Earth. The blue planet. The Captain had heard tale of this small mud ball in the North Galaxy during his travels, and he often found himself curious as to what it was like. What were it's people like? Did they truly value their zeni so much? Crimson found himself asking these questions on a daily basis, a curiosity born of a need for dominance.
As he stepped out of his Spacepod that day, he could feel the cool fall breeze on his bare arms. By all appearances, anyone would mistake the low class Saiya-Jin for an alliance warrior, his battle scarred armor showing off a history of fierce fighting. He'd been a killer for a very long time, from an infant.
His eyes would move over the horizon slowly, and he'd take note of the many small buildings dotting the green, swaying canvas underneath his heavy boots. He looked back at his old spacepod for a moment, brown eyes narrowing as he took note of the damage done. He thought to himself. I'd best make this excursion count. The old pod can only take one more trip, and I want to save that for when I return to Natto and claim the throne.
He chuckled a bit, an evil grin spreading across his battle scarred face. It was strange, to be sure. His precense amongst the Spectrum Force had taught him everything he knew about refined fighting, but his instincts were those of a Saiya-Jin warrior. There would never be any question of what he was, and this probably explained his dominance as the Team Captain.
Reaching into his belt, he rolled his neck and pulled out a small vial containing tiny green pellets. He looked down at the vial for a moment before holding it up to the light, the midday sun's rays gleaming off of it and reflecting off of his dark armor. His tail would swish behind him for a moment before he smirked and flipped the lid off the vial. "I suppose I should get this rust off of me. Those cats weren't worth the fur covering their bodies. But Saiba...old tried and true method of training." He looked at the hills of Earth, eyes narrowed. The next part wasn't said aloud. Of course, I've heard rumors of the Earthlings not being very keen to my kind. That's exactly why I need to train. People have warned me about this planet...they say I am in danger. I say I am being tested.
His tail would slide around his waist and tie like a belt before he swept his arm in front of him, the green seeds flying to land on the ground surrounding the Saiya-jin warrior, immediately starting to take root. They were growing right in front of his eyes, and Crimson would look on with interest. Four humanoid figures would emerge from the moist, brown soil and each one would have a set of red eyes focused on Crimson.
Crimson wouldn't move, head bowed as two long strands of black hair would sway in front of his eyes. He wouldn't tremble, nor would he show any sign of fear. He would never show fear, no matter what the situation. That part of his lineage would be evident in his attitude. The corner of his lips pulled upward. "I do hope you little green men will present me with the challenge that I desire. You see, I need training and..." the air rose from his chest in the form of a chuckle. "...you "things" always make perfect dummies."
The Saiba men looked at one another, not really understanding a word the cruel warrior had said. No. It was moreso a case of hearing the condescension in his tone as he looked down at them in turn, assessing his would be training partners.
Crimson didn't have much of a choice as far as training partners would go. The rest of the Spectrum Force had stayed behind to defend their home from an invading force of unknown aliens, another thought that sat deep in the mind of the warrior now known as Crimson. Spacing his feet apart, he thrusted a hand before him flat palm and the right hand, he'd drawn down to his side in a fist. Any Earthling would have recognized this as Kung Fu...but Crimson knew it as his own fighting style.
"Let's begin, shall we? Have at you, beasts." And so the spar would begin, the two Saibamen before crimson closing in, each with a downward slash. With the grace of a swan and unbefitting of a hulking Saiya-jin, Crimson would spin to the right side, kicking his left leg out and sending one of the Saibamen behind him into a nearby boulder. Crimson would then growl as a set of sharp claws cut into his left side, but would drop a swift elbow onto the attacker's melon like head. "Smooth move, fool! You've only served to piss me off!"
With a swift set of movements, the saiya-jin would explode forward and pummel the same Saiba who'd spilled his blood Word to the wise. A shark gets angrier when it smells blood in the water, and right now Crimson fought with the ferocity of Great white in a feeding frenzy. His fists flaring with ki, he pounded into the Saibaman's soft form, finishing the combo by throwing a large red sphere into the air toward the airborne saiba. "Pumpkin Bomb!"
KRACKDOOOOOOM! The Saibamen watched on in horror as their comrade exploded in a shower of green blood and body parts. But these wild versions of Saiba...they only got angry. "KEEEEEEEE!"
"Hey! Get off of me, you trash!" Crimson spun around, trying to reach the Saibaman now attached to his back, flashing as it's own energy rose exponentially. Crimson knew what was coming, and...he did something odd...his tail...
"Kee?" The self destructing Saiba would find his long tail wrapped around it, and flailing its arms, the saiba would panic.
Crimson laughed and tossed the saiba into the air, the explosion rocking the Earth around them. He'd stand up straight and look at the Saibamen remaining, tail swaying behind him, his head tilted backwards. "You...you self destruct. Interesting...I knew this though. But I wonder...what would the more expensive seeds get me? You creatures are boring me. What are you going to do next exactly? Screech? Try to scare me? Hrmf. Not likely."
Crimson slowly moved forward at the two saiba remaining, hands moving up to crack his neck. To be frank and honest, the saiya-jin warrior found himself bored by their very precense. Tried and true method or not, the only thing making this any challenge at all being his weighted combat boots. I will never buy saiba seeds from a street vendor again. These morons are worthless.
The Saiba had but one choice. Even in their stupidity, they knew that they had to do something. They may not have been the smartest creatures in the world, but every living thing had that same instinct and that was to live. They flew forward quickly, pumping their little fists at the saiya-jin who was slaughtering them, one by one.
As he dodged and blocked, sweat poured down his pronounced forehead. Finally, they were showing a bit of promise, their attacks testing the speed of the saiya-jin but only serving to make him fight harder. Blocking a kick from one Saiba, he thrusted his leg out and kicked the other backward, the Saiba's body carving a ditch in the green grass.
The saiba was in pain as it laid there, trying to push itself to is feet, vision blurred. Crimson had knocked the daylights out of the creature along with it's breath. It's eyes would pick up the sight of the saiya-jin obliterating it's brethren with a huge, Crimson ki wave.
Crimson stood there after destroying the third saiba, smoke pouring from the palm of his large hand. His expression was cool, calm...his body was covered in green blood by now, dripping down from his wild hair onto the ground. Crimson turned to the stirring Saiba, tilting his head. "The smart thing to do would be to run away, you know. Then again, you are a training dummy. Am I correct?" He grinned maliciously. Of course I am correct. I've been doing this since I was a baby. Those foolish saiya-jins, they sent me to that horrid planet. They left me for dead. But one day...I will be their King.
The saiba whimpered as it fell flat on it's face, the cruel warrior growing ever closer. With every step, his heavy footfalls would send shivers up the spine of the creature. It experienced something new....fear. Looking up, it would see the foot of Crimson raise high...and hear one word.
"Goodbye."
SQUASH!
