Quiet, orange, and beautiful. The sun was just settling down across the horizon on the large canyon as she sat there with her legs crossed. Her dark saiyan eyes peering off into the distance with a sigh, "I wonder why everyone is so distant. Why everyone is always wanting to fight and fight and fight annnnnd fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggghtttt! Gosh! I really don't get this whole fighting thing! It's said the fighting is in our blood but... I don't get it," she said whimpering a bit... Mitsuba was a puny little girl with no sense of battle thrill. She's always been scared of fighting! Why? Why was she always scared?! Maybe it was something nanny just always crammed in her head. Quickly jumping to her feet, she'd stretch her arms a bit. "That's it... I think it's time I show Earth that puny saiyans can fight too!" she said smirking a bit to herself. She looked at her fingers and brought them together and cracked them. With that heard, her eyes widen. That hurt!!! She quickly pulls her hands away and beings wagging her hands around, "OW! OW! OWWW! OH BEANS! OWWWWW!!!" she screamed out loud. She has NEVER relieved pressure off her fingers so this was something brand new to her fingers. She would slowly realize it though... That felt pretty good too release that pressure.
"H-Hey... That felt... good! Hehehe... That felt so good!!!" yelling like a maniac as she jumped up and down. The feeling of being a saiyan was somewhat kicking in! However, now comes the next problem. A fighting pose... Her eyes go wide as she looked around, feeling a bit embarrassed to have no fighting stance! Her face glowing red, "U-Uh.... How do I get in a proper stance?" dumbingly saying to herself as she had an idea how it could work.. She pulled her fists up like a boxer, standing up awkwardly to herself. "I-I guess this will do.." and with that said she goes off with a few punches! At first her punches were rather slow and choppy, trying to figure out how to properly punch. After a few punches, she starts going harder! Her blood pumping a bit faster as she goes a bit faster! "Ohhhh~! T-This is fun!" yelling to herself in joy! She pressed up in the air and continued her sloppy punches. Dodging back and forth like a boxer as well! "YAAAAH~!" kicking the air with her leg. It was the stupidest looking kick ever but... she was feeling it! That Saiyan fighting thing! It was flowing through her!!
Landing down on the ground, she would land across a dead tree standing there. She crossed her arms and gave the tree a smirk, "Haha! You think you're stronger then me-.... Uh...." she paused thinking of something cool to say... Looking clueless and stupid, she hatched an idea! "EVIL DOER! You're no match for...." stopping to do her signature dumb move! She spun and spreads her arms and legs out, looking like an idiot! "SAIYA-GAL!" she shouted out loud! The name Saiya-gal was something she completely made up. She quickly crossed her arms and tried to look cool again. She pretended the tree was talking evil.. "Oh yeah?! I'll show you, EVIL TREE DOER!" and with that quickly said she lunged out and charged! Her fist back behind her as she quickly slammed her fist into the tree! However, things didn't go the way she wanted it too... Her fist goes about a quarter in the tree before she stopped... Her face was in pure pain as she twitched a bit. She slowly pulled her hand out with tears dripping down her cheeks, "O-O-Ow.... SPLINTERS!!!!" she shouted out loud with tears dripping of her cheeks. She wasn't really crying though, just crying from pain. She hugged her hand tightly, trying hard not too cry... "Okay, okay! That w-w-w-was dumb!" and with that said she'd pull the splinters out. Flinching at each splinter being plucked out of her.
Her hand had little drops of blood but it wasn't bad... She sighed with her face red and sat back down and fell backwards in the sand towards the canyon. 'I'm the worst saiyan ever....' thinking to herself as she frowned a bit. Truly, being a saiyan with tears is no bueno to her.
Tomoroko had been training herself deep in the very same wastes Mitsuba had decided to take up her own... training. She was so furious with the ongoing situation in which she was so helpless that she needed some way to vent. She didn't want to see anyone right now for fear of getting too angry with them... The squadron Komatsu had kept here on Earth were busy helping refugees from Planet Natto, Mar was busy with his own Kai business, and as for her... well she wished she could be protecting her son.
"God damn it...if I had just... if I hadn't lost my strength I could be right there... Damn it!" She cursed out loudly, punching a hole into one of the canyon walls. At first it simply cracked under the pressure, but soon a large tunnel exploded outwards from the hole she had created. She was so angry, and this was the only way she knew how to let her anger go... blow shit up.
She would punch the canyon wall again and again, creating a long cave as she went, stopping only when she heard the echo of someone's voice. Who else was out here? So far Tomo had only seen the odd dinosaur or animal, but nothing that could talk. She took a moment to compose herself, wiping at her eyes with her sleeves to make sure there was no evidence of the tears that had started to fall from her eyes.
She would fly out of the newly formed cave, looking around herself to see whom she might find. No one... and she still couldn't sense anyone really... So she decided to fly up higher so that she could get a better view of the canyon from the sky. What she found though was a young girl doing... well something. Tomo could only equate it to a toddler training with how much she wailed after punching a tree. The saiyaness raised an eyebrow before landing on the ground behind Mitsuba.
"Your form is horrid..." She would state as she placed her bloodied hands on her hips, eyeing Mitsuba with a raised eyebrow.
Sucking her teeth in, she would barely handle the pain from the tree. It was weird but she probably was the worst saiyan ever... She didn't have any skills, didn't have any powers. Indeed, it was all bad. However, things were now about to change for the first time ever... She heard a voice that was close. Jumping with an eep, she would turn around and hear her say how horrible that form was. "I'm sorry... I-I just don't l-" and right when she saw the figure. Her eyes would widen. To her it was like an artist recreated the great Tomoroko of the Saiyan Alliance. Mother of Nasu and Koma... This was a truly shocking sight. However, that wasn't the part that scared her... The biggest thing was... She was supposed to be dead! How could this figure be alive?! Gasping a bit of air, she would slowly start speaking... "A-Aunt Tomo...?" softly saying towards her.
Indeed, Tomoroko was her auntie and the one she's always dreamed of meeting. To meet her daddy's sister was like a dream she thought would never come true. Toru only told her about Tomo a couple of times but it wasn't much. Just the simple fact that Tomoroko was her aunt and she was the mother of Nasu which was another shocking thing... She didn't know if Tomo was just as bad as him. Mitsuba slowly stepped forward, shaking rapidly... "I don't know if y-you know me... I'm... Mitsuba... Your brother's daughter...? You look just like the pictures in the Saiyan Palace! You really must be aunt Tomo!" she said before busting out a few tears... She was so happy to see her aunt! She wanted to freakin' hug her and cry in her but she wasn't fully aware how mean she could be...
"I've always wanted too meet you! Nanny always told me about you! This can't be true...! You're not really alive!" she said in pure shock. Whimpering and tearing up to herself. She couldn't take it though... She had to test her auntie. Mitsuba quickly lunged forward and attempted to give her a hug! Not only a big hug but giving Mitsuba a shoulder to cry on. This was the mother of Nasu, the one she considered a close cousin that was nearly like a brother! It was so pleasing to finally meet the aunt she's always admired from stories!
Having been so furious only moments before, Tomo was caught quite off guard by this young girl. She was so small and frail, and when Tomo criticized her form she was quick to apologize to a person she didn't even know. She could only assume that this girl was an eathling by her behavior, but she had to admit it was refreshing to be taken away from all the seriousness around the Saiyans. Whenever she was called aunt Tomo though, her tail twitched and she raised an eyebrow as she eyed the girl curiously.
"Uh... hunh?" She exclaimed, completely confused at the situation. She watched the girl shake as she then introduced herself as Mitsuba. Tomo had to think hard on that one... even though Mitsuba clarified that she was Toru's kid. At first she was thinking of Leena, but then she knew that girl would be much older than this. Mitsuba must have just been a baby then before Tomo left for the war. She then went on talking about Tomo like she was some long forgotten relic which caused the girl to huff lightly until Mitsuba began to cry...
"H...hey kid... why are you crying? Come on if you haven't met me before it's not like it's some big reunion..." Before she could even finish her sentence, Mitsuba had lunged into Tomo's arms and hugged her tightly. Tomo didn't move out of the way, sensing barely any strength from her and so wasn't worried about any alterior motives. She raised her hands to get them out of the way as she was hugged, hesitating before hugging the young girl back an dpatting her head.
"I'm here, but I'm still not alive... You said you're Toru's kid? Then you must have been that baby I met so long ago... Time really does go by fast... but, what are you doing on Earth? You... you weren't on Natto... were you?" She asked cautiously, lowering herself now so she was more eye leveled to Mitsuba.
Tomoroko didn't even have to ask the little girl anything about Natto... She ends up just spilling the beans anyways! "Planet Natto...! It blew up! It... blew up... Right in front of me Aunt Tomo! The crying.... the screams... It all happened around me! While the soldiers ran forward and fought, I ran back and hid! I fled like a coward!" crying into Tomoroko, clearly upset as she found herself weak. Mitsuba was so upset by the fact that she had failed to train herself to fight. That's why she was messing around earlier kinda... She was trying to learn a bit of fighting! Briefly letting go of Tomo, Tomo would say that she's met Mitsuba before but only when she was a baby.
So, Tomoroko knew her condition then. The little infant that was suffering in her incubation chamber. The baby who had literally almost no power level. Frowning a bit to herself, Mitsuba would sniffle a bit with tears running down her cheeks. "Aunt Tomo... I'm so sad because I've lost everyone... Ever since I got here my heart has been cracked and broken... I don't belong too anyone... I'm not a Saiyan nor am I an Earthling. I feel like I don't deserve to be apart of Koma's pack but nor do I feel fit in apart of Nasu's pack... I'm so lost, auntie... My heart is lost. I really don't deserve being apart of any of them. I'm a... broken stupid saiyan with no power! I'm literally broken! I'm useless... Even if I had strength... All I'd want to do is kick my cousin's butt for completely leaving Natto! I have no purpose... No family... Nothing. A few friends and my nanny... That's all I've got..." exclaiming to her auntie.
Mitsuba was a mess. She feels so discarded. Nasu was the one who really drilled that in her head. Honestly, having only Isis and her grandmother... That's what kept her going but sometimes she feels like leaving the group just to be isolated and alone. Mitsuba was weak and scared a lot. It seemed pointless anyways.
Tomo knelt down onto one knee as she hugged Mitsuba tightly, rubbing her back comfortingly as she cried and wailed out her story. so she had still been on Natto after all and had been through something even she would have trouble dealing with... There was nothing Tomo could do seeing as everything had already happened... the best she could do was try to console her niece but... she had no experience consoling any of her children, except Komatsu that one time in the After-life.
"Mitsuba, you aren't a coward. I doubt you were the only one who ran from the destruction of the planet, there's always those with power who cling to their lives too hard to use it." She tried to explain, sighing lightly as she felt she was doing a horrible job at consoling her.
"you haven't lost anyone Mitsuba. Your dad is still alive, I can sense his energy heading for Earth right now, and you have your brother and sister too. There's me, and Kyuri, Koma and Nasu. We're all still here. We might not all be together right now, and we might never be, but we'll always be here for you." She continued in her best attempts to reassure her. This girl had such a small chance of surviving infancy back then, she could only imagine what she was going through as a teenager now with those issues. She felt bad for mitsuba and just couldn't stop hugging her right now.
"Everyone comes into their strength eventually sweetie. Has anyone been training you?" She asked, pulling away just enough so that she could be looking into her eyes now.
The little Saiyaness kept her arms locked around her like a gate. She didn't want to let her go for a second. It was all too stressful for her. She's never had such a dramatic issue like this before. The last time she's really snapped like this was when Nasu broke her down badly. She was screwed up from Nasu always beating her up and such. It was unhealthy for her so she released all her sadness/frustration to her grandmother. Her grandmother was like a sponge, really. She took a lot from Mitsuba's sadness a lot. Point is, Tomo was trying. She really was but this would certainly change her sadness when she hears what Aunt Tomo said.
Tomo points out that she probably wasn't the only one running away with her life. A lot of others saiyans ran too. Which is true! Other Saiyans did run from Natto to avoid the havoc on the world. She would sniffle her nose, nodding a bit. "Y-You're right... That's true.." softly saying. Now things were about to get interesting. She would listen to aunt Tomo explain that her father was alive on Earth! That made her eyes go wide and pull back from aunt Tomo, "D-Dad's alive?! I thought..." and that's when the next wave of info came in. The most important one. She has siblings. Her eyes would widen in pure shock. The eyes of the saiyaness would show a ton of shock. Her jaw slightly dropping, "W...What? I... have a brother and a sister..?" asking lightly. She thought Tomo was nuts. Mitsuba having siblings? Nanny never told her that! Her dad never said anything! What the heck?! She would feel confused a bit, looking at Tomo once more... "Why didn't Nanny tell me that..?" frowning a bit.
Though, it was not done. Aunt Tomo pointed out that everyone was still alive. Maybe, not together but they're all for her. That's a fact that's not true. One was not here for her and that was Nasu... Nasu probably threw her away on purpose. He never showed her love once. It's a sad but true fact. She would frown a bit once more, sighing. "Aunt Tomo... Nasu never cared about me... and that's what breaks my heart the most," whimpering a bit to her auntie. It was depressing to say but... it was with final words, true.
Finally, the two gave each other a proper stare, Mitsuba sadden by all this. Aunt Tomo would tell her that everyone comes into their strength and such but Mitsuba didn't feel that was entirely true... Tomo would ask if anyone has trained her which made her shake her head, "N-No... I only know how to fly..." sniffling softly as she frowned. It was kinda embarrassing to only know how to fly. A saiyan child could do that easily.
Tomo placed her hand on Mitsubaès head gently, patting the girls black hair comfortingly as she let this information sink in. She probably wasn't supposed to tell her about it for whatever reason, but it didn't seem fair to not know about your family when you had them. She was always one to believe in the power family had above all else, something that didn't seem to translate well to her sons.
"I can sense him coming, he's alive Mitsuba, we'll go over and meet him as soon as he lands okay? As for your siblings... well, I'm not sure why my mom didn't say anything about them, but if she didn't then I'm sure she had a good reason. Your dad he's... had a really complicated past and he's done his best to take care of you and your brother and sister while he was away." She tried to explain rationally to Mitsuba, trying to think of why Kyuri wouldn't have said anything to her... of course, last Tomo knew the kids were being watched on planet Earth while Mitsuba was being kept on planet Natto. There was still a lot she didn't know between the war and now, so she tried not to make any assumptions.
"I can't say for sure, but Chris and your sister haven't had things easy from what I understand. Last I saw your brother he was... well he was in the afterlife with me training. I don't know if he made it back or not, and I don't know anything about your sister. So why don't we go talk to my mom and maybe she can clear things up while we wait for your dad?" Tomo asked, trying to be as supportive as possible. It was so strange to be with Mitsuba and have her so strongly need someone to lean on. Komatsu had been similar when he was very little but she doubted that continued into his adulthood.
"Come on, let's go back and figure this out, and maybe you and I can get some training in too, we'll fix that fighting stance of yours" She said kindly, extending her hand to Mistuba. If she took it, then she would lift her up into the sky so that she could guide her back to the town they were staying at.
