Personality:
Taiga is typically a calm, collected individual who prefers to take action in steps. Observe, consider, act; in that order. This can sometimes lead to him dragging out combative situations, or even go as far as to use other individuals to study particularly strong enemies. He is not one to defy a direct order from a superior, but he has no qualms in taking utilizing his own methods if he deems them to be more efficient.

Likes - 

Obedience - Taiga is highly militaristic, and highly respects the chain of command. He follows orders, and expects the same of his subordinates.

Sweet Foods - When it comes to sweet drinks, meals, and the occasional junk food, Taiga loves to sit down and enjoy the morsels. He won't just wolf it down, and can sometimes take longer than most to actually fully consume a meal simply because he eats them slowly to enjoy the flavor.

The Empire - His loyalty to the Empire, and to its people, are second to none. Taiga does not believe that harming troops for failure or incompetence is necessary. Rather, he believes that everyone has the potential to do great things, from civilians to the royal family. Everyone deserves the chance to prove themselves in his eyes.

Dislikes - 

Unnecessary Destruction - While Taiga is not above destroying an enemy force, he is opposed to wanton destruction that serves no true purpose other than for the sake of it.

Insubordination - Given Taiga's preference to obedience, it comes as no surprise that he deeply resents individuals within the ranks who blatantly disobey or disrespect the chain of command.

Aspirations: The one thing Taiga wishes to accomplish is to prove himself worthy of commanding the Empire's forces, and show the Royal clan that even the lower born are quite capable if they apply themselves appropriately.

Appearance:
Standing at just barely over five feet tall, Taiga isn't exactly visually intimidating. His primary skin color is a bright red, while blue markings frame his face beneath his eyes and around his mouth and nose. Four horns crown the carapace surrounding the top and back of his somewhat large skull; and his crimson eyes give him a piercing gaze. He dresses in the formal attire expected of the military, with one of the more recent battle jacket designs covering his torso.

Backstory:
Taiga is a proud member of the Frost Empire, serving loyally within the ranks of the Frost Forces. While he does not hold a particularly high rank, he does hold a reputation for being a calculative, serene individual in the face of adversity, as well as never ordering his troops or squad to do things he is not willing to do himself. He joined the Frost Forces shortly after coming of admissible age, but made no truly impressive impressions during his induction training or exams. His strength seemed to be more akin to the expected average of other species, but Taiga has since gained considerable power, and often looks back on the issue as proof that persistence pays off.

Most, if not all, of his battle experience comes from conflicts with privateers or mercenary forces that attacked imperial holdings or worlds. Sometimes, non-member worlds have hired the Frost Forces to combat these very same aggressors. The worst experience Taiga has dealt with, was a battle against a rogue Saiyan who had defected from the otherwise heroic kingdom. The battle cost not only the lives of Taiga's entire squad, but thousands of helpless civilians on the Planet Mayonnai. The event deeply influenced Taiga's views, and to this day he vows never to purposely endanger those who cannot fight for themselves.
