Shinjins [Major Race]

Appearance: There are but two different variations of the Shinjin, depending on which fruit they were born from, although still very similar

For those born from the normal fruit, they tend to sometimes sport antennas in their cheeks. Their skin has more varying tone from any color, such as blue, pink, light green, red, etc. They always sport pointy ears and they tend to be quite chubby, but there are exceptions.

For those born from the golden fruit, they tend to be much more good looking and impressive. Their skin has less varying tone, and even when they go to purple and pink tones, they tend to be quite light. They always have hair in light tones, usually white, and most of them sport some sort of Mohawks. On top of that, they are born with a pair of Potara Rings in their ears.

Background: Shinjin are native from the Planet Kaishin, located in the afterlife dimension of the seventh universe. On this planet there are gigantic trees called the Kaiju, or World-Tree. These trees sprout beings called Shinjin from their magical fruits. These Shinjin can possibly take the role of a Kai if they are incredibly lucky or if born from a more special fruit, the Golden Fruit, they become the mighty and powerful Kaioshin.

Due to their mystical nature, there are few Shinjin in the universe, and their population is never larger than 80 people. From those 80 people, only 5 can become Kais, which are the protectors of the sections of the galaxy. On top of that, the Kaioshin, even fewer, numbering a maximum of 5, are the absolute gods of the universe, responsible for all the creation, with their might wisdom and power. They watch over the people all over their section of the universe and, from time to time, intervene with the world of the living in order to assist them.

While most Shinjin are good in nature, it’s possible for a shinjin to be born corrupted, or become corrupted during their lifetime. Those corrupted shinjin are cast into the Demon Realm, to be kept separate from the civilization.

The average shinjin possess special abilities that far surpass that of any sort of un-trained normal being. Shinjin live leisurely lives, studying various things at a school-like castle. The shinjin may have gender, but it doesn’t matter reproduction-wise, since they will always be born from the Kaiju tree. They live thousands of years, with the normal time span of a shinjin being roughly 75,000 years, while a Kaioshin is capable of reaching the far above millions.

Whenever one of the Kai on the Kai planets passes away, the Shinjin draws lots among themselves to choose who will take the Kai’s place and become the new Kai. The Supreme Kais, however are chosen only from among Shinjin bron from the Golden Tree, and most of the times, those Shinjin are only born when another dies, and naturally takes their place.


Both Shinjin:

Dimensional Telepathy: The Shinjin can use his telepathy all across the universe, as well as other dimensions, being able to communicate with both the living world and the afterlife.

Greater Wisdom: Shinjins are wise and magical. Due to that special nature, they are capable of sensing when something important is going to happen. They don’t know what is going to happen in detail, but they always can tell if it’s something good or bad. They are the guardians of the universe, after all.

Tied to the Afterlife: Shinjin usually cannot leave the afterlife, except, if a Supreme Kai, in particular situations, or if someone takes them to the living world. This peculiarity allows them to, in case they die, to keep their body with no cost, but, on the other hand, they gain only half their grade when they are in the living world. They just don’t belong there.

Normal Fruit:

Extended Lifespan: Shinjin born from the normal fruit have an incredible lifespan of 75,000 years.

Golden Fruit:

Near Immortality: Shinjin born from the golden fruit have an absurd lifespan of over millions of years.

Potara Earings: To avoid the tampering of strange connections like hiccups in the eons of the past. New powers have been discovered for these grand jewels. Allowing them to help further aid their pupils, protectors, and those that they see fit and can stand before them. 
[While wearing one earring themselves and the other one someone of their choice. A kai can grant a extra 25% to PL gains to someone that is wearing the other earring on the same ear as the remaining is still on the Kai.]

Note: A kai can instantly poof this object back to their hand in a instant anywhere. However to give it to someone they must hand it over in person. As well as the reward is only available when both the Kai wearing one and the chosen recipient wearing the other are both in the same topic. 

Kai Kai: Whenever they sense an impending threat, the Shinjin can teleport himself to the world of the living to assist them. During a risk of a Saga capable of conquering or destroying an important place, the Shinjin can travel to the living world for 3 bonus threads with the goal of warning/assisting the people in danger. This temporarily lifts their natural restrictions and penalties. After the threat is dealt with, they will only be able to post one final thread, if they still haven’t used all threads they had. This cannot be used twice in the same month.

Rare: There can only exist 5 shinjin born from the golden fruit at the same time. No other shinjin of this kind will be born while the others live. The sole exception is when a shinjin born from the golden fruit becomes corrupted, as it counts as dead for the Kaiju tree.

Rulers of Creation: Due to being the Rulers of creation, Kaioshin have a little more leniency in interacting with mortals compared to normal Kais. Mechanically this represents as being able to have up to 3 threads anywhere in the Living Realm once a month without restrictions! 

Note: One small alteration here. Just so its known for Golden Fruit Supreme Kai and lower Normal fruit north, south, east, and west kais.



Their jurisdiction falls at thus in the rp able areas. If a Quadrant is not being overseen by a PC, then the currently existing ones have a little say in those quadrants.

Normal Fruit Path:

Shinjin: A normal fruit shinjin, when it is born, holds great power that is showcased right from the start, however from here, they need to decide what to do with that power through training. {Upon Creation} [x5 perm]

Ripened Fruit: Through training and growing stronger, a Shinjin's natural power will surge to about double its original strength, becoming more easily attuned to its growing body. {Requires 90k PL} [x10 perm]

Kai: Of the Shinjin, four will surpass the others and be granted a seat among the four quadrants of the Universe as a Kai. These Kai become watchers over their own quadrants, always on the lookout for the strongest and most worthy fighters to be trained in their arts. {Requires 130k PL} [x18 perm]
-Cap of 4. When a fighter is selected for After-Life Training, you may train the dead person in the Techniques in the manner of a Martial Arts School. May not teach these to yourself or people not deemed worthy.

Grand Kai: Through hard work and determination through their work a single Shinjin can become the Grand Kai that watches over the rest of the Kai's work with intense dilligence. He is their supervisor, only falling in rank to the Supreme Kai's and the Grand Supreme Kai themselves. {Requires 220k PL, "Kai"} [x25 perm]
-Cap of 1. Free's up one of the Kai slots due to that being a prerequisite to move from. Allows you to Vouche for fighters who have died to get After-Life Training, but you can't Train them yourself.

Supreme Kai’s Attendant: Often, a Supreme Kai will pick out one worthy Shinjin who has reached a certain milestone in their power. This Shinjin cannot be a Kai due to the Supreme Kai's understanding that the Kai's have their own jobs. This selected Shinjin will become the Supreme Kai's personal attendant, and each Supreme Kai only gets one that they will keep forever. As such they should be chosen wisely. {Requires 350k PL, "Ripened Fruit"} [x35 perm]
-Cap of 5, 1 per Golden Fruit. Allows you to travel alongside the Supreme Kai that selected you whenever they use "Kai Kai".

Yggdrasil: Born of the Kaiju Tree, the Shinjin have a final power surge at the end of their training no matter who or what they are. This change is spiritual from the Kaiju tree and enhances their power to an equilibrium {Requires 440k PL} [x42]

Golden Fruit Path:

True Power: The Shinjin are naturally creatures capable of amazing feats and incredible power. They can use their natural ki energy to unlock their true potential. {Upon Creation} [x10]

Superior Power: When a Shinjin grows stronger, so does their inner strength. They are the gods of creation and protectors of the universe. When they reach some degree of mastery over their amazing ki energy, their body is capable of generating even more energy, which, allows them to become much stronger if the need arises. This transformation is tiered.

Corrupted Supreme Path:

Demonical Form: When a Shinjin born from a golden fruit becomes corrupted, they gain the blessing of the Makyo Star. Upon bathing under their light, the corruption inside their body overflows and they drastically change, becoming large dragon-like creatures. Their hair grows until it reaches their waist.
