Mitochondria
Name: Mitochondria (Mito)
Age:2
Gender: Male(?) (Bio-android?* maybe)
Race: Bio-Android
Homeworld: Earth
Starting Planet: Earth
Racial Abilities:
Absorption: Using their tail, a Bio-android is capable of absorbing a living creature. When they absorb a creature, they are able to acquire permanently 20% of their total PL. An absorbed target dies.
Regeneration: This is a unique feature for the Namekians. Being able to regenerate lost limbs and even in some cases entire sections of ones body. It requires focus from the Namekian in order to accomplish this feat. [This is a once per thread trait, that increases in use by one for every 50k PL](Makes it so Vaporization is needed to kill Bio-android)
Thirst for Battle: Herans crave for battle and destruction, that’s a urge they have on their very core, meaning that they will most of the times fight to the death. Whenever a Heran is at a Death Enable Thread, they gain an + x2 boost to their transformation. However, if they run away from the fight, the shame will embarrass them for life, giving them a – 50% penalty to their thread gains.
Durability: Due to their amazing biology, Kold demons are far more capable of surviving serious injuries than other races. Therefore, they gain an additional +[x1] modifier to their defensive capabilities in any transformed form. They can freely become an android instead of dying.
Appearance:
Larval Stage- Mito assumes the form of a grotesque insect while in this stage. It looks like a cross between a grasshopper and beetle as the carapace is quite thick looking as if to afford the creature additional protection, though the head resembles the next's stages head which gives the beetle a eerily humanoid aspect to it. There is a thin tail that is tipped with a stinger located on the back of the body which he uses to absorb prey. The body is a shade of very light blue.
Imperfect Stage- Mito is bipedal in this form, shedding most the thick carapace of his larval stage. He has two arms and two legs while having a overall sleeker look to him, making him look more human like. The remaining carapace forms a impromptu armor around his chest, arms, and head while forming two plates that look like wings on his back. His tail, which is located near his mid spine, has grown larger while the stinger became thicker to make absorbing prey easier. The body is a shade of light blue in this form, with the carapace being a shade darker.
Semi-Perfect Stage- Mito's form grows much larger and more human in this form. This form as a humanish face with basic features such as lips, ears, and chin. It's body is very bulky and powerful looking in this state. His carapace covers his upper body and looks a lot more like body armor in this form even the wing plates on his back. His tail is much thicker and powerful looking, and is located near his upper spine. The body is colored blue in this form, with the carapace being a shade darker.
Perfect Stage- Mito's form becomes almost human-like. The bulk from the last form and the insect likeness from the other two are almost completely gone. His face is fully formed with all the normal human features there. His carapace now covers most of his body and is especially thick around the shoulders, looking more like clothing then armor in this form. Even the wings on his back become sleeker, sharper as if mimicking a cape. The base of his tail is located at the top of his spine and can wind into his body. His body is a deep blue in this form, while his carapace is a shade lighter.
Backstory:
Mitochondria was born in the lab of a mad scientist. This scientist, called Dr. Genome, heard of a predecessor in the distant past's attempts of creating the ultimate life form and succeeded. Dr. Genome in his descent of madness decided to follow in the predecessor's footsteps in order to leave his own mark upon history. Unfortunately for him, like his predecessor, he succeeded.
Mito's component races were chosen based on many factors. Namekian DNA was chosen for their regeneration and malleable bodies. Kold Demon DNA was chosen based on their durability and ability to change into different forms on a whim. Herans, the rarest of the chosen DNA and the one chosen as the base for the new being, was picked for their ferociousness in combat and inherent ruthlessness to the race.
However there were many complications to Dr. Genome's plan. Mito was merely one of a dozen bio-androids created in the experiment, but was only one of three to survive to stage two while the others died off to a myriad of complications like DNA rejection, mutated DNA strands, and one to a unfortunate intern accident. After that came a grueling process where Dr. Genome tried to figure out how to provide substance to his new creations who had assumed a egg-like state yet still needed to be given nutrition to grow. The first one to die was the one named Nucleus, the largest of the eggs, because of the strain his larger form put him through while the doctor tried to figure out how to sustain the eggs.
Luckily, the two other eggs, named Cytoplast who almost as large as Nucleus was and Mitochondria was much smaller than either of his brothers, were able to be placed in a vat of nutrients to absorb in time before they too perished like their elder brother. Dr. Genome began to run tests on the eggs to see how progress was going for his new creations personally, mostly in fear of anymore intern accidents. But the two eggs continued to grow without incident for months and Dr. Genome's test started to indicate that the eggs would be hatching soon. Then was when disaster struck.
The Heran whose DNA was chosen to be used in the experiment noticed the very small robot drone who was used to collect the DNA and was not too happy about it. He began to look into the drone, mostly by threatening people who looked like scientists, in order to track the drone to whoever dared to stab him. Though it took him a few months, mostly thanks to getting into a number of fights, the Heran finally tracked down the drone to Dr. Genome and decided to voice his displeasure with the good doctor. With his fist.
Doctor Genome perished that day, sadly, along with most of his lab and interns. In his anger over the insult the Heran decided to destroy the doctor's work before finishing him off, firing off a blast of energy into the central tank in the middle of the lab. Cytoplast, the one Doctor Genome gave the best chance of survival to and therefore focused most of his time monitoring, was killed that day also. Mito who was placed off to the side of the lab for the occasional check up because of his lesser chances of survival was spared the Heran's wrath that day. The blast managed to crack open the tank holding Mito which spilled it's contents onto the floor of the but the egg's durable shell managed to easily protect Mito during this. The Heran left after finishing Dr. Genome off along with the rest of the interns he could find, leaving Mito's egg on the ground.
A few days after the attack on the lab, before the egg could die out of the nutrient tank, it split into two halves. Mito had been born in his larva state by then, a nasty looking insect-like creature, and while he had been the runt of the litter so to speak he was still a bio-android. One that had evovled a mechanism to absorb prey, as it's tail swished about behind it. One that had a very, very deep hunger running through it's body as it looked around the lab. One that had a way out of the destroyed lab, where it could hear delicious birds chirping in the distance. Mito crawled forward on weakened legs into his new life, to find his first meal.
Techniques
Balanced-Tier 1
Offense Tiers
- [OT-1] Kilowatt Beam
[25%]
[li][OT-1] Bio-Blast[/li]A small blue ball of energy is charged up before being launched at an opponent. Electric-like sparks emits from the ball as it is being charged up and when it detonates it in a mixture of an explosion and electricity.
[25%]
[li][OT-1] Bio-Field[/li]Mito charges energy in his body, causing it to glow and electrical sparks to shoot out of it. He then discharges the stored energy in his body at a nearby target in the form of a lightning bolt.

- [SK-1] Flight
[User can Fly]
[li][SK-1]Bio-electrical Field Sense[/li] Mito is able to use his own's body natural electrical detection to detect the electrical field of other beings near him. He is also able to sense the opponents general strength based upon these fields.
[allows to have a general notion of people's PL as long as they are in the same region.]
[li][ST-1] ki suppression[/li] Mito is able to suppress his own Ki to hide his power level but has to weaken his own electrical field as a side effect. As he needs to generate his electrical field in order to use his other techniques, he is unable to suppress his ki when using other techniques.
[Ki suppression when no other techs are used.]

Roleplay Example:
Mito watched the bird as it feel about in the air above him as it circled the tree. The bird had a nest there, one in easy reach of Mito's tail. All he had to do was wait long enough for the bird to land in it’s nest so he could stike. Patience was the key here and Mito was a being that was made of patience, was the definition of patience! At least he is when he is not hungry. But he is always hungry actually, which is probably why he never got to display the deep wells of his patience before now that he thought about it. And he is actually feeling quite starved this early morning which is why he is so very ticked off at this stupid bird that won’t come down to it’s nest to be eaten!
Mito clicked his jaws in an approximation of a sigh as his latest outburst seem to have have scared the bird higher into the air. Should probably work on controlling the bloodlust he gave out when hunting, the larva form he was currently in was a ambush predator then a normal hunt-and-kill one. Which meant that finicky prey that would not get in their nest to be eaten made him really angry and if this stupid, chirp happy bird does not come down here to be eaten then it is going to rue the day it cracked open it’s egg!
And the bird flew even higher now, good job Mito this is a surefire way to get breakfast alright. Suddenly the cracking of a sticking being snapped in two echoed behind Mito. The larval bio-android shuffled his form around to get a good look at what made the noise, this form not really made for easy maneuverability. And as soon as he brought his head around to look at the noise Mito started to regret a lot of things. He regretted coming to this forest this morning for food, he regretted waiting for that stupid bird to fly down into it’s nest, he regretted the fact that there was a massive boar gouging the ground as if preparing to charge position right behind him. And then the boar charged.
Mito was a bio-android. However Mito was a larval form bio-android who had just been born mere days ago and been feasting mostly on small animals like birds and the such. And this boar was massive, clearly the animal on the top of the food chain in this forest. That is why when this massive boar, who could even be called king of the forest it was so large, hooked Mito’s carapace with a tusk, the bio-android found him flung through the air quite easily. The tusk didn’t manage to break the carapace that was protecting the larval bio-android but the impact from being tossed into the air and when he hit the ground a few feet away from where he was thrown hurt something fierce as the impact was transmitted to his insides.
Mito adjusted himself on the ground to face the boar as it came around for another charge. Mito felt fear for the first time in his life, as much as he hated to admit it. This boar could hurt him. This boar might be able to kill him. He had never been in as much danger since the day he hatched until now. Mito did not like this, he did not like to admit he was afraid nor that there was a creature that could so easily kill him. The boar completed its turn and started to gouge the ground in preparation for another charge.
A small arc of electricity sparked around Mito’s body. He felt something starting to gather inside of body but dismissed it as a rising sense of fear as he watched the boar finish it’s little ritual before it charged. Another arc of electricity sparked. The boar made a squeal as it started to charge forward. Another two arcs of electricity sparked around Mito. The boar closed in, tusks leading the way. Mito closed his eyes in horror and fear while he felt something heavy suddenly leave his body. A loud pop sounded, another squeal from the boar, and then silence. Did Mito die? Did the tusk pierce his carapace and end his life?
Suddenly the smell of burnt flesh washed over Mito which caused him to open his eyes, mostly from hunger. What he saw was a darkened ring around himself and a lump of charred meat laying right in front of him. It took a second for Mito to realize what happened to him but when it did he felt relief and joy flood through him. Relief that was still alive and joy that this horrid event somehow ended up as a meal for him. Mito extended his tail from his back to start absorbing the boar.
It was the best meal he ever had. He was still hungry, but he felt the hunger lessen while he ate. Yes, with this meal Mito would surely have a big increase in his power! And now he would be king of this forest, able to feast on all of it’s inhabitants! He would move on from eating the small, near worthless animals that were barely snacks from him and move on to bigger prey like the boar!
A chirp interrupted Mito’s thoughts. Yes, one thing the meal gave him was more control over his emotions, more patience. So before he went out to hunt bigger game there was first the issue of a annoying little chirper who will eventually go down to that nest. And this time, Mito had the patience. Yes, this boar was well worth it, Mito thought to himself as he settled in under the tree in wait. Well worth it indeed he thought once more as a bird chirped from atop the tree.
