Mochiko Tamon
Name: Mochiko Tamon
Age 24
Gender: Female
Race: Android (flavored Human focused on tech)
Homeworld: Earth
Starting Planet: Earth
Appearance:
Mochiko is stoic and calculative, giving off a cold demeanor. She has bright pink eyes and silver hair usually tied back to keep it from being a nuisance. She prefers to wear more formal clothing like dresses often in darker color schemes like dark blues and purples, as well as black. Mochiko is of average height and weight for her age and gender with pale, clear skin. Despite having pale and clear skin Mochiko has a slight mostly unnoticeable blemish on her stomach just beneath her belly button likely from a surgery she had in the past judging by where it’s located and the color of it. The area around it is still a little tender if one could even get close enough to give it a good poke meaning the aforementioned surgery was probably recent.
Mochiko prefers keeping to herself, constantly in her own little world perpetually in deep thought. There’s always something going on in that head of hers and no one can tell if it’s worrisome or exciting as she only has two facial expressions: cold or pissed. She’s an intelligent girl in most areas, especially in science and machines. Most of her time is spent figuring out how to advance Earth’s technology even beyond just making androids capable of processing emotion even if only to a minor degree. Ideas for new things assault her constantly - which is more than likely why she always appears as if she’s thinking very deeply about something.
Backstory:
Mochiko was born into a wealthy family; people of all professions although her parents in particular were a scientist and mechanic which is where a portion of her inspiration to set out on the career path she is presently on came from. An above average IQ allowed her to plow through school like an angry saiyan through a brick wall, pretty much. She kept good grades and focused on her studies - though this and being pulled out of public school when she was a teenager took a toll on how she acted during social interactions.
Despite being a sheltered child for the latter half of her childhood and into early adulthood Mochiko took notice of how much Earth relied on those with natural talent in the usage of Ki and Martial Arts. She did not think of these martial artists as incapable defenders of the planet, but she also didn’t think they should be so heavily relied upon. She believed if a person couldn’t take a physical approach to defending their home, they should be able to take a mental one. More specifically, one that involved more intellect and diplomacy through word of mouth not the exchange of blows.
She was smart enough to know that not every conflict could be settled through sitting down and having a nice tea party, though. Sometimes war had to be used as an act of negotiation. One problem would still remain even if she could encourage more diplomatic approaches - humans weren’t the beefiest kids on the block.. Or in other words, not the most powerful species in the universe. Races like Saiyans and Brenchians progressed far faster than them in terms of physical strength. The humans needed something to stay caught up with the rest of the galaxy and sitting around enjoying the long-lasting peace by being (as she called it) lazy was not gonna get them anywhere near being equals. Or so she believed.
Thoughts such as this and encouragement from her family inspired her to study like crazy. Spending all her time reading and researching any form of science she could get her hands on. Despite being so cold and reserved, some part of her did care very deeply for her home planet and though she was no Martial Artist she still wanted to contribute in some way and to allow others like her to contribute as well. The money her family possessed could easily fund her efforts until she was able to produce her own funds. Her cold attitude would let her cross any moral boundaries she might come across with minimal regret, although she was still going to refrain from doing anything too explicitly harmful to the Earth. Though who's to say that same restraint would apply to other planets and races?
Mochiko’s very first creation on the road to enhancing Earth’s defenses and capabilities of defending itself was something of a prototype mech.. The first of many in line of what she planned to make. It took a lot of time and a lot of money but the end result was more than worth it. The mech was of a simple design, meant for speed with easy handling to make it very maneuverable. Knowing she could make something like that on her own and with minimal funding assured her that mass producing similar mechs of possibly simpler and sleeker designs would certainly be within Earth’s budget. There was not yet any telling if the simple mech could withstand a punch from an angry super saiyan as she didn’t have anything to simulate the force of such a strong punch, but for right now given the circumstances it was perfect. All she had to do was find a leading figure in Earth’s politics or defenses to show it to.

Roleplay Example:
Mochiko was up inside her mech with a sort of headset placed on her head over her eyes like a visor. Some cables came out the side and connected to a screen placed in front of her that usually let her see outside the face of the mech as it’s eyes acted as a camera. What she saw through the visor was a virtual simulation of West City, though it was slightly in ruin and there wasn’t any people to be seen. Down the street ahead of her and coming around the corner in flight was a very bland looking person that was most likely meant to resemble a crash-test dummy.
The dummy raised it’s hands towards Mochiko’s simulated mech and fired an energy beam. In response Mochiko had the mech raise it’s own hands placed out in front of it open palm as if trying to catch the blast. The blast connected with the simulated mech’s hands forcing it back a few feet but not knocking it down. After that, a glow resonated from the simulated mech’s palms and an energy beam was shot out of each one at the virtual opponent, and for a moment the opponent struggled against it but was inevitably shot out of the air and brought to the ground.
Now furrowing her brow determined to finish it, the simulated mech leapt into the air, bending one knee raising a foot up and bringing it down hard stomping on the virtual opponent causing it to disperse into a flurry of colorful pixels. Bright red words would then flash onto Mochiko’s screen, bold and in all caps: FINISH. Mochiko pulled the headset off her head, now back in reality where her real mech was completely still, still stuck in her garage. Letting out a sigh, Mochiko flipped a switch that opened up the back of the mecha’s torso and automatically her seat would turn around and allow her to hop out.
She hopped out just as expected of her and landed perfectly fine on the garage floor beneath her. After some time the opening in the back of the mecha’s torso would shut and the mech would shut off on it’s own. ‘That was the easiest difficulty, too..’ She thought to herself, feeling slightly disappointed. She did finish the exercise without taking any kind of damage, but she was disappointed because she always hesitated in upping the difficulty fearing she might fail exercises that should all be easy for her beloved creation.
