A call rang through to the Viceroy's right hand, who was dressed in garments rather different from her normal attire. From head to toe she was wrspped in leather and cloth hunting attire complete with a brown cloth hood to obscure view of her face if need be. This was an assemble that according to her human follower would allow them to more effectivly hide the movements of of all but a certain sibling so long as they kept to the ground. This would be key as Motet pursued her targets through this mechanical dessert of a planet. Vaneeta had become the Viceroy and despite the circumstances involved the planet haf begun to regain life under her leadership. Motet knew her friend had no plans to play the puppet on Caesar's strings, just as Motet didn't plan allowing Shizen or any of her friends or siblings to remain under the jerk's influence. The power to make even the closest of friends hurt those they held dear... But they had no choice at the time. It had been the only way to resolve things without desth. Rest assured though she would free Shizen from that monster's grip and bring her back home and to her senses. She woudnt allow that so called god to get away with his dirty games and she sure as heck woudnt allow him to lay another hand on her Vaneera! She was sick and tired of the jerk hurting her friends! The scarred brenchian would rub her belly at the memory of that day, before finally trying to turn her attention to her brother.
After his fight with their sister Nova Beatra was left uncounious and barely clinging to the threads of life, to the point even Nova and Motet thought the man dead! The only reason he wasnt in fact was due to the timely arrival. Of a young mechanic from the village Vaneera and Motet lived in back on earth. The young girl was a wiz with machinary and took the boy's soon to be corpse body away after the area had been vacated . Afterwards, not knowing Beatra's affiliation at the time the woman proceeded to rebulid him through the android process, as it was the only way she knew to conserve his life. At first Beatra had been extremly rebelious to the mechanic but now? Well a complience chip as well as a little thinking on Beatra's part helped him see the girl had saved his life. Afterwards the girl named Hime presented both herself to Vaneera and crew. It took a lot of convincing, several hammer blows and considersble essing of Motrt's nerves but he had been allowed in alongside her-some gave it to Nova getting the service she claimed destined of her brother as psrt of the reason but who knew? In any case it all led to this... They were going to strike at the last of the corruption on this planet, Mother.
"Sister, councilwoman Oratroio.... Dang it Motet pay attention!"
Oh right Beatra had been saying something hadnt he? Motrt turned to face him and the lancer responded by pointing down below.
"Were near an enemy camp, i thought you might want to see how things had changed your innocence"
What they saw caused both Hime and Motet to shudder. Winged beastial demons... The dead as well all mixed in eith the normal soldiers of the PTO still loyal to Mother. What was this? Could they even harm the walking dead? And what of the demons?
"O...orders mrs Motet?"
The girl put on a brave face, but the mechanic was clearly terrified.
"Huh?"
Beatra sighed before replying
"Your the commander here remeber? She and I both require orders on how to preceed in this matter dammit"
Motrt straghtned at the reminder and shook her hesd before staring back down at her foes. Aid, she... She needed Vani and Pinkie for this
"Send word by closed communication to Vani and my sister telling them of the situstion, we'll need their aid if this is truly what were dealing with, k?"
Childish innocent and soft hearted but not a fool or an idiot. She woudnt admit to it but the childish brench was far from an incompitant commander. It showed in her actions. Having orders seemed to ease Hime's nerves as well, if only a little.
"Yes mam!"
And the brunette was off to contact her other surperiors.
It all played out in her head again. The events that led to her becoming Viceroy... All of her power and training resulted in her being nothing more than a moving training dummy for Caesar; and he was holding back all along. The gap between them was too large, and that wasn't even accounting for his military might. There were a lot of people on his side... Vaneera was left having to cope with the fact that she had to agree to his terms or face destruction. Even though she was prepared to die if it meant that her friends would be saved.
That was exactly what she managed to do. Motet, Rinako, and Nova... They all managed to get away safely, meaning that for the first time ever, Caesar had to face her. And he found someone with no fear. Somehow, she was still alive. Somehow, Planet Brench was still here... Somehow, she was the Viceroy. Although a duel had been arranged with the new ruler of the Kold Empire. Vaneera held no fear in that regard. She was more powerful than any Kold Demon currently alive, a boast which she would back up through actions if so necessary.
The White Brenchian was left in her throne room, trying to sort out her thoughts on all of this, as well as trying to get the Planet Trade Organization on track; it was becoming a new faction entirely, but to do that also meant that she needed to deal with the rebels still left... Caesar's arrival ended up complicating matters, to say the very least. All of her enemies managed to escape rather than being dealt with on the spot. A distinct ringing brings her out of her thoughts however, a frightened voice on the other end telling her about what was going on in the battlefield.
So... Motet found one of the enemy camps, and wasn't prepared for the amount of soldiers they had. Vaneera calmly rose from her throne and made her way to the Balcony. "Back to it, then.", she muttered to herself. The Viceroy took flight and soared off towards the coordinates she had been given. Her speed was nothing short of unreal, even with the new weighted armor she had acquired. This was the armor of a Viceroy, one that she wore with pride. One that would assist her in becoming even stronger than she was right now!
Ever since that battle with Caesar, her power had skyrocketed permanently. But there was still much more growing that she could do. Her hair and eyes both carried a soft, noticeable glow now. As soon as she arrived, Vaneera was already leading a charge onto the enemy camp... By herself. "You picked a bad day to screw with me!!", she roared, carrying through on her momentum with a flurry of blows. The proper soldiers, the living dead, and the winged demons alike falling to her blows. "W-...What the hell is she?!", panicked cries out of the soldiers would echo out.
"I'm the Viceroy! And while you're grasping at strands of power, Caesar is enjoying his games! I'll give you all one chance to stand down. You can throw down your weapons, and I won't beat sense into you.", the Viceroy would eventually respond, now hovering over the camp with her arms crossed. She hadn't even drawn her blade yet. The White Brenchian was a skilled fighter, certainly. And a powerful one, there was never any doubt there... But she was also being pushed even further due to her frustrations. Her patience was at an end because of the God King.
Glancing around, she could confirm that the warriors here were afraid to approach her. Save for the living dead and the Demons. She obliged those without fear by striking them down. They weren't her people; at least not anymore. Those still decidedly mortal however, dared not to approach her. They were seeing firsthand just what someone with the capabilities to rule could do. Vaneera may have been on the 'weaker' scale of things compared to the rulers of other factions... But she was far from any slouch. All of her effort made her a Brenchian not to be crossed.
"Hmph. I came here expecting a challenge. Something I could vent out my anger on. Bring your leaders! I tire of this.", she declared to the gathered enemy army. It wasn't even a battle that could take her mind off of everything that occurred... Frankly, she wanted peace more than anything else, too. So that she and Motet could spend some time together. They all needed to focus on their training so that getting out from under Caesar's thumb was actually an option. She, Motet, and Nova would all need to grow in power. Maybe alone it wasn't possible to match him.
But all together, that was something else entirely! With the resources on hand, it should surely be possible to turn matters around... Still, it had to be taken one step at a time. With the rebels still at large, they couldn't just pool all of their focus into that. They needed to secure the Organization first, and then worry about the future... But one way or another, Vaneera intended to change it. Just like she intended to change the Planet Trade Organization's way of life. With all of that said, however... Vaneera was wondering if they were going to bring their leaders or not.
From what she heard, Motet's mother was one of, if not the cause of this rebellion. The mastermind, as it were. It would certainly make things a lot easier, rather than focusing on all of the lowly grunts here... Well at the very least, it would save her some time. She'd then glance over to Motet. "I came as soon as I heard. I'll handle things from here.", she would offer assurance to her friend, as well as those that followed her into battle. It seemed like it was going to be a long day.
"Viceroy huh? What, your the one that stood even with master Rockell?"
A rather thin male brenchian would step foward among the cowering solders and falling dammed a halberd sat comfertably on his back as he regarded the planet's leader with a look of indifference.
"You sure? Your strong yeah, but I see nothing special enough to allow your surviving his blade"
A couple of the remaining soldiers, perhaps to dumb to or emboldened by the man's response would openly laugh at the mans words, Among Harmona's forces Rockell was by far know as the most durable body, having no need for body armor. And his blade? Their was a reason they wearnt quick to belive Vaneera's words despite her display.
"Sloth, thats me. Im second in the command of this detachment. Our leader is Pride, whom should be along shortly, im afraid ill have to do till then. Hmmm... Yeah pulling at strands you said? Yeah, your probaly right. But a soldier has to follow orders you know? Otherwise were dirty desserters aint we? Much like the Oratorio siblings you so lovingly harbor. Oh sigh... They betrayed their own mother, what makes you think their not waiting to put a knife in your back mrs highness? Now THATS grasping at straws. Yes Grasping at straws... It had a good result for you eh? I have to admit combat is a bit of a drag... But Vaneera and the Oratorio siblings are all to be slaughtered on sight... Orders are orders, Mistress Harmona gets cranky when I avoid work. Ill give you a moment to talk with the beloved... After all shed never ever hurt you... Besides im not that eager for slaughter anyway ya know?"
His tone was a mix of bordom and mocking, as he tried to drive a wedge in the Viceroy's trust for her companions. All he needed was a bit of doubt...
When Vaneera turned to face Motet and her group she was met with an indifferent look from Beatra first. He respected the Woman's power, but he had yet to belive her a true leader as of yet. Taking the thrown was one thing. Maintaing your kingdom was another matter all together.
As for hime she would quickly run behind Vaneera now, all but hiding under cloak with how close she got. Hime was wiz at tech but she was fsr from a fighter. She didnt mind heloing if she had to but... She wasnt exactly a super couragous young girl!
Motet would giggle at the girls actions before giving her close friend a bright smile and despite the circumstsnces quickly grapping her into a quick but tight hug, letting go soon after.
"Sorry Vani.... I know you have your own things to do. Ive been handling the normal bands but... Ive never fought demons and the undead before! I uh... Is it possible to actually kill them? I mean you cant really just... Double kill life can ya? Oh but im so happy your here but... No im your second, we'll do it together as a team cause then nothing can stop us right?"
The bright and life filled smile the viceroy knew all to well at this point would gracce her face, to be interupted by A cough from Beatra would acknowledge Motet's leaving them out, to which Motet aplogised, rubbing the back of her head in emberisment. Afterwards shed look over the hill to gaze over the hill at vani's handiwork. When she caught site of Sloth however the council member would noticbly stick her tounge out at the man, who mearly gave her a wave of indifference. It seemed they knew each other. Truly Motet would be more than happy to explain if she was asked. Ugggh that guy was just so bland!
So there were those that still held no fear of her. Good. One Brenchian spoke up amidst the crowd of frightened 'warriors'. "No. I didn't stand even with him.", she would respond to him. "More accurately, I surpassed him entirely. And that was before I unlocked my latest transformation.", the Viceroy added. She stated it in such a tone that it felt like she was willing to back up her boast on the very spot; and she entirely was ready to do just that. She came here expecting a fight, and it seemed that she would have one at this rate.
Once he suggested that they were merely following orders, and doing otherwise meant that they were deserters, just like Motet and Nova... Vaneera merely laughed. But then, she stopped when she realized that no one else was laughing with her. "Wait, you were serious? Let me laugh even harder.", she let out yet another laugh. "Sloth, was it? I'm going to assume that doesn't also mean that you're slow in the head. But just in case that you are, let me put this into terms that you can perfectly understand.", she would then begin to explain to the second in command.
She then proceeded to throw open her red cloak. Revealing the armor that she was wearing, as well as the sword at her side. "You recognize this armor, I trust? It's the armor given to every Viceroy. Designed to protect, and to enhance their training methods; a ruler must be strong. After all. Now, do you know how it enhances their training method by chance?", she asks rhetorically. "To put it simply, it's made out of Katchin. Incredibly heavy Katchin, at that. With this I would say that my power is reduced to about twenty five percent of what I'm normally capable of."
Vaneera declares for all to hear. "To make that perfectly clear. That means my full power is over three million. This isn't a battle for me. It's a training excursion. Your gathered army is so little a threat to me that I haven't even bothered to draw my sword.", she continues... Any enemy soldiers that were laughing... Well, they probably weren't laughing now. The White Brenchian offered no objection as Hime then proceeded to hide under the Viceroy's red cloak. Soon after Motet approached with a smile and a hug; gestures which Vaneera returned in kind.
"Well. I suppose I should focus on the battle ahead of me. You all know what to do, hold formation and deal with any enemy that gets too close.", Vaneera instructed. "They like to talk a big game, but now their soldiers are being faced with the real deal... Shock troops are never prepared for this situation.", the Viceroy added... Then she pondered over Motet's question. "Demons are just as mortal as anything else... If we slay them, we won't have to worry about them anymore. Fancy becoming a Demon Slayer, Motet?", Vaneera asked. She had become a little... Cynical.
No thanks to Caesar and Shizen, that is. "As for the Undead... Break down their bodies enough and they'll be forced to regenerate, being left defenseless in the process. We can either ship them off or imprison them. So for everyone here... If your opponent isn't truly alive when you're fighting them? Don't be afraid to not hold back.", with all of that out of the way, the Viceroy then turned towards Sloth and his band once more. She now took a step towards him, though did not draw her blade yet. "Sorry to disappoint you, but my troops will only be fighting in self defense."
Vaneera states. "That means you'll be facing me alone. I'm your opponent... That's not just for you, but your soldiers too. Try to give me a challenge, hmm? Of course if you intend to duel me, I'll oblige... It really makes no difference to me. The only thing that changes is how much time this is going to take. So I'll ask each of you again...", the White Brenchian would pause for a moment... Then her power flared to it's peak; though she was careful not to send Hime flying back from the sheer force.
"If you lay down your weapons, I'll let you walk away. All crimes forgiven.", she declared. "The rest of you, whoever wishes to claim my head for your leader... You're welcome to try and take it.", Vaneera finished. There wasn't much left to say anymore. Whoever still wanted to fight made their choice, the only thing that was going to change their mind was a proof of her power. She was more than willing to oblige. The beating she wanted to give the God King would have to be reserved for another day... But that didn't mean she couldn't vent a little.
Still, some of them were pretty weak. She'd have to try not to kill them. Good thing she had practiced her Martial Arts so diligently. Keeping her opponents alive would be easy enough... Still, it seemed that Motet didn't want to sit this one out either. "Well, if that's your choice. But someone needs to make sure the others are safe. I don't really mind having this fight to myself. After the type of day I just had, it will be nice, really.", she would say to her friend, a surprisingly calm smile on her face.
"Besides, it looks like you've all had it pretty rough. It won't do if I come out of this looking like I barely did anything at all, right?", she jested. Vaneera was... Trying to keep her emotional state from making her entirely ruthless like that of a Kold Demon. It would be so easy to keep up her front, and crush everything beneath her... But that wasn't what she wanted to be. In a way, this was important practice for her. Trying to walk that fine line of power, but benevolence. She couldn't appear weak, but ruling with an iron fist was no better.
"Ha thats funny ya know, a true riot i gotta say.... I mean you HAVE heard of supression havn't you? RockellRockell's not so weak. I suppose you'll see that though, given I and likely Pride will be dying today. Oh well... It was a good life I suppose, and you'll be cut down later anyway... Meh, can't abandon my orders though... I'll have to die today. Bleh such a drag... Unless I cut you down while your weighed down of course but... We'll see what happens. Im afraid that, even if I wanted to i coudnt flee. Its more than loyality you know? Its servitude. You try being bound to someones will. It SO is not a happy day"
While the others remained on standby as per their orders Motet herself maintained her bubbly attitude despite the situation. Having her friend around went quit a way towards boosting her spirits, now she felt she could take on anything!
"Oh so thats how it works, thats pretty awesome Vani! And yes Motet the Demon Slayer! Dosnt that have an awesome ring to it? Ill be your backup then, Beatra can hold mind and Hime.... Well she csn repair old beati! So go give that lazy twerp a beating k? Hes so annoying!. Hehe your great vani! If you wanna handle it that bad ill just watch then! We sre a bit tired hehe"
Meanwhile Sloth would give a sigh and unshesth his Halberd, holding at attention.
"Ok go teach him a lesson vani! No one messes with my... THE Viceroy!"
Sloth would sigh again.
"Thsts cute and all, but ive no time for this, lets begin"
The brenchian would thrust his halberd foward, sending fortha burst of spear shaped ki blasts at Vaneera!
Meanwhile the soldiers on Sloth's side would mesrly stand their, almost vacent as all emotion and for that mstter the prievious fesr left their faces. They mesrly stood their like a row of domanoies, their eyes empty.
(Ot-1 Ki attack launched at Vaneera. Stamina remaining 3/4 25% PL Attack)
"I haven't just heard of suppression.", she replies to Sloth. "I've mastered it. Which has become useful ever since I've permanently unlocked this power... However, if Rockell was holding back in our duel, he was doing more than suppressing his power. He was hiding it in terms of his skill as well.", she adds. "I'll humor you. Maybe he is more powerful than me; but power is hardly the only thing that wins a fight. You see, there's a difference between all of you, and me.", she then states. It was time to point out a truth in all of this.
"You fight because you are forced to. I fight because I choose to. So long as that difference exists, your leaders will be unable to pull out a victory against me... They will be unable to lead the Organization as it needs to be led.", the Viceroy finished... Still, even with that said; that didn't changed that they were apparently bound to someone's will. The morally acceptable option here would be to find a way to free them. But a key question remained in that line of thought. Did they even want to be freed? That she wasn't so sure of.
Motet had the potential in her to change. But Vaneera couldn't sense the same in Sloth, or the Soldiers that still thought it best to fight against her rule. Speaking of Motet, her friend finally agreed to make sure that everyone else was kept safe while she handled the fighting. "Thanks, Motet. We'll have the chance to fight together properly soon. It falls to us to ensure our people are safe, however.", Vaneera voices her gratitude... Now she could focus on her fight with Sloth. A glance here and there revealed that the soldiers no longer held fear however.
They seemed vacant of any emotion, even life itself. This... It was unnatural. If this was what her enemies were like, she wouldn't have a decent fight at all. But even more than that, she wanted to know who was behind this... So she could really give them a good kicking! To treat the lives of those supporting you as mere pawns... What a disgusting way of thinking. As Sloth drew his Halberd, Vaneera did not bother to draw her sword from her sheath. "Yeah, don't worry. I'll teach him a lesson none of my enemies will forget anytime soon."
The White Brenchian responded. After that, another smart comment from the thin male, and then he followed up with an attack. Vaneera simply walked towards him. As his attacks neared, she stepped to the side of each to evade them entirely, keeping stride towards her foe. "If that's the extent of your power, this will be a very boring duel.", she then surges towards Sloth with the full power that her weighted armor allowed, aiming to smash her fist into his gut. She'd then follow up with a kick aimed towards his dominant weapon arm. No sense in holding back ALL of her skill, right?
Even if she came here not intending to use her full power. She wasn't just going to do something crazy, like fight with both arms behind her back. It would certainly be impressive, and assuredly get her quite a few results in terms of training... But this was neither the time or the place. "So, given the new look that your soldiers have... I'm guessing that your leader can be thanked for this. Stripping life away from them to create an unquestioning soldier.", she then comments. It was still enough to anger Vaneera... Not like that was hard.
Caesar and Shizen both had given her a pretty short fuse lately. "I'm curious on if they really want what's best for the Organization... Or what's best for themselves. Then again, it doesn't seem like anyone here really cares about that anymore.", she pointed out, but then answered her own question. A battle where she just had to beat down everyone and everything in her path, huh? Normally, she'd have loved that after what she went through... But somehow, her enemies kept finding ways to ruin all the best things she was dreaming of having come true.
"I'm really starting to get annoyed.", Vaneera then declared as her power began to surge to it's peak now. This time she didn't need to worry about holding back as no one was standing directly next to her. No one that she was scared of hurting, in any case. Still, this entire situation could be solved so much easier if she was able to face off with the mastermind of this rebellion... But from what she could gather, Motet would definitely want a part in that as well. Not that she could blame her friend, given the circumstances involved.
Maybe this was training in a different way than she had meant it, however. The Cerulean Empire was vast, and they had an army that held an undying loyalty to it's God King... Maybe even those that had their wills subjugated just like this. If not in the people that he had 'freed', then definitely in those he intended to bring into the Empire now. Just thinking of Caesar and his ways was enough to make her want to start breaking everything in her way. But she held back on that thought. Wouldn't do to create that sort of image.
She needed to get the point across on what type of ruler she wanted to be. That was going to be important, so as to create less doubt in the fact that she could be Viceroy. It would be no easy feat, but who came here thinking that it would be easy? Vaneera just wanted to make it more challenging because it was all she knew to do. If her enemies were that powerful, she needed every possible advantage to catch up to them and surpass them. That was the simple way to put the entire situation... Then she needed to have a talk with Motet.
About Shizen in particular.
WC: 1,010 Total WC: 3,018 _____________________ Stamina 4/4 Dodged Sloth's OT-1 with 350,130 vs 150,000. Easily won with 200,130 to spare! Followed up with a Martial Arts Strike for 157,559/175,065 damage!
The call had come a bit late admittedly, after all that transpired, Nova had to think for a little bit. To think about all she was going to do now, she honestly didn't consider team work in her plan. But she had to now, it was a very good opportunity, even her evil side couldn't deny that. Still...The split Brenchian wasn't going to rush into any new plans. She never did. Only reason she rushed into the battle before was because it was her only chance. ... Still she definitely stopped all her thinking when the call for help came through.
"... If that were anyone else, and for any other purpose, I'd let it ring out into the ether. Fine, but I'll only be satisfied if I hit someone over the head with my hammer!" Nova stands up from the cliff side she was perched on, hefting the heavy warhammer over her shoulder and hurrying off! Before long, she showed up to help out. ... But not without making her entrance rather sudden. She flared up her power to the max, intent on slamming into Sloth with the full force of her hammer!
Whether it connects or not, she lands on her feet, sliding to a stop as she turns to look at the already ensuing battle. "Kept you waiting, huh?" She grins and hefts her hammer back up onto her shoulder, ready to keep fighting! "What exactly is the whole situation here? Someone brief me so I can really help out!" ...It then becomes apparent she came in swinging at the first viable target and lucked out. She scans the battlefield...And notices something familiar. A thousand alarms start going off in her head as she notices Beatra... "WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?! I THOUGHT I FINISHED HIM OFF!!" She thunders. Now really wasn't a good time, but she was genuinely baffled he was still alive. And standing among those she perceived as allies no less.

Nova has activated mach dash! [x9] NEW PL: 142,659
Nova used OT-2: Hammer smash! on Sloth for 71,329 PL!
BAM SMASH, Sloth was rocked and tossed aside, seemingly putting up no defense as he was quite litterly thrown around like a rag doll. In both his face and his body movements he seemed to just not care, though his body did register the pain.
"Nova...."
With each hit he was knocked around, yet their was no visible reaction as he did so.
At the end a black aura lightly radiated around him a moment, And he simply got back to his feet before shaking his head.
"You should probaly listen to the Oratario sibling there, the smart one I mean. As much effort as it takes to fight close to the more frontal line. Theirs a reason I'm made to, you'll find it hard to slash or blast me down"
He shook his head, casually spinning his halberd before continuing.
"Each member of the Oratario family bears a unique ability, the power to manipulate a specific elemental power. Did you ever bother to ask them why this was? They are not Elemi, is it not unnatural to posses the ability to such a degree?"
Again he shook his head, his gaze turning to each of the attending Oratario siblings in turn, before returning to Vaneera.
"Its not a secret, at least not to them and the rest of us effected by it, meh.... do you know what a spirit is...? Bleh course You do you were fighting them, anywaaaaay you used to have have two spirits sealed at your planets center, now you have one and its the important one here anyway, The master made a contract with this creature, don't ask what it got, I couldn't give two fucks less. Anyway the siblings, as kids were there as were their parents and seven of her closest in terms of commanding and shit. She wanted the creatures power, and gave something to obtain it. It gifted each one of them.... with a double edged sword, eleven in total. Power and a curse... up you should know well what they are by now, with those two."
He then finished by pointing his halberd at Vaneera.
"You wanna know why I don't give a shit? Because I don't have to, not to sound cocky. But you won't kill me, because I can't die. I'll watch everything die around me, I'll serve her well into your dying breath. I couldn't care less about your rule because I'll outlive it, it simply does not matter. Your stronger yes, far stronger. But why should that matter to me?"
He then slammed his halberd into the ground and sent a powerful wave of spiking energy at Vaneera!
(Ot-2 Ki Wave fired at Vaneera! Stamina 1/4)
Meanwhile Motet at first gave a guilty expression when Sloth began explaining, clearly not wanting anything revealed it the first place. She hated that time now more than ever, though even now she wasn't exactly sure why. She just... that thing, having learned everything she did it no longer seemed why. In order to distract herself she decided to turn her attention to her sister, quite litterly knocking her brother away as he tried to began explaining everything to Nova.
"Oh hi Nova WELL you seeee it's not my fault really! This mechanic from our time on earth came and....kinda fixed his broken body after you smashed him to death! He's an android noooow. He can't attack us though, in fact he kinda... serves us now I guess? Least I suppose you'd see it that way! He's on our aide now!"
She was rather frantic, and Nova LIKELY knew why. She was nervous at the past being dropped.
Sloth seemed to just... Let the attack hit him, that was the first warning sign. Then Nova literally swooped in and smashed him into the dirt with her hammer, which seemed to more than do the job on finishing him off. But... He just got right back up from that like nothing happened. A black aura radiated around him... Just what sort of unnatural power was this? It didn't even match up with some of the stories she heard about the Undead. Whatever it was, it didn't really matter. She did have something with quite a deal more power involved...
"Oh yes, you've been a very challenging fight so far. I can see that I'll just have to put that much more effort into defeating you... While still not even using my full power. Is that something that keeps slipping your mind?", the White Brenchian retorted. Whatever his game was with this intimidation, it wasn't working. Nor would it work. She faced down the God King, and he was a far worse foe than this Sloth could ever hope to be. In any case, he then began to speak about the Oratorio siblings again... More specifically, the powers that they held.
"What are you expecting out of this? That I'll ask her what you mean by that, she'll reveal something like 'I was genetically modified', and it shatters my world view? It's not gonna happen.", she replies. A part of her was curious just what it was he was talking about, but it wasn't going to be at 'some great cost'. Her perspective on Motet and Nova would never change. Not that it seemed to stop Sloth in his explanations regardless. So some sort of spirits... A deal with a creature was made, and a gift and curse were granted to eleven people?
"So let me get this straight... Evil Cult making shady deals with mystical beings. Yeah. That adds up with how your current army is shaped.", she concedes. Still, she was wondering where this was all leading. Then... Sloth started to do the most stupid thing he could possibly do in this type of situation. "You're starting to sound like him...", Caesar. "You don't mind if I decide to imagine you with his blue haired face, do you?", she jested, but, the tone in her voice was deadly serious at the same time. She began to walk towards him.
Sword held out, tip just barely scratching away at the surface of the ground. When he slammed his halberd into the ground and sent out an energy wave, Vaneera simply jumped into the air, angling herself so as to evade the wave entirely, and then land back on her feet and continue her stride towards him. "Maybe you are immortal. But I think we should find out just how immortal you really are.", she began to gather her energy. A glow gathering in her sword and her entire body. So unafraid of death... Not even worried about the consequences.
He'd probably just take the hit. So make it one that counts, eh? By the time he realizes, it would be too late to avoid it. "How about we play a little game, 'god'? I'm going to hit you with my most powerful technique... All you have to do is not break into little pieces. That should be no trouble for an immortal like you, right? Always acting like time is going to be how you win. Are you that much of a coward and a weakling that you won't even face your enemies properly? You're probably just like him."
Vaneera hated people just like him... To be fair, there weren't many people like Caesar. Sloth happened to be just enough of a match, however. "How many soldiers are you going to let die for you because you won't face me right now? So confident you are that your leaders will win. Yet I don't see them here, meeting me in battle. But I'll humor you. Let's say you do defeat me... Their rule is reinstated. Do you really think that's going to be the end of it?", she poised to Sloth. None of this changed the inevitable truth they all faced.
Caesar was their ruler now. The one that called the shots until they became unified enough to break free. "They're damn well not strong enough to stop Caesar. And even if you have yourselves a whole damn circle of immortals, you're not going to outlive the God King. You know what he'll do when he finds out even one of you have that 'immortality'? He's going to make you a toy. His own personal punching bag. Oh, but you don't give two shits. Maybe you'll even serve him. A match made for eternity.", she wasn't going to immediately attack with Timeblade.
No, she wanted as much power as she could get with it, and even though he seemed hard to kill... He looked winded from all of that attacking he just did. Enough that she could easily dodge whatever he could send her way, and not disrupt the charge on her technique. "Truth is... I don't really give a damn about you, or your remnant order. I don't care about the creature you all made a deal with. I don't even care if Fate itself is on your side.", she then stopped at a fair distance from Sloth.
The distance between them didn't really matter, once she attacked it would be over in an instant. "I've already made a vow to defeat that God King. You think a few more immortals is going to scare me away from this fight? Now, why don't you live up to your name, become a lazy bastard and not talk because it's too much trouble.", she grinned. "You're not going to talk me out of being a Viceroy, and you're damn well not going to defeat me.", she finished. At first, this was just a way for her to blow off steam. But now, Sloth had pissed her off.
