Rinako had been floating with the fox spirit throughout the plane of hell. Which despite the name actually wasn't that bad as long as one just followed the rules. It even had an amusement park! Sure there were the few bad apples every now and then, but the Oni quickly would take care of them. Heck she would go as far as to say that this place wasn't nearly as bad as she had been thinking it could have been. In fact it was quite fun even. Although she did wish she could have a body back. The worse scenario possible was that she went without one. Not like much changed either way. She would still be here.
Turning towards the fox spirit Rinako began to speak to the fox spirit. "So why, I want my first question to be answered now. Why did you attack all of my friends, why did you strive to accept such power from the voice. What was your reasoning behind it? " Rinako would ask but a simple first question as the dark purple fox shaped cloud let out a sigh. It supposed now would be the best time to explain anything it could. It really wasn't like they were going anywhere anytime soon. "Do you know what it's like to be trapped away, unable to do or manipulate anything in the real world? The moon..is something of a symbolization to kitsunes like the both of us. It brings out the truly primal side of us, the other spirit within you. Me. The moon does something to us that puts us in our most primal like stake. To our eyes in that form, everything is defined between two categories, prey or predator. Although it is like we have control, we truly just fall into our instincts. My instincts were telling me that if I did not accept such power than I would become prey and would die or worse fade back into you. " Vulpes would explain, and as Rinako would listen to such she couldn't help but wonder why were they sealed within her.
"Earlier..you mentioned having seen the okami of foxes before, how did you see her? Who are you? " Rinako would ask next with her question burning to have an answer from the fox. " All fox spirits like me are usually sealed within whoever our perfect host. I had to wait a long time, and thus I caused plenty of havoc..The reason I know the okami of foxes, is because I was her ninth child, now don't get me wrong, all fox spirits are her children, but I happened to be the ninth one, I was very angsty as one would put it, so when you were born, although you were my perfect host, your mother sealed me in you to keep me from breaking free. If I am ever severed from you..It would feel like we were both missing a half of us, it would continue until you would die..for good. " The fox spirit would say with a hefty sigh.
The sight of the rather short supreme kai could be seen in the distance, not to far from the fox spirit duo's location. She was running alongside one of the oni guards on duty here, specifically the one Rumia went to whenever she visited hell. Rumia required info on an event she sensed on earth, before she had sent Sora down to the blue planet. She had felt the energy of her favorite brother killing God Caesar exert itself down there. It had resulted in the dispersal of one energy and the near fading away of three others, She had also felt a familiar dark power at work in the midst of the fluctuating energies. She couldn't be sure because of the sheer distance but... she had a good feeling what it was. She was here for the energy that dispersed. Accordingly by to Yenma that particular spirit had been sent to hell so naturally Rumia came to the pit in order to get the information she wanted, As well as to meet this spirit. It wasn't everyday a Kitsune died after all! They were.... quite quite interesting as far as spirit forms went, the only one who's race you can identify immediately after death if you knew your stuff. A spiritual pair, the only problem was finding that spiritual par among all the other spirit balls in hell. It was also why she required assistance from this particular ogre, named Ona. The only catch was Ona was really fond of competition and well..... long story short he refused to give the kai the location of the kitsune unless she beat him in a race!
This is what led to the events Rinako and her darker half could likely see. A short, pink girl racing the rather bulky blue oni right past them. The thing was this one was also rather fond of playing jokes on his superiors and as such had placed the finish line... right past Rinako's current location. Rumia to her credit really did not want to lose to the oni ether, both because of the info and a rather apparent competitive streak on her own end. As such when they began to close in on the finish line Rumia would release her True Power bringing her latent potential to the surface and allowing her to push ahead of the rather irritated oni. As she did she would place her hands behind her head, smiling playfully to the oni as she passed the finish line just ahead of him.
"Transformations were not allowed Rumia!"
The annoyed oni would vent his annoyance at the kai, who simply placed a head to her side wagging her finger with a matter of fact look on her face.
"Now now Ona! You can't be mad just because you lost! Besides, releasing my full energy is so not the same same as suddenly donning full on armor plating and horn growth mister! Now a deals a deal, so spill the kitsune's location k?"
The ogre dubbed Ona would roll it's eyes and sigh but none the less point a few feet from their current location, right at the spirit ball duo. Rumia briefly gave her own annoyed look of 'really?' Before shaking her head and walking over to the duo's location. Standing in front of them she would give a rather joyful wave to both.
"Hellllllo! I'm Rumia, western supreme kai! I'll cut to the chase, cause who likes boring back story right? I felt two energies i'm honestly not very fond of at your point of death. Two rather.... chaotic elements in the universe. *Sigh* I need to ask a few questions, in exchange I'd be willing to help you two out a bit, Well.... assuming you posses the willpower for it anyway. Can't really FORCE the skill to regain one's form on their own after all... so what do you say?

[Raced an Oni to Rinako's location, briefly releasing her 'True Power' (650,370 PL) to win the race before returning to base form after. Greeted and spoke with Rinako directly after)

Rinako took the news as Vulpes explained just what could happen if they were ever forcibly separated from one another. It was strange to think how connected her actual life in both death and the world of the living were tied to the fox spirit. How vulnerable they truly could be. It was quite scary to say the least. Still..She couldn't excuse what Vulpes had done as easily..but at least they didn't lie, and actually gave her information. "Vulpes...I'm sorry your bound to me, but this sin't exactly fun for me either. It feels like every second longer the more active you are...the more like you I become. Like back with that fight against the god, something snapped in me and almost every fox like feature about me, even my eyes, became more primal like to yours. It was scary having that lack of such control. Yet it also made me feel stronger than I had ever felt before. It may take time...but I think if one day...we can learn to get along..maybe we can be more powerful than ever seen before." Rinako would say to the fox, only to get quite the opposite of a reaction that she expected.
"I doubt we will ever get along, we are too different, and in fact I'm not even sure if I like you. I will admit, that my interest had been peaked when you had displayed such power, it was rather marvelous to say the short of which. In fact you may be right that if we were to work together, the more powerful we would become. However, you will go through different trials, and if you prove yourself than maybe I will begin to trust you, but only maybe! So don't get your hopes up terribly high." Vulpes would say simply with but a bit of a growl, however this quick escapade was quickly interrupted by an Oni racing with a truly powerful being. As Vulpes and Rianko looked at the smaller figure in wonder, they actually grew a bit worried, as this powerful lady began to approach them. When someone with a high power began to approach someone it almost always ended badly. However it would seem fate would be on their side, as the figure would introduce themselves.
However as they began to speak of their name being that of Rumia, they also asked jokingly who liked hearing boring old back stories, Rinako even started putting a cloud shaped like a hand up before Vulpes spoke. "Put that hand down..before I bite it off." Vulpes would speak to a Rinako cloud who was quickly putting their cloud hand back down. "You really don't have to make a bargain heh, we would gladly just tell you if you wanted to know anything. Not everyone in hell is bad to the bone after all, well maybe Vulpes, but I just consider her grumpy." Rinako would say with a bit of a laugh as Vulpes thwacked the back of Rinako's cloud with a cloud like paw.
"Hehe your teeth might not be sharp enough for that in cloud form you know. Maybe I can tell you later Rinako, trust me it is a loooong story"
Rumia would chuckle playfully in response to the Fox spirits. For a pair of opposites they sure made a nice comedy together. It made her briefly question if their was a mistake in their being sent to hell. You know, before she remembered the whole Fox rampage thing Yenma told her about. Regardless Rumia would give a light chuckles when told not everyone in hell was bad. She supposed that was true, However their bad actions defiantly outweighed any good they had done. Their had been quite a few like that after all. Besides it was not Rumia's intent to bargain in the first place. No she simply wished to help in some way. After all Rinako and even her grumpy partner didn't seen entirely bad in the end. Rumia would give a light sigh in response before shaking her head and beginning her questioning, that was the main thing of import at the moment.
"Ok first off, I need to confirm the theory I'm not as confident in... I dedicated a dark power at work shortly before your death. If I'm right it's one I'm familiar with... one I failed to prevent from coming to be. Did a being intrude upon your mind, giving ether one of you promises of power? If so.... I would not accept it again. That power... It is not something you want apart of"
The kai would briefly await an answer to her question and statement. Afterwards Rumia would put a hand to her hip and chin in thought, deciding how to phrase her next question without seeming to bias. Rumia wa me a kai, as such she could not allow herself to seem emotional to everyone around her, especially in the more populated areas of Otherworld. However her feelings towards the wannabe god Caesar were more than just negative. She despised the man for everything he had done, as well as everything he was doing. He was going to cause major imbalance in the cosmos whether he knew it or not! And... he killed North, her brother... she couldn't forgive him for that. After a minute she was able to bring herself to a point of neutrality and speak her mind.
"Their is also... a man. A strong imbalance in the universe. I felt his precense there. Chances are his ki felt somewhat similar to my own... but twisted, more dark. Was he there?"

Rinako let out a very childish laugh at Rumia's joke towards Vulpes when he talked about biting her own hand off. The reason the laugh sounded so childish was well, because technically Rinako was still a child after all, and that was in human years, if they went by kitsune years she was practically a baby! A neat little fact to know but still quickly her laugh began to die down as Rumia proceeded to tell her of how she could probably tell her the story some time later. Even if it was a long story it was a story she was excited to hear one day, even if it would be long.
Rinako couldn't but be stunned silent, with her grin gone as Rumia began to describe the dark power. The one who had tried to get her to accept the power it was offering. She had even been tempted by it at first before that voice had said something to turn her away completely. However her stare turned towards Vulpes who was only looking down at their paws now in pure shame. They knew what had happened there and what had happened because of their instincts to hunt. Although she looked to be silent, Rinako took the chance to say.
" Yes, there was a voice who tried to offer each of us power. We both almost got caught by the voice...I refused. The voice had said something to try and convince me, but what it had said was in fact the very opposite of what I wanted to hear. It told me it could give me some of the foxes power to boost my own strength even further. At the time, I wanted nothing to do with the power of the fox. My say ended up not mattering however as Vulpes here on the other hand, accepted the mark, it had boosted his strength, I could sense the sinister energy, but what was I to be able to do really? I had no control over anything. That was when whoever this voice was slipped up, Vulpes was looking to be losing until this chaos god one hit everyone except Vulpes. The voice.." Rinako would say only to be interrupted by Vulpes. " The voice said for me to stand down a revert back to my normal form, I had no control as I was forced to my normal form, not truly like I had much control before hand either way, my mind had been like that of a primal fox. Anyway, that was their mistake..the hugely underestimated how feisty Rinako here was. " Vulpes would say looking at Rinako before turning back to Rumia.
As Rumia began to explain of this imbalance of a god Rinako and Vulpes immeadiately had a laugh. More so on Rinako. "Well about that god, he is the main reason I am dead. Continuing where how Vulpes said I was quite feisty? Well after I was back to normal, me and Vulpes linked together in one emotion, anger. Her anger in having been tricked, mine in my earlier loss of control...and of the hurt Caeser caused my friends. My body glowed in a firey ki as I charged at him, my ki taking the shape of a red fox, similar in body shape to Vulpes. On me my fangs grew longer, as my eyes shared that same primal fox look. My veins as well glowed with an orange color as well. I charged all the energy I could into one attack, before placing a rather large fireball right in the side of his face. Needless to say it was burned before I well..died. I wished Van good luck, and how I wished I could have been a hero like her, and that is it. That's all I can remember of before I left. "
Rumia had a feeling for the answer she would be given when we saw childish spirit go silent and her companion hang it's head low. It was clear why the answer was before they began their explanation. Rumia would pat Rinako encouragly as she began her explanation, offering a light smile to Vulpus as well. She had no intention of touching the first kitsune after all, she valued her fingers! She would bring herself to attention sitting down criss cross in front the pair. Much like a child might when waiting for a story. She knew it would not be a fun one but... she needed this information regardless. Jarvis and Abzerute, the wanna be god and the bearer of a lost darkness. They were factors that were messing with the balance in the universe, even if they themselves did not think so. They were factors that had to be removed. The small Kai held a personal hate towards both of them. That say North had been a bit reckless sure but... he didn't deserve to die. That darkness should not have been resurrected. It was her fault as much as any of the others, She was forced to flee that day. The hate she held at times sought to overwhelm her sense rationality. It made her want to go down and handle them now, herself. But she could not, It was not her place... at least not yet. Until then she would keep as good a track on their movements as she could. One day they would be removed, with or without her hand. Rinako mentioned that at the time. Rumia could only give a playful smirk at this.
"I'm afraid you don't have much choice there, as you can tell you are bound even in death. Though it... it dosn't have to be a bad relationship I am happy you were able to resist its influence... their are not many who can"
For a moment Rumia would look off to the side, as if contemplating what she said for herself. She knew, but she didn't want to speak of why ether, Not about the duality of two spirits. She then turned had gaze to Vulpus, as if to indicate a firm example. She held nothing against Vulpus herself. Their were precious few in the universe that could resist the call of power that magic offered, even on a normal state of mind should she would chuckle a bit at Vulpis' remark about a feisty Rinako her never actually lost that serious tone.
"That mark is... it's the main reason you ended up down here. Whether it's something ether of you want or not you'll have to accept it, what ether have done... otherwise you'll never find balance, even in your instincts..."
Again Rumia would trail off with her words, memories of the past flickering throughout her mind of her own mentor. Of the memories she could ever fix. The tale of Rinako's end however brought her put of her temporary stupor, as well as causing a playful smile to cross her face. Caesar's face burned now that... that was an entertaining thought. A well deserved burn as well. She would stand back up, and attempt to ruffle he childish fox's hair with care.
"That was very brave Rinako, thank you both for the information, I know it must have been rough recalling your final moments"
She would look the two over. Yenma had sentenced them both to hell. Still did this truly have to be their tome? It was not the worst place sure but... it also was not a place you could be entirely free.
"This place may not be that bad for you two, but I can give you a bit better you know.... If you behave"
Guilt over her master. Understanding of the pair's situation. Anger for how they died. These were the things that drove the kai to ask her question. Still she kept a bright smile.

Though out the time of her story Rinako felt but a soft pat on top of her head. Looking up towards the supreme kai Rumia. It was strange to meet someone who was so nice but yet still wasn't being overly nice to an unneeded level. It felt nice and calming talking to her. Like talking to an age old friend once more or rather the feeling she got when her mother actually came home from long long work days. Her mother...she wondered how they were doing..she hoped they hadn't found out about her death yet..at least not until someone could comfort her..than again who would be able to? No one was on earth to do so. Her father she hadn't heard of from her mother since almost eight years ago when she had found out from her mother that they had died in a mugging. These thoughts pressured her mind intensely. Her desire to get back to life more so than before. She couldn't just leave her mother now again, not like her father. It just...it just wouldn't be right.
Vulpes even looked a little worriedly towards Rinako. Wondering just what thoughts were bothering her. It felt weird that she cared for her soul bound partner. She hadn't truly felt this before. Still..she had to push such feelings away. She couldn't let the others see her care for someone like that. It would ruin the entire look she already had so far gained. She liked being alone, she liked the feel of a rush, she liked that she could have freedom to move, she liked that she could at least make Rinako a bit tougher at least...oh..sh**. She was really glad however that they didn't share thoughts, heck she was glad she didn't have to accidentally admit to something like that. It at least kept her identity safe from such. Still..no..She would keep the rest of her thoughts to herself.
Rinako still unknowing of any thoughts Vulpes had been hiding from her and the supreme kai. She began to listen to how the mark had been the cause that the both of them had been sent down here. She was being told however to accept what mistakes the other had caused. There was one thing there that both of the two spirit did agree on. They agreed that most likely the both of them would never get along truly. Rinako doubted they would ever find the balance just because of how different they both were between each other. However it seemed Rumia would fall silent upon them. Mid sentence seemingly as well..that was until Rinako quickly was surprised by the ruffle of her cloud hair. Rinako looked with a rather big smile upon so however. She liked the praise she was being given by the kai.
" It really wasn't as much trouble recalling the events for you, the things that had hurt more were just..My mom. I'm worried now that she is stuck back on earth alone because of mistakes that were made because of me...and Vulpes. The only thing I really want more than anything is to be able to go back to Earth and try to repay for the mistakes we've made. I remember my biggest goal of all, to try and help the poorer districts. I've lived there my whole life, I've seen everything that went on there, and I remember how jealous I would get of the higher class as we would just get unnoticed more and more. I remember my goal was to try and become a chef, to raise enough money to help the others in the poorer districts. It really was the only option I had a choice for and a chance of, especially since we've lived in the poor districts for so long. My mom used to tell stories of how my great grandparent were so proud and lived so happily but she would never explain how. I always thought it maybe was just her stories to try and push us further to survive, I mean the odds of my family being related to anyone higher class, are slimmer than my life line, which right now is quite slim to none." Rinako would say with a simple laugh until she talked once more. "The truth is, I don't like gaining something off of someone unless I can help them in some way. How about I promise you we wont cause any trouble and will come with you to wherever, if I can at least cook meals for you. " Rinako would say with quite a wink that it was hard for even Vulpes to tell if it was some kind of flirting or was just one as an offer of kindness. The day a fox spirit was confused..who would have ever seen that day coming.
Rumia would frown slightly at Rinako's explanation. Her mother... the person whom gave birth to and cared for her. She left the world before her, left her parent behind.... just like Rumia left Dawn and her mentor. No this was different. This event... this event could still be fixed. It was not Rinako's time to rest, she had died yes but it did not have to be permant. Maybe Rumia was taking this situation to personal but... she did not believe it to be Rinako or her partners time. They were not like Tomo and Natto, she believed the kitsune pair still had purpose in this world. This was not against the rules ether. She was simply going to act as a.... guide.
"Well then we're just going to have to fix that aren't we? Can't have you leaving her behind were going to get your body back and the.... I'm going to help you prepare however... only yall's own will can allow your return in the end, this something you must understand before we begin"
Rumia would let her words hang in the air, allowing the pair to take them as they wanted. She was going to help them. She was tired of unhappy endings. Rinako was not a bad person, nether was Vulpus entirely. Rinako's goals were noble, incredibly so. She wanted to help those weaker than her self, the ones less easily able to support themselves. It was one mistake that gave her the life below. An easy correction however and, should the pair posses a strong enough will they would even be able to reverse what must thought impossible, death itself. She would chuckle lightly at Rinako's answer to her invitation. She was quite the adorable little kitsune to be sure. If all she wished was equal exchange well... who was she to deny her? Chances were she might even get to try a new food out of this deal!
"Very well Rinako, I will take you both with me, and I'll assist in your training to return to the world you love, in exchange you can cook for me as often as you wish now..."
Rumia would hold out both her hands, one for each spirit to take hold of.
"Vulpus, Rinako. If these conditions are to your liking then we can begin! Please take hold of my hands and we can leave this place for my planet in otherworld, it's quite the fin place I assure you, with plenty of things to use for cooking. And Rinako... perhaps I can tell you that story before we begin! Now then if your sure you want this.... we should go"
Rumia offered the pair a final encouraging smile, and when they took her hands they would be warped through her Kai Kai skill from hell to Rumia's personal planet, in the blink of an eye.

Rinako and Vulpes had both taken to listening to the words of the supreme kai very deeply. As they spoke of fixing it they both looked at her in confusion. How were they going to fix something like this? No one escaped the clutches of death right? Unless it truly was possible. Rinako doubted that Rumia would lie to them. Was there really a way to get back to her mother? If such was possible..than..than she could only listen as eagerly as possible to Rumia. The very end of the exciting statement however was a mere question if she understood. To which..she spoke exactly how she felt.
"Rumia..thank you. I really cant thank you enough just for the help you are giving to us. Your offering to help us in so many way and I just dont know how to repay you for all of such. We..we understand completely on your terms. It's just so surprising and unexpected to see such help from another like this. I rarely ever see such anymore." Rinako would say truthfully in pure shock of Rumia surprising kindness. As she said. It was surprising and unexpected. One would never see such kindness in the poorer or even the richer districts.
Vulpes was still surprised as to why Rinako still held the offer to cook for the supreme kai. Though still not nearly as surprised as when they actually accepted it. Well she never actually got to try Rinako's cooking before so maybe for once this would be her own chance as well..that was if Rinako was gonna be able to cook enough. Vulpes didn't doubt it but still even she was worried of how this might turn out. Whether the younger kit cooked something marvelous or something horrible. Great now she was beginning to think like a mother to a kit. With a groan she could only hope they could go back to life soon.
Still Vulpes was sure that maybe there was more to this kit that she hadn't noticed before. Maybe she would talk with the kit..er Rinako later in private. Try to work out why she felt this about her. Still something didn't feel fully right to Vulpes. A gut feeling. That everything happening was just too good. Almost like something bad might be happening soon. Either it be to herself or to Rinako. She couldn't say. She would just have to keep an eye out for whatever bad was to come. For her own sake of course..not Rinako's.
Still the conditions were indeed to both liking as they looked at each other before turning back to Rumia. Rinako attempted to grab Rumia a hug in thanks as Vulpes merely took to grabbing the hand of Rumia's. Rinako was mainly doing the hug however in just for thankfulness. They felt as everything fell apart around them as the pieces began to reform into the brightness of Rumia's personal planet. Vulpes and Rinako shocked by the entirely surreal feeling of it as they had to close their imaginary eyes as the pieces slowly began to rebuild into the world around them. Feeling..almost a tiny pringaly feeling.
