Taido stands at 152.5cm, or 5'0". The average height for city-dwelling youngsters, Taido sports a thick head of spiky hair parted down the center. Taido's skin is a fair tanned color, a mix of his father's darker skin and his mother's lighter skin swirled into a pleasing beige.
The young halfling sports a red gi with a black long sleeve shirt beneath his gi coat. Not belonging to any particular dojo, he chooses to wear this outfit when fighting or practicing his skills in combat against adults and other children alike. Otherwise, Tai chooses to wear casual clothing. Mostly consisting of a turquoise, sleeveless hoodie with a black Z printed on the chest, a long sleeve shirt underneath. Tan cargo shorts worn on his legs to match it, as well as black and white sneakers on each foot. On each wrist, a wristband colored blue. On sunny days or just whenever he feels like it, he'll add a yellow cap to his outfit.
Backstory:
The age is 1578.
A child is born between two unlikely parents: A Saiyan by the name of Cauli and an Elemi by the name of Maggy. The infant's father and mother respectively. The night a rather busy one, as Maggy gives birth to a healthy hybrid dubbed Taido Mei. An Earthling surname with an Elemian primary name. Fitting for the infant, as his gift from the nature gods was water. Odd, considering his mother's alignment with flames, but even then. Perhaps a recessive gene had been awakened and made dominant in the child.
A stable relationship unlike most was created and lead to a even raising of the infant. Tai growing from a loud, screaming baby into a curious toddler. His inquisitive demeanor nurtured and permitted to grow by his mother and father’s combined support. Flights and exploration trips conducted every other weekend with his parents, Tai was a very happy child. Though young, he had learned the world like the back of his hand. He felt as though he knew everything to know about his home world. But, keep in mind he was a very young kid. And as many did, they oft thought they knew everything about everything. Nevertheless, things seemed to be going swimmingly. A happy life for a happy toddler.
Things seemed to continue this way until Tai reached the age of nine. Things were beginning to level. As most went through life, Tai was permitted to become more mature and age a bit faster physically than most due to the combination of Elemi and Saiyan genes. Now he was a bit more understanding of things. Realizing he was made of two strong parents, Taido swelled with a sense of pride. Not a blinding amount, but enough to strive for excellence. For his father and mother's sake. Tai began engaging in martial art tournaments, Tai made enemies with weaker foes who boiled with hate from losing to a mere child.
A year of this had surmised in the death of his parents. As Taido had defeated a particularly powerful alien fighter, a Demon who had lost his temper and took his immense rage out on the kid’s folks. A swift death falling onto them by a powerful blast of Ki. A traumatic event to witness, especially by the eyes of a mere ten year old. It seemed the Saiyan genes within the boy had awoken here. As Tai uttered a deafening scream of anguish and hate. His power surging dramatically and a new form unlocked before his very eyes. His rage culminating into a super form. The boy destroying the demon before taking refuge and choosing to live with a familial friend, a woman by the name of Hsien. A wonderful woman who aided in a recovery for the child. Two years letting him regain his childhood and calm.
And now he's here. Living his life and looking to excel further, to make his folks in the Otherworld proud.

"Errands..uhh.."
Taido, the hero of our story, was out and about West City today. A slip of paper clutched in his hand with a list of things he was sent out to buy for Aunt Hsien. Reluctant, he had taken up the task out of promise for new video games and possible figurines. That lady sure knew the way to his heart. A defeated sigh left the youngster's lips as he found himself in the large city. Several stores scattered about for him to enter and scavenge around for the needed items on his list. Of course, the appropriate amount of Zeni was entrusted to him, a fair five hundred zeni. Enough to buy groceries and maybe a candy bar if he found enough items on sale or something like that. As the young boy walked around, he shoved his hands into his pockets. The cap on his head twisted to face the back of him for the sake of style. His eyes darting about, searching for the first spot on his list. "What'd she write here? Gah, darn it, lady! You put like three hundred things here!" Taido complained, exaggerating greatly. Multiplying the three stores on the list by one hundred. The hafling shaking his head before squinting his eyes and reading out the words, 'Big Mouth' from the paper.
He was in luck, as the shop was just a few feet away from him. Shrugging, Taido walked a little faster and strolled right into the sandwich shop. The kid scratching behind his ear as he caught the attention of an adult and asked where the bread and such was at. Politely pointed to the correct direction, he thanked the manager and gathered a bunch of items into his arms. White bread, rolls, ham, cheese, the works. Hsien probably put it on the list for whenever he got home and was hungry and she couldn't cook. Thinking nothing of it, Taido had made his purchase and exited the shop, two bags hanging from his wrists. "Next," He said, retrieving the now folded up paper from his pocket and reading, "Doc Vinyl. Ain't that a music place?" A confused look was drawn on the youngster's face. But, yet again, he thought nothing of it and proceeded to walk over and enter the shop. To his surprise, it was not only a music spot, but also a pharmacy. "Guess that explains the 'Doc' part, hehe." He chuckled to himself. From what he read, he had to pick up a few vinyls and a bottle of medicine. He had taken to walking around each aisle, leisurely gazing at everything and swiping up what he was asked of. "'Kay, got the music. Eyes of the Lion and some song I can't read 'cause it's in some other language. How the heck is Hsien gonna understand this?" It seemed like for a kid, Taido had a lot of questions. The medicine came next, as all he was asked of to get was some cold and flu medicine. It was that time of year, sure, but West City never got too cold. Still, couldn't be too safe. It took a little negotiating, but he eventually made off with his purchases. The manager of Doc Vinyl's giving him a hard time because he was a twelve hear old buying technical drugs. The conversation between the two pretty funny. Mostly consisting of them going back and forth.
"C'moooon!"
"No! You need an adult!"
"C'mon, maaan! Its not even for me, its for my aunt!"
"I dont care, kid! Do you have a job? No, so you dont know how much trouble I can get in!"
"Okay, okay!" A small silence running before Taido quietly said, "What if I slip you twenty bucks?"
The annoyed clerk did eventually cave before letting him go. Best part being, he didn't even take the twenty Zeni!
Pleased with himself, Tai continued his errands. "Umm...next is West City Department Store. Sheesh, talk about open ended." The kid chuckled and carried on. Shoving the paper into his pocket nonchalantly before entering the general store. This time, he just had to grab basic groceries. More than just sandwich materials. Zipping about, Taido found himself balancing a mountain of food items before a clerk. In his arms: A variety of meats, bags of rice slung over his shoulder, vegetables, fruits, and many more essentials. The payment process annoyingly slow, however, as his clerk was an elderly citizen of West City. He knew he couldn't complain but jeez! What like a hundred years was only fifteen minutes. Taido actually rubbing his chin to make sure he hadn't grown a beard. Thanking his clerk, he zoomed out. Now a number of bags hanging from his wrists. He took off into the skies, bursting back into the suburbs he and his aunt took to living in. A job well done, he placed everything down and did what he normally did after doing chores.
He plopped down in front of the television in the living room and began playing his Capsule Corp Genesis.
