A knock at the door of their cottage could be heard, and Suusao was sound asleep on the couch shirtless in his pajamas. Kinko awoke sitting up on her knees on a queen sized bed, and rubbed her eyes softly. The rapping on the door could still be heard, and Suusao still was immobile drooling on the couch. Kinko came from around the corner to see the site, and decided to leave the boy asleep. The knocking on the door intensified as if the person on the other side needed the door to be opened immediately. Kinko scurried to open the door quickly as possible, only to find out it was the mayor of the town. The last time she’d seen him was upon their arrival in the quaint village, and he had a disturbing look on his face. Something grave had transpired during the night, and it would more than likely require Suusao doing the mayor a favor.
“Good morning Kinko. I’m sorry for calling you up this early, although a problem has arose; one which must be dealt with immediately! I must speak of an urgent matter with you and young Suusao. The village has been under siege by a robotic terror since this morn! I did the best I could with getting as many citizens out of the village, but what kind of mayor would I be if I did not protect my people. Please Ms.Kinko we need you and Suusao...please save Jingle Village!”
Kinko bowed to the mayor and walked him over into the kitchen area, and pulled out a chair for him at the table. Putting some tea on the stove she looked over to the living area, and found that Suusao was missing but left his headband. Something that was very rare to see, and she couldn’t remember a time she’d never seen him without it. She’d took a seat with the Mayor trying to comfort the distressed politician. In the back of her mind was the thought of Suusao hoping for his success in defeating this threat once and for all.
The sun had just peaked over the horizon, and was immediately covered up by a pair of grey clouds carried by a frozen gust. Cold and ominous a perfect way to describe the air, the clouds foretold a storm approaching. After a few moments had passed Suusao stopped above to see the destruction that was laid upon the village. Gazing his crystal blue eyes across the plains, his dark blue hair whipped by the razor chilling wind, and his nose red as ember. Suusao could see that most of the village was being razed and pillaged by the automated army.
This would prove to be a difficult assignment for Suusao to say the least, and the blistering cold made it hard for his concentration. Not that he hadn’t been used to the cold now, but the weather just made things uncomfortable for him. Suusao let out a soft sigh as his breath froze in the air, and began to charge his ki before touching down in the center of the village. Upon his descent he felt the bitter cold biting his cheeks. Looking about the village it seemed the attack was meant to draw him out of hiding, as cracked his knuckles when he became the new objective of the robot pillagers.
Taking a defensive stance he readied himself for the onslaught of robots, and was engaged non-stop. The bots leaped on him piling up on him one after the other, and a blinding light appeared within blowing away the pile. Parts and circuitry flying everywhere he’d adorned a menacing look on his face, and he could hear the sound of boots making soft thuds. Suusao turned around hoping for the assailant to be in view, but as quickly as he turned his back he was knocked forward. Caught off guard he tumbled a few meters, and caught a glimpse of the attacker.
Before he stood up he could feel his hair being pulled, and his body was lifted upwards eye-level with something.
Suusao smirked as he looked down at the figure, and blood trailed down the side of his mouth, “Please Sir...May I have another.” This cockiness came from him being in a situation where his strength would finally be challenged. He was caught off guard when the figure before him spoke in a mechanical automated like voice, and he was sure now that this was an assailant from the lab. Possibly the one responsible for creating the robots that had been trying their hardest to capture him. “I have finally come for you. Yukimura. Suusao.”
The droid wore a dome helmet glowing a bright turquoise, and a black hexagonal pattern across the glass portion. His assailant wore an obsidian metal chest plate greaves, and gauntlets. Suutei looked down, noticing he was wearing some sort of mark or cape hanging from his waist. Suutei could not see through his helmet, but was sure there was nothing there. The android clenched it’s cold steel hands around his neck, and he struggled to break free of it’s grip. Suddenly the droid turned it’s head in the direction Suusao travelled from. Flinging the boy towards a flaming house he winced in pain, and the house fell on top of him. The android held out it’s hand gripping the energy wave into the palm of it’s hand, and it almost appeared to crush it into nothing.
When the dust settled he looked upon the origin direction of the ki blast, and found a teenage girl with a serious look on her face. The girl took a defensive stance as she waited for the Android to engage her in combat, and which he did with alarming speed. The two of them went at it blow for blow, but the android was able to get the upper hand. It’s helmet produced a bright light which disoriented the girl, and caused her to lose her focus. The android threw a focused punch into the girl’s abdomen, and the girl coughed blood along with a loud croak.
Suusao crawled out of the rubble of the house, and witnessed the moment Kinko had been defeated within one hit. He could still sense her energy and he knew that she wasn’t dying, but he wouldn’t let this go by with him hurting his friend. Powering himself up to the very limit he conjured two spears before him, and as he grabbed both he flew forward at a high velocity. Engaging with the droid similar to Kinko, but this time it truly was even sided. Falling back from his enemy by flying upwards at an angle, he quickly chucked both spears at the android. Unintimidated by the attack the android raised it’s hand, but instead of the effect it had on Kinko’s energy wave both spears went through it’s hand and shoulder. Pinning the cyborg to the ground unable to remove the spears Suusao flew down at a high speed, and with both legs together he’d stomped on the helmet of the Android.
An irritating sound emitted from the headless mechanical menace, and an explosion shortly followed sending him flying. Nearly unaffected with his jacket torn to bits, and his pants ripped slightly. He’d fallen to his knees in front of an unconscious Kinko, and as a single tear rolled down his cheek a flake of snow fell. Kinko’s eyes slowly opened to meet those of Suusao’s, and her heart pounded within her chest. Suusao with light bruising across his face, and battle worn, smiled at her. It appeared they had finally put an end to the madness that was from the laboratory, and the boy took her in his arms as they set off for their cottage.
Suusao and Kinko arrived at the front door and before he reached for the doorknob, the mayor had whipped the door open with urgency. Obviously expecting a status report on what transpired back in the village. “Well did you stop them!? Did you get rid of all those robots!? Oh and what has become of miss Kinko?!” Suusao laid his friend on the couch and before addressing the mayor, he tied around his headband. “That’ll be the last you or I see of those robots. You can count on it mayor.” Giving a thumbs up the mayor fell back into a lounge chair relieved, and Suusao smiled to his companion as a way to thank her for her help. "You did a good job...*cough*...I'm proud Suusao."
