Name of NPC: Ayumi Mihashi
Race: Vampire
Level: 2
Physical Appearance:
A girl who attends a different school from Rukia, she seems to nearly always wear her uniform. The red armband was given to her as part of being a hall monitor, which she wears proudly even in the mansion, as it shows her status of being the leader of her group. When there's a guest around though, she wears a cloak with the armband still visible, seeing being apart of a group like this, to be like that of a cult. Even though most members are young and female.
Taking her job very seriously, although in a dramatic way, she is often seen with a frown that switches between surprise, from people not listening to her. Rarely is she seen upset, believing that protecting Rukia, and the rest of her servants, as more important than her own feelings.
History: Growing up as an only child, and often attending schools where there was a uniform policy, so long as she had gotten passing grades, her parents had gotten her whatever she wanted. With nothing to really do around the house, whenever she couldn't visit a friend, it was only television that kept her entertained and busy. Things like news reports were a favorite if they mentioned something supernatural, or her focus would otherwise be anime.
A place where the characters tended to get into abnormal situations, and faced off against supernatural things. They were a pleasure to watch, and being someone who had plenty of time for it, she was able to pick up some of the mannerisms. Characters of shows she watched tended to be confident, and as dramatic as some of the speeches tended to be, she found it cool the protagonists were able to get people to listen, with certain interruptions.
Behavior she practiced herself, and corrected, when it didn't go the way she had thought. The key, she had learned, was being expressive enough to have what she was saying, to be believable. What she didn't anticipate, was that people would get used to this behavior. Something like begging someone to help her, and welling up with tears, was expected and brought up to her. Though it was far from being something that she wanted to change about herself.
It still elicited the same reactions, and if anything, made it possible to manipulate others. Much like some of the shows she watched, or manga she came to read, as she had gotten older. What she noticed as time had gone on, was how the world seemed to be increasingly visited by those from outer space.
Visitors who unfortunately couldn't grant her extraordinary abilities, but were interesting nonetheless. It was a popular topic at school, although unlike those who worried about the danger, she wanted to see what they were able to do. Meeting them would only come after feeling that sort of thing was okay.
But as both a student, and only human, all she could really do was chat about this dream, with others that had similar interests. Having become leader of her school club, after the previous one had graduated, the direction she had taken the club, involved getting the input of the schools that were around them.
Maybe they were lucky enough to see what they were unable to do. The first meeting had been hosted at an internet cafe, where she met Hana Kuroda, as the sub-leader of her own club. Her school's actual leader, turned out to be sick, but perhaps that was fate. The two schools had exchanged information about what they had knew, getting together on reasonable days, since not everyone who was in the club, were the sort to really go outside after school.
One meeting in particular, had gone differently. Vampires were a species that most of their knowledge about them, they only knew from media. But going over the list of those they were interested in most, the other girl had brought in new information. Stuff like this group being able to shapeshift, wasn't a new idea, but what made it stuck out to her this day, was how specific it was. They also tended to list references for these reports, with only verification as an exception to this rule. That could only mean the girl had personal contact with a Vampire, which she had loudly accused, pointing fingers.
Hana didn't seem to be worried, so that ruled out mind control, since the girl was normally lazy. But it was obvious this addition meant something, and while the girl had admitted she was speaking the truth, she mentioned how a particular one had a certain schedule, one that was different from others.
It had taken weeks of waiting, but she had secured a meeting with Rukia, who decided to turn her into a Vampire, after going over several tests. Thankful of what she was able to do now, and seeing the girl as a source that could grant her even more, she sees Rukia as a queen of sorts, and devotes to helping her.
Since joining her cause, she has been active in finding ways to finance anything that those living in the mansion needs, along with helping recruit people willing to eventually become Vampires themselves. Not the most secret Vampire, with how she approaches this, but people are used to her talking nonsense. She and the wishful group that Rukia had assigned to her, usually stays in the mansion and watches it for any possible intruders, while she's away.

Name of NPC: Hana Kuroda
Race: Earthling
Level: 1
Physical Appearance:
A girl who is the sort of classmate that people are forced to sit next to, she has puffy eyes that are genetic, which gives off the impression that she is sleep-deprived. Although perversed and soft-spoken, when it comes to detailing reports of the more inhuman species that come to earth, it's quite clear she knows her stuff, and is perhaps the only time she tends to smile the most. Her decision to help Rukia, despite the risks, stems from a fantasy of hers.
Being the type to stay home rather than go out, she usually dresses in something simple enough to sleep in, and stays in her room when a guest comes over. Otherwise when she goes out, she can be seen wearing her school uniform, like Ayumi. Although only because anything else is too much of a bother.
History: Growing up in a household where her parents are too busy, and her little brother hogging the TV for himself, where else could she turn to but books? While a good mystery or romance novel could capture her interest, the genre of the supernatural had done a better job. Fascinated by how easy life could become, it was only the dilemmas the characters dealt with, which she found inconvenient, that made her want to desire such a life for herself.
Interesting to read, sure, and it had definitely eased her mind of any frustrations. But work hadn't been something she really liked doing, ever since her parents no longer woke her up for school, after being old enough to get up on her own. Why be forced to achieve so much, when she could go at her own pace?
Too much responsibility, and her little brother already annoyed her enough. This thinking wasn't too much different at school either. Work at school didn't take too long to accomplish. It was only when she had to be paired up with someone, that it took longer than she liked. She knew some people weren't the brightest, or would delay things through talking with those around them, rather than focusing on the work. Things that only made it more frustrating.
Only after she had been partnered up with Rukia, did she have a preferred partner to work with. The girl was the one who gave her advice, rather than the other way around, and in a way that was more helpful than annoying. They had similar interests in the supernatural, and the girl didn't seem to mind that she was soft-spoken. This was the kind of teamwork that took her years to find. And with the girl's help, she was able to relax a lot more in class.
What they didn't have in common, was the girl's interest in joining a club, which she had already partaken in herself. One that discussed the supernatural, and actively detailed any sightings. Most were too far and out of reach, though supposedly it was said there were Vampires that met up in the forest.
Whether or not the rumors were true, or had any conditions like a specific date, was questionable, but it didn't stop her from trying after finding out. Had these attempts not been at her own leisure, she likely would have given up coming to the same path everyday, only to get no results, and having to walk back.
But the wait and what hope she had after many tries, paid off. One afternoon that was transitioning to night, she had gone back to the path, and found herself walking into a circle of cloaked individuals. An issue with the path that she had taken, which blocked the normally empty view of this spot.
She was scared of course, since watching from a distance, would have been more comfortable than actually meeting them. But one of them had offered a chance to be a Vampire. There were no consequences to refusing, due to them having already gone through a monthly culling, so she was able to refuse without worry.
Though Rukia, the only friend she really had outside of club, had came to mind. The only worry was whether or not the girl would believe her, since she was the type to believe in reasoning and evidence. While thinking of an argument the next day, it had been the girl who had asked about her changed behavior.
She had still been happy since the discovery, and this interruption had her chance to just tell her everything. After the girl had became a Vampire, she took her own notes and observations, comparing them to what media had led them to believe about her new species, which she brought to light in her club.
Meeting Ayumi, and later convincing Rukia to be introduced, had gone a similar way. Her pride in knowing something Ayumi's other school didn't, led to being asked what was going on, although the girl couldn't meet Ayumi until much later. Now that the other girl was a Vampire, and got wrapped up into things she usually told of her, after getting back, it was only these stories that got her through the pain of working with those who were incompetent.
Since being invited to live with the girl at her mansion, she has helped Ayumi out in financing what they needed, and helping to supply food. She usually stays in the mansion, as part of the group of hopefuls, that Ayumi is usually in-charge of. Her blood is often taken the most by the Vampire.

Name of NPC: Yui Hikari
Race: Earthling
Level: 1
Physical Appearance:
A girl who tends to keep her hair dyed red, she is Rukia's cousin, and cares about what she wears a lot more than the Vampire does. Spoiled and dreaming of being a singer, she usually wears a frown with people who aren't related to her, and has no issues with treating most of the girl's servants as inferior.
Guests coming over does not at all change any of the official brands she usually wears, which any of them familiar with earth culture, would know is rather expensive. If anything, it gives the girl more reason to go and show off what she has, and establish proper behavior to everyone else who lives here.
History: Growing up, her family had lived around Rukia, and another cousin. They often went over each other's houses, and their parents always talked about how they were all going to be best friends. The amount of times they were told how important family was, really should have been something that annoyed her enough to distance herself from the two. But it hadn't. With how often the families had playdates, it was either getting along, or boredom.
Even back then, she was the one who decided what they were all going to do, and if it wasn't agreeable, she would successfully be the one to convince them otherwise. Neither of the two really went against her word however, and her life was pretty content for the most part. She got to be the one to lead them around, and often had things they didn't. But one thing she couldn't stop, was when either of the two brought up different things to talk about.
Rukia often brought up sightings of the supernatural, and argued with their other cousin about how although it was interesting, it was dangerous. Something that he disagreed with, though they knew full well he was the type to run away, should he ever have the opportunity to meet that kind of danger.
She didn't find these discussions particularly interesting, and it was only her enjoyment of saying something was stupid, that got her through it. Long conversations wasn't something she cared for, and when their other cousin had moved away, it wasn't really around anymore either. Rukia understood it would be a bother to do so otherwise, and entertained her in what she wanted to do or talk about, because it was the usual. Even though she wasn't interested.
It was difficult not to feel bad about that, especially since now it was just them alone. So occasionally, she would listen to the girl herself, and allow her to decide what they should do. As they got older, and found different social groups, this relationship between them didn't go and change at all.
Though seeing the kind of bookworm the girl had become, she did suggest it should be changed. Later finding out the girl had become a Vampire, she had been fully supported and accepting of this change, not even phased a bit, already knowing how the girl was when it came to admiring the supernatural.
But this was an opportunity to show the girl how to do things the right way. She taught the girl how to speak like her, and to ignore the feelings of others, excluding those she trusted, like family. It had been a lot of work, and her own time had been put aside for it, but this was the chance for them to have more interests than they had before. Lots of comparisons had been made to media Vampires, which had been more than enough reasoning to follow her word.
Her cousin might have now been a killer, with this kind of power of hers, but she was still the same on the inside. There was just so much proof of that lying around, and easily being able to tease the girl, same as they had when they were kids. Since being invited to live with the girl in her mansion, which her cousin had neglected to tell her about, she acts as the real leader of these Vampire hopefuls, training them to think and act the same way that she does.
It's an agonizingly slow process, but she enjoys being able to boss them around, and treating servants like Maiz as the creatures they really are.

Name of NPC: Mayu Akane
Race: Earthling
Level: 1
Physical Appearance:
A girl who since moving into the mansion, is usually seen wearing either a maid outfit, or an apron over her clothes. Contrary to both outfits, which can be seen as rather confident, she is actually shy, and requires the encouragement of her best friend to really go and say what's on her mind. This choice of apparel only adds a chef's hat to the latter outfit, whenever a guest is coming over. Times where she feels comfortable enough to stick around a bit longer.
History: Growing up in a conservative household, and attending a conservative school, one would assume she didn't know what she was missing. But she was very aware there were plenty of things she didn't know about the world, from hearing conversations of classmates, who had relatives who went to normal schools. Though curious, she felt bad about what she learned, and often went to confession, speaking about everything that she had heard.
The priest being a family friend, had always told her parents everything, who had subtly questioned her about what she learned, and every time she was honest about what she overheard. Although clearly apologetic, she had still been sent to recite what she was taught in schools, and did so, ashamed.
But these were times where she questioned if what she heard was really wrong, only to regret this thinking, and recite more than was ask of her. Life at home, and friends she visited, were only those her mother had approved of, where she secretly prayed that none of these would be like those other classmates.
This however, was wishful thinking. More than once, she had learned something new, and gone to confess to her mother, which ended the relationship. These were bonds that she had formed, which were lost, and it eventually became expected for her to lose them again. Thinking that had her continue reciting what she was taught in school, without having to even be asked. Again, she had gone and wished for a friend she could keep, which was a cry that was answered.
Though it wasn't immediate. Weeks after adjusting, and having stayed only at home for at least a good month, a new family had moved into the neighborhood, bringing along a new classmate. One that had been quick to warm up to her, noticing when she was down, and often encouraging during choir practice.
With time, even her mother trusted the girl and her family enough, where they truly did remain friends, longer than any friendship she ever made before. But there was something she didn't notice about the girl, until it had been too late. After walking home from school, they were approached by a girl who introduced herself as Ayumi, and offered to change their lives with just one quick process. This offer had revealed that Asuka, was one to take risks.
All the times that they had volunteered, either for choir practice, or answering questions in general, had been because she was thrilled by taking the road less traveled by. And accepting the chance to become a Vampire, was the biggest thing that the girl could possibly ever do. Encouraged by the girl like all of their other times, and not being one to really disagree, she had accepted. But there was a condition that had been left out of this process.
That it would take years to do, as Rukia only needed them as a blood bank, and that they would have to live in the mansion. Which would mean be reporting missing by their families, just like most of the servants she had living with her. People who had no reason to really stay with their families, or wanted to escape. Something that caused her to panic at first, enough to break down and cry, before being comforted by most of the humans already living here.
It meant a lot more, coming from Asuka though. Since joining Rukia's cause, she had learned a lot more than she ever could, with the kind of similar, but different backgrounds the people here had. Alongside Asuka, she also often cleaned up and cooked for the place, helping to restock supplies as well.

Name of NPC: Asuka Tsukino
Race: Earthling
Level: 1
Physical Appearance:
A girl who tends to wear her school uniform, she is polite and encouraging, not bothered at all by some people's behavior, although is concerned when it's something that doesn't stop. When a guest is over, she happily accepts the dresses that are offered to her, thankful they care enough to do so.
History: Growing up, she attended a conservative school, and although her family were pretty lenient, they were still different than other families. Her parents wanted to raise her right, but also have enough knowledge not to be ignorant. Difficult, seeing as how certain things could be offensive, to the more conservative families that they interacted with in church. Although it wasn't anything that she had mind, being rather content with even having friends.
Not all of the families they had met had been that strict thankfully, and what life was like in other schools, was a conversation she often had. What saddened her though, was how there were families out there, with kids who couldn't experience the same knowledge or enjoyment. While she knew that prayers were so often unanswered, save for maybe the simplest things that could have been coincidences, she did so anyway, forgetting as time had went on.
Life was really content for her, and while she had been considerate in acting differently to certain families, the thought of having to lie, was enough to give her chills. Though she knew when lying was appropriate, and when it wasn't. The thought might have been entertaining, but she was still respectful.
When her family to go and move, it hadn't become apparent at first, this was what she had been asking for. She was more excited about going somewhere new, and making new friends, sad as it was to only be able to call her old ones. But after joining her new school, it became obvious after meeting Mayu.
The girl was apart of one of those strict households, and seeing both how shy the girl was, and how often she stayed back for confessions, she couldn't help but to see her as the younger sister she never had. They warmed up to each other pretty quickly, and she often encouraged the girl to be braver.
Together, they had often done things most would be afraid of doing, for fear of being wrong, or just stage fright. A lot of talking and comforting had to be done to get the girl to go along with it, praising when she had. Unlike her, this was just another thrill of hers to do, taking the road less traveled by.
Walking home one day after school, and being approached with an offer of changing her life, after further clarification it would mean turning into a Vampire, she didn't hesitate to agree. Such a chance wasn't something that was an everyday thing, and one that she had to explain to the other girl.
It might have been a strange offer, and while she did know there was a chance it could have all been just a lie, accepting the offer in the first place, would likely be the biggest thing she would ever do. Something that would affect her life for the better, should it really be a true offer.
But this wasn't an offer she could really accept alone. With the faith that this offer was true, this meant an opportunity to lead her friend to having a better and happier life. One that didn't need to be filled with such sadness or disappointment, which the girl was likely already used to feeling.
Accepting the offer, and being led by such speed and strength, she couldn't have been any happier. The further conditions to this offer though, she knew to be unfair, since it required leaving behind family. While it wasn't said there couldn't have still been contact, which was what had her continue to go along with the offer, not that she really had a choice at this point, she knew that Mayu wouldn't feel the same. The comfort she gave the girl, was different than any others she had been given. Appropriately so, since this was a big decision that the girl would be making on her own, rather than her parent's judgment.
She confessed to her how much she had cared for her, and all of the times she had taken notice of how sad the girl had really been, since getting to know her. A lot points had been given to make the girl realize this would be better for her, and that she would be the one to protect her from any danger.
This wouldn't be a change that the girl would go through alone. She would be there for her friend, no matter what, and while not everyone in this household were polite, the ones that were also cared about making this decision comfortable. The girl would be a better person from this, given the time to change.
That was how much she believed in the girl. Since joining Rukia's cause, she had helped her friend with the cleaning and cooking, while also being one of the people who helped restock supplies. Sticking besides Mayu by glue, she also wasn't afraid to stand up to servants like Maiz, when it came to the girl.
