Whilst her sister did what she needed to do in town, get supplies, maybe a decent map for once, Cambia wandered the streets in her casual attire of red leather jacket, black tube top, blue booty shorts and black combat boots. She doubted she'd get into much trouble just walking around... she'd even promised to not visit any of the bars in town either, so even less chance for her to get her doppelganger of an older sister into trouble with the locals. Although the thought had crossed her mind. Now that they'd actually reached a town though, she was glad to see humans for once. The last few days had been nothing but Saiyans, Saiyans and more Saiyans which honestly... was just annoying as all hell.
Didn't help that they'd all been male Saiyans as well. Whilst a couple were cute, they had all pretty much exhibited the same damn mental trope. They were all angry egotistical arrogant meat heads. Well, three out of four of them had been, which didn't really paint very good odds for half of her genetic heritage. Cambia sighed as she leaned up against a wall and pulled out her flask from her jacket pocket. "What the hell kinda deal did mum get out of screwing with one of them?" she muttered before she took a drink from her flask.
The hybrid sighed when a trio of middle to old aged men came up to her. Before they could open their mouths she held up five fingers. "That much each, with that many zeroes at the end of them." she said, smirking as they wandered off grumbling to themselves. Whilst she could follow Atsuko's advice and try to dress a little more modestly, it gave her a bit of pleasure to know that she was causing misery for random males by blue-balling them with her "prices". She chuckled before taking another drink from her flask. "It's the simple things in life you gotta enjoy." the hybrid said to herself.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Athren had found himself in quite the unusual place today, he was out in a town looking for supplies. He wanted to fill his ship up with supplies for a long term session away from the Earth, of course he wasn't having the best time doing the shopping himself. It wasn't exactly his thing. He'd much rather have somebody do it for him but clearly that wasn't an option. As Athren wandered the town he became to get more and more annoyed with the dense population. How could people live like that? Athren wasn't one for it, in fact. He didn't like it at all. Luckily, he didn't have to live like that. As the young saiyan warrior wandered around the town his ocean blue eyes had landed on a familiar face. It was the woman that had been with Atsuko the other day, though.. he couldn't remember her name. He recalled she had more spice to her than her eldest sister, Athren wouldn't mind attempting to get to know her a little bit.
Deciding to approach Athren took his time, as he neared her he saw three men began to walk towards her as well. During this time Athren was close enough to hear the exchange quite clearly. Athren leaned his back up against the wall and crossed his arms in front of his chest. Currently, His scouter had the woman's power level upon the screen. Athren's attire was the usual, currently he had his heavy weighted gear on. His usual outfit, he didn't change much from that colour scheme. It was one he had always preferred.
He listened to Cambia's words, they had been quite amusing yet they sent the three men off in a hurry. Athren couldn't help but arch a brow curiously. Was she joking with her price or was she serious? Whether or not she was joking, Athren couldn't help but mark quite the statement. "Isn't that a little low?" Athren paused for a moment as his ocean blue eyes scanned the woman from head to toe. "For a woman with your features, I wouldn't hesitate to double your request." With that being said Athren would've smirked lightly, he would've went quiet to allow her to speak her mind. Word Count: 375 Heavy Weights Equipped
She turned her gaze to the voice, raising an eyebrow as it was the Saiyan from the other night. She shrugged. "Its high enough to get pigs to leave me alone. Plus it's amusing to watch their faces contort and twist as they realise they can't get what they want." said the hybrid with a smirk. When he offered to pay double the price she'd told the men she couldn't help but chuckle.
"I don't doubt you would, which is why if I was being serious about this, I'd be asking for triple of that double." she said as she stepped off the wall and walked up towards him. Once she reached him, she went to walk her fingers up his chest towards his chin before trying to give it a little flick. "Like I said, I enjoy watching men squirm when they can't get what they want." Cambia smirked, even more so as a thought came to her mind. "Although I do have to ask... would you just be trying to bed me, because I look so much like my pure sweet older sister?"
The half demon half saiyan tried to poke him on the nose with the last word before chuckling. "Do have to wonder, how ever did you two meet anyway in the first place?" she asked as she tried to walk back to the wall to lean against it once more. "Can't imagine it was a pleasant first meeting, given your very different personalities Mister Grumpy." the younger sister asked of the male.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
As she peered upon him Athren noticed that she had raised her eyebrow. It was almost in the same method he had usually done. She then began to speak of how her prices keep pigs away from her, surely this was true but muscle and power was capable of doing that as well. She then went to tell him that she was amused with their reactions when they couldn't get what they want. "I suppose you're right, though you could just kill them. They'd leave you alone then" She chuckled slightly to Athren's words prior. Seriously? She wasn't happy with double? Of course, he wasn't being serious himself. Though, He wouldn't mind getting her alone. That was for another day though.
She had spoke up about her true price as she began to walk towards him, Athren couldn't help but admire her body as she neared him. Though he was a cold, brutal, warrior. He did have his needs and his wants. "I wouldn't hesitate to pay that either." She began to run her fingers up his chest and to is chin before giving him a slight flick. Athren didn't really budge much, he kept much of the same smirk he had. Though the girl may have been attempting to torment him, it wouldn't have been working. She had asked another question. "If I was trying to bed you, I'd base it more upon your personality that you displayed the other night. You've got more of a sharp edge, a fire to yourself that your pure, sweet, older sister doesn't. If it were just down to looks, I'd be trying to bed you both. Now, Wouldn't I?"
She then poked him on the nose, Athren didn't budge at all. She then asked how they met, hell. She even called him Mister Grumpy. Really? That's what he was going to be called while he spend time on Earth? That wasn't even fair, regardless. The young saiyan began to answer her final question. "Let me make it simple, Your sister is much to stubborn to leave a warrior alone at his request. She continues to stay by him even when he tells her to screw off. That's how we met." With that being said Athren went quiet once more. His ocean blue eyes would've gazed into hers. That's assuming she'd let that happen. If she didn't, he was positive he'd find something else on her figure to stare at. Word Count: 407 Total Word Count: 782
"True," she said, inspecting her nails as he suggested just killing them, "but then that leaves a mess, and that mess tends to lead to a bigger mess... perverts I just screw with their heads. More fun. Besides, perverts like them don't put up much of a fight." she said. Cambia did raise an eyebrow at the fact that he wouldn't hesitate to pay that much zeni. Just how deep did this guy's pockets go that he would be more than willing to pay nearly three million zeni for just one night alone with her in bed? That or how desperate was he to get his rocks off?
When he suggested his reasons for bedding her, and probably her sister as well, she had to chuckle. "Doubt you could get her out of that iron corset of hers to do any bedding." said the hybrid with a shrug. "But I guess that's what happens when you're raised by religious types your whole life." Cambia exposited. She smirked when he mentioned how stubborn she was. "Well, she is a Saiyan after all. That's how you lot are ain't it? A stubborn proud warrior race, or so the tales tend to go." said the half blood girl, catching his blue eyes gazing into her own green ones whilst her tail twitched in the air.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
She had explained her reasons as to why she wouldn't just kill them, sure it left a mess if she didn't completely wipe them from existence. She was also correct when she claimed they didn't put up much of a fight. She had arched a brow at his comment saying he'd pay that much, he wondered what she had been thinking. Sure, he might look desperate but it wasn't that at all. What Athren was trying to do was compliment the girl, nothing more than that. He was positive he could get that kind of activity from somebody else for free, so why bother paying for it? It wouldn't make any sense if he did it. "I guess you're right. Though, Violence is always fun." Athren said, he was finally becoming his darker self. He was trying quite hard to remove any bit of softness that the Earth had granted him in the past seven years. He refused to let himself be worn down to Earthling standards, there was absolutely no way in hell.
She had claimed that she doubted Athren could get her sister to hit the bed with him, Athren couldn't help but chuckle slightly. It was the truth and nothing but the truth. Though, Athren didn't exactly try to get into bed with Atsuko. He was simply attempting to be civil when they had hung out. Of course, if she tossed herself at him he wasn't going to say no. With her eyes staring into his Athren had his own remark about the saiyan race. "We're also thirsty for battle, You're obviously of saiyan descent as well, you should know all of this too. I'm sure you're quite stubborn and proud when it comes down to it." Athren paused for a moment as he decided to shoot yet another question her way. "Though, I'm curious. How does one sister fall into a goody two shoes situation and the other appears to be the complete opposite?" With that being said, The young saiyan shut his mouth again to let her respond. Cambia shrugged at his question concerning the stark difference between herself and her older sister. "Simple really. When she got dumped here, she wound up being raised in some church or something her whole life. Apparently our dear old daddy has a thing against spawning albino children, so figured it'd be easier to just ship them off of Vegeta as soon as possible." she said with a flick of her hand. "I on the other hand wound up, after getting dumped here as well, being raised in a random orphanage before I burnt it to the ground in a fit of pre-pubescent rage, then wandered the streets and roads for the rest of my life." said the hybrid, taking out a flask from her pocket and taking a mouthful from it, the smell of alcohol wafting in the air.
"And you're only half right." she said, pointing at him with her tail. "I'm only half saiyan. The other half, demon. So, that probably has something to do with it as well." Cambia shrugged as she took another mouthful, licking her lips clean of the moisture from the flasks contents. "You can imagine the kind of upbringing that little combination brought about." the half saiyan half demonic girl said, pocketing her flask. "As for why she and I look nearly the same despite our parentage... I'm gonna chock that one up to my mother. Bitch is twisted like that and probably enjoys the chaos whenever we get confused for one another by the locals." said Cambia, shrugging as she answered that particular question before it could get asked.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Athren listened carefully to her words that explained everything he had wondered. So, She was a half saiyan with the other half demon? That was quite the curious case. Athren couldn't help but wonder what she were to have been capable of. His right eyebrow arched as it normally did when something curious arose. "Hmph.." Athren mumbled slightly as he tried to wrap his head around it all. "You're quite the interesting case then, aren't you?" Athren had watched her as she continued to sip from her flask, it was quite rude that she hadn't been offering him any, though she was both saiyan and demon. He shouldn't have expected anything more. "So, What is it you plan on doing here? Plan on following your sisters holy footsteps or creating a little havoc?" This is where Athren began to dig into her life, he was curious to know what she had planned. Regardless of what it was, he wouldn't do anything to intrude or stop her. If she wanted to completely destroy the Earth, he'd be cool with that so long as he wasn't on it.
With that being said Athren yawned and stretched lightly, it wasn't that he was bored of her. It was simply that he was tired of doing nothing. You see, Athren had spent a large portion of his time training. He didn't take many breaks, nor did he slow down often. This whole standing around and talking thing was quite a change for him. Though it wasn't necessarily all that bad, at least he was talking to somebody who was easy on the eyes and shared at least partially the same race that he was. It wasn't very often he got to be in the company of a half saiyan, he might as well enjoy it while he could. Word Count: 306 Total Word Count: 1,431
The hybrid shrugged at his question. "For the moment, I'm actually content wandering around with her." she said, tipping her eyes towards him. "She's led me to some interesting people so far. Even managed to get into a decent fight with her around, even if she stole all the good parts." Cambia said with a pout. "So, what brings you out here then eh? Last I saw you, you were shooting off into the sky in a huff." she asked the Saiyan male.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Did Athren just hear her correctly? Had she actually been content wandering around with her eldest sister? That just seemed completely unreasonable, what joy was there following somebody around like a lost puppy? She could live her own life and become anything she wanted to be, yet she decided to roam with her sister and have her sister choose her path. It was actually a sad situation. Athren wished she'd open her eyes and see that the world had plenty to offer her if she were to go out on her own adventures, she didn't need her sister. "You're content?" Athren paused slightly. "I bet you'd be a lot happier if you went out and experienced things on your own terms, I know your sister isn't exactly the easiest person to have fun around." With that being said Athren paused for a moment, he didn't want to press the situation too hard though he did have just a little bit more to add to it all. "You're capable of so much more, you've got potential. Do you really want to let her hold you back while you follow her around like a lost puppy? This planet has plenty to offer, you're missing out if you follow her footsteps. There's always more fun in making your own." With that being said Athren shifted to answer her second question, it was easier to answer and it wouldn't be so touchy.
Athren nodded his head slightly, he was empty handed so his answer might have seemed slightly funny. "Well, I had originally come here to get some basic supplies." Athren paused a moment once more as a smirk crawled over his face. "Though I get distracted by pretty girls quite easily." At this point Athren didn't have much more to say regarding the topics, it was all in her end of the field now. Hopefully she wouldn't get too hostile regarding his friendly advice. Whether or not she listened was her business, as well as what she did with it. To be honest, Athren didn't give a damn what she did. He was just trying to help her out. He spent his whole life trying to fill somebody elses shoes and stressed out about it quite frequently. He knew what it was like, the pressure, the intense struggles. It wasn't fun. Now that he had been picking his own path, he was enjoying things quite a bit more than he had originally expected. Regardless, he arch a brow as he awaited what she'd say. Surely, it'd be entertaining. Word Count: 425 Total Word Count: 1856
Cambia blinked at his response. "Wait." she said, pointing a finger towards him. "You think... oh wow." she began to chuckle, that chuckle transmuting into a full blown fit of laughter, her pointing hand now clasped to her forehead, her head arching back as she laughed whilst leaning against the wall. She laughed like this for three whole minutes before eventually quieting down, wiping a couple of tears from her eyes. "Oh I haven't had that good a laugh in a while." she chuckled before looking at Athren, assuming he was even still there.
"You think I've been following her for quite a while dont'cha?" she asked him, the snickering threatening to enter her words and disrupt her flow of speech once again. "We've only just met one another. Like a week ago, maybe a couple tops. I stopped keeping track of time a while back." said the demonic saiyan.
"I thought she was some desert hallucination at first. Neither of us knew we even had a sister." explained the hybrid with a smirk. "And as for the following, at the moment we're just travelling together in the same general direction." said Cambia before she chuckled. "Besides, I hang out around her long enough, who knows? I may just rub off on her and get her to loosen up."
Then he explained why he'd come to this town... and then made her chuckle again. "Wow, that is by far the worst pick-up line I have ever heard. And I've heard nearly all of them by now." smirked the half saiyan half demon girl.
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
She began to speak, it had appeared something specific that Athren had sputtered out had managed to catch her attention, yet Athren would be quite oblivious to know why for the next three minutes. She had decided to burst out into laughter, he body and actions completely controlled by the outburst. He didn't know what to do or even what to say. He simply would've began to tap his foot against the ground impatiently. Luckily he had been in a good mindset or he most likely would've found himself getting annoyed. He couldn't explain her laughter nor did he think that anything he had said had been funny. So what exactly was it that got to her? "Hmph.." Athren would've mumbled out as she had continued to laugh. He had actually been somewhat impressed with himself that he lasted there so long, usually he would've blasted off due to the simple fact that that kind of behaviour was usually quite a pet peeve of his. Regardless, it obviously wasn't going to happen. Finally, she stopped her laughing and began to speak again. She explained that they had only met a week or two ago, this was kind of an interesting concept though it would have made sense if both had been shipped to the planet at different times, which was safe to assume due to their age gap.
"You know, I highly doubt she'll loosen up. Even if you are around her, she'll probably be like that the rest of her life but If that's what keeps her going.." Athren cut himself off, in all honest he just wasn't sure what to say to afterwards. He didn't want to sound like a fool and say something stupid either, at this moment in time Athren was positive that silence was a gift.
The young hybrid had then decided to comment on his pick up line and stated that it was by far the worst. Athren couldn't help but arch an eyebrow here. That wasn't even a pick-up line. At the current moment, he was simply trying to talk to her. It was pure honesty that came from his lips and nothing more. He wasn't trying to pick her up at the moment, sure.. if she just so happened to want to see his bedroom he wouldn't decline but he currently did not have the objective of getting her into his bed. Though, that was an amusing idea. "Wait, You're kidding.. Right?" His ocean blue eyes would've gazed upon hers once again as he began to explain himself. "Don't mistake the brutal truth for a pick up line." Athren paused for a moment as he looked away. He wasn't quite sure what to say here at the moment. He didn't want to not say anything as that'd leave him open for comments, yet he didn't want to say anything because he'd potentially make himself out to be stupid. He didn't want either. "I was just stating a fact, that's it." With that being said Athren had figured he did alright. It wasn't too bland and it wasn't anything crazy, it had fit the bill just right. Word Count: 524 Total Word Count: 2380
Cambia smirked as he made his doubts about her loosening up her sister known. "Oh I don't know... I'm doing a pretty good job with you so far, and we've only just met." she said before shrugging. "Course that could just be down to you being a bloke and me being a girl." she said. She blinked when he made his defense about his earlier words, and she could help herself from reacting, especially with the way he looked as well when he said that last sentence.
"D'awww, you looked so adorable just there." she said with a chuckle. "You looked like a tsundere character from a manga or anime, it was so cute!" said the demonic saiyan with a smirk. "You should maybe try that on the other girls you meet. It may improve your reputation a little aside from being known as the Grumpy Saiyan Prince." Cambia half-teased and half-suggested. She stood there for a moment against the wall before she asked. "You genuinely mean that? The whole... me being pretty thing?"
This world curses me because of my blood, then I shall curse and plague it in turn!
Athren was in for it, what was about to hit him was one of the worst things he could get. In all honesty, he'd rather face a massive energy attack. He just wasn't good with emotions or being soft. It was something he refused to accept and when it had come creeping into his life he had always tried his best to push it back out. The last thing Athren needed was to be known as soft, he was a saiyan warrior, a killer. He wasn't keeping that composure now though and it tormented him. She had teased him slightly about the effect she had on him and it was true, he wasn't so angry around her but then again the first time they met her sister had annoyed him with her words. This girl actually was entertaining though, she had a fire in her personality that Athren hadn't seen before. She wasn't afraid to torment the weak and she wasn't afraid to put a mighty saiyan warrior in his place. She had Athren's respect. Athren didn't say much to the first portion of her words, in fact he couldn't even think of anything to say to that.
What came next was even worse, hell. It wasn't even fair. She called him adorable? NO! That wasn't acceptable, he wasn't adorable! He was a saiyan. He was supposed to be the farthest thing from adorable, this wasn't right. When he heard the words 'adorable' and 'cute' Athren's eyes would've scanned over to her. He couldn't help but gaze into her eyes for a moment before turning his head away in the same fashion that he did previous.. "What adorable...? I'm not adorable.. " He paused for a brief moment here, He didn't have much to say to this other than that, it wasn't very often he received a compliment. "Gah.. Shut up.." When he told her to shut up his tone was quite soft, he didn't mean any hostility by it, he just didn't know how to handle the situation. Hell, another thing that was going wrong for Athren at this time was the fact that his cheeks were turning a very light shade of red. He was actually blushing and this was very uncommon for him.
She had then proceeded to ask if he had meant what he said about her being pretty, of course Athren thought she was or he wouldn't have said it. He spoke his mind a majority of the time and when he did it was honesty. He didn't find any reason to lie or find a benefit to it. That's just how he worked. "Uh.." He stumbled upon his own tongue for a moment. He needed to catch up with the situation, he was actually quite overwhelmed. "Uh.. Yeah! Of course I meant it!" He would've snapped at her, though once more his tone was light and soft. At the moment he kept his eyes on anything BUT HER. Anything that had passed or anything that would be enough to keep his eyes attention for more than a handful of seconds got it. Hell, If he were to look at her surely she'd notice that he was blushing. He couldn't have that happen, now could he? Word Count: 540 Total Word Count: 2,920
Cambia chuckled at his reactions to her calling him adorable and cute. When he told her to shut up, she put on as innocent a face as she could and pouted. "Is that a royal command my prince?" inquired the hybrid before she smirked. "Although, I am not certain I would even follow such a command... I am only half a Saiyan after all. And we are a long way from Vegeta." said Cambia.
She did blush a little though when he affirmed he meant his words about considering her pretty. She had heard those words before, but usually from individuals who meant them in only so far as it could lead to them gaining advantages over her. And whilst this male wanted to bed her as well, his reactions seemed to indicate his sincerity. It was... strange to consider. She'd seen her reflection before so knew how she looked, but had never considered herself to be genuinely pretty. Especially given her demonic side of her heritage...
Cambia let out a soft sigh. "So many of the Saiyan Royal Family seems to be paying Earth a visit it seems." she mused, reflecting on the other Prince she and her sister had encountered. "Don't tell me that Earth's a holiday retreat for intergalactic royalty?" she inquired of the prince standing before her. "Although I do wonder if all the titles are needed."
