Chris had found himself growing rather lonely as of late. Frankly with no one to talk to except King Kai, who told horrible jokes, a giant cricket, who was extremely cocky, and a monkey, who frankly was most likely smarter than all of them combined somehow. It really got lonely now that Gouken wasn't here. Really this isolation was practically killing him. He just couldn't help but worry what was going on down there. Was his Master okay? Was his friends okay? All these question and there was no way for him to have an answer to. That was worried him so much.
He was lying on the smooth grass staring up into the pink sky. He still had a break at least before he would have to go back to training. He still wondered what more King Kai was going to teach him? Was it that technique that Gouken had used called the Kaioken? What all had King Kai even been hiding about before as well about Jarvis. Was there something he knew about Jarvis that he didn't want to tell Chris? If so what could it possibly be? Would he even figure it out before he went crazy in this place? These were all so many questions.
He just had no idea though how crazy this day was going to become. Frankly he could only hope to just keep on training and hope by some miracle that he would be able to identify something of which that wouldn't be the same beings he had been talking to for what felt like a month now. He leaned back into the grass with nothing but a sigh. What more was there even to do around here. At least that was how it felt with how quiet it was here. ANything really would be excited enough...anything.
"To bad! Mrs Tomo said King Kai can cheer you up so that's who were gonna see, we're already her so you might as well give up Mrs Rumi!"
A rather comedic scene was laid out on the Kai's small planet. Rumia's apprentice Crys could be seen dragging her master along by the collar of her shirt. Mar's guardian Tomo had, after another rather fun scene suggested she go to visit King Kai in order to be cheered up. Rumia herself refused, not believing she needed it to begin with. What was so wrong with mourning what was lost? She was still doing her job and still training Kagari and Crys during the day so why couldn't they leave her along?! Unfournatly her young apprentice had very much disagreed with this notion and was determined to get her to the kai's planet through every kind of trickery and push possible. Now she was just kind of trying... not to be dragged, and failing horribly! As such Rumia simply crossed her arms let what happens happen, even though she was not at all joyful about it!
"Oh Mr King Kaaaaai! You around here? We have a sourpus that needs reverting to her spunky self"!
Nope.... Rumia didn't want or need King Kai. She just wanted to be alone, couldn't anyone see that? Their was no way stale jokes were gonna help! People were gone and that was the obvious truth. Coudnt fix it or anything, not even King chuckles could. It was as simple as that.
Tomo definitely needed the break from her own training, and so she had made her way back to the Sacred planet of the Kai's. There she found a rather sour looking kai whom, in the saiyaness opinion, needed some cheering up. It seemed she had been mourning the death of a fellow kai, the kai of her own quadrant it seemed, and Tomo only knew one person with enough funny in his bones to cheer her up. King Kai of course! His jokes were so lame, they cracked the saiyaness up every time! Any time she thought of visiting the Kai, she always had to make a list of jokes ahead of time to try and match the Kai's humor!
Finally, Rumia's apprentice had managed to drag her all the way down to King Kai's planet, and Tomo wasn't far behind them. She would land on the planet with a grin on her face as her apprentice called out for the Kai.
"Knock knooooock!" Tomo called out after Crys, hoping to be answered soon.
"Supreme Kai, at least try to have some fun~ Even if his jokes are bad i'm sure we can have some fun here and bring your mood back up! You've been sad way too long! Ever since we met, actually~" The saiyaness would say as she pat Rumia on the head as if she was a child to be comforted.
Chris frankly wondered what more he could even do here while he awaited to continue further with his training. It was just another boring day as usual. However maybe it wasn't meant to be boring after all because rather shortly after he could only watch stunned as two figures appeared before him. One of them looked sort of similar to king kai...except female..and a lot younger looking! He really looked at them with the edge of wonder as he couldn't help it. Frankly this was the first living contact besides King Kai, the cricket and the monkey. He was not going to screw this up.
Though it seemed that the two were arguing over something and he really couldn't help but wonder. "I'm sorry to interrupt but...who are you three? I'm afraid King Kai isn't here at the moment. Something about an argument with an old student?" Chris would inform as he looked at the saiyan with intrigued eyes. Something about her seemed very familiar. He just couldn't place it down though of why it was so familiar. HAd he seen her before? No..than he would've known her name. He could find that out later. He had to introduce himself after all. That was what his master back on Earth taught him.
"My name is Chris or by what my father used to call me, Ruttsu. Apprentice to Master Atsuko and apprentice of King Kai's." Chris would say with a respectful bow of which he had been told to do by his mentor. Still though there was that eerie feeling that he knew of the saiyan here while the other two were still just as mysterious. His guard however still kept up just in case somehow creatures of hell managed to reach King Kai's some way.
Rumia frowned as she was patted by the sayianess. She and Crys were the reason she was dragged down here to begin with! She was noramply happy go luck, that's what everyone (aside from Tomo) was used to seeing. She just couldn't help it right now. She had yet to find North's spirit, so she still had no proof he wasn't completely gone. This fact of course drug up the memories of her other two losses and all together well... it was enough to bring even the happiest being doand from their pedestal. Besides Tomo wasn't her guardian, So couldn't she just drag Mar here or something? She just needed time was all. Soon as she found North it would all go away... hopefully. She appreciated them thinking if her but it just wasn't needed. She knew old King Kai no way were his stale jokes going break the veil over her... specially since he wasn't even here! A rather sarcastic nod was her answer, not of any mean intent of course.
"I'll try Tomo... I'll try"
Though Rumia was a bit interested in the Chris individual that seemed to take King Kai's place She just wasn't in the mood for chatting right now. Anyone who knew Rumia knew THAT was a surprised, something that only really happened recently, it was the main reason She was dragged here!
Unlike her master Crys was a bundle of energy. She darted about Chris, looking him, even smelling him! Normally just the monkey and mantis were here after all-this was new!
"Don't mind Mrs west over there, she's just been down lately is all! She's normally supppeerrrr happy! We brought her here cause we were hoping King Kai could fix that! Do ya know if he'll be back soon?"
The thing about Crys' words wasn't that they were unusual or anything. Simply that during the whole whole of her talking she never left the spot she was in when she smelled looked Chris over, in other words? She was majority invading his personal space! Not that she noticed, she was just overly kind in her greetings to say the least. Rumia did give a simple wave to the sayian though, just didn't look At him directly.
Didn't have much stock in the success of this 'mission' of theirs after all.
"You'd better try! Supreme... er... Mar asked me to bring you here, so if you don't come back as your 'usual self' he's going to cut my lunches in half!" Tomo would say with a light huff to her tone. The last thing she needed was less food, especially when she was trying so hard to regain all of the strength she had lost. It wasn't going to be an easy road to build herself back up to Super Saiyan 3... That, and it wasn't easy constantly masking her power so that the other Kai's didn't catch on to what had happened to her power.
That was when a boy, no older than Komatsu, would walk up to them and tell them that King Kai wasn't here. Tomo would bring a hand up to her face and sigh. Great, how were they going to cheer up Rumia now? Her cheeks started to go red as she thought of the only viable solution at the time... but, then the boy introduced himself and that caught her attention, along with his looks.
"Ruttsu hunh. You know I think a lot more people would know you if you just stuck with that name kiddo. Tell me something, I knew a kid named Ruttsu once, though I only met him a few times as a baby. Was your father an Earthling Saiyan by the name of Toru?" She would ask curiously, stepping away from West and walking closer to Chris with a curious expression on her face. Of course, it was a shot in the dark to ask that... there were no doubt thousands of dead saiyans with that same name... but this Chris just looked so much like Toru it was hard for her not to ask. If he wasn't who she thought he was, then no harm done right?

Chris would lie about the strangers here on King Kai's planet. They were indeed quite weird compared to some of the others he had met before but he could suppose no biggy really. It was nice for once having different kind of company in such a variety around. Much better than just waiting her alone. Hey maybe this would be a bit fun after all. It's not like it could turn any worse after all. What could hurt in just having a great talk with others in heaven. It's not like that snake lady who was shooting fireballs at him. Now that had been just cruel rather.
That was when the supreme Kai's assistant began to take in every notice with him. She was even smelling him of all things! He couldn't help but laugh as he reminisced of Gouken's dog. That had been such a fun time back then. He couldn't help but be reminded of it now. "Yeah I can see she's got sort of a frown to her face. I'm sorry though, King Kai said he wouldn't be back anytime soon due to someone named Son Wukong I think it was? I don't really know, he seemed in a sort of a rush and I couldn't fully understand him. I could tell one of my jokes that made King Kai laugh though? How many Saiyans does it take to screw in a light bulb? One, it just is going to take a lot of screaming and a lot of time." Chris would tell on his attempt to make Rumia laugh.
However what the one to say next Tomo began to say he couldn't believe what he was hearing. This lady had known him when he was a baby? Who was she? What more did she know. "Yeah Toru is my dad, didn't really get to know him much...I was raised on earth by farmers..I didn't even know what a Saiyan was at first. It sucks that the one time we finally met we had to fight and than right after that we had to fight the demon God like thing. So close to killing it as well. I did the only thing I thought was right and bought as much time as possible even though I had no energy left to spare. I think that's why I got sent here to train."
Ah yes, when Mar wanted he could be pretty persuasive in his training resume. Taking away a saiyan's food was just a perfect way to get her to do what he needed, with all the more haste in the world. Of course their was also the far more likely option of him just joking around, as they often did. Ether way she could appreciate what Tomo was trying to do, regardless of the fact she didn't really want her or Crys to be doing it to begin with. Still she supposed if King Kai wasn't here their wasn't a strong chance of them staying long. Crys and Tomo would probably seen that soon enough, then she'd be poof back to her little planet. She could let her emotions run and..... oh.
She forgot about his apprentice
And well... their was a reason he was king kai's apprentice, and it wasn't just because he was a good student. He was a funny young saiyan, his joke able to bring a momentary grin to the kai's face, a light chuckle following it. Though she would quickly try to hide it a moment later, couldn't let those two win, besides she wasn't happy-he just got lucky!
Rumia pushed herself to a standing position, Now watching as the two saiyans conversed, with Crys sitting with her legs crossed between them, the child's gaze shifting between each saiyan as they spoke. Rumia found herself a bit curious. Now what had this one done to earn training with King Kai? After all... its not as if they brought someone up for training everyday!
"You.... would you mind if I saw how you died?"
The girls words would likely interrupt whatever conversation the two were having, for that she was sorry but she just... couldn't really help it. The cycle of death was a tricky things at time, however only the deserving ever got training from the kai's
The question was.... why was he?

"Hah I thought so! Your hair is so like his was...and your face... It's got that same...hmmm... I dunno but your dad had a similar look when he was a kid too! It annoyed the crap out of me back then, hahaha. Wow! It's been so long and you're this big now! You must be one heck of a fighter to be sent here to King Kai's too! I'm sure Toru must be really proud!" tomo would exclaim rather excitedly at the newest found member of her family. Sure he was dead and that sucked, but at the same time, she couldn't believe she just happened to run into Toru's kid after all these years! She just wanted to run up and hug him, but instead settled for ruffling the young boy's hair.
That was when she heard the faint giggle from the Supreme Kai and Tomo smirked and chuckled herself.
"There see! We all just need to come up with jokes now! How about this one.... uuuuhm...Why did the picture go to jail? because it was framed!" Tomo would attempt, unable to hide the snicker that crept onto her face at her own horrible joke.
"Guess I got a little excited there. My name is Tomoroko and i'm your dad's half sister, so I guess that makes me your aunt! Jeeze... You would be around Komatsu's age by now I think..." She would say as she raised up her hands as if counting the years that had gone by to guess how old Chris was, but stopped when he brought up the subject of his death.
"You took part in that battle hunh..." Tomo would say lowly, just as Rumia stepped forward, asking if she could see how he had died. Was that really a good idea for someone they were trying to cheer up?? WC: 309 TWC: 850
Chris still remembered every moment of his death when it had happened. It had been so painful. He remembered the feeling of the spear coming through his chest only to cancel any joy Caesar would have gotten from it. Still the memory was a little painful. Now though he had someone here asking if they could see it. Yet he found himself at peace with letting them read it. He didn't see any harm in it and if they were interested they deserved the right to know. It was painful to say the full story out loud, but at least by showing someone the memory he could at minimal let them understand.
"Mrs, if you want to read my mind I give you full permission. I would just tell the story, but I wont lie that it was a painful experience..emotionally.." Chris would say beginning to fall silent. He really was fine, it just brought back memories of the time that occurred back than. It felt hard to believe how long ago that had felt to have been. He came to accept what had happened but he supposed his super saiyan state might make it a little easier to control his emotions. At least for the time being.
Chris could only beg to differ as he began to hear the monster's words. How what would come to him but in truth he bought none of it. He had told his father before that he was fighting to the very end. This threat had to be stopped one way or another. He supposed there was one last trick to try if this didn't work to at least but some time. Shouldn't be too hard as long as he could manage to find some timing. He had to buy just a bit of time to give his father the chance to do such things. It felt strange though he just couldn't deny that.
"You can say what you want monster but I know your types. You try to engross yourself in a perfect world but even you know you can't hide your fears forever. That's why you hide them out of sight and out of mind. However that still isn't going to stop me and I have plenty of worse threats. Your right though of one thing, while that wasn't mocking this is for sure." Chris would say with a clear smile on his face. He began to speak in a horrible imitation of Caeser's voice. All cracking and old like.
"Oh look at me! Look at how I'm a total God and totally invincible but yet I can't even give comebacks to beat a fifteen year old. Oh poor me everything isn't going my way so I will complain. Nag naggity nag." Chris would mock as he looked right at Jarvis's red eyes in such a mocking tone with no respect for him at all. Frankly why should he hold any respect for the man that had literally only just killed recently his best friend. There was no way he was going to give this god any respect.
"Your right though that I dare scheme against you. I'm not going hold back against you because of what you have done and what you threaten to do. I won't let you hurt my friends anymore....and I won't let you harm anyone on Earth! You can call me a coward or whatever you want but I don't care because your words they don't hurt, maybe I am a coward and that nearly got my friends killed before but there's a difference here and that is I have friends who trust in me to the very end! And that is something you will never feel! I will end you! I will avenge all the innocent lives you have taken!" Chris would yell as he felt their blast begin to collide, his obviously winning even at his attempt to block it.
He watched as his opponent's body was charred but still alive...grr and that had taken all of his energy. That was when he noticed his father launch an attack as well against the monster! That didn't do as much but it had weakened him! Now it was for the finally. Bern had rushed towards the monster and began tearing his gauntlets into the beast throat quite gorily. It had worked. At least that was what it had seemed like at first when the attacks first began to seem finished. They had done it. It was over..
Than he spotted Jarvis move something into his mouth...a white seed...a SENZU! No was it possible this monster had saiyan blood? He had to warn his father before the monster could get up...this monster was going to come for him more than likely...and he knew that he wouldn't be able to defend against it long in a long shot. He could at least buy them some time for any help to come. He looked up to his father and wiped a single tear from one of his eyes. "Father...we will meet again one day but right now I need you to run back to Atsuko and Nasu and tell them we need help now. I promise we will find each other again but if you don't do this than more are just going to die. Please run and find Atsuko or Nasu for the Earth...this is my one request of you from all these years apart. I want you to get help for others here. I just want you to trust me that everything will be all right..heh guess I will be seeing mom soon after all...and maybe Gouken as well.." Chris would say as he felt another tear drop to the ground. He turned towards Bern. "Bern...take care of Atsuko...when the monster here gets up don't use any energy or anything to try and deflect any or defend against attacks he sends at me..save your energy so you can last as long as you can before help arrives." Chris would say towards Bern with a slight smile...it was weird how he just couldn't shake this ease of death.
"Hey Monster buddy I see you back up now...I still don't care though..heh...in fact I'm not going to just give up either. In fact I'm not gonna even let you see me in pain.." Chris would say as he began to laugh at Jarvis as he inwardly felt the injuries of his previous fight still. Jarvis no doubt could easily kill him and he was actually looking forward to it. He accepted death was coming his way but he wasn't going to go down without a fight... He charged right towards Jarvis continuing to laugh as he attempted to uppercut his fist right into his face. This was the choice he made because he still was going to put a fight to help his friends however long he could.. "Dad just remember I will be alright just please get help. I promise you that I will find you again and I don't ever break my promises..if you find Ayami....tell her I'm sorry." Chris would say with just another laugh.
"MY...TYPES?" He'd say as he'd feel his new body refreshed and regrown back to its splendor. An having little patient for this... insect. This game, Well it wasn't a game now. It was a punishment to a wet pup that needed a lesson beaten into it. Its whimpers and bloody cries would be used to break this one and its pack. "THERE ARE NO TYPES, MEN, OR CREATURES LIKE ME... THERE'S ONLY ME." His eyes weren't looking at Chris though as they had snapped to this Toru. This little warrior who was the father. Caesar had great hearing and all the tortured past in the worst gutters to know how to read things. Situations and peoples feelings in those little tell tell signs we all had. He'd hold his hand up open palmed pointing at Chris. His eyes looking directly into Toru's Ready to use this ammunition. They had struck him and tried to take his life. So he'd make sure his wound did more then try to kill their bodies... he wanted to wound their souls and hearts. "SO... HE'S YOUR SON. PERHAPS YOU SHOULD HAVE TAUGHT HIM BETTER. HIS IDEA OF HEROICS ARE NOTHING MORE THEN THE DELUDED ILLUSIONS PAINTED OVER HIS IDIOCY. HE WON'T FIND YOU AGAIN... TIME TO DIE." He wasn't playing for this one. It didn't have the theatrics that may have saved the boys life if he had. The pain he'd just endured left only the hate in his heart that crippled and oozed black hatred within in it pumping through ever vein in his body. He hardly even flinched allowing hte light pain to wriggle up his jaw in vibration as he allowed Chris his final blow and the powerful upper cut while not moving Caesar did cause his head to tilt lightly. He'd give him this hit... Just this one. Just as he allowed the other warrior to lay his blow upon the mighty flesh of the Caesar. Just to know how no matter what happened next. They were nothing...
It would start from a area not far behind Chris. Crimson eyes flickering to Bernael and Toru. Their punishment would be partly in their failure to aid if he did this right. Chris's pain in and punishment in blood. "BERNAEL... STOP REFERRING TO ME AS THAT... JARVIS IS DEAD. I AM THE CAESAR AND KING OF THE CERULEAN EMPIRE. AN THIS IS THE PUNISHMENT I WARNED YOU ABOUT IF YOU REFUSED ME COUPLED WITH THE FACT YOU DARED STRIKE ME TOO. THE ONE WHO GAVE ME SUPPORT IS MY JUDAS. AN NOW YOU AS PUNISHMENT I'LL GIVE YOU PROPER PUNISHMENT. SINCE PHYSICAL PAIN DOESN'T SEEM TO SCARE THE WORST OF YOU." But he knew they wanted to protect the others that stood with them. The young and brave that 'thought' themselves on the side of heroes. Caesar let Bernael prepare his attack it made no difference to him but he did comment when he saw that glowing crimson blade clutched tightly in between the demon boy's hands. "AGAIN? SO UNFAIR?" He'd say giving a curved grin while still standing bellow on the ruined earth bellow them. Charred and broken from the battle remnants and bits of the dead warrior from before spread around for several miles from the long rained down debris bellow. "LET ME GET MY WEAPON FIRST, SURELY ITS ONLY FAIR?" His eyes averting to Toru for just a sec then to the golden focused point of Caesars Ki behind Chris. The tip of a blade appearing coming through the strange golden energy point. Caesar carefully projecting his energy as his hand was held up focusing with it. But perhaps giving the false pretense any moment a blast would fly from it. Some of his body even regenerated still coated with some of his own and Goukens dried blood. Even if wounds had now healed and recovered. Chances are given the distance however between Chris and the blue warrior if this worked. It was highly likely by the time the spear reached Caesar's hand it would possibly simply hold the skewered warrior upon it blade and pole rather then have went fully through. Perhaps even more then that.
When it happened what he intended fully was thus,
The spear shot out of the focal point like a golden glimmer weapon of death. The air ringing around it as if even the elements around it as it cut through the wind and air were singing the song of death to whisk Chris away. The spear soaring with solidified Ki making its existence. Allowing it to hold physical form and power for a short time. The creation would dissipate in a few hours and be nothing but for now it was as real and razor edged as any other spear. While also moving with all the deadly energy Caesar and put behind it. He'd try and give Toru enough time to react. Maybe if he was lucky he could see the punishment this one had earned. They were just saiyan rebels now in his eyes. Weak little fools that opposed the inevitable. An those that tried to halt progress often ended up just crushed and paved over in its path.
The spear would cut through air aiming to once it reached Chris try and thrust through his chest if it landed. Almost instantly in a thick force and push. If it landed try to cut and break fully and literally through the chest cavity while also through the heart of the warrior before it. As if like a golden bullet from the heavens try to rush through the foolish heart of the hero now damned by his own actions and the right of the emperor. Before continuing on its path once it was painted in the crimson life blood of the folly hero to keep roaring towards the ground at a downward angle.
Once within reach if it had accomplished this task Caesar would wield the blood stained golden spear in his hand and stab one end of it into the ground. Possibly with a few trophies still skewered higher up on the rather long pole. The spear in length stood about the size of Caesar and a half. Making it possible nearly twenty eighteen or nineteen feet possibly in length. Standing strong as he'd stare down this Bernael that still stood so defiantly before him. The only man he ever loved that spit on his offer and might as well have spit on his heart the Caesar felt. He had chosen them over Caesar. He had chosen them over his rightful King. If anyone was to blame for all of this as his thoughts raced. It was Bernael... It was just as he feared so long ago. He had no one... He had only earned the love of one women and the demonic friend from Makaii that had shown him the true ways of victory. He really was always alone before them. His mind and heart hardening as he realized there wasn't going to be anyway he could let Bernael leave now. The others wounded his body... Bernael had wounded his heart. He wouldn't say anything openly of this pain. Merely watch the charge and contemplate what was to happen next. Whatever the reason, Whatever the path in the past behind them now. It wasn't one he could find now to bring Bernael back and allow him to see the light he was blinded too. This must... This must have simply been. One of the truest trials a god had to face on its true path to ascendance. A test perhaps... If anything. Even with the hatred... One of the three he had in his heart would always be the hardest kill as his he did his best to freeze his love and emotion. Become what he needed to be... He couldn't think like a man. But he had to act as a god.
As he had begun charging towards the monster he heard what others had begun to say. Bern asking who they were. Asking why he said for him to take care of Master Atsuko...why to tell Ayami he was sorry. "Bern it's because I'm one of Atsuko's students..shame we never got to finish our training. Though my knight title is hope Bern, I'm one of the Knights that serve under Atsuko...that is why I want you to tell them my good bye for now...heh..." Chris would say with the slightest of smirks.
As his fist had landed upon Jarvis Chris still held upon his smile knowing that today was indeed his death day.. He had told his father that he was ready to fight to the very end. That was just what he was doing now. He had been scared at first but now he was fully accepting of what was to come. There were no lies to it, just truths that wee yet to be revealed. He had lived as good a life as he possibly could and now he was going to make sure the ending he was going to have was not going to be one where the villain would win this war...
That was when he began to feel a blade jam through his back and it was so painful..however he was continuing to laugh..he was putting his full will power into not letting the monster have any joy from this. He felt it pierce his heart as if began to come out the other end of his body. Right from the front he watched as his heart erupted out on the blade and like he said he was going to make sure this monster still didn't get a trophy or the joy.
He formed the very last of his energy into a small ki blast right at the tip of the spear as it began to fly towards Jarvis. The spear would be perfectly fine but the heart that had once been on it now was vaporized from the last bit of energy from his ki blast. He had vaporized his own heart before it had reached Jarvis. "I told you...I'm not letting you have any joy in this.. Heh...heh..." Chris would say with the last laugh as he collapse right into the ground. His ki completely gone as his form returned to base form..
Meanwhile he only could feel darkness surrounding him. So this had been what death felt like...the pain was all gone...he couldn't even feel his body...he couldn't see...he couldn't hear anything either but yet he still was happy that he still had gotten the last laugh. He supposed that now he might get to see Gouken again...apologize for not having arrived sooner. They had almost killed the monster but someone had been holding back just enough for him to get back up...he supposed...this really was it now...wasn't it..Im Sorry Ayami..
His eyes changed to a bright teal color as his hair slowly spiked up slightly. Within a instant due to the amount of practice he had gotten with this form it was a rather quick change into the full powered super saiyan form. However almost immediately upon doing so his aunt made a horrible joke. He actually even began to laugh a little at it because of how bad it was. He didn't know how others would take to the bad joke as well but he just couldn't help but laugh.
"Actually Aunt Tomo I haven't gotten to meet with Komatsu much, only met them twice. Once when my sister was back on the lookout before she went missing. The other time was kinda when I guess my cousin was attacking earth. Even than I didn't get to meet much with them. A friend of mine on the opposite side told me to give up on my friends...and well..after nearly getting a broken hand from punching a super saiyan in the face before I had even thought I could attain the form myself. I snapped and when I came back to consciousness I was fighting Dad and Negi, and was winning. I don't know exactly why King Kai chose me. However I will say I am a bit of an outcast to the other saiyans...Everyone I know sees a passion in fighting. I just don't see that. I like to train, but I never see a passion in fighting. In fact I only truly fight when someone I knew was in serious trouble. I guess that just makes me a sort of an outcast, it sure felt like it on Natto when I visited. Everyone there treated me lower than anyone else as soon as my secret about my dislike for fighting got out through the arena."
Heh, gee saiyans seemed to have quite the nack for joke telling, was no wonder they were the majority that was sent to old king kai when they died. This would be three... maybe four now? Eh she couldn't exactly remember, the gap between each was considerable after all. The smal smile that continued to grace her face seemed evidence enough though. She supposed.... It couldn't hurt to smile just a little. North... Dawn... her master... supposed they didn't want her to frown forever. She still felt the hurt but... she could smile, they deserved that.
Turning to face Tomo for a minute her face seemed... slightly worried about her seeing the events, they WERE trying to make her happy after all. Despite herself Rumia could not help but let out a full chuckle. Barely even knew her and she was worried about her well being. Oh well she supposed she could relate.
"Tomo, it's ok, it's hard to put into words but... I need to see this, it won't break me, that's the truth"
Finishing with a light grin on her face Rumia would then turn back to face Chris, holding a single hand out to face him. Gathering energy into this hand she would use it to connect the two's minds. She would begin to see the saiyan hero's last moments on earth. They were spent facing a common foe, a person Rumia-a Kai hated with every fiber in her bone. Someone she had every intention of giving a VERY bad time if they crossed paths again. Aside from her negative emotions towards Jarvis her attention was mostly drawn towards the saiyan Chris. The sight she bore witness to was something of a dream. Chris died sure, but he did so in a way that both gave his allies a chance and denied Jarvis an outlet for his pleasures (a fact that brought a considerable smile to her face) Chris destroyed his own heart to deny Jarvis his victory. She could see now, he deserved all that King Kai offered him. His memories showed what was apparent by his status. He was a hero, through and through, just like those in his family before him.
Replacing her hands at her side, and a constant smile now gracing her face (a fact that had Crystal jumping for joy behind the two saiyans) Rumia proceeded to address Chris directly.
"I don't know the opinion of King Kai here, but myself and the Eastern Kaioshin are none to fond of your last opponent ether, He took something from us... something I have yet to find again, I could not have chosen a better way get to him than what you did, deny his very victory... great Caesar indeed eh?"
Laughing briefly she would then turn to face both Crys and Tomo, a warm smile.replacing the chuckle if a few seconds ago.
"I am.... I'm sorry for being such a sourpus you to, I've lost quite a few things that were dear to me but.... you helped me realize they wouldn't want me to cry, funny what a few jokes can show really huh? I guess what I'm saying is... thanks for being nucences!"
A wink and final laugh, along with a happy bear hug from Crys would make the joke clear. Their was only one person who would bear the negative brunt of her emotion one day. She was certain his ambition would guarantee it. For everyone else though? For them a smile was all they deserved.

Tomo would give the Supreme Kai a nod though her look was still one of worry, regardless of her new found smile. She was glad to see it, but she wasn't quite sure it was because she was getting over what had happened or not... They were trying to make her feel better and instead ran into someone with a rather tragic story to tell, even if it wasn't verbally.
She couldn't see what had happened to Chris, nor did she truly want too... she was already having such a hard time accepting her death (again) that she didn't want to chance seeing her children, even through Chris. It was hurting her to be away from them now when it seemed now was when they needed her the most. She was starting to desperately want to get back to life somehow... So she waited for Rumia to see what she wanted from Chris, while remaining silent until Chris finally spoke to her.
"I think you'll like Koma~ He act's like a tough guy because he's always been trying to impress his brother, but I think you two will find a lot more in common." Tomo admitted to him with a faint smile. Even that wavered however as Chris mentioned Nasu attacking Earth... he even went on to say that he was told to abandon his friends and even fought against his own father.
"Man... our family is really screwed up isn't it... I don't know who the hell told you to abandon your friends... that's stupid and one of the foundations that the Alliance is built on... it was Miso wasn't it..?" She would immediately accuse her brother in law, as it sounded exactly like something he would say to win a battle. Even though deep down, she knew he wouldn't... the Alliance was built on the foundation of friendships and kinships... At least, it had been when she was alive... had they really changed all that much? had her father ruined what they worked so hard to build? It was no wonder Nasu was having such a hard time with the Alliance if that were the case...
"You aren't an outcast kiddo, your father hates fighting too. The only reason he fought with us at all was because he knew he had to protect his family. He'd usually train alone because he wanted to avoid even sparring with anyone. The only reason he kept growing stronger was to protect the one's he cared about. Then you get people like me. I absolutely love to fight. So much so that I opened the very arena you're talking about. Fighting's a sport, and a sport that saiyans desperately need. Just because I love to fight though, doesn't mean I love war. I hate it, I'd rather avoid fighting for those reasons at all costs. I don't like taking lives and avoided it whenever I could. Most saiyans are like that... You do get extremists, but those were usually the Empire Saiyans, and were primarily the reason we branched away from them in the first place...
Anyways, what I'm tyring to get at, is that the Alliance could of really benefit from having someone like you around. You'd provide a whole new perspective to things, a more peaceful approach than either of my son's could see." She would explain with that same gentle smile playing her lips. Chris really was a lot like Toru had been in his younger days... it was refreshing to see, and also terrifying... her little brother had been through so much crap in his life, she could only hope that Chris didn't continue to follow to closely in his footsteps.
She would then turn back to Rumia as she spoke once more, praising Chris on how he handled the situation with Caesar. She was slightly curious, but bit he tongue as she refused to let that curiosity guide her. Then, Rumia turned to face herself and Crys, smiling.
"Being dead and still having family in the living world, I can tell you that's exactly what they wouldn't want. They'd want you to keep smiling and stay who you've always been." She said, rubbing the back of her neck as she couldn't help but laugh when Rumia did. She really had been a pain in the ass to the Supreme Kai since Mar asked her to cheer her up... but heck, it worked didn't it?
"I'm glad you're smiling again. If you need any more jokes, I've got plenty! I've been up here for nearly a decade, I've learned a few from around the galaxy!" Tomo would say with another chuckle as her grin widened.
Chris smiled a bit at seeing the once very depressed kaioshin now seemingly smiling once more. It was things like this that warmed his heart when something he was able to do truly was able to make a difference. Still he as he listened to his Aunt as well he couldn't help but feel differing opinions from between the two. She seemed to truly favor the Alliance had a chance of redemption but Chris still saw it for how he had seen in person. On his visit there and even during the fight. Even reaching to his last conversation with Nasu made his irritation slightly reach above its normal limits.
"I'm afraid it wasn't this Miso, didn't even fight them ever. Though I had sure felt their ki running when my friend Gouken had to face the monster known as the Caeser. The one who told me to give up on my friends was a soldier trained and taught by your own son, Nasu. His name was Negi. The things he did during that fight I can't say I can forgive easily. However if you want my true opinion. The current alliance, is no different than what my Master taught me about the Saiyan empire. I might like Koma indeed, but I will not lie, when I do come back to life. The Alliance wont be considered one of my good friends. As Nasu most likely would put it. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. In this case, the Caeser is my enemy as much as the Alliances. You can even argue with me that it isn't true, but take a look at everything recently to happen to the earth. The damages it has suffered all because Nasu will not leave us alone. As much as I am for peace even, the only true way Earth and the Alliance most likely will ever reach peace is the moment Nasu realizes that he needs to leave it alone. Until than, even without psychic powers I can see the Earth and the Alliance will have more wars than I can count."
Chris would say with a very stern face unlike that of his usual calm self, the thought of the alliance obviously having touched a nerve in him. HE saw the Alliance as a false paradise. While it may look pretty on the outside he could see the truth on the inside. The corruption thanks to the saiyan named Houri had helped him realize. It rested inside the Alliance as well. If it could grasp hold so easily of Nasu who was to say it wouldn't affect anyone else? Who wasn't to say it might have already have?
"Mrs Kaioshin I appreciate you having came here as well as you Aunt Tomo. I think it might be best for you to leave now. I need to go take my stress out on the punching bags. I do hope to see you both again someday however." Chris would say before he would begin to walk off towards the inside of King Kai's house. His first meeting with another family member and he couldn't believe the stress he had felt from thinking of the alliance. He couldn't help it though. All he could think of was the message he had gotten before of his sister...where could she be?

Rumia chuckled in response to Tomo's words. She was right of course, Rumia had simply been to blinded by grief to see it herself. The three people she lost in the past woudn't want their memory to shatter her future. In fact both North and her mentor would give her a very stern talking to it she had continued to let it. She imagined with North it would be something along the lines of not letting her emotions get te better of her or something, and her mentor speaking on positive emotion being the better power source, they were both weird like that. She would miss them none the less, But from now on she wasn't going to let it shackle her down.
"Indeed, I don't plan on letting it drag me down anymore... that memory showed me what to do... and helped me remember who I am... a prankster!"
She was kidding of course, but she liked to joke anyway. She was quite content to be at piece with this. Well mostly anyway. Their was one piece that she desired to topple. She'd have to get stronger for the day his ambition brought him even to this place. Until then however she would stay here. She'd train little Crys and even help Tomo with her own if she so desired. She would Chris as well buuut he seemed pretty eager to end his cycle in the afterlife, go figure.
"Yes for sure! We''ll have to get together with King Kai when I can pry you away from Mar's and yours training"
The shorter Kair would slam her fist into her other palm, indicating she was just as serious about this future event as she was about actual physical training. Listening to Chris' words a stern look would cross the Kai's face. She wasn't an expert on the north galaxy of course, but she had been peeking into it every now and while North's spot remained vacent. Safely Chris was for te most part right however.... their was something different about the literal representation saiyan pride lately, namely since he was visited by Tomo. It wasn't a big difference persay but a notable one none the less.
"It is the sad fate of the mortal realm, to constantly be at each other's throats.. that one small planet is a testament to that fact. War is something that never changes, no matter how one side tries go justify their actions the result is always the same, their will be death... and another poor soul will be sent here to face Yenma's judgement, much like you did Chris. Until the impossible day when the universe no longer wants for power I'm afraid that even if Nasu were to stop.... their would only be another to take his place"
She would sigh as we finished her explanation and would simply nod as Chris went to vent his anger. He needed it, anyone would after what he'd been through. But he also proved her point, the cycle was an endless one-one even she was guilty of and one she doubted could ever be broken. Turning to face Tomo she glanced briefly at a still silent Chris, whom had no clear way to react to th saiyan hero's words and offer her a smile of encouragement before turning to Tomo.
"Well... I suppose we had best leave huh? You have your training to return to no? Can't flaunt that loss of power forever you know"
Rumia winked playfully at her words, enjoying herself for the first time In a while.
@tomo @chris (Attempting to leave topic as well, asking for PL)
"Miso running?" Tomoroko asked with the tilt of her head, bringing her hand up to her chin in thought as she tried to picture what had happened down below. It was very unlike her brother in law to run from a fight... even retreating was bitter sweet to him. Was this Caesar truly that horrifying? He must be if she was called to protect the Kai's themselves. 'What bad luck...' She would think as a sigh escaped her lips. She would return her attention to Chris as he spoke, her expression growing sad as she listened. He seemed to truly hate the Alliance as a whole because of the actions of a few... She couldn't truly blame him, had she and Natto not done the same when they left the Empire to form it in the first place? If the galaxy was truly seeing the Alliance as the Empire once was, then there was something seriously wrong... something she couldn't fix because she was already dead. No she could do nothing but sit up here and watch, hoping that the Alliance would be restored to what she and Natto originally wanted it to be.
"Not everything that comes from the Alliance is as bad as you believe it to be kiddo... I mean, I've done good enough while I was alive to warrant a position by a Supreme Kai's side, right? Instead of writing them off... help them. The Alliance hasn't been around for very long, and Nasu is... well you've seen how he is. He's not a lost cause though, he can be reasoned with... as can everyone in the Alliance. Just... don't give up on them so easily..." She would say sadly. She really didn't want her family, and that included all of those in the Alliance, to be seen as evil... they had worked so hard to move away from that. She didn't follow Chris though as he basically asked them to leave and walked away from them. She'd just watch him leave, another sigh escaping her lips as she turned to Rumia.
"Yeah... Let's get going..." Well, the trip was a success, they had made Rumia feel better and smile... but now Tomoroko was the one who felt like crap, stuck up here unable to do anything for her family.
