Artikone looked up at the bright, orange sky when she woke up. She let out a loud yawn that could be heard from a mile away. She looked around and didn't seem to find anything around her that peaked her interest (not that there would be anything that would grab her attention anymore.) She picked herself up and stared out at the sunrise. She was not quite as bitter about being stuck here as she did when she arrived, but even so, she crossed her arms and looked bitterly at the sight that was in front of her. She saw nothing in what she saw, and now began to collect herself and see what the rest of this planet had to offer other than a light show of such a low degree.
You can't admire something beautiful when you've seen so much carnage.
Artikone looked at the group of logs that was once her fire, now a pile of soot on top of half-burnt logs. She didn't give it much of a thought as she walked over it and began to trudge through the deep bamboo forest again. From time to time, she would snap a piece of bamboo to munch on. She had became addicted to the green stump at this point.
She eventually got to the outside. It was refreshing to get out of such a confined space, but she would miss her night there and the amount of food it gave her to fill the chamber she called her stomach. She might visit again once she was able to bash down all of the other fighters on this planet.
She wondered where that hybrid Marcel went off to. She thought he would be back in the forest. He was a very odd fellow, being of a demon heritage as well as a Saiyans. The thought had caused her dreams that she could not recollect at this very moment. Still, he was someone special. But, like Marcel said, so was she.
While she was staying the night in the forest, she trained herself to sense ki, which seemed very difficult at first. She stayed up for about an hour until she got it, and when she did figure it out, it was the most satisfying thing since learning how to fly. She was exhausted from training herself that night, because she not only trained herself to sense ki, but also trained herself to become a little stronger. It did pay off some, but she was barely above the level of a low-class Saiyan. A Saiyan elite could easily kick her ass if they wanted to. But soon, Saiyan elites would be the one to bow to her strength. They will bow to a superior. They will bow to a Super Saiyan.
She waited ouyside the forest, trying to concentrate and sense his ki. She was still new to this and was still struggling to search anyone's ki. She kept her eyes on the forest and closed her eyes, trying to detect the Halfbreed she had seen the night before.
