Coming back here was a pleasure.
It had taken months of work, but a great portion of her plans had been complete. The three loyal allies she wanted to gather, who would go on and serve as her bodyguards, were beings who she had met all over the region, and possessed a variety of skills she would need in the future. What personal servants she had gathered to stay within the mansion, allowing most of her allies to come with her, were in charge of finances and restocking supplies. A group who were mostly all human, minus the leader.
With this little army of hers gathered together, and would only continue to grow as she gathered more resources, the only thing left for her to do, is to keep growing in power. A much longer process than gathering allies or minions, but was one that some would say was endless. So long as she had the time, and could put in the work, this new goal of hers could be done. Though finding a good challenge would certainly be something she would go on and find to be increasingly difficult, as she did grow.
Out of everyone she had invited to her mansion, there were only about two that she had taken a real liking to. The first had been a Namekian by the name of Piyano, who for the most part, showed both intelligence, and the right amount of submissiveness. His downfall however, was that he and his culture were too good to fit into her plans.
The sort who would stop her or any allies from killing, just to go and gain the kind of power she desired. She had let him off the respectful way he had left, though she knew that if they had ever crossed paths again, she would treat him like anyone else she saw as below her. For the memory however, he at least deserved being toyed with.
While the last that had gained her favor, had been a hybrid by the name of Duvainel, who just seemed so human, despite the mix of DNA in her body. Honest, a talker of the right amount, and skillful. Never had she met someone who seemed to be so full of life, and although the other girl was more cheerful, they had some like-mindedness.
She would happily say they were on good-terms, but privacy, or at least the lack of restraint, was the downfall for the pinkette. It was true that she didn't care for subjects that didn't benefit her, but she wasn't opposed to learning, especially when she had a long life ahead of her. Being honest was appreciated, though it was questionable in the long run, of how detrimental it could be, just having someone around like that. There was a reason she hadn't allowed her friends to live with her.
They were the sort you needed space from after awhile, and with the kind of goals that she was aiming for, watching over someone wasn't the kind of time she had or needed. Duvainel gave her that sense of familiarity, and that kind of human feeling, was one that she would rather continue to avoid. The girl was happily welcomed to spar though.
Coming back here to East City, had been a choice to travel through places she had been before, in the hopes of meeting new beings and challenges. The whole beacon technique had been working for the most part, in that it had her meeting new people, but none of them had really came to her intentionally. Martial arts and the use of ki were popular enough to make its way into society, so it was amazing there didn't seem to be anyone particularly interested, or were at least capable, of matching her.
Still, if she had wanted to give up a live normal life, it was too late to do so. Both her minions and allies were pretty much expectant of her now, seeing how capable she was of making the mansion a lot more lively, and less empty. Even her cousin was willing to follow her around, and the red-head had made it known she supported her.
With this kind of new weight on her shoulders, she could only hope that things continued to prosper for her. Leaving the mansion and entering within the city, her apparel was what you would expect to see from a girl her age, yet did make the effort into dressing well. The gray skirt she had, was a lot nicer than any of the school uniforms she usually wore, and did a good job with buckling her shirt from flying out underneath it. While thigh high stockings reached up to protect what breeze would past by.
For someone who fought as often as she did, her outfit had to be secure, and at least somewhat durable against the speed she usually went at. As she touched one of the entrance points of the city, her true strength was at its highest, without any of the extra effort that came with being in the heat of an intense battle.
Focusing on her legs, she had moved across the city, far faster than most humans could possibly hope to follow. It wasn't enough for those with a trained eye not to see, but this wasn't the fastest that she could truly go. Reserves of energy that shouldn't be used for bait. Though whether at base speed, or her true one, the only being that had ever came close to matching her, was her last ally, a Supidoan. The speed in his genes just seemed to be something she could only push by through her own efforts alone, and an ever so increase in power. It was both infuriating, and admiring that someone from space, could take the title she wanted her own kin to possess one day.
As her breathing started to quicken, and she fell into the routine of hiding behind buildings to catch her breath, the power that she had allowed to let the city feel, would steadily start to decrease. A timer of sorts for anyone capable of interest, to go and wonder with this kind of strength, what she would do with it, if anything.
She would be trying to steady her breathing, by the time she had lowered her strength down, to that of an average human. Even so, it should have been obvious that she was the one who caused what surprise she had left on the city. This was far from being something the inhabitants here were unfamiliar with, as there had likely been others in the past, who have been much stronger. Though her own presence was focused more on making it known through a run around the city, rather than destruction some were used to.
She knew far well enough that she would need a much bigger army to do that sort of thing.
