Using Jie Shan's mansion.
Jie Shan Lan Dian was now, at least in spirit, an Earthling. The man had spent many months on the planet now, far from his harsh home among the stars. The young hybrid had even managed to make a home on the planet Earth: he’d acquired land in the north, a small mountain and the surrounding area and had built his home into it. It had become the spiritual successor to the Lan Dian compound on the Planet Natto, and it did not take long for Jie Shan to order his own possessions moved here, as well as his personal staff: Rudieri and his gravity chamber had been the first to make the move. In addition, he’d pulled some strings and had had his old squad transfered to his command and brought to the Planet Earth to be apart of his personal household. They could call him sentimental, and he’d shrug it off, but truly, they were the only family that the young Saiyan halfblood had.
But that was not all the young Super Saiyan had done. While it had always been an idea that he had fancied in the back of his head, Jie Shan had often thought to codify and formalize his fighting style as a proper martial arts school and to develop his techniques to a fine point, just as the Soy School had done. So, it was with some childlike glee that Jie Shan had built a proper dojo into his home and begun work to make his fighting style something worthy of being called an art.
And so it was today that Jie Shan found himself in the newly minted dojo, simple white gi and pants adorning his body. The Saiyan-Elemi hybrid seemed to be in a trance as he circled about his dojo, taking careful and graceful steps as his heirloom jian cut gently through the air, as if it were made of something lighter than space-grade steel. The blade was an extension of his body, it had been for years. It was like another limb, almost like that of his prehensile Saiyan tail; a proper part of his biology. The weight of a blade felt right in his hand, and it was a strange sensation to step back in his mind and think on his art. It was like those moments when one began to ponder their own biology, like when it is pointed out that one is breathing and suddenly made aware of the movement of their own lungs.
Where to begin with the formal mastery of his style? Well, the Saiyan had already identified the two key parts of his fighting: the use of a blade and the use of lightning, both gifts from his mother. Already, the man had set down the basics. His Stormbreaker was going to be the cornerstone of the school, much like it formed the foundation of his own combat prowess. But he needed something more, another skill to round out the basics. Perhaps he ought to address the idea of being bladeless?
Yes, that seemed wise. Taking one hand from the hilt, Jie Shan held it out to the side and passed a current through it, ki-lightning jumping into his hand as a response. Moving fluidly and quickly, Jie Shan thrust his hand forward, swooping his body around, moving circular like an arc of lightning. The lightning passed harmlessly through his hand and harmlessly into the air, floating like a gentle, electric butterfly. But Jie Shan knew well enough what happened when one messed with the power of the storm; they ended up thunderstruck. A simple touch would be enough to harm most foes with this basic strike.
Nodding to himself, Jie Shan felt satisfied. The blademaster would have to record these thoughts properly in a book, or even something more modern like a digital document, but he’d made decent progress in beginning to make something formal out of his previously unrecorded style.
Starting to officially master Jie's school, the Lightning Blade Arts. Requesting to have the first tier of that officially added, thank you! Also, I'd like PL for this with LMB, Mansion, and half-Elemi bonuses, thank you!
