Unsurprisingly, Tomina had thought before she acted. It turned out Kinoko was Nasu’s queen, and by extension his mate. She had just threatened the second in command of the Kingdom. Fortunately she hadn’t actually attacked her or charged up an attack, so Nasu was fathering forgiving of her. Forgiving as far as Saiyans went anyway. He made it very clear what would happen if she didn’t accept her as her queen. Tomina lowered her hand and knelt before the both of them on one knee.
“My apologies. I didn’t realize who she was. Excuse me for my hasty judgement, King Nasu, Queen Kinoko.”
Tomina nodded to each of them in term, her eyes staying on the Queen for a little longer. Even though Nasu has accepted her, she was still initially suspicious of Kinoko. Even though Nasu said he had a technique that would weaken the Demon Queens influence, who knows what kind of tricks she had up her sleeve? She might have a way to control Kinoko, even if she knew a technique to resist it. Still, there wasn’t any she could do about Nasu’s decision at the moment.
Tomina raised her head, her gaze turning to Carva as he spoke to her. He had a very noticeable red flush on his face. Tomina didn’t know if it was because of her or the scantily clad Kinoko. Either way though, this guy would be very easy to control. She could tell right away that he would succumb to her charms if she wanted to put the effort in. She simply smirked at him her eyes shifting up and down to look at him.
"Well, since I'm alive and kicking, It's a safe bet to assume that I'm alive. Although my opponent actually hit me pretty hard with one of his attacks. Wasn't enough to keep me down though. You seemed to have an easier time then I did. It must have been fun, punching dummies that bled whenever you hit them."
Tomina turned her attention back to Nasu the moment she was done talking to Carva. When her new King asked her about who she was and her background, she was very quick to respond to him.
“One day I hope to never have someone ask me that question. I want people to take one look at me and know my name. I am Tomina, a former warrior of the Saiyan Empire. I was handpicked by Queen Lettis herself to be a member of her Royal Guard at the age of 8. I have fought in numerous campaigns throughout my life. Out of all of them, two stand out the melt. The first one was being a part of the task force that invaded Natto. I served under Miso during that battle. The second was the Saiyan-Alliance war fought on Planet Vegeta. Both of those fights ended in our defeat, despite our best efforts.”
Tomina looked down at the ground, gritting her teeth as her aura flared up. Despite the power she had, she was unable to preserve the Empire in the end. No matter hard she tried, it seemed like her enemies were one step ahead of her. Well no more! Tomina wasn’t going to let the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom fall. She took a deep breath, her body relaxing as she looked back up at her king.
“I’ve spent the last 8 years training and honing my skills for the day where I could guide the Saiyan race back to prosperity. I thought I was going to have to train many more years before I could reunite with true Saiyan warriors. I shall continue to train hard while serving you. I failed Queen Lettis utterly, and I want to redeem myself for that failure. If you give me the chance, I will serve you and your Queen well, King Nasu. I won’t let what happened to the Empire befall the Galactic Kingdom.”
Of course, Kinoko herself hadn’t taken to the threat very kind.y. Tomina definitely wouldn’t have taken kindly to it either. She had gotten off easy since she wasn’t going to do something to someone Nasu was looking to recruit. Although now she was making her play fetch duty. Tomina climbed back to her feet, once again bowing her head towards Kinoko.
“As you wish my queen. I’ll have him before you in a few minutes.”
Tomina waited for Nasu and the others respond to how she answered his question. She did want to know where she stood after all. After that she left though, heading back towards the east to retrieve her fallen opponent. Once she was out of range, Tomina gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. She HATED the fact that she was going to have to take orders from Kinoko. At least Nasu was a Saiyan that was vastly superior to her in combat. Kinoko was an experiment whose hair kept on changing color in a very strange way.
I’ve got to keep an eye on her. Nasu is blinded by her charms, so this is one risk that he might overlook. Men are all the same, no matter how strong they become. They’re easy to woo and they become complicit once you do. Even if she insists she wants to break free from the Demon Queen, this could still end horribly if Nasu lets his guard down.
Despite certain misgivings and all the horrible things that had happened to her up to this point, Tomina could barely contain the joy she felt over the birth of the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. History had been made on Planet Saiya. For the first time in 8 years she felt like she belonged somewhere. Her future was looking very bright. All Tomina had to do was get stronger and stronger and be patient.
Nasu is the strongest Saiyan in the Universe, and he certainly has the right mindset. That being said, everyone here still needs a little molding. In time they will all have the mindset of a true Saiyan. All I have to do is be patient and bide my time. As long as I train my hardest, I will eventually ascend to Nasu’s level. One day the Galaxy will belong to the Saiyans, and I will be their ruler. After all, time is on my side.
It would prove to be very difficult, but Tomina could swallow her pride and bide her time. Nasu would vanquish their greatest foes and bring the Saiyan race back to its former glory. They would repopulate and crush all who stand in their way way.
Tomina reached the site where she battled, and picked up Hakobe and slung him over her shoulder. She then flew back to the palace with her prisoner in tow.
