A lot of things were going on at the moment on the Blue Marble. Apparently it had a new Kami that just like the previous one, had a thing about sending saiyans away from the planet, even though – this time – the Kami figure was a saiyan herself. On top of that, saiyans from the Empire were arriving on the planet quite often: first it was Komatsu’s war party and afterward the bitch of a saiyan that claimed to not belong to either faction. And there was that strong guy from the Empire too. Nasu also remembered about the namekian who wanted to die at all costs. ”Weird place…” he thought to himself, as he flew towards the Eastern Lands.
Right now Nasu had just passed by East City and kept on going east, towards the ocean. He was taking a stroll around the place for a while, before heading back to the southern islands to continue his training. He was anxious, yes, but he was at the same time a little nervous; he didn’t know how hard it was going to be and a small part of him was afraid he would fail. He had achieved success in comprehending the three virtues of the school, and that was already extremely hard, and, from what his father’s digital ghost said, this was but the beginning. ”But I cannot give in to the fear… I have to face this challenge! My goal lies there!” he reassured his resolve, nodding to himself, as he started flying above the Bamboo Forest. When there, he noticed something odd: A landing site with a damn Mothership right there! – What?! A Saiyan Mothership?! And… This design… It’s not from the Alliance! – he stared at it, arching both his brows and widening his eyes. Shortly after that, he got back into a more serious expression, after he took a deep breath.
”Keep calm… Maybe this is that strong guy’s ship… But my scouter isn’t detecting any strong power level…” he analyzed, feeling a little more at easy as he landed nearby. The young saiyan warrior approached the ship and saw its name. – The Nova… - he spoke to himself. ”Quite a simple name… But has a good sound to it. Star Javelin is better, though!” he thought to himself, as he stood there, wondering if he should spy on the mothership or not.
Currently, Athren would've been off training in nearby meadows with his heavy weights equipped. His green scouter had been equipped as per usual as well. He was once again letting his body take a few days break from the intense training of being in the Gravity Chamber. At the very moment he was doing a light shadow boxing session, he had been completely alone. He wasn't aware of Koma or Orio's whereabouts. He assumed they had went off to do some training of themselves or other activities. Hell, maybe they had still been asleep. Athren really didn't know, all he knew was that his scouter wasn't picking up on any of them. This had been good though, if they hadn't been around neither of them would have been out to pester him and try and get his attention. Though Orio wasn't bad with this Athren feared that Koma might have been, considering the boy's age and all. It wouldn't be a surprise to have him be a slight bit annoying from time to time. This was alright though, Athren wasn't going to shove the kid away over something that silly.
Getting to the down and dirty of his training Athren found himself unleashing devastating close quarters punches into the air, they were fast and swift. A normal human wouldn't be able to keep up with them nor see them. He didn't stop, right, left, left, right. A swift exhale left Athren's mouth every single time he tossed one of them out. He was a strong believer on controlling ones breath, breathing in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth was the most effective way to do so, or so he thought anyway. If a fighter had managed to lose his breath in a battle it could mean the end of his life. Fighting wasn't just about who was the stronger warrior, there was a science behind it all. Even the smallest of things could tilt the scale in the direction of a fighter, that's why Athren practised so many different techniques to make sure he had the best chance possible. These techniques weren't even basic ki techniques, they were far easier than that. They had all been things of basic martial art forms, things that most didn't know but should.
While Athren continued to make quick work of his imaginary opponents, something he didn't know was going down. A saiyan had been approaching his ship yet his scouter didn't detect it immediately. Little did he know, it was the brother of the child he had just taken in, not only this. That meant it was the other offspring of his mothers killers. It was turning into a really small universe, or so it would feel. All of these icons and people with these legacies were meeting up in the strangest of ways. Koma had been a perfect example, he was captured to be used as an insult to the Planet Natto, yet here he was. Living with the Royal Prince to Vegeta's throne. Things were getting crazy, to the point that Athren couldn't even explain why. Though deep down, everything had it's purpose.
Finally, his green scouter had indicated a power level nearby and according to it's coordinates whomever it was, was right near the Princes ship. "What the hell?" Athren mumbled to himself as he lifted off the ground in an instant and began to fly towards his ship. He began to wonder who it could be, was it one of the other saiyan's that came here with the brat to find him or was it somebody else? It very well could have been either or, the question was. Why did the go to his ship? There wasn't anything on it that indicated it was his, sure it had it's name in a very fine print on it but other than that there was nothing. It may have been based on saiyan heritage and been build to replicate on of their ships, but other than that there was nothing special about it. ~Hmph, I wonder If this person wants a fight.. ~
It didn't take Athren very long to reach his ship, the reason for this is he didn't want anybody scambling through it to look for goodies. Nor did he want anybody damaging it. He couldn't afford to have it wrecked, right now. It was his home and his main source of transportation if he had so decided to leave the planet. As he approached and grew nearer, Athren saw a slimmer figure standing proudly in saiyan armour. He couldn't help but arch his right brow curiously as he began to lower himself in front of the saiyan. Shortly, he white boots hand touched down against the soft grass. Athren's arms would have crossed tightly in front of his chest as he examined the young saiyan in front of him.
Athren's attitude was full of confidence, yet his voice didn't sound cocky. Since Athren didn't have any clue to Nasu's intentions Athren kept things quite civil. "I'm surprised to see a saiyan around these parts, at least. One I don't know." Athren paused for a moment as he wanted to get into better details of the situation. "Though, I'm curious to know what you're doing by my ship." With that being said Athren went quiet. His eyes observed his guests body for any sign of movement. If there was going to be an attack he'd want to anticipate it as quickly as possible. The less time he spent figure out his opponent was attacking the more time he'd be able to actually react. Surely, there was a possibility of a fight but Athren was hoping for once that it wouldn't happen. He needed to spend his time preparing for what was to come, even though he wasn't sure what he was up against in the future... he wanted to be as prepared and as ready as he could ever be. Therefore, he found he didn't have time for foolish games or nonsense. Word Count: 1,004 Heavy Weights equipped. 24,567 PL W/Weights = 6,141

Before he could decide whether he should investigate the mothership “The Nova”, his red scouter beeped, detecting a power level nearby. It had scanned a power of just a little above six thousand, but Nasu knew better than to fully trust that number; ever since he arrived on this planet he had encountered plenty of fighters capable of suppressing their energy signature, or using weights to train. Everyone wanted to get stronger, and he knew that very well. Then, he folded his arms and stared towards the direction the scouter pointed: upwards, only to see a saiyan warrior floating above, and slowly descending to the ground, landing in front of Nasu. He was a little bit taller, but appeared to be on the same age as Nasu. He had quite peculiar traits, as he had aqua-blue eyes and a grayish tail, which made the young saiyan warrior take him for a half breed. Not that he cared. He was wearing a black saiyan battle suit, but the model was in that gray area between Alliance and Empire design; his only clue towards that saiyans’s alignment was the ship.
The aqua-eyed saiyan spoke in a civil tone, showing that he wasn’t going to jump into a fight head-on, which was quite a strange behavior for an Empire saiyan, which led Nasu to arch his right brow, feeling rather puzzled by that action. Then, he asked what he was doing by his ship. They would talk, and that was good. ”If he has a mothership, than it’s likely that he has a crew. Maybe they aren’t here right now, but he could ask for their assistance over his scouter at any time. Good thing he wants to talk… Let’s see what I can find out about this aqua-eyes saiyan.” he thought to himself, taking a deep breath before starting speaking to Athren.
– I happened to be flying around the area and I found this landing site. It’s quite uncommon for an Empire’s mothership to be landing here on Earth. I didn’t know the Empire was in such a condition that it could spare motherships for who knows what purpose on such a backwater planet. – he said, pausing briefly before continuing. – I saw the ship and decided to check upon it, no big plans behind this action of mine. And if I heard you right, you said that this is YOUR ship? Or do you mean your crews’ ship? There’s an important difference there! – Nasu asked with a serious tone. He was staring Athren right into his eyes, but he wasn’t showing any aggressive body movement. Nasu was coldy analyzing Athren at every second. He was a seasoned fighter, a war-veteran who fought alongside his parents during the Alliance-Empire war, so he knew how to recognized another trained warrior.
Also, if Athren had ever seen Natto once in his life, he could probably recognize the cross-shaped scar that Nasu shared with his father on his left cheek.
Hmph, Though Athren wasn't aware of it both these warriors were in the Alliance-Empire war. They had once been enemies. Though Athren was set to take down minor foes and struggle where ever he had been needed, he was still a part of it until the end. When the battle between both the warriors parents began Athren had taken a blast that almost sent him straight to hell, somehow he managed to simply hit the ground and black out. What he didn't know was the struggle he had to actually maintain air in his lungs. Regardless of all of this, that was then. Athren didn't have any issues with this saiyan as of now. Of course there were chances that could change depending on words exchanged but for now Athren would retail a peaceful attitude. Thought he did have special red flags he'd listen for, if this saiyan had mentioned anything of Koma or looking for the prince, he'd be cautious and instantly prepared for battle. He wouldn't make the first move and try to play it off like he wasn't expecting anything, but he'd be a little bit more on edge. Last thing he needed was a sucker punch to the face.
It was in that moment that the other saiyan began to speak, he explained that he found the site and how uncommon it was to see an Empire style mother ship sitting idle on this planet. This was in fact a statement Athren could understand, in fact. Athren couldn't recall any scenario's during his life that had cause the saiyan race to touch down on Earth, though his memory could be a little bit damage on that topic. He had then asked if it was Athren's ship, or his crews ship. This forced Athren to raise his right brow curiously. Was this warrior asking to get an estimate on numbers or specifically because he was curious? There were too many factors at play but Athren would do his best to answer these questions while retaining some mystery. "I suppose you're right, It's quite uncommon for a saiyan mother ship to be here on Earth. Though, I assure you I'm not here on empire business nor does the empire have any interest to me any more. I've decided to life a path of my own, one where I decided the ending." With the first questioned answered in full Athren paused to move onto the second one. "As far as the ships owner is, It's mine." Athren gave the other saiyan a solid, firm answer. It wasn't a lie and the next bit he added wasn't necessarily a lie neither. "If I knew where my crew was, They'd tell you the same thing." This was said to try and discourage any attack that he might have been thinking of. Numbers could mean a lot in a battle, especially if one were fighting by themselves with nobody around to back them up.
Now that Athren had managed to answer his questions, Athren had a few of his own for the other saiyan. "I'm curious, What faction are you aligned with? I'd assume you aren't aligned with the empire based on various reasons.." This assumption had came from a few simple facts. This guy was asking a lot about the empire like he knew a fair bit about them in a way that would indicate he wasn't. He didn't claim to have any ties to the empire nor did it sound like he was a part of them. Not only this, but there was also the simple fact that he was in the same age group as Athren and didn't recognize him. If he had been of the empire and lived on Vegeta, Surely he'd have some recollection of the Prince. Whether it be the ocean blue eyes or the grey tail, those were the two, common knowledge facts of the prince that almost all the empire had known about. In fact, it was to the point where it was tossed around the camp fire like some sort of legend. "That also brings me to my next question, what are you doing here? This planet doesn't have much to offer a saiyan like neither yourself or me. It's quite boring and bland." Though Athren had claimed the planet to be boring and bland, this wasn't necessarily the truth. If one didn't know how to make their time on the Planet Earth count, Sure. It could be very boring and hard to keep ones self entertained. This wasn't the case for Athren though, he had met people that helped passed the time and he was always so focused on training.
Athren's eyes had glanced to the scar on the fighters face, though he didn't recognize it, it was something that brought him back to the war stories shortly after his mother passed away. He remembered hearing about how a male and female were in both a super saiyan and super saiyan three form and fought her. The male had long, golden hair with a scar on his cheek. The descriptions of the scar had fitted that of the one on this mans face. Surely, there couldn't have been a connection. A scar was just a scar after all, ~ What was that guy's name again?~ Athren thought to himself trying to dig back all those years ago to remember the name of the mighty super saiyan three. ~ N.. Nat-something?~ Unfortunately for him, he could only remember the beginning of it. Though it truly had irrelevance to this whole situation. Even if this warrior did claim to be the son of the one who killed his mother, Athren wouldn't have made anything of it. Hell, Athren had basically took in the youngest child of his mothers killers and made him a little brother. There would absolutely be zero reason for these two fighters to clash, unless of course Nasu had different plans for this situation. Of course, only time would tell. At this point in time, Athren kept his mouth shut and awaited what the fighter would say. Hopefully, they'd get along well. Word Count: 1,019 Total Word Count: 2,023

Nasu nodded when Athren said that was indeed uncommon to see a Saiyan mothership on Earth. ”It’s uncommon to see a mothership alone…” he took a mental note, starting to think that Athren was some sort of big deal, or at least from a very wealthy background. But then he said that he wasn’t on Empire’s business and that sounded rather fishy, making Nasu arch one of his eyebrows in clear suspicion. The aqua-eyed saiyan said that he had chosen a path of his own, and that was entirely plausible, but, still, Nasu had his doubts, but decided against voicing them; it wouldn’t do any good. The gray-tailed saiyan also mentioned that the ship was indeed his own, confirming Nasu’s suspicion that he had a decent background, which made the young saiyan warrior wonder who exactly this guy was. ”I don’t remember him from the war… But, again, there were plenty of people there…” he thought to himself. Finally he had confirmed he had a crew, and Nasu took another mental note of that. ”If we end up fighting I will quickly be outnumbered. Best avoid that for now.”. And the effect Athren desired with those words were met: Nasu was completely discouraged to pick a fight unless he really needed to.
Finally, it was Athren’s turn on the questioning and he made the first most obvious question: which faction was Nasu with. The young saiyan warrior sighed with that question, as he knew it could always have the potential to cause trouble. Although Athren wasn’t with the Empire, it didn’t mean that he was fine with the Alliance at all, so he was walking now on shaky grounds. Following that, he completed his question by asking what Nasu was doing on Earth. The white-battle suited saiyan sighed again and closed his eyes for a short moment. ”Well… Let’s go…” then, he slowly opened his pitch black eyes, staring at Athren’s and started speaking in a calm tone.
– I’m with neither. I’m a rogue saiyan too, but you are right, I was never with the Empire and how about we leave it at that? – it was just a rhetorical question, as he proceeded to answer the second question immediately. – And I might point out that this planet is not as bland as it may seem. I’ve been here for a while and, at first, I also thought that… But… Yeah… I’ve encountered plenty of strong fellows around these parts that made me reflect upon my life and pride. – he was being honest now. – It’s a small planet and most of its population is weak and soft. But there’s something about this place… Some sort of mystical aura that attracts power to it. That’s what I’ve realized so far. – He paused, before cracking a grin with the corner of his mouth.
– Underestimate the locals and you might be surprised. And not in a very good way. You see, they are not very fond of us, saiyans. – and that was also true. Not that the saiyans weren’t to blame for such mistrust and harsh behavior, they had attacked Earth more than once in their history, but Nasu thought it was good to throw a small piece of advice to a fellow saiyan, even if they were from opposite sides. Truth be told, Nasu was more concerned about defeating some earthlings first rather than settling any quails he had with Empire’s saiyans.
Athren had noticed the hesitation before the other saiyan had began to speak, he had caught onto this a handful of times now but couldn't figure out the reason why. Of course there would be multiple theories that Athren could've came up with on the spot. Athren had listened to the fighter as he went on about how he wasn't of the empire and how he was a rogue saiyan. Sure, this might've been true but on the other hand he might have been from the alliance and had fear to spill the truth. The fighter had then went on about Earth and how it wasn't so bland after all, though Athren could actually agree he refused to believe that there was a human out there capable of contending with a saiyan elite. It wasn't possible, it was that simple. The saiyan race was genetically superior in every single way compared to a human, there wasn't a damn chance that a mere human could take out a saiyan, Athren couldn't bite his tongue on that fact. "A human take out a saiyan? That isn't possible. They aren't capable of it." Regardless of all of this, Athren wondered what the fighter was holding back. All that hesitation must have been for something, was he holding back his true purpose for being there? After all, Saiyan's weren't known to go snooping around without a reason. Sure, they were curious at times but that mostly regarded watching a fight of some sort. Athren couldn't help but wonder if this saiyan had been one of the two that Koma had mentioned, the ones that accompanied him to Earth to find the prince. Deep down Athren had hoped this wasn't the case, in all honesty he was hoping to save that moment for when he was bored and in need of entertainment. You see, Athren wanted a challenge eventually and what better challenge than another saiyan? He wanted that moment to come when there wasn't anything else to do, it would be beneficial to his talents and to his power level. There wasn't a bad thing about that, yet. This guy wasn't making any hostile notions or comments regarding the prince. This was something Athren simply couldn't figure out. Finally speaking up, Athren decided to remark against the 'leave it at that' comment. That was quite simple, he found that justified. "Yeah, That's fair. We'll leave that alone." Athren paused for a moment, he believed something else, especially while he was on Earth. If he was on Vegeta, surely he'd have a different mindset than the one he currently had. "Just so you know, Regardless of where your loyalties lie.. I believe that we've all got a common enemy while we're on this foreign planet. We're saiyan's after all." This statement was meant to inform that Athren didn't want any sort of fight, though he wouldn't refuse if it came to it. On Earth, a planet so far away from both Vegeta and Natto, The saiyan's there must tread carefully as Nasu's comments were right. They weren't exactly liked where they were now, their races past figures had damaged their reputation far too much, almost beyond repair. While they were on Earth, fighting each other was pointless. Athren had spoken up again regarding how the Earthlings say saiyans. "I find it entertaining, the sin's of our elders have brought the hate upon us. I haven't even damaged this planet once, nor have I made an effort. Yet, I'm still the 'bad' guy. I don't understand their thinking." Athren paused for a moment as he chuckled lightly. "Though I'd love to see the look on their faces if I did, Surely that'd entertain me. I've been craving some kind of mission for quite some time now." Of course, he didn't mean anything by this. Though it had been true, he was by no means indicating that he wanted to openly attack the Earth.
Though, with the basics out of the way Athren was quite curious to know whom this saiyan was. He didn't care about his past or his goals, he just wanted a name. It was quite difficult to have a civil conversation without being on first name basis, no? With that being said Athren smirked slightly and introduced himself. "So, I believe introductions are in order." Athren paused for a moment. "I'm Athren, You are?" With that being said he would've given the saiyan a moment to respond. Once names had been exchanged Athren would have asked another question, whether or not it be answered didn't really matter. The prince was simply trying to keep a civil conversation, surely they could learn something from one another. "What the hell brings you to Earth anyway? There has to be something." Of course Athren wasn't going to reveal his true motives if asked, he didn't need anybody to know that he was royal blood. That could put a huge target on his head and possibly bring much more attention to himself than he'd want. He didn't have the patient or time for an audience, he had goals to accomplish. As they spoke Athren's right foot would have tapped against the Earth's surface slightly. It was a habit that usually occurred when he was impatient or bored, but in this case he wasn't neither. Hell, he didn't even notice that it was happening. Though, it wasn't a big deal. As Athren awaited the words from Nasu, a light breeze blew over the area. It was a cooling air that kissed his skin softly. His hair ruffled about gently as the whistle it made touched his ear. He hadn't lost his confident composure and he was still quite focused on paying attention to the fighters body. If there had been any slightly movements of muscles Athren was hoping to pick up on it. He still wasn't going to let his guard down for Nasu could be here for any purpose. Though, he still didn't know what it was... Athren wanted to be sure he'd come out on top. Exactly who know what he had been hiding. Athren didn't want to take any chance. Word Count: 1,025 Total Word Count: 3,048

Nasu had to sigh when Athren said that it was impossible for a human to take out a saiyan. Well, as much as he would love to believe in what the blue-eyed saiyan was saying, his time on Earth made him change his mind. The saiyans were indeed biologically superior, but, just like a low class saiyan can rise to become a topnotch warrior, just like his mother did back on her time, a human can train hard and with discipline and be able to succeed in a clash against a saiyan warrior, even if he is part of the elite. Truth was a pain, but a true warrior needs to accept reality, even if it’s not pleasant. ”But the main problem isn’t a human… It’s actually another saiyan… And a demon!” he reminded himself, but still decided not to share that, he still didn’t know the saiyan in front of him, and, therefore, share too could do harm, especially if that guy still had some connection, even if faint, with the Empire.
However, Athren pointed out, shortly after Nasu’s thoughts, that he believed that, regardless of their loyalty lied, they had a common enemy on Earth, and they were saiyans. That comment made Nasu arch one of his eyebrows, feeling rather interested on what was crossing the blue-eyed saiyan’s mind, and he listened carefully to what he was saying. The gray-tailed saiyan mentioned the fact that they were held guilty for the sins of their ancestors and seen as enemies of Earth, even though they didn’t do anything themselves. Nasu took a deep breath. ”Yeah… I sort of attacked some of them, but only after they attacked me, so I have to agree with this guy. The earthlings paint us as enemies the second they see our tails and battle suits. This is beyond annoying, especially considering the fact that they are only alive today because my father decided not to lay waste on their tiny boring world.” he thought to himself, feeling a little bit annoyed by that fact; it was quite irritating, and that made Nasu assume a more serious expression, with his grin fading away.
Then, Athren mentioned that he would like to see how the earthlings would react if they did indeed meet their expectations and attacked them. Such comment generated a click on his mind. ”Hang on a second… Maybe…” Nasu’s mind started racing like crazy as he came up with some sort of idea that might work: what if he teased that saiyan with such an idea? Maybe he would buy it, and Nasu could most definitely use an ally because, although he was doing his very best to assure he had a real chance of succeeding, precautions are never enough, and saiyans are known for naturally forming squads! They aren’t like some of their enemies paint them: ruthless lonely beats, filled with rage. Despite their harsh behavior, they are quite sociable and tend to form bonds with their comrades.
Finally, before Nasu could speak, Athren said that they should introduce themselves and said his name, asking for Nasu’s name in return. The young saiyan warrior with the white weighted battle suit nodded and answered. – I’m Nasu. – he simply said and, just as he answered, Athren asked him what brought him to Earth anyway. A light breeze blew over the area, touching their skin and refreshing them, while, at the same time ruffling their hair. When this light breeze passed, Nasu finally started speaking again. He didn’t move at all, just remained there with his folded arms, like he was a stone statue. – I came here to polish my skills. This is the ground where many strong saiyan warriors have fought and evolved in the past, and I wanted to know what secrets this shithole of a planet held. And it happens to have quite a few secrets, truth be told, and, after a year here, I’m starting to harvest the fruits of my patience. – he said in a diplomatic tone. He wasn’t really telling him everything, but that was enough for strangers to share. – I didn’t came here to attack those damn earthlings, but, just like you said, I’m guilty of the crime of being born a superior being, a true member of a warrior race, and for that I have been attacked more than once and I’ve made enemies with them. – he sighed a little bit. – And if it was just problem with humans, then I would most definitely had handled it by now, but it’s not! It’s a freaking saiyaness and a demon too. They are earthbound assholes… And I had enough of their shit. – he said in all honesty he had. Nasu had to control himself quite a lot not to show any sign of anger, but deep inside his pitch black eyes, it was quite obvious that he was filled with hatred. – But they will taste my revenge, as soon as the full moon is out, I will destroy the place they call home, to the west! They will see what a true saiyan elite is capable of, and… - he paused, cracking a grin in the corner of his mouth.
– And then I will be truly guilty of what they are already claiming I am! – he said, and then he chuckled a little bit. He had that saiyan will of fire in his eyes, which were typical of their race.
So finally they had been making some civil headway, it wasn't necessarily a surprise but Athren didn't expect this saiyan to be that easy about it. Athren figured he'd beat around the bush for a short period of time and keep the prince's request at bay but instead he answered immediately. It was good, there was little to no hesitation. Though Athren was still being cautious he felt as if he could lighten up a little bit. He didn't want to remain tense and focused on any little movement that the opposition could make. Hell, for all Athren knew he was telling the completely truth and completely harmless to him though being alone on a foriegn planet was surely enough to make one be careful of those around. There were all types of people on the Planet Earth, Good ones, bad ones. It was hard to figure out whom to trust and who not to trust. It didn't make things easy for the prince. When Athren finally did receive the name he felt as if it had sounded familiar, similar to the ones in the stories about his mother and the two who killed her. ~Na..su? Hm.. I feel as if I should know more about this guy.. Then again.. Maybe this planet is just driving me nuts..~ Athren thought to himself as he made a very small connection to Nasu and his father. It wasn't anything that Athren would be able to continue on his own, so far he had two similarities with Nasu and the stories. The scar and the start of the name. Though that had been nothing and it was completely irrelevant and this point in time. Maybe one day Athren would figure out the truth and when he did, he wouldn't make anything of it anyway. Just like how he reacted with Koma. Though, it really was a small world. Athren met Koma and even took him in, now he gets to meet Koma's big brother. It was kind of funny how that worked. "Well Nasu, I suppose it's a pleasure." Athren stated aloud in a proud voice, he more or less said this to be civil. It truly wasn't a pleasure as nothing significant had come out of it. In all honesty, that had been stated in that form simply because he was working on seeming more 'professional'. He was trying to fit the bill of a Prince remember, he needed to act formal and diplomatic in some scenarios.
Athren had continued to listen to every bit Nasu had been telling him, it was kind of odd but their histories had aligned in more way than the fateful encounter between his own mother and Nasu's parents. "It's kind of amusing how you travelled here to train, I did the same thing. My purpose here was to prepare for something I no longer pursuit." Athren paused for a moment. Surely if Planet Natto had knowledge of Athren's departure it was possible that Nasu might be able to line up all the facts, Athren was throwing himself on a limb out here. Thats of course IF Nasu had prior knowledge of the saiyan prince. "I've been here seven years now, I find no need to return home. Yet, I find myself without a purpose here. It's funny how that works out. Prepare all your life for something then toss it away for nothing. Damn shame actually." Athren paused once more, he felt as if they had multiple things in common which they did. It didn't take long for Athren to notice the anger boiling deep beneath Nasu's skin. It was quite obvious, he had hated those whom attacked him. It made sense though, Nasu was obviously sick of people attacking him for the reputation that the saiyans before had set in stone. Neither Athren nor Nasu had a choice in that decision yet they were paying the consequences for it. It wasn't proper nor fair, regardless. Athren figured there wasn't anything he could do about it. That was of course until Nasu had mentioned his plans for revenge, he planned to wipe out the home of those who attacked him. It was in that moment that Athren's right eyebrow arched curiously. That almost sounded like it could be fun and if there had been two of them like he claimed surely he could use the assistance. He then claimed he'd then become guilty of what they claim him to be. Athren found no shame or disrespect in that, it was only fair. Hell, Athren had even found himself interested in the idea and he wouldn't be surprised if both Koma and Onio would be too. They were all saiyan warriors after all, they needed to stick together on this planet. That was the only way to stay ahead and insure that they'd manage to survive. "You know that almost sounds like it could be fun. It's been a long time since I've been on a mission or got to fight my way to victory." Athren paused for a moment as he thought about it all. "It sounds like you've been outnumbered by them before and I believe on such a hostile planet, we have to stick together as a race. This draws me to my point." Athren's face had now been crawling with a smirk, he was actually quite excited at the idea. "I'll tag along with you and even out the odds. Hell, I'm sure the few I've got living on my ship would be quite interested in the idea too. We'll stack the odds against the bastards like they did to you." With that being said Athren awaited Nasu's reaction. He figured he wouldn't decline the help. Though it sounded like fun, Athren didn't have a damn clue as to what he was getting himself into. The people that this saiyan fought were people Athren had known. Atsu, Bern, who else knows who would show up to fight? It was going to get bad, Athren didn't realize it now but surely there would be loss of life. Whether it be his or one of his comrades, this battle wasn't going to end cleanly. It was funny how polite Athren was, even though the pleasure part was obviously fake, it meant that he had proper education, even for a saiyan, which was something quite rare, unless he was really part of the highest tier of saiyan royalty, and that though had just snapped on Nasu’s mind, making him discretely narrow his eyes. ”Athren… Yeah, somehow I think I know this name… I guess there’s much more to this guy than just a good birth…” he thought to himself. Then, the blue-eyed saiyan said that he had come to Earth pursuing the same goal as Nasu, in order to prepare for something he no longer desired, and that was another odd think to be noted. ”This just makes me more curious!” he took a mental note, and started paying even more attention to anything that saiyan was saying, as well as his body movement and other details in both his body and his ship that could be linked to something deeper, something that Nasu had been failing to notice. The young saiyan warrior was having that annoying sensation when you are just about to remember something important, but something on your mind keeps you from actually remember it. Still, he showed no signs of such internal conflict and remained chill on the outside, with his subtle grin on his face. Then, impressive enough, Athren said that he had been on Earth for seven years, and that made Nasu arch his brows a little bit more and widen his eyes. – Seven years?! – he exclaimed, feeling rather impressed on how long he had been lurking around the Blue Marble. ”Hang on a second… Seven years… it was the war! The Alliance-Empire War! If he left Vegeta seven years ago, it means that he must have fled due to the war!” and that thought made Nasu gulp. Athren continued saying that he didn’t feel a need to return home, but also didn’t have any purpose left in him. Nasu was still keeping it cool, but he could feel a drop of sweat forming on his left temple. ”He couldn’t be…” the prince, that was what Nasu was beginning to suspect. It would make a hell of a sense! They couldn’t find the prince, and he was known to be peculiar looking, despite being a pure-blooded saiyan. But he decided that it would be better not to bring this suspicion to the topic of their conversation and, luckily, Athren changed the topic after Nasu had opened up about what happened to him on Earth.
As it was expected of a saiyan, he found it amusing to attack the earthlings, and pointed out that he had been deprived of such thrill for quite a while, and Nasu nodded in response. Then, after pausing for a short while, he continued to say that seemed like Nasu had been outnumbered. – Indeed I was. The best fair fight I had was two against one, but it’s usually around three or four against me. – he said, with a bit of annoyance in his tone. It was indeed maddening on how the earthling and their allies couldn’t really fight their battle by themselves. They always had to team up against their enemies, and there was no honor in that. Then, Athren pointed out that they should stick together as a race, and suggested to tag along with Nasu to even out the odds, and mentioned that the allies he had on his mothership would be more than happy to join forces with the young saiyan warrior. Nasu’s smile widened for two things: first, he had finally decided that he believed Athren was, in fact, the Saiyan Prince. He had this royal aura around him, he was good with words, despite being a saiyan, and he had this leader spirit into him. He was a rogue saiyan for seven years and, yet, he gave shelter to other saiyans who accepted to be with him. ”It’s him… I’m almost one hundred per cent sure!” but that realization didn’t really matter right now, for the second reason Nasu was smiling was due to the fact that, now, he was absolutely sure he would win! With saiyan allies, at the very least, he would have other mighty Great Apes to fight alongside him! And that was incredible.
– Interesting! I have to admit, I’ve been in need of allies for quite a while. The only sort of ally I have on this planet is my younger brother, and we are estranged to say the least. – he admitted. – If you are truly willing to help me with that, and punish those lowly scums, I believe we could make a formidable team. – he said, chuckling a little bit. – Then, let me give you some Intel on our enemies! First there is the Kami of this planet, an albino saiyaness named Atsuko. She is incredibly strong, but I doubt she can control herself during the full moon. This gives us a nice advantage against her. She has a lap dog named Bernael, a demon boy whose power level could reach almost two hundred thousand! Fearsome, but nothing we can’t deal with the aid of the moon. – he paused for a short while. – Then we have the smaller fries. A human girl named Tau. Last time I saw her, her power level was around forty thousand, but she was a training junkie, so I believe she might be stronger. The hybrid brenchian-saiyan named Jarvis can be a threat too, he tends to change sides. He is not very strong, but damn, he is fast like fuck! – he roared, feeling rather annoyed to remember about the time Jarvis used his amazing speed to knock Nasu out when he had his guard low. – And a namekian named Arion. He is the weakest of them all. His power level was below ten thousand the last time I saw him. – he finished, giving the briefing on their potential foes.
Athren couldn't help but notice the nervous symptoms that Nasu had been displaying, he had a light sweat form upon his forehead as Athren revealed the time frame he had been on Earth and his purpose there, it had been possible that he was making the obvious connection with the stories of the missing Prince and the facts before him. A smile had crossed the young fighters face, maybe it was because he identified the truth of the situation of maybe it was simply due to the fact that he now had some allies in his cause. Surely that would give any saiyan a reason to smile, they had together forged a small crew that would have much higher odds of destroying the home of whomever decided to tangle with Nasu previously. It was a team that would insure that Nasu came out on top. Of course the risk of losing a fighter was present but Athren tried to not think about that, he didn't want to worry about Koma before the battle even started. If he needed too Athren would have risked his own safety for the life of the kid. This came for a various series of reasons. First and foremost, the kid reminded Athren of himself. Full of conflict and undecided emotions. He was worried about going back to Vegeta and had chosen not too. Athren of course had been in this scenario for seven years. Plus, during their time on The Nova Athren and Koma had been getting along just fine. There wasn't many issues to be had, if none at all. Athren had decided to be a big brother figure to the boy and help him out through thick and thin, he had the power to protect him and some knowledge to guide him through his troubles, though it would've been amusing to Athren to know that Koma's true brother was standing in front of him. "Whatever you're worried about, Relax." Athren commented noticing that the saiyan had been somewhat nervous. He had assumed he was over thinking the whole scenario and Athren really didn't like it at all. It was pointless, the past was the past and even if he did figure out Athren's identity what would that matter? Athren already stated that he didn't want to be hostile and that the saiyan's needed to stick together while on Earth, they had been against outnumbering odds to begin with. Any bit of assistance they offered each other should be welcomed warmly. "Stop over thinking and focus on the now." Athren said sternly, "We need to discuss details of this attack you wish to do." With that being said, Nasu began to briefly discuss minor details that surrounded the situation.
He had claimed to be grateful for the offering of assistance, Athren simply nodded his head to this comment. Everything he thought about it was already explained and Athren didn't find it as a necessity to go on about it any more than he already had, though when Nasu began to go into detail about the defenders Athren's right eyebrow arched curiously again, maybe he bit off more than he could chew. Out of the four that had been giving Nasu trouble Athren had met three of them, he had met Tau in quite an awkward scenario. He remembers how she broke down and lost herself to emotion when he explained that the saiyan race was indeed full of ruthless warriors, she wasn't a concern of his at all though he didn't wish to fight those he met in the past that had given him some sort of benefit. Then he had mentioned the demon, of course Athren didn't know his name and wasn't capable of putting the face to the scenario but he had met him as well. In fact, he was the one that drew Athren to abandon his ties to the throne because the 'shoe' didn't fit. It was a good speech and it had helped Athren, he wouldn't want to fight him either for obvious reasons. The namekian, Athren knew nothing about. Athren wouldn't hesitate to end his existence. He'd blast him as quickly as he could if he needed to drop the life out of that fighter. Though there had been another he mentioned, Atsu. She had helped him before and they may have even bonded slightly, almost to the point where Athren could have called her a 'friend'. Though, he couldn't let any of this come in the way of his mission. It was them against the Earth, he couldn't let his emotions or attachments to these people jeopardize everything that they would attempt to accomplish and he simply couldn't risk putting the life of Koma in danger. That wouldn't be suitable or fair to the young fighter. Blah, Athren felt like he was going to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. Hopefully, when the time came he would act accordingly to the situations demands. He needed to win this thing, for the saiyans that counted on him. Athren had spoken up about the names mentioned, he had a brief bit of information that could work to their benefit. "I know of two of the fighters you speak of, Atsu and Tau." Athren paused for a moment as his ocean blue eyes scanned the area and a light smirk drew across his face. "Tau hates saiyans, hell. When I told her that we were ruthless killers she almost cried. I don't think she'll be much of a problem.. Atsu on the other hand..." Athren paused again. "She's quite the stubborn woman, I've got no idea what she's capable of as I haven't seen her fight but she strikes me as unique and special. Though she's got a vital flaw. Her tail isn't trained. Squeeze that and you've taken a massive advantage over her. That's assuming we're able to get through that damn armour she wears. That won't be easy either though." Athren paused yet again, he began to think it all through. There was potentially going to be a huge battle taking place in the near future with more participants than he had originally expected. It'd be a bloody mess, though that was going to be the case Athren was excited, at least half of him was anyway. He didn't look forward to fighting with Atsu's friends either. Shaking his head lightly he began to snap out of it. He was a saiyan, he'd do what needed to be done and that was final. Word Count: 1,088 Total Word Count: 5,166

Athren was able to remain calm even when Nasu had spoken about the odds he had faced, and he mentioned that they had to prepare for the attack he intended to do, and then, after the young saiyan warrior in the white battle suit spoke about the one’s he had faced before, to his great surprise, he claimed to know two of the fighters Nasu had faced, making the black-eyed saiyan to widen his eyes and arch both of his brows. He arched it even more when he mentioned that the two people he knew were the albino saiyaness and Kami of the Earth, Atsuko, and the annoying human fighter who aided the namekian when they met, Tau. Athren smirked when he said that, and Nasu returned to a far more serious expression, staring him deep inside his odd, ocean-blue eyes.
– You know them? That’s quite… Unexpected. – he mentioned before going silent again to allow the fellow saiyan to continue speaking. Athren mentioned that Tau hated saiyans and that was obvious since the first time they had met. It was quite surprising she knew saiyans that well, to begin with, but she seemed to be familiar with them and filled with hatred toward their kind, which only made her even more annoying to Nasu. ”Humans should fear us. Not defy us! They are getting way too cocky!” he couldn’t help but to think that and get annoyed. Then he mentioned he told Tau that they were ruthless killers, which surprised Nasu. – You did? Well, it’s not a lie. – he shrugged. Most saiyans were killers, indeed, and Nasu was a killer himself: he had slaughtered thousands during his life, most of them aliens, but he had his share of human blood, just a handful of them, since he arrived on Earth, as he was trying to lay low, and a few dozen saiyans lives during the Alliance-Empire War. He was a killer, but not nearly as close as the average saiyan from the Empire, used to conquer at least two or three planets before becoming of age. They were a warrior race, after all. It was in their blood, this lust for battle.
Then, he mentioned that she shouldn’t be much of a problem, to which Nasu snorted. – Yeah, but I wouldn’t underestimate her. I fought her once, and she isn’t someone to be dealt with lightly! – he mentioned with a rather serious tone. He knew that Tau wasn’t the greatest threat, but, still, to underestimate her could have serious consequences. Nasu remembered about the time he took her for defeated and focused on trying to kill Arion, only to be struck by an odd technique that sent huge waves of pain to his body and rendered him unable to move for a while; if the girl still had stamina left on her body, and wasn’t seriously injured, he would be into some serious trouble, despite being stronger than her. Then, Athren began speaking about Atsuko, the second most dangerous of the group.
The gray-tailed saiyan said that she seemed different and special and Nasu arched one of his eyebrows, quite puzzled by what he actually meant with those words. ”I would use the word freak, but, yeah… Go figure what he means by unique and special! She is just a conceited little bitch that deserves to be seriously punished! I will beat that attitude out of her!” he thought to himelf. Atsuko was Nasu’s main target! She was the one he wanted to make suffer for her actions, for her pity, for her mercifulness! She had humiliated him more than once and on every single opportunity they’ve met, and that had annoyed him to the core of his soul. Then, Athren mentioned the one thing that Nasu already suspected, confirming that Atsuko wasn’t trained on saiyan’s way. That immediately made his mischievous, almost evil smile appear on his face, as shivers of excitement ran down his spine like crazy, filling his stomach with butterflies that seemed to fly all over it.
Athren continued to mention that she protected her tail on that armor of hers, and that it wouldn’t be easy to grab it, but if they managed to do that, she would be useless in combat. Nasu immediately laughed when he finished, feeling overjoyed and completely confident about their victory! – Hahahaha! I already suspected that, but it’s great that you just confirmed it, Athren! It doesn’t matter if she protects her tail! We will attack during the full moon, and either we will crush her with our Great Ape form, or she will transform too and lose herself! – he said, laughing a bit more. – That would be so ironic… I’m a saiyan elite! And I’m fully capable of controlling myself as a Great Ape. If she was to transform during our attack, she would follow me as her alpha due to our form’s pack mentality! Hahaha! Can you imagine it?! The protector of the Earth being also responsible for destroying their holy place?! – he laughed again, as an evil idea crossed his mind, like a poisonous arrow. – This would be almost poetic. And show that we, saiyans, are unstoppable and that even though she decided to embrace this planet, is still susceptible to her true saiyan nature! A ruthless bloodthirsty warrior! – he said, chuckling a little bit before he finally went silent again, awaiting for Athren’s response to that.
At the mention of Athren being familiar with two of four of the fighters Nasu had mentioned the younger warrior had commented on how unexpected that was. Athren completely saw the reasoning behind this statement, Athren was the heir to the throne, the last remaining member of the royal family to crown the Planet Vegeta, and yet here he was on Earth socializing with Earthlings. Of course it was unexpected, He figured Nasu didn't expect a saiyan from the empire being civil with the Earthlings, it was just unusual and abnormal. It wasn't something Athren took lightly to himself but over the course of seven years he did soften up quite a bit. He was hoping that this mission would break him from that weakness, he couldn't afford to remain soft as there was too much on the line. All the way from his own pride to the life of this 'team' they had just formed. Though it may only be temporary Athren wouldn't have himself cost the team any lives, Whether it be the newly met Nasu or Onio, Athren wouldn't accept their deaths by the cause of his softness. It wasn't something he'd take very well. He'd most likely snap if that were to happen. Not only this, but maybe he'd figure out his path in life after this all blew over. He had thought that his soft side was conflicting with whatever he was supposed to be. Sure, the young Prince had the goal of becoming a super saiyan but he didn't have a damn clue as of what to do after that. He could literally be ANYTHING he wanted yet, he didn't want anything. At least, not yet anyway. Given the initial reaction of Nasu, Athren refused to go into full details of the meetings with the two warriors. Surely Nasu wouldn't approve of Tau and Athren's little, accidental kiss that happened in a photo booth, and surely he'd shake his head at the fact that Atsu actually helped Athren when the prince found himself defeated by a namekian warrior. Neither of those situations were very saiyan like and Athren wouldn't want that getting out in the saiyan world, that wouldn't do him very good and might just damage his pride more than those events already had. Athren chuckled faintly as he responded to the unexpected comment. "It's funny, I thought you would say something like that. Though, think about it. I've been here for seven years and I'm assuming they're some of the strongest that this planet has to offer. It was only a matter of time until the two of them and I collided." With that being said, Athren paused and began to move onto some of the other things that were being shot back and forth between the two saiyan fighters. Nasu had mentioned that Tau shouldn't be taken lightly, this very well could have been a true statement. Athren would take it like he took all fights, he'd proceed with caution and be very precise with his movements until he saw an opening. "I'm not too worried about her, I'll stay sharp though. Since you suggest it." It wasn't very often that Athren would take battle plans from another fighter, in this case it was best. Nasu was the one that fought her before so he had known the situation best. Athren wasn't going to let his pride toss this one in the opponents bag for them, he needed to be smart and effective. It was good to exchange information to make the fight's edge lean to their side.
Upon Athren's information about Atsuko, Nasu began to laugh. Surely he had expected that. She wasn't born and raised on a saiyan filled Planet, she didn't know any better. Of course, Athren did tip her off but he highly doubted that she took the time to train it. If she had though, it would complicate things slightly. It was then that Nasu had spilt more of his plans out and onto the table. He mentioned it being under the glow of the full moon and the potential outcome of it all. He was bound and determined to show this world what the saiyan race was capable of. Athren was amused by it all, it brought his own motivation for it all even higher than anticipated. Though, Athren needed to come clean about his own failure to control the great Oozaru form. He didn't want his team being in the dark about it. Just in case Athren transformed unintentionally. "Well, Let me tell you this then. I'm incapable of controlling the Oozaru form, simple reason being I didn't exactly have the privilege of working on it. The one who was assigned to train me had more strategical methods to train me and a more formal way of thinking. It was a double sided blade though." Athren paused for a moment before continuing into more words. "I assume they expected me to learn it myself but I haven't found myself staring into many full moons since my time on Earth. I intensively train during the day and sleep well at nights." With that all being said, Athren came to a stop. He was positive that Nasu would get amused by this. It wasn't every day that a saiyan from the empire at the age of twenty two was incapable of controlling the Oozaru form. Hell, in all honesty. Athren was positive that if he tried to control it, he could. He just didn't find a benefit to it after he had achieved the super saiyan form. "I'll try and keep my eyes off the moon. I'll be much more effective that way, plus it gives us a diverse fighting force." It was now that Athren had nothing else to add to that part, he had spoken all that was needed to know about his lack of transformation control. Hell, who knew. Maybe he'd achieve super saiyan during the fight? He wasn't planning on it or even thinking about it being a possibility, but it COULD happen. Word Count: 1,011 Total Word Count: 6,177

It was a good thing Athren was at peace, after all, he was about to clash against his acquaintances in order to assist a person he had just met, for the sole purpose of showing the earthlings how might the saiyans are. While it would make little sense for most races on the universe, it made perfect sense to the saiyans. They were among the proudest races on the universe, along with the Kold demons and the Herans, but, to be fair, the saiyans could be even more prideful most of times, and they liked that pride, it was the main trait that pushed them forward, that allowed them to tap into legendary power and stand above all other races. Of course they weren’t as strong as the Kold demons when young, but their ability to keep on improving was what made them what they were, and, when Athren spoke, he just confirmed such a racial background: the saiyans lurked at strong people, wishing to fight and defeat them so that they could become better themselves. Athren knew he would someday clash against the strongest of Earth, and now that the opportunity to win was at hand, like a true saiyan, he was seizing it. – Perfect. – Nasu simply answered to his new comrade’s fist sentence. Then, Athren remarked that he wasn’t too much worried about Tau, but would keep in mind Nasu’s words. The young saiyan warrior chuckled a bit and nodded a couple times. – She has a stunning technique that causes absurd pain to our nervous system. Keep that one in mind. – he said, giving yet another tip about Tau’s fighting style and aces up her sleeves.
Then, when they went to the topic about Atsuko’s inability to control her Great Ape form and the risk that it caused to her comrades, Athren admitted he couldn’t control himself as a Great Ape, which really surprised Nasu, that immediately opened his mouth, incapable of speaking anything, arching both of his brows and widening his pitch-black eyes quite a lot. ”What?! He can’t control himself as a Great Ape?! But… Isn’t him supposed to be the…” but, before Nasu could even finish his trail of thought, Athren continued his speech, explaining that the person responsible for his training didn’t really put much effort into helping him with seizing control over his monstrous form. Truth be told, even for saiyan’s elite, to control the Great Ape form required years of intense training, dedication, and some uncanny ability to channel their inner-primitive rage as fuel and determination. Nasu himself only had managed to achieve mastery over his Great Ape form about a couple days ago, and that was only because he was feeling completely determined to accomplish such a feat. – Well… Truth be told, I just managed to retain my consciousness about a couple days ago, and I did that because I was feeling completely adamant about my revenge, and I thought I would be all by myself. I’m still really proud to be able to harvest all of that power. – he simple said, without any ill-will towards Athren; he wasn’t judging him for that. Then, when the ocean blue-eyed saiyan spoke about keeping his eyes off the moon so that he could be more effective, Nasu nodded in agreement.
– Yeah, I think it will be better that way. I will be the power horse while you and your comrades deal with the others. I will be far too big to reach them if they try to hide in that annoying lookout structure. And I don’t want to just blow it to pieces when I get there… I want to fight them, and I want to light the dark flame of despair into their shitty hearts! - he said, almost in a roar, clenching his right fist after unfolding his arms. Then, he chuckled a bit and nodded again. – Then, it’s settled, Athren. I will be expecting you on the Lookout, above Korin’s Holy Grounds, to the extreme west, tomorrow, on the last day of the full moon, as soon as the moon reaches the middle of the sky. You can track me with that scouter of yours; I will keep my communication channel open for anyone in the proximity. – he said, pausing for a brief second. – Make sure to bring your comrades with you. It’s better to be safe than sorry! – he said, chuckling once again as he took a few back-steps, putting some distance in between them.
Then, Nasu flared his ghostly-white ki aura around his body. – Farewell. I will see you in battle! Hahaha! – he said in a quite excited tone. Following that, the young saiyan warrior in the white battle suit jumped towards the skies, leaving towards the South, leaving but a trail of white ki energy behind him as he scratched the skies of Earth. An unlikely alliance had been formed on that fateful day, and Earth would bleed for that, as the power of the saiyans once again put the safety on the Blue Marble at stake.
