here and assure the best ending for his siblings fight, the young saiyan was barely paying any attention to it... even though both of their powers were horrifyingly huge! Jarvis now had his full attention, and Komatsu was trying his damnest not to fly over and knock him into the ground. Komatsu had his arms crossed at this point, his finger impatiently tapping away on his bicep as he felt the flow of the battle through his Ki Sense. He wouldn't react beyond that, until he could feel that smaller power begin to fade.
"... aw man..." Komatsu tried to sound depressed at the fact that whoever this was was most likely dying, however the sudden rather sadistic smirk that crossed Komatsu's face betrayed his words. It was definitely a perfect excuse for him to beat on the man he hated so much! He had sworn to keep everyone alive, even the Defenders of Earth, and if Jarvis had just killed one, then that looked bad on Koma. No doubt they would think he just stood by and let it happen... and like hell he would let them belittle him like that.
With the wave of emotions swirling in his body now, Komatsu was in fact ecstatic at the prospect of being able to fight with his full power. He had a looooot of frustrations to vent, and he would vent them all on Jarvis... maybe this would even save his brother and sister the trouble of having to deal with him themselves? Of course Koma could sense the difference in their power... but he really didn't care at this point.
Whenever Hotato walked up to them, explaining that Miso had ordered him to brief them on the situation with Jarvis, Komatsu's eyes darted around looking for his uncle. When he found him next to Karota, he would simply glance back towards Hotato. They were both Super Saiyan two's, and had both been unable to bring Jarvis down... hehehe how pissed would Miso be if Komatsu did it in his current form?
"Right. Thank you for the information, Hotato. If Miso gave you any further orders please carry them out, if not, please stay here with the Corporal in my stead. Negi, slight change of plans. I'm trusting you to look after my siblings once this duel of theirs is done, which judging by the pwoers that they are both holding won't be very long now. Please make sure that they both stay alive. I'm going to make sure this Demonic piece of shit is weakened for when they get there~" Komatsu would say with a hint of excitement in his voice. His power would flare up around him yet again, his hair changing to gold and spiking back a little more, his eyes returning to teal as Komatsu would soar from his position with all of the speed available to him. He wasn't going to miss this opportunity... and he could easily see things going his way in this fight...
Behind him, the sound of the clashing titanic energy's rang in his ears, but Komatsu didn't look back. He had a new mission in mind. It was a very selfish one.... but wasn't he aloud to be a little selfish after everything he had been through?

As it stood Valentine completely lost his marbles for a moment after Nasu's zenkai not believing that this man was still standing. For all Valentine knew; Nasu was some immortal being who simply liked to pick on the Earth/earthlings. Still, some part of him couldn't help but feel like maybe Nasu was justified in his actions. He was the one who apparently held the power and they were the ones left scrambling about looking for ways to survive. Nasu on the other hand didn't look like he was surviving; from Valentine's point of view, he saw a warrior deeply enjoying the throes of battle.
Was that not how Houri told him most Saiyan's tended to be. Was it only because of the fact that Valentine was of hybrid blood that he could not feel the same passion for battle. Valentine's own flavor was more suited towards conquests; small skirmishes like these paled towards large scale warfare and completely decimating a foe. But often Valentine was more suited to sit back and relish his days as a true pothead would. And honestly; in some ways Valentine's life was much safer while living a life based on the demands of the street and the black market.
Before beings that could fly and emit almost godly amounts of energy while fighting at almost incomprehensible speeds as well. But now that Valentine knew such beings existed and that he was at least partially a part of a powerful empire of warriors, Valentine knew he had to be more than just a drug dealer. Not to say that he was giving up smoking as he intended to grow strong enough to introduce his way of living. He'd create a world without battles or strife where one could truly get away and safely smoke their product or do whatever other stuff people do to relax.
It was around this time in his reverie that Kiro flew over and shook him to his senses before telling him to leave the look out before things got out of hand. And Valentine couldn't help but wonder what was this man's definition of out of hand as Valentine considered things out of hand a long time ago. But still Valentine couldn't help but note that his time on this look out was drawing near a close and that he would need to head to safety until he was much stronger and better prepared to do battle as a true Saiyan. He quickly made his way back to Houri ship which would provide him a place as a safe haven.

When Hotato approached both Negi and Komatsu, he immediately began to brief them on what was going on over the other battle ground. Of course he had mistakenly called Negi a Private, while he was a higher ranking Corporal, but, other than frowning his lips a bit in a prototype of a grimace, he didn’t seem all that bothered; Hotato was new to the military anyway. Seemed like the King Caesar had broken the alliance the two factions had and, once again, they were enemies. ”At least we saved the saiyans in time… Thank goodness this brief alliance accomplished something…” Negi thought to himself. Jarvis also claimed to be a true god now but. Negi was indeed feeling some odd sensation coming from him but, power level wise, he was leagues below Atsuko and Nasu over there, which maybe implied that gods can be as easily defeated as mortals.
Komatsu thanked him for the information, and, if he had no further orders, he wanted him to stay by Negi’s side. Negi arched one of his eyebrows and stared at Komatsu while he continued to explain what he had in mind: the Major wanted Negi to look after Nasu and Atsuko after the duel because he was going to engage Jarvis in combat. Negi arched both his eyebrows in shock and surprise and, after this brief moment of being incapable of speaking, he frenetically shook his head. – But, Major! He is too strong! And you would be fighting alone! I can’t let you do this by yourself! I will joi… ugh!! Cough cough!!! – before Negi could continue, the injuries his body was sustaining kicked in and made him fall to one of his knees, coughing a bit more. Once he finished, he exhaled sharply and grimaced, staring back at Komatsu. He was embarrassed he was in such a sorry state. – On second though… I guess I will just be a hindrance if I tag along… I don’t even think I can go super saiyan right now… - he admitted. Still, Christopher seemed to be heading there too and, maybe, if he and Komatsu tagged along, they would have a chance. – Good luck, Major! Kick his ass, okay?! – Negi changed his attitude and, after he said that, he turned to Hotato.
– Guess there isn’t much for the likes of us to do right now… - and, although that statement made him feel ashamed, he knew that, in a battle where a person like Karota could be considered a small fry, he was nothing.
Back at the fight…
Nasu had just fired the absurdly powerful Spirit Ball against Atsuko, who answered with her fully powered Excalibur, the very same technique she had used before, only this time Nasu was truly going all out, pouring all of his strength in that attack. His very soul and the spirit of his comrades was in that attack; that ultimate combo was his greatest ace, an ace that he could only afford to use once in combat. Not that he would be worthless in combat after that, but this was his nuke and he was willing to make the most out of it. Shortly before the clash, though, Atsuko had jested, saying she would have to train even harder, and Nasu chuckled to that, he liked the idea of having a strong rival pushing him to his very limit. In a sense, he was glad she happened to be his enemy for so long, otherwise, he was pretty much sure he would be only at super saiyan level tops. Fate played its cards in a perfect way, so much that both Natto and Tomoroko now had two siblings with an absurd power, and there was still Komatsu, that was easily one of the strongest people alive, getting really close to reaching super saiyan two potential, while the former where almost tapping into super saiyan three potential.
The beam struggle seemed even for a short second, but, as Nasu took a deep breathe, he pressed his fingers forward. – This feeling! It’s exhilarating! Don’t you think so, Kimiko?! Doesn’t your saiyan blood boils with all this power?! Hahaha! – he said in an overly excited tone. The Spirit Ball continued to overpower the Excalibur until it completely overpowered it and hit Kimiko. The second Nasu’s ultimate technique touched his sister’s body, he clenched the fist controlling it, making the Spirit Ball to explode in a large sphere of energy and doom. The whole environment surrounding it was completely destroyed; rock cliffs were disintegrated, the wind blew like never before with the sheer power of the impact more than enough to destroy the whole planet, but, thanks to Atsuko’s body, there was no further damage to it; not that Nasu intended to do any, it was just way too powerful. The smoke took over the place only briefly because of the raging winds and, as it cleared, there was Atsuko, alive and not yet defeated. Nasu arched one of his brows, quite impresses with his sister’s resilience, making him respect her a little bit more now.
She was having some difficult breathing. Her armor was almost completely broken, and a lot of her robes were burned away. She was severely injured and that was a fact. If Nasu hadn’t allowed her to recover enough, she would most certainly be dead now, and that made him crack a grin, feeling prideful of way too many things to list.
He couldn’t help but to chuckle when she said that it hurt like hell and he nodded in agreement. – Guess congratulations are in place! You’ve managed to withstand my greatest ace! - Then, as she fell back to her fighting stance, Nasu got into a new stance: his left hand was in front of his body in a claw shaped form, while the other arm as tightly close to his body, with elbow bent and clenched fist; it was like the fusion of the Soy School and the Wolf School stances. When she said that it wasn’t enough to render incapable of fighting, he chuckled a tad bit more. – You never cease to surprise, do you? Hahaha! – he said, feeling the shivers of excitement running down his spine. – But… I wonder… How much can you still take?! I would offer you a chance to accept defeat now but… It would be a hollowed victory! And I won’t settle for anything less than ultimate victory! – he said in an excited tone and then, without waiting any second, Nasu charged against her with an absurd speed, with his sparkling aura screeching loudly as he scratched the skies of Earth, turning crimson now with the fall of the night. The rain had ceased to pour by now. Nasu attempted to grab Atsuko’s neck with his claw shaped hand in a tight, suffocating grip.
Atsuko grinned. "I have to admit... There's a certain feeling of excitement that I've never felt before in a fight like this.", the Knight would respond to his comment. True, she lost the clash. But she was still standing! That was something deserving of respect, anyone that wanted to deny it was more than welcome to come and fight her; they wouldn't fare any better than Nasu had right now. It gave a rush, and she finally felt her Saiyan Pride again. It was something that had laid dormant for so long, she was just protecting a planet, and training her students...
There was nothing to compare to this. No great challenges, just idling the time away, effectively. "So, it looks like I was right... That power is unreal, but you can only bring it to that level once!", the Saiyan would state as Nasu mentioned it as being his ace. That was an advantage, then. But she had to really stay on top of her game now! That was an incredible amount of damage she had taken... But their powers were still so even, when they clashed in melee, she should only take incredibly minimal injury. It'd let her save up her energy.
That would be key, because now Excalibur was more powerful than anything he had. Even the Spirit Ball paled in comparison without his Father's technique. If she was careful, she could still claim victory... And she was sure as hell going to try for it! "Heh... Tell you what, if I get to the point where a single strike would be enough to kill me, then I'll concede defeat! Until then... We still have a duel to finish!", Atsuko would then state. Her brother would then rush straight towards her in a new stance, seeming to be a combination of his two Martial Arts.
He was trying to grasp her throat, but instead of aiming for another clash against him, she would instead let him close the distance, but circle around him just as he was within reach! All the while, she'd unleash another spinning slash in the process. "HAAGHH!!", would escape her lips. Straining her body like this... She was probably going to regret it later, but for now it was giving her such an amazing surge of adrenaline! She was able to ignore that she even had pain, the Albino Saiyan was going to push through all of it.
No more distractions! Just a duel for them to finish! Her aura flaring up to it's peak; only hindered by the fact that she was winded from using her ultimate technique earlier. "We've been at this for so long it's turned night... So there is truth to the stories that Super Saiyans can end up fighting for days!", the Knight would suddenly comment. The reason why she knew of this? Because the Timeless Lookout had a rather expansive Library; the Guardians had a tendency to note down every important thing that successors would need to know.
Atsuko intended to do the same one day. But that would be in her twilight years, or at least when she had far more experience under her belt. "I wonder... If this is what it means to be Saiyan? I hardly feel tired or any pain at all now! I just feel a rush to keep fighting!", Atsuko would muse aloud. This was her first time truly feeling her instincts on a more positive note, and... She couldn't deny that it felt great. It almost didn't matter who won from this point on! Just that they had such a fight at all was enough!
"Atsuko, are you alright? You seem pretty different.", the Sacred Sword sent her telepathic message. "I feel great, Excalibur! Like this actually makes me feel alive! I should still focus on my duties, but... I've been working so hard, I'll consider this a bit of time off, I can forget about everything else and just enjoy this feeling!", the Knight replies. It still didn't make sense that she was enjoying it so much, but there was just something fulfilling about it. Perhaps something that only Saiyans could understand, and as much as she denied what she was at times...
Atsuko was still very much a Saiyan, and now everyone could see that; as 'soft' as she was. Her energy was slowly building back up, that was good! By her estimation, she'd be able to use Excalibur again... That would be her trump card from this point on. If her brother used a technique, then she would punish it with her most powerful technique, if he didn't, then she'd reach full power and then use Excalibur once more! At that point, Nasu could be just as injured as she was, if not even more so! It was the best plan she had.
It was risky to bank it all on him not being able to use both of his greatest techniques in tandem... But sometimes you just had to take risks, that was something Atsuko was beginning to understand more than anything else now. In any case, she'd ease herself into stance and watch her brother's movements closely. They were even enough that as long as she stayed on the defensive, he wouldn't be able to take her entirely by surprise. Maybe it was good that she constantly pushed herself on a daily basis... Otherwise, she wouldn't be nearly as prepared for all this.
In many ways she was grateful for the fact that she trained the ability to sense on a Galactic scale, she was even more thankful for the warning that the Supreme Kai had given her. Otherwise there was definitely no way she would have been set for this moment. There was a slight feeling of disappointment that she was no longer stronger than Nasu in raw power... But she could make up for that through skill. There was no denying that he was a skilled warrior as well, but he'd have to try a bit harder than she would.
Or at least, that was her observation.

Hotato had briefed his superiors as best as he could, of how much of a menace has Caesar had become and how he had cut ties with the Saiyan Alliance. Then Komatsu told him and Negi to stay there and do not follow him, leaving alone to face the big blue devil - 'Well, I did the best I could to warn him, if needed I guess uncle, and even Nasu, will come to help him'. Using the scouter to confirm the situation between the fight of Bernael and Caesar, he had noticed that the same saiyan boy who was later fighting Negi and Toru had also moved to the same battlefield Hotato had come from and began to fight the Caesar - 'The demon guy won't like this...' - but the energy signature of Hotato's last opponent had ceased to exist - 'Well, I knew things would end up like that. Jarvis is not an opponent to the weak, and I fear Komatsu will end up facing "it" and Bernael together. I shouldn't tell this to Negi, looking all beaten up like this, he and me will end up just like that earthling if we get too close...what to do?'
- Hey, err, Negi right? - looking at the gloomy expression on Negi's face, the teenage half-breed gives him a tap on the shoulder - Come on, we still have work to do! We better go tend to the Colonel and help to avoid any other interference on the Overseer's fight. The Major can take care of himself and if needed, the General will be able to help him.
Rising his blazing red aura, the saiyan boy fly towards Miso and Karota, he lands behind them and begins to put back his weights, that he had left on the floor before went crazy when first arrived at the battlefield, while also using his scouter to give his ship a command - Land near the other saiyan ships. The in-board computer then responds back - Roger - and the ship begin to slow descend near the enormous mothership of the alliance. And finishing to recompose himself, the saiyan boy now turns to his uncle and Karota. Even after the early scolding, the young half-breed had been able to act normally with Miso, maybe because his uncle had forgiven him, like a idiot child is forgiven for their mistakes. But with Karota was another story. The feeling shamed and guilty for his actions rushed back when near her, maybe because she was the one scolding him and Kohlrabi... - 'Wait...where's Kohlrabi...?' - the blue haired saiyaness was almost every time, it was weird when she revolted - 'Maybe she was hit with too much strength and is resting. Well, need to focus on my assignments'
- General, I briefed the Major on the situation and he left telling me and Negi to stay here - turning to Karota, he could now see that the Colonel was badly hurt, specially her leg. Swallowing his shame for a later time, he gets near Karota - Colonel, sorry to interrupt you when watching the fight, but is there anything I can do to help with your wounds?
In case positive, Hotato will help, if not he will stay paying attention to the fight, in hopes to learn from it.

Nasu chuckled when Atsuko admitted that she was feeling excited with this fight, it was a true thrilling battle that was pushing both fighters to their very limit, and that was what he was seeking for and, in the end, if Nasu accomplished his goal of beating her, he would be able to feel much more at peace with himself, so there was no way he wasn’t going all out, using all of his cunning strategies and skill to surpass her at every moment, at every move. The secret to win a battle is to keep control during all times; a single slip, a simple distraction may be enough to take way what seems like a certain victory and Nasu knew that all too well. When she mentioned that he could only use it once, he chuckled again. In the honesty you can only find while clashing fist to fist with an opponent you learn to respect, and when the battle reach such a point, there’s no reason to lie regarding such things, and therefore he nodded. – Yes, you are right! I can’t use it again, until my body has rested enough! The Spirit of the Saiyans is very taxing! But that’s to be expected from something dad would develop! – he said, reaffirm the fact that Natto was the one to develop such a technique.
”She has only one advantage against me… That Excalibur technique… She used it twice and I don’t know if she can do it again… But I must consider she can! My strategy needs to take that as a fact! I must be prepared to face Excalibur again, and I think I know how!” he thought to himself, without losing the grin he had on his face. As he tried to grab her neck with his claw-shaped hand, Atsuko successfully and skillfully dodged his attack and immediately countered with a spinning slash, but Nasu was already prepared; it was the same pattern from before. The saiyan warrior glared at her and spun his waist, matching the spin of her slash and then he intercepted it with a powerful hook from his right hand, now using the Soy School style, a much more aggressive one, hitting her blade and overpowering it just slightly, but enough to win such a clash of fist and steel. – AAHHH! – he screamed as he attacked her blade, the damage was minimal, but it was there and was something. Worst case scenario, if the fight kept on going like this, Nasu would eventually wear Atsuko out with tons of minimal injuries that would be added to the major injuries from the Spirit Ball attack. When she mentioned the stories of saiyans fighting for days, Nasu laughed a bit in pride.
– Oh yeah, Kimiko! I’ve done that myself, both during my conquering of a planet when I was but a teenager, and during the Alliance-Empire War! Saiyans are a true warrior race! We cannot be bested by any other race! – and there was plenty of pride in his tone, but he truly believed on those words; his father and mother had been the strongest of the universe during their time, and before them, the Saiyan Empire’s queen was the strongest, and that was a cycle that kept on repeating throughout the ages. – That’s precisely what it means to be a saiyan! And I’m glad you finally feel it! The thrill of the battle! The rush of blood! I’m glad to be fighting a saiyan now, and not an earthling piece of shit! Hahaha! – and, although it may not sound like to many, it was a compliment; Nasu was finally recognizing her as a saiyan, and he was doing so for the very first time in his life.
Meanwhile…
Hotato spoke to Negi, telling that they still have stuff to do and he just nodded in agreement; he suggested they should tend to the Colonel and be on guard to avoid any further interference. In all honesty, Negi didn’t think anyone else would interfere at this point, but they shouldn’t lower their guard nonetheless. Negi followed Hotato as he headed towards Miso and Karota, who were watching the fight with very alerted eyes, trying their very best to follow their uncanny speed and, even though they were stronger than any other there, they were having trouble seeing all movements they were throwing at each other.
– Impressive how he can change in between the Soy and the Wolf School so swiftly… Not even I can do that the way he does… - she admitted, slightly frustrated with the fact that her student surpassed her so quickly. Miso chuckled at that statement and nodded. – Yeah, but don’t beat yourself up because of that… I can’t even learn another style! Heh! I guess I will keep on using my brutish version of the Soy School forever! Hehehe! – and that comment lightened the mood a bit as Karota stared at Miso for a second and giggled. She was holding up amazingly considering the heavy amount of injuries she had.
Once the two hybrid boys landed, Hotato spoke first, informing he had done as he was ordered and Miso nodded to him, with his smirk on the corner of his mouth. – Good job, brat. – he simply said, Then, as Hotato turned to Karota, asking if there was anything he could do to help her she just shook her head. – I’m fine. I will head to a medical machine once this battle is over. This whole battle I mean. – she said, staring now at Jarvis battle in the distance. – Seems like that boy just died… - she mused for a while, and Miso nodded in agreement. – Yeah… He kind of asked for it. A shame… He was brave. Stupid. But brave. – Miso mentioned and Karota nodded in agreement. Then, the saiyaness turned her emerald-colored eyes to Negi.
– You look terrible. Don’t you want to go back to the ship? We’ve got it. – she said, but Negi shook his head. – No, ma’am! I will see this through! Until the very end! – and he had plenty of determination in his tone, which made Karota smile and giggle again. – That’s why I like you! – and Negi blushed with her words. At the same time, Miso turned to Hotato, watching him curiously with his teal-colored super saiyan eyes. – So… Nephew, uhn? Where’s my sister? – he asked, curious to know the fate of Koko.
Atsuko gives a nod of affirmation as Nasu explains the technique he used... Spirit of the Saiyans, and something that Natto developed, no less. It sounds like their Father really was a great guy... Something that relied on one's comrades in order to draw out an even greater power. It almost sounded like something that the Albino Saiyan would have developed; she probably would have if not for Excalibur's guidance. Whether that was a blessing or a curse was up for much debate. One could hardly deny just how useful the Sacred Sword's technique was in a battle. Especially in that it could be used as much as any other technique...
Well, as long as you had the energy for it! But she and Nasu were both at the point where their intense training had brought strain to a nearly unrecognizable level. They really had to try in order to leave themselves entirely drained, and each had managed to bring about such a reaction out of the other due to sheer power and skill... It was little to doubt that their battle would probably end the same way, both entirely exhausted! "It sounds like I would have gotten along great with him..."
The Knight mused. "Well... In a way, I have. Speaking with him and Mother in Otherworld was... Well, rather shocking. But I'm glad that it happened, for a variety of reasons.", the Saiyan continued. About as she had anticipated, her brother was able to counter her attack again. It wasn't a very large injury... Small and hardly noticeable, really. If this was how he intended to take her down, then they would both likely end up dying of old age long before that, even with her considerable injuries accounted for! Still, it bought her some time, and that let her think about the best approach.
"Did you see it, Atsuko?", Excalibur would inquire. "Yeah, I did... How he was moving when he used the Spirit Ball, and how he used it's built up power.", the Saiyan would reply, pausing for a moment as she thought it over. "I can't say for sure... I've only seen it once, but it doesn't seem to work like every other technique. Unless you're actively pouring power into your attack due to a clash... You tend to just fire and forget. It allows you free movement, effectively. But he didn't do that for the sphere."
The Albino Saiyan continued to theorize. "I don't think anyone would make a technique where you can't move until you've hit your target, that's just poor strategy. Nasu definitely wouldn't make such a rookie mistake... So there has to be an advantage in that. Maybe he can continue to direct where the attack goes... If that's the case, if I throw my technique at him, he would be able to direct that sphere around it and hit me. But he'd take full damage too.", the Saiyan finished her observation. Was there any way to tell if she was correct?
Not really, but it lined up, and it was all that she had to bank on. So now it was time to account for that in her upcoming actions. "If he can do that, I need to make sure I build up enough energy where he'd lose the duel too. If nothing else, we'd have a draw. If I force him to clash against me, then I'd win it, and slowly build up an advantage on him.", Atsuko finished. "Sounds pretty solid to me... I wish we had more time and information, but we wouldn't get answers by asking him."
Still, for an observation in the heat of the moment, it was something more than they had than just rushing in blindly. Finally, her brother then began to respond to her comment about Super Saiyans being able to fight for days.[/i] "Yeah... I can see why Saiyans are feared. There's not many that can claim to conquer an entire planet; or blink it out of existence in an instant... But I've felt a lot of frightening powers, and I've seen a lot of amazing potential, not all of them Saiyan... But it's as you said, none of that matters now!"
The Knight replied, then cracking a small smile as Nasu acknowledge her as a Saiyan. "Heh... You know, it's because of Earth and wanting to protect it that I pushed myself so much! You may not see very much in Earthlings... But I care about them, they may not hold strength as Saiyans do, but they make up for it in other ways. Of course, every battle with you reminds me that I need to push myself even harder so I can actually protect them! I know you don't care about them, but I can't slack off on my training!"
The Knight would then ease into her stance again. By this point, she was numb to all of the pain in her body as her energy was slowly rebuilding to it's peak. "So... As an Earthling, thank you for helping me become stronger... And as a Saiyan, I'll repay you with a fight that you can remember as being one of the greatest!", Atsuko finished. With that, she'd purposely flare up her power a bit higher than usual, so as to kick up some of the rubble and dirt into the air, it offered a bit of cover in her approach.
It wasn't perfect, obviously, but all the same she'd charge forth and attempt to thrust her sword at Nasu! She didn't expect any of her attacks to actually hit him... He was just too skilled and there was enough of a power difference for him to counter every time, but if he relied on that, then it'd simply take too long to actually be a threat to her. She tried to disguise it all as much as she could, though. Atsuko may have had bigger plans for the battle, but Nasu didn't need to know that; he had just as many secrets, after all.
And both of them wanted nothing more but to win!

When Atsuko said that it sounded like she would get along with Natto, Nasu remained silent for a second. ”Most likely… He would really get along with her… As much as I hate to admit, she has some of his kindness… Not all of it, but, still… Something… I wonder why he chose to send her to Earth… I wish I could ask them that… Mom and dad…” he thought to himself, as his smile diminished a bit. Atsuko also mentioned the time when she managed to speak with them in the afterlife and Nasu couldn’t help but feel rather envious of such an opportunity; he missed them like hell, a lot more than Atsuko could even imagine. Nasu almost worshiped his father and the cross-shaped scar he bears on his face was self-made in order for him never to forget the betrayal his father suffered at the hands of the treacherous slaves they fought so fiercely to free from the grasps of the Saiyan Empire. ”We should’ve left them to rot in chains…” he thought with bitterness, but he still kept a little smile on his face; as much as those thoughts made him angry and sad, the thrill of the fight, the shivers constantly running down his spine would keep his spirits up, especially when he was winning, as he was once again reminded of as his attack bested – though just barely – Atsuko’s sword swing. ”I’m the best fighter here… And, little by little, I’m recovering my energy!” he thought to himself in excitement, making his smile widen again, back to how it was.
Then, after analyzing her brother for a while, she began to speak again. She said she understood why saiyans were feared and that made Nasu chukle; he liked the fact that the minor races feared the saiyans, it was a proof of their ruthless and incomparable power that placed them above all else. Nasu hmphed at her words, when she implied other races could be as frightening. ”Yeah, some of them can, but none of them can even compare to the pinnacle of a saiyan’s power!” he reassured himself with plenty of conviction and pride. Atsuko explained, after that, that the reason she managed to grow so much as because she had to protect the earthlings, and Nasu scoffed at that. She was right, he didn’t see much in earthlings. In fact, Nasu though they were almost completely worthless, save for the fact that, when their blood got mixed with saiyan blood, they were capable of granting some crazy power to their offspring, and Nasu liked that, it was very useful if their saiyan part was dominant. He couldn’t see them making up for their weakness in anyway, but Atsuko was bewitched by their charm and there was no use arguing with her regarding that.
– I fail to understand why you like them so much… All across the universe, the earthlings may be the weakest race I’ve ever encountered! – he said. – The only good thing about them is producing hybrids because of the power of mixed blood and the crazy potential, but, other than that… They are pretty much useless, they lack knowledge and, as consequence, technology… Their culture is too soft and they are frail! But… We follow the path we’ve chosen and, although I will never understand yours, nor why our parents wanted to protect this backwater planet and those ungrateful people, I will respect your choice because of your strength! – and that was the best she could get from him regarding earthlings. When she said she thanked him in different ways with both of her sides, he rolled his eyes and chuckled. – Oh, shut up and fight! I’m nearly done with words! Hahaha! – he teased her, and, almost like she was answering to his teasing, Atsuko flared up her power and kicked some rubble and dirt into the air.
Reacting to that, Nasu flared his ki aura to its peak and leaped backwards, putting a little more distance in between then as he charged a blue-colored ki blast on his right hand. His aura took care of vaporizing the remaining dirt that reached him and, as she attempted to thrust her blade into him, he countered by firing the ki blast right at the sword. The attack managed to destroy most of the ki blast, but some energy remained and hit her after their clash of power and skill where, once again, Nasu prevailed ever so slightly. It was another tiny victory, but it was paving his way to ultimate victory as his body recovered its full stamina and physical capacity after such an intense clash of ultimate power.
”Good, I’m feeling almost completely rested right now! My decisive move won’t take much longer now! And with that I will most certainly settle this fight!” he thought to himself, chuckling a tad bit more. He was feeling completely excited and he had plenty of confidence he would emerge the victory of such an intense and galaxy shaking battle.
When Nasu said that he failed to understand why Atsuko cared for the Earthlings so much, it caused her to calm down slightly, and a more gentle smile appeared on her face. "Brother... I don't expect you to understand. You are young, strong! You've grown up in a Saiyan's lifestyle, at that. It makes no sense to you until the day when you consider that there may in fact be more to life than fighting and raw power... Maybe you don't see that day coming, but time has a funny way of changing people.", the Knight calmly explained to Nasu.
He wouldn't care about any of it, or even seriously consider any of it even if he did care to listen... But still. There was some truth to her words. He rolled his eyes and let out a chuckle at her way of thanking him from two different cultures at once, and then he began to react to her advance... He flared up his power, much like she did, and that afforded him a better visibility on the approach. She was fast, but he had a better reaction time in this case, and used his Ki in order to take away any damaging potential in her blow.
It was another light injury... The pain barely registering in her mind at this point. But rather than pressing onto the offensive in order to stall for just a bit more of her energy, she backed off. This time, she would throw her arms outwards, surging her energy out in all directions, kicking up far more dirt and rubble into the air. In all of this confusion, she'd suppress her energy as well. There weren't many places to hide, not that she needed to. She just needed a bit more time to gather her energy.
But Atsuko would begin moving, as fast as she could manage it while keeping her energy suppressed to nearly undetectable levels. Her objective was to stay out of Nasu's line of sight for as long as she could maintain it. He'd be expecting another attack, perhaps. If that was the case, then her brother would only realize too late what her goal actually was. He couldn't hit a target that he couldn't see, and that was what she was banking on! She'd finally dart into cover as the dust finally begins to settle. Even if he surged his power in opposition...
It'd still take time for all of the dust to settle back down. It was a very brief window, and while she was just a bit slower than he was, there was enough of an opportunity if she spared absolutely zero time in her goal. The Knight would then slow her breathing... Becoming as quiet as possible. She wouldn't keep hiding for long... This was just to build up her energy, and she wasn't intending to escape. Even Nasu could tell that much. "Do you think this is going to work, Atsuko?", the Sacred Sword then chimed in.
"No idea. It can honestly go any way from here on out... But he has his full power back, and I was at a slight disadvantage. If we have another struggle, I need to make sure I have as many advantages I can hold onto. I need every drop of energy, even if my theory holds true. He'd still be able to counter it by pouring more strength into his attack than I would be able to manage.", she'd respond to her companion. "Yeah... I see what you mean. The alternative is that he'd go through with another struggle, and you wouldn't have the energy to win."
The Knight would nod slightly. "That's right... When I use my technique again, I want to make sure that he can't go around it because it's too risky, and that he can't just straight up overpower me because I used it too early.", the Albino Saiyan replies. "Right. So what do we do if he catches onto your plan?", Excalibur inquired. "Then it's just another straight up struggle. He won't be able to throw it at me unless he can spot me first. And since he can't sense me now...", Atsuko assures her companion.
Still, the stakes were incredibly high. Almost too high for her liking, really. Still, the adrenaline was coursing through her entire body at this rate. If not for the fact that she was damn good at meditation, she might have given herself away by now... And if she knew her brother by now, he wouldn't actually threaten the planet. But it was better not to keep him waiting, even despite that! "So... This is really going to be the deciding moment of the battle, huh? Sheesh... I didn't think you kids would be able to wear me out like this!"
Excalibur jested, letting out a hearty laugh afterwards. "Heh, you seem to be having fun at least! Still... I can't help but wonder what's going through Nasu's head right now. I can't imagine he's the most happy with me pulling a stunt like that. Sorry, brother. But there's more to fighting than just constantly charging at your enemy!", the Knight mused. Already, she could feel it. Her full power was back... And maybe her attempt at hiding afforded her the right advantage. Time would definitely reveal it to her. It was about time to use her ultimate technique again.
It was just as Excalibur said, this was practically going to be what decided their battle once and for all. Who would win? Would it be a draw? The anticipation of it all was starting to build up in her, and she didn't really want to keep hiding... But it was better to be safe rather than sorry, when she knew she had all of her energy back, that was when she would strike. Patience is quite the rewarding virtue! "Don't know if... Anyone in my family would approve of this tactic, really. I can't be distracted by that, though."
Finally, her thoughts came to an end. There was nothing left but to wait!

The super saiyan two warrior just hmphed at her words; understanding and growing fond of earthlings wasn’t something he could ever picture himself doing, it was just too below him to even care for that weak race, but he decided not to contest her words and just shrugged it off. Then, as the blast hit her with the tiny remaining energy, Atsuko threw her arms outwards, making Nasu narrow his eyes in curiosity and completely alerted to her actions. ”What is she doing?” he asked himself, preparing for anything she could throw. Anything, but what she had done!
Atsuko used her energy to make a real mess of the fighting grounds! She fired her energy to all directions and, in the blink of an eye, the whole place became filled with dirt and rubble to an annoying level! Nasu instinctively covered his eyes from the dirt as he flew away from it and back into the air as fast as he could. Down below there was nothing but a huge mess of dirt and rubble, turning it impossible to see anything. On top of that, Atsuko’s power level dropped quickly, to the point he could no longer feel her and that made him feel rather angered. Nasu frowned his brows and gritted his teeth, growling a bit too.
”Dammit! She is hiding to recover her energy! She saw that she wouldn’t succeed by engaging me in physical combat and now is doing that! I guess she can’t grow out of her earthling ways… It’s stained in her blood now… Goddammit! This is annoying!!” he thought to himself, feeling rather frustrated. – Very clever, Kimiko! – he said in a loud tone, as his teal-colored eyes restlessly searched for her, but failed to see any trace of the super saiyaness. – You used an earthlings tactic to hide, but it won’t work with me! – he told her and, as he said that, Nasu reached his battle suit with his hand and grabbed a tiny capsule that, once he pressed its button, became his father’s advanced red scouter. Nasu cracked a grin upon seeing the gadget and mused for a bit. ”It has been a while since the last time I used it, hahaha! Never thought it would come in handy at such a fierce battle! Good thing I brought it with me in the end… Thought I would solely use it for communication, but… This will allow me to find her!” he thought to himself, chuckling a bit with his countermeasure to Atsuko’s little stunt.
Nasu quickly put the scouter on his left ear and, by pressing the button, he began scanning the area. First the scouter caught Jarvis’ power, then Bernael’s, Komatsu’s, Miso’s, Christopher’s, Toru’s, who were all in their powered up states. ”Lower, focus on the lower signatures!” he thought to himself, as the scouter began to search for the lower ones, finding Karota’s, Negi’s, Houri’s, Hotato’s, Beau’s and Arion’s, but it needed to go even lower. ”Karota told me that there’s a limit to how low a warrior can suppress their power level, and a scouter can still find it! I will find her and, when I do, I will utterly defeat her!” he thought to himself, looking all over the place as the scouter’s indication pointed. It took another couple seconds until it detected a feeble power level of five, that was what Karota used to suppress her power as, and, being a master of Ki Control, he knew that there was no way Atsuko could suppress it more than Karota could, especially now that she was on her super saiyan two form and was also much stronger than his master.
Upon finding Atsuko, a sense of satisfaction filled his heart and a shiver ran down his spine again; it was about time to settle this battle and, while she would still possibly believe he hadn’t detected her, Nasu’s smile widened until it became a cheeky smirk. The saiyan locked her at his scouter, so that it would follow that particular energy signature even if it raised and was suppressed again. ”Now, now… You may have used earthlings dirty tactics to hide, but I’ve used a saiyan method to find you and… Hahaha! Like always, the saiyan’s way is better!” he thought to himself, proud of his accomplishment.
Then, without wasting any more time, Nasu once again put his right palm facing upwards, placing his left hand around the adjacent arm for support. Quickly, he charged a yellow-orange, basketball sized energy sphere, it was the Spirit Ball again. ”Now…” he mused, as he stared at his scouter, pinpointing her location. It was a shame Nasu had wasted so much time searching for her; it allowed her to fully recover her physical condition, but it didn’t matter in the slightest, because he was now ready to attack her with his ultimate technique. ”Thank you for this technique, Karota! This victory will be yours too!” he thought to himself, as he finished charging his power and, in a quick motion, Nasu fired it.
– It’s the end, Kimiko!! Spirit Ball! – he roared as the Spirit Ball soared through the air, but, oddly enough, it wasn’t heading her way; The Spirit Ball was aimed at the ground at an impressive speed. Nasu’s goal was to piece the ground with the Spirit Ball and make it dig its way towards, emerging from the ground beneath her and hitting her hard on her chin. If his strategy was successful, this would most likely put her down. Nasu would use just enough energy to knock her out, and he had no intention of killing her and, since the damage output of the Spirit Ball was fully controllable, he could do that with ease.
The battle was reaching its end, and the victor would be emerging really soon.
Nasu used the scouter to pinpoint Atsuko’s location and lock her as a target. Nasu fires [ULTIMATE] Spirit Ball at the ground and then at Atsuko, due to Controllable nature, for PL 12,699,088! If hits, will only use enough to knock her out of consciousness, which is possible because of the split damage trait.
With Karota denying his assistance, Hotato had been paying attention to the fight above him. After some talking between the present people, Miso turns his head to his nephew and ask about Koko's whereabouts. The teenager half-breed look to his uncle with a disapointed expression and then look down - 'I thought maybe you would now uncle...there it goes my hopes' - the boy sighes before looking back at the big saiyan.
- Well...last time I saw her was nine years ago. After returning from conquering a planet, she send me an invitation to train under her tutelage - before Miso could ask why the invite, the boy tells him - I was kept as a secret from the Empire, so the Queen couldn't use me in suicide missions like she used mom. I was known as an orphan from planet Natto that brought back Koko. Then I was put in the Vegetean Academy and trained there for 3 years before mom invite me - he pauses looking at Karota and Negi before turning back to Miso - Then we lived together for almost an year. Most of the time we trained, but every time we could, my parents would play or make dinner together. I think she was getting tired of the Empire ways, just as Natto did - now he focused on Nasu - But then, Natto came to Vegeta and freed the kagami, who in turn kiled him, and last time I saw mom was when she was fighting the kagami half-scum that killed uncle Natto and his partner. She went super saiyan 2 and started to fight the killer, but was already pretty beaten up and we were forced to retreat - crossing his arms - Then my father knocked me out and put me on a emergency spacepod to avoid me from join the fight - clenching his hands - next time I woke up, I was on a planet filled with sandstorms and mostly desert, save by some canyons with oasis on them. Not single clue of their whereabouts and most probably they also didn't know where I was, or... - closing his eyes and sighting again - To tell you the truth uncle, I hoped they were on Natto.
As his cousins fought above him, Hotato remembered the last day he saw his parents. His heart sped up, fists clenched even tighter, and thoughts of his life with his parents and how it could have been, popped in his mind like fireworks. To know now he could have lost them for good, was another sucker punch for him, and again he wanted to blast it out. Only now he had found part of his family. Miso and Komatsu seemed to have liked him, enough to have forgiven his misconduct. He only hoped Nasu would do the same, one day at least - 'Maybe if I have some time to prove myself again...If only I could become a super saiyan'
- I waited them for eight years, surviving on a place that I later discovered was populated by energy draining monsters, that I couldn't eat - with eyes open but looking up at the fight now, fire sparking in his eyes and hair when he perceive the tatic used by the kami - Shit! They're too fast to keep up - looking at his cousins fighting - Anyway, on the third year I was already adapted and back into training every day. But I just couldn't turn as strong as mom...I couldn't become a super saiyan...how can I do i- - interrupted when Atsuko released her power and covered the battlefield in dirt and debrits, and lowering her power to almost none - 'Clever, but I can still track you with my scouter' - the equipment still hold the kami's signature, showing now 5 PL, and kept a silhouette of both fighters on the screen - Does the Overseer have any means to...oh, nevermind - he would ask if Nasu had any means to discern his opponents location but before finish his question, the Overseer of the Saiyan Alliance pulled out his own scouter and finding his opponent, he started to power up his technique again, the Spirit Ball - Alright...huh? - and on the other side, Atsuko was also trying something -'Ok, here we go again: two super saiyans 2 clashing, but now I feel something different from both of them...wonder who will win' - And now Hotato tries his best to pay attention to the next moves of the two titans.
