Melonia stood a thousand feet in the air standing high on a massive spire of rock. It was peaceful out here, so far from the Soy Capital and the bustle of the city. She had needed a break, the Lan Dian compound, nice as it was, was simply driving her nuts. She was a soldier, a creature of battle and bloodshed. Sitting idle for so long with nothing to do but gravity training in that sterile chamber had driven her half mad with boredom after several weeks. Today was different, today she was back to her roots. She was primed and dressed for battle, her long hair done up in its signature thigh length ponytail, twin pink bracelets holding it rigidly in place. Melonia was dressed in her Battle Armor, the pearl white chest plate curving with the swell of her bust and covering her midsection in composite armor. Her matching gloves and boots already dirtied by mud and grime for her training. Melonia's violet under layer however looked pristine, as did the bright pink armored guards on her shoulders, midriff, and hips. All in all she was as much a vision of elegant beauty as she was a deadly Saiyan warrior.
The Saiyan beauty breathed in, warm summer's air flooding her nostrils. It stunk of sweat, stone, and sand. There were few other scents this far out from the city. Melonia missed the quiet tranquility, the feeling of isolation that came with being out in nature. Perhaps someday the planet of Natto would have more settlements, grand cities and collosal barracks to house hundreds of thousands of Saiyan warriors. Perhaps, but for now desolate badlands and vast forests still covered much of the planet. That suited Melonia just fine, it gave her more places to get away from it all. Her Ki senses detected little of interest, beyond the minuscule readings of some very powerful fauna down in the valley below. She'd likely hunt one of said creatures later and cook herself a fine dinner. The thought of fresh steaks and a roaring bonfire made her mouth salivate.
"I'm distracting myself from training..." The buxom Saiyaness mused to herself. "Time to get back to it. Every minute I waste is time I'll never get back." And so with a sigh Melonia hopped off the spire, letting her body fall without so much as bothering to slow her fall. She landed with an earth shattering crash into the ground, shaking the surroundings like a small earthquake that sent birds fleeing from trees in great flocks as their survival instincts kicked it. Melonia shook herself off, poised in a three point landing in her five foot deep crater. She rolled her head, cracking her neck and outstretching her arms over top her head in a great stretch. Popping sounds rang out and Melonia had goosebumps run down her spine at the refreshing feeling. "Oh yeah...that's the spot... Alright, time to get busy." Melonia spoke only to herself before hopping up out of her impact sight.
Landing delicately on the warm earthen ground Melonia wasted no time in beginning her one woman onslaught. Dashing forward she began to deliver a flurry of supersonic punches on the spire she'd stood on just minutes ago. One after another in wickedly punishing barrages. Rubble flew from the spire as rock was pulverized into ash and dust, cracking apart as greater chunks soon broke loose. After a minute of barrage Melonia stopped, only to whip sharply to the side and deliver a devastatingly swift kick to what remained of the spire. Hopping back she looked skyward to the towering structure of stone, watching it begin to buckle under its own weight. Not content to merely watch it crumble Melonia charged a Ki blast in her right hand, the golden orb of energy pulsating with raw power. She hurled it with deadly aim at what remained of the base of the spire, grinning with childish malevolence as the structure finally began to give way.
Gazing upwards Melonia heard the rocky spire give a mighty lurch, a thunderous noise echoed throughout the canyon. A deafening boom as thousands of tons of stone moved as one, the great pillow beginning to fall forward towards the curvaceous woman who didn't so much as move a muscle. As it fell to its side like the felling of a mighty tree Melonia flew away, but not to escape. Traveling to the middle of the structure Melonia held her arms up high above her head, palms flat and bracing herself for the initial impact. As the spire moved ever closer the shadow only grew, portions of the base slamming into the ground and smashing into thousands of pieces of debris as the Saiyaness readied herself for what was to come. Then in an instant her gloved hands felt the press of firm stone against them. Her stance was wide, and her feet sank into the earth as it cracked and shattered beneath her. Melonia exhaled deeply from her throat, feeling the incredible weight pressing down on her. The woman's stance locked up, and she braced as the weight of the pillar came to rest. Portions unable to support their own weight broke off on earth side of her, crashing the brief distance to rest on the ground.
Melonia huffed, closing her eyes and breathing heavily, focusing as she stood utterly motionless beneath what remained of the once proud spire. Holding it aloft in her hands like the Titan Atlas himself. "Focus..." She thought to herself, steadying her breathing. Focusing on maintaining her stance, preserving her form as the titanic weight hung overhead. Listening as the edges continued to fray and crumble, pebbles and rocks falling around her, a stray few hitting her arms and head. Melonia slowly lowered herself to a knee, still hoisting the great weight above her head. Her arms burned and her muscles felt like they were on fire. Sweat beaded from her forehead and dripped down to run the curve of her bust before dripping down to the jagged rocky crater forming at her feet.
When she was at least ready Melonia began focusing her Ki, letting it flare around her building like a wildfire of energy. She cried out in exertion, attempting to fly against the sheer weight held aloft in her hands. The pillar was lifted into the air foot by foot as the woman strained herself and pushed off hard from the ground. Then with a mighty heave Melonia strained with all her might, launching the object towards the canyon walls adjacent. It soared through the air briefly, moving like a freight train directly into a brick wall. As the pillar connected rock a mild shock wave bust forth from the impact, sending a cloud of dust flying over the immediate vicinity. A coy smile crossed Melonia's face and she lifted a finger to point at the destruction. "Galexia Gun." She called as the energy built from her fingertip, arcing through the air to detonate the remaining pillar as it continued plowing into the canyon wall.
The detonation of the energy attack sent the entire symphony of destruction into overdrive, and when the dust settled only a massive pile of rubble remained, along with a considerable impact wound along the canyon face. Melonia exhaled sharply, lifting the hand to wipe the sweat from her brow. "Alright... that's one down. Five more reps to go. Then I'll fly a few laps of the canyon, after that I'll head home and get some dinner. Then it's on to evening training."
