"Hello Everyone and welcome to the first World Martial Arts tournament! If you're here in the stands today that means you got some advanced tickets to the event, congrats! All through this week, our participants will be warming up and getting ready for the tournament. They'll be using this ring for their practice matches or their training so please feel free to come and watch them!
Our vendors and food trucks are also open throughout the week so please make sure to help yourselves. We've got several fun games placed around the tournament as well for your enjoyment while we get organized and set up!
The official start date of the preliminaries will be Saturday February 4th, so make sure you're ready! our participants will be given 1 week to complete their combat threads with their opponents before a winner is declared... but we'll go over all of those rules when the tournament officially starts! For now why don't you just relax and have fun here on the island!
Participants, please make sure to visit the tournament administrators to be given your accommodations! I look forward to the events, don't you!?"
NOTE: Everyone participating in the tournament has a few days to be social on tournament island, so feel free to create open threads or interact with anyone while you wait until Saturday for the main event!
