It felt like a year ago now, at least in her own mind after a visit to the Time Chamber... A year since she visited her home, and a year since she had a discussion with Bernael in a forest. At that point in time, he asked if he could ever pay a visit to the Temple that she grew up in. The Albino Saiyan didn't have the answer at the time, but now she did. Her family was understanding, and even if they didn't react well to the half demon... She would be able to end any fights without bloodshed.
Due to this thought, Atsuko was currently making her way up the mountain with her companion. "I hope you don't mind the cold, it always snows here. Life here can be quite harsh, but... We've adjusted to it. It makes us more prepared for things to come.", she commented to Bernael. A year ago she made a similar trip up the mountain with someone else... The Knight chose not to recall his name. She didn't want to remember anything about him because it soured her mood. But just like back then, she made a small detour from the road up to the Temple.
The Saiyan led him to a crater, and in the middle of that crater was the now ruined space pod. "This is where they found me. They described the event like it was a shooting star that crashed on the mountain that they called home. Then... I spent my entire life being raised by them. I'm told that I was quite violent back then, but they were able to help me tame that... I shudder to think just how differently I would have turned out if I was still raised by the Saiyans.", the Knight stated with a somewhat grim tone of voice.
Her thoughts turned to Komatsu and Nasu. Honestly, every single Saiyan that she ran into up to this point... They were all lusting for destruction. Having no care about using their power on anything they deemed beneath them. The Saiyans were a race of ruthless conquerors. "I still have those thoughts where I despise my race. I ended up so different from them somehow... Even though the urges are still there, I force them back. I try to be something that befits a Holy Knight. And...", she glanced over to Bernael now, pausing slightly.
"Well, I suppose now I try to be something that befits a Kami as well. I still worry about what would happen if I failed in those ideals.", she explained. The Knight was true to her word, even now... She didn't want to imagine what failure would bring. It wasn't just something that would hurt her own pride anymore, it was something that could endanger all of Earth. She was the Guardian now. She had an obligation to be successful, at least, that was how it went in her mind. Perhaps it was merely insecurities, she couldn't recall any of the teachings being so strict.
Whatever the case was, Atsuko still didn't want to see what would come to pass if things went down that path... So she shook her head, casting the dark thoughts aside. "I overthink things... I'm not like them.", the Albino Saiyan finally said, then casting her gaze upwards. The Knight proceeded to point out a structure that could be made out even from this distance. "That's the Temple up there. It feels like I haven't been back in ages... I know in reality, it hasn't been that long. That Hyperbolic Time Chamber is... Certainly something, indeed."
With that, the Knight began to lead the half demon up the mountain once more. "Our Order has spent so many years in isolation, constantly preparing for a war. Looking back, it's... Actually sad. I've had so many good experiences just by leaving the walls. And I learned that Demons as a whole are not as they are described in history.", Atsuko stated as she smiled at Bernael. "I hope they can see the same things that I do. We've spent so long clinging to the past, but things can be different now. We can still be Defenders."
The Knight began. "But we don't have to be in isolation either... We don't need an entire lifetime just dedicated to a war that we're always frightened of. And we don't need to be scared of an entire race... But they should be made aware of the enemies that we do have. As well as...", the Albino Saiyan paused. She needed to tell her Order about what she became. The Saiyan was no longer a mere Holy Knight, she was a Kami now. This trip had several matters to address, and the unknowns were starting to get to her. Atsuko just tried to remind herself she wasn't alone.
No matter what, she wasn't doing any of this alone. Her friends were always there, and her family... They would be there too. If she had to, the Knight would make them see reason. Finally she stopped in front of the massive doors, and she turned to her friend. "Here we are. I don't know if they'll be able to tell what you are right away or not. If you want to tell them what you are right away, I'll be right there to vouch for you. I can promise you that.", the Albino Saiyan stated.
And then she turned back to the massive doors, and began to push them open. Just like before, members of the Order were waiting to greet her... Atsuko smiled, waving to them. "Things haven't changed like I kept thinking they would have...", she stated. The concept was still getting to her, to spend an entire year training in a single day. But this was proof that it was real. She came back stronger for it, and none of the world changed like it would have over the course of so many days. She lets out a small sigh of relief.
There were still many things to be done here. First, Bernael needed the chance to introduce himself to the others...
Demon Heart [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Makyo Star Power [x10], Full-fledged Demon [x11], Demon Lord [x17], Demon King [x23], Darkness Demon [x29], Hybrid Potential [x43]

Bernael would slowly roll his shoulders, adjusting his flak jacket on his body as the heavy weights continued to weight him down slightly. He was so much more used to them, than from when he first started this adventure, but the mountain was helping him get used to it a little more, plus the cold conditions was training all on its own, even if there wasn't something else that they would be here for, but that other thing was something he was quite interested in. The demon boy would shake his head. "No, I don't mind the cold too much, I've been up here in the north a lot, just not in this part of it is all, I kind of like training here it provides good training." he would say, thinking about every time he had came to train in these parts being interrupted by some problem or another.
Though, before continuing all the way up, it seemed that they would take a detour, into a different part of the path. Bernael wasn't all that worried about it though, he was with somebody he trust, in fact, aside from his own mother, he trusted Atsuko more than anybody else in the world. This caused him to slightly let his guard down around her, at least in the sense of what she would want him to do, but he needed to always keep his guard up in case of outside sources. If it was any other person aside from somebody he knew or trusted, this detour would be quite suspicious. "Hmmmm, crash site eh? Yeah this does indeed look like an impact zone of one of those sphere things..." the demon boy would speak up, before he would quiet down to listen to everything the saiyaness would have to say.
He would slowly start to reach his hand out towards her before slowly pulling it back, he didn't want to disturb her too much, and her tone of voice didn't seem all that good, he was worried about her but he decided he should hold off for the time being, thus he would nod to her slowly, trying to give her his full attention, while not breaking her from her focus of topic. As she turned to look at him, he would stare back, not saying anything still, listening to all of her explanation. "Yeah, I understand Atsuko... I believe in you though, just know that. I just know you will be able to befit your position as Kami, as well as a Holy Knight, and most of all as you.." he would say with a smirk at the end.
But it seemed that they were moving on now, so he looked up towards he structure that she would point at. "Yeah, it really is hard to take in that a year ago for us, was everything before the time chamber, but that was only a very small time period for anybody else outside of it. That place... certainly is something else indeed. I am glad that I could spend that time with you though" he would muse as he saw the structure. He didn't think too much on his words before he would follow after Atsuko up the mountain to reach the temple.
A smile grew on Bernael's face in response to Atsuko and her smile, it was a nice thing to see and he perked up knowing his friend had some joy with everything here. "I am glad that you've had good experiences, I hope that you can continue to have more good experiences as well, and I truly hope that they see those things too, if they become absolute defenders, that can benefit earth so much more as well, instead of just preparing for... sinister me I guess" he said, looking up towards the building. Would the people there truly accept them? Or would he be rejected almost immediately, even if he was different than old history would state. Even if every other demon in the universe was bad, would he be shut out absolutely for being one of them, for something he couldn't control? He really hoped that perhaps they would accept him, that they would let him be around Atsuko and her family. He shook the thoughts from his head, they were bad and negative thoughts and he needed to get more positive out of the situation.
"Yeah, instead of being so targeted against just one race, they could perhaps help out against any race that puts a threat against this planet... and maybe clear some people of those races, if they aren't bad... perhaps." Bernael would say, looking towards the floor. Once again his mind was on if they would reject him, he wanted to be cleared of his race heritage, at least the bad part of it. However his fists slowly tensed up as they arrived. "So this is it huh... I hope they don't find out just yet, I want to give a good first impression to your family before just, telling them of my mixed heritage, if I just go out they might not give me a chance.. but thank you for vouching when it does come" he would then add on, looking down before shaking his head. He wanted to go through with that plan, and soon at the very least. If he could just give them a good idea of him, they could maybe accept him easier.
It was then that he would tense up a bit more, the members were there, they could see him now since he wouldn't move to try and hide or run away or anything. The boy slowly relaxed as he would wave his hand to the members inside that he could see. He didn't really know what to say for the time being, but he just shyly smiled at the people that he saw. What would they think? Would they instantly find him out before he said anything? None of those answers, Bernael knew for the time being. But he would start to introduce himself slowly, without giving too much right off the bat. "H-Hello, I am Bernael Adonael, its nice to m-meet all of you" he would say, his shyness breaking through a bit too easily. Would this have been a bad idea?

Her friend ended up saying quite a lot during their little trip up the mountain. Atsuko ended up a little more preoccupied than she anticipated, there was just so much for her to deal with, and it didn't show any signs of slowing down. The Albino Saiyan couldn't afford to falter, either. She had to keep pace and rise to the occasion... The half demon stated that the cold didn't bother him very much. In fact, he seemed to be adjusting to it quite well, from what the Albino Saiyan could tell. The training they were under benefited him immensely.
Just as much as it helped her. The Knight could feel the difference in her weighted cape. And she felt like soon it wouldn't affect her anymore. While that was great, it meant that she would lose what made her training so useful. Still, she had come far. Maybe it would be enough for the Saiyan to be able to find others ways to gain benefits to her training. One could certainly hope, in any case... Next, Bernael mentioned the crash site, and how it looked like the others he had seen. It was something she couldn't deny. She saw one of the Saiyans arrive in it...
Though everyone that had been coming to Earth now, they were adults. Atsuko was a mere baby when she first arrived on Earth. The Albino Saiyan questioned why it was that the Saiyans would send their own children off world, with scarce protection or plan for the future. The Knight could only guess that she was originally sent here to conquer Earth. It wouldn't have mattered even if she succeeded in that goal, no one came to check up on her. Just like with Cambia... They were alone here now, no ties to the Saiyan Empire.
Then, he responded to what Atsuko said about her Order. They both shared the concerns about the fact that they viewed Demons with such hostility. It most likely wasn't unfounded, but that was in the past. There was proof of Demons that weren't entirely evil, and were in fact quite far from it. And they needed to prepare for more than just a singular threat. The Saiyans were on the rise, and she could feel as though other evils were lingering, waiting for their chance to strike... Likely once everyone tired themselves out from a pointless battle.
Nasu's words rang in her mind... He still intended to take revenge. How was he going to do it? Was she ready? The Albino Saiyan hoped so, a year's worth of training... If she failed now, it would be a massive blow. All the Knight could do was cast her fears aside and attempt to keep moving forward. Finally, Bernael thanked her for offering to vouch for him when the time comes, and the Knight nodded in response. "Of course... You're my friend, I've helped you many times, just as you've helped me. It's only natural that I do this."
The Albino Saiyan stated truthfully, then the half demon began his greeting towards the others. "Oh, another friend of Atsuko's? Welcome! Though you are not a member of our Order, we hope that you enjoy the time here, Bernael Adonael.", the man spoke politely, then offering the salute that the Knight had used a few times before. The Saiyan smiled, returning the salute. Standing up straight and tall, a fist placed on her chest, over her heart. "Thank you for welcoming my friend. I have much to discuss with my brothers and sisters, can you gather them for me?", she asked.
He gave a nod in response. "Aye. Shall we have a meal in the hall, then? Everyone is eager to hear your stories.", the man added. "Yes, that will do. My friend and I will be there shortly!", with that, the polite man in robes set off to gather the others, leaving Atsuko turn to Bernael once more. "Well. If you're not hungry, you can have something to drink. No alcohol, but... We do use the fruit that we find to make something with a little more taste to it, if you prefer.", the Knight said calmly to her friend.
She then ushered the half demon inside calmly, and closed the doors once they were both inside the Temple's courtyard. There were hardy trees that were bearing fruit even despite the harsh conditions. Crops and bushes as well, nature had it's way of working miracles. And perhaps the Monks had their hand in forming all of this as well. The condition of the walls and structures were very well kept, great care went into it all. Honestly, the worst part about it is... Once you arrived here, this was all that you would see. But it wasn't the worst place, at least.
It was very quiet and peaceful here. It was a place that melded well with the Albino Saiyan. "So... This is my home, I spent eighteen years here. If you ever wondered why I came off as odd sometimes... I suppose the answers are here.", she stated as she began walking calmly through the courtyard with him. Right now there was no rush, the Knight was just enjoying the time back home. Soon enough they would be going into the hall in order to have important discussions, but right now... She just wanted to take it all in again.
The Albino Saiyan took in a deep breath of the fresh air. "Even though I've been spending my time on the Lookout... There's nothing that compares to my home. I always feel so relaxed here.", the Saiyan commented. Atsuko hoped that her friend found the place just as welcoming. No matter what happened today, the Albino Saiyan would always call this place her home. And the people here would always be her brothers and sisters. "Well, we have a little time to talk, if you'd like. One of them will come and get us when they're all ready."
The Saiyan stated as she looked to Bernael with a smile. Her training was important, as was the defense of Earth. But... Moments like this needed to be cherished too. If the Knight kept going at the rate that she was... There would be a point where she would break down, they was no denying that. Atsuko probably wouldn't have admitted it herself, however.

The demon boy would nod to the man. "I am sure I will enjoy my time here, sir" Bernael would say, his shyness was slightly going away, with how nice and polite the man responded to him. When he saw their salute, he thought on it for a moment but decided not to do it himself. It was their salute for their order, he wasn't apart of it. It could potentially come off as very rude if he decided to use it himself back to the people. Though, the flip side was if he didn't do it back, that he didn't have good intentions, he hoped the other side wasn't what would happen since he would end up not doing the salute.
Bernael would nod slightly, the idea of gathering for a meal sounded quite nice. He had many chances to sit down and have a meal with Atsuko during the time chamber, but another with her family couldn't hurt in the slightest, he was open to the idea. "I can certainly eat, but of course I'll have something to drink as well with said food~" he would say, a little energetic in tone. "And I don't mind that there is no alcohol, I haven't even tried the real stuff myself, so fruit juice certainly sounds nice to the thought." the demon boy would continue on, trying to take up his friends offer as a guest. It sounded honestly quite nice, so he had no reason to turn it down in the first place.
Following the saiyaness inside, the boy would slowly look around, it looked very well made and homely, like a little home town to nestle into for a quick stay if you were passing by. He nodded to himself as he would take it all in, so this was where his friend grew up. "Geez all eighteen years? That is basically all of it now isn't it?" the demon boy mused, thinking of Atsuko's age as he brought it up. "But if this place has the answers to stuff about you, I suppose I would like to know more from asking around~" Bernael continued on. Though he couldn't really be surprised by time sticking around in a place, as he had only recently left his home as well, though he had more than training and meditating in it all.
"Hmmm, well, that is a very natural reaction honestly. It's good to spend time with your family, thus your home is something more relaxing and, familiar, than everywhere else till you move to a new home. Though with something like this I doubt moving to a new home is very unlikely, but sure lets talk, I am up for spending time with ya till someone gets us when everything is all ready~" the demon boy would then reply, cocking his head with a smile at her. He was happy that even after a year of time together, his friend was quite opened to the idea of talking to him about stuff to pass the time. It made him happy, that he wasn't just some boring person to hang around, and that it wasn't going to just be a silent time from then on out.
Ideas flew through his head, what could he possibly talk to the girl about anyways? He didn't know how many stray ears would be listening in on them, or would just so happen to catch a bit on their way around. It was troublesome to just go talking about anything in that place, what if a word slipped that could cause the boy and his friend trouble, he certainly didn't want to cause a ruckus the first time he came to this temple with his friend, and lose the chances of coming back at any given date. The idea of talking about his heritage and how they would be able to deal with it to her family was definitely a incorrect answer for this situation. Perhaps he could tell her how he felt after all that time with her, to push it forward a little bit? Nah that wasn't a very good idea for the time being either, he could talk about it perhaps but maybe somebody would overhear and pester them about it instantly, he could wait to bring up his feelings for if anybody brought up what their connection was in the future, but for the time being he kept his mouth shut for that topic.
His eyes strayed over to the girl, as a small blush formed on his face, he didn't want to keep her waiting either, after just bringing up that he was open to more talking about stuff. Then his mind slowly trailed a bit more as he found something to talk about. "Oh... I forgot to ask. What kind of stuff are you going to be talking about in there...? It doesn't have to be too detailed or anything, but I certainly want to know what parts you are going to go over with them, and if there is anything that I can do to help explain it from my own personal experiences, or maybe even back you up if someone happens to not agree with it" the demon boy would say, his eyes were dead set on the saiyan girl, there was a smile on his face and her answer would be pulling his attention as well. He wanted to help her in this moment as well, instead of just being some extra person in the sidelines with nothing to do.
"Oh, and aside from that..." the boy would continue on as well. "Is there anything that you would want me to stay out of? Like if I am asked something, you are explaining something, or if people want me to ask stuff... what would be good things to sway away from, in terms of reacting to those things? I know I am a guest but I also want to follow the rules and everything" the boy would add onto his original question. He wanted to know the answers to those badly, so as not to mess anything up inside the meeting. This was important to him, he needed to make his first time here a good one with a good lasting impression on the members.
The Albino Saiyan smiled as Bernael gave his response, he didn't seem the type to drink alcohol, and the Knight knew that. But it was still something worth mentioning. Or at least, that's how Atsuko felt. People were used to a much more free lifestyle outside of this Temple... Cambia certainly was, her little sister was a handful, and she was always drinking from that flask... Still, the Knight tried not to muse on that for too long. "I'm sure it will be to your liking!", she responded, still smiling at the half demon. Their conversation continued on as they often do.
Bernael seemed to be a little surprised at the fact that the Albino Saiyan practically spent her entire life here, which caused her to laugh a little in response. "I know, it sounds unreal, doesn't it? But... So many things do anymore. It's true though, for eighteen years which is most of my natural life up to this point, I stayed here within these walls, or on these mountains.", the Knight stated. "All that time was spent training, or studying. Meditating too. I gained all of my ideals here. I owe who I am to this place...", the Knight added.
The Albino Saiyan could have just as easily ended up anywhere else on Earth, and turn out a vastly different person for it. Hell, she could have ended up on any number of planets that weren't Earth, too. Yet here she was, feeling more Human than anything else. Fate really had a way of making things work out, she wasn't just a normal person that called this planet home, either. Atsuko rose to an important position. Her thoughts once more returned to Cambia, who suffered through all of the bad that Earth had to offer. Atsuko couldn't deny that it existed.
She had spent long enough traveling in order to know that it was real. But she tried not to let those thoughts bother her, just like before... Bernael spoke about how it was a natural reaction to feel that way about one's home, and she gave a nod in response. "This is true. It's hard to imagine life without a comforting place like this. But I know not everyone is that lucky. My little sister... She's actually related to me, I mean. She didn't have a home like this. I'm trying to make a nice one for her."
The Knight explained in a somewhat sad tone of voice. "It hasn't been easy. Things turned out so rough on her. She's set in her ways, and finds her powers comforting.", the Albino Saiyan continued, then casting her gaze towards the half demon. "You remember the time in the forest? It's... Like that. I know that she has her reasons for embracing it, I just try to be there for her.", the Saiyan then finished. She was careful with her words, even though she didn't expect her Order to react in a bad light to them. They needed to hear these types of things properly.
The Knight just hoped she was making the right choice, it felt right to her. But what if she was biased? If someone were to confront her in that fashion... Atsuko honestly wouldn't know what to say. Other than to say that Cambia is one of the inhabitants of Earth, just as much as anyone else. And she deserves as much protection and care as a result. That was the reasoning that the Albino Saiyan always used, but there was more to it than that. There very clearly was, they were family. Atsuko felt an obligation to stick together.
Bernael then began to speak up once more, now inquiring what it was that she was intending to speak with her Order about. "Well, quite a few things. I'm going to start with what has happened in my pilgrimage. They don't know that I became Kami... And I don't know how they're going to react, either. It was a relatively foreign term to myself, but maybe the elder knows about it.", the Knight explained. It was just the first on a long list of things that she had to discuss with them. With her confession of being the Guardian of Earth...
Came what her duties meant. "After that, I'm going to explain to them that I have to defend Earth now. It's not something I just prepare for, it's something I actively perform. I want to know if they're ready to stand with us. They're an army... And we could very well have need of such an army.", the Albino Saiyan continued. It was scary to think of war that may be coming one day. But it was true, the signs were there and entirely unavoidable. It would take more than just herself and her friends in order to protect life on Earth.
Peace was a fragile thing. Their Order was founded to be certain that it would never suffer, as a result. She didn't have any doubts that they would readily fall under such a banner. The fact that she was a Holy Knight made things a bit easier, as well. "After that. To discuss my findings, of our real enemies. Of how things have changed. There's a lot for us to discuss. None of it has very easy answers... But I can't back down now.", Atsuko then finished her explanation, falling silent as Bernael then asked if there was anything to avoid.
"I can't think of anything in particular, I trust your judgement. We're a very understanding people. If things begin to escalate... I'll handle the situation, so don't worry.", the Albino Saiyan responded with a calm smile. At around that time, another one in robes approached, this time a woman. "Excuse me, we're ready for you now.", she stated. And Atsuko gave a nod. "I'll be along shortly, then.", the woman in robes then bowed politely, returning back inside the Temple. The Albino Saiyan then made a small gesture for Bernael to follow her.
Atsuko walked just as calmly as before. "Everything is going to be fine, though. I trust them. So let's try and enjoy the time together!", the Knight attempted to assure her friend, and then she stepped inside the hall. All of the tables were lined up with food and drink, and there were two seats left open for Atsuko and Bernael. The Albino Saiyan calmly made her way over, and then sat down. The entirety of the Order waited patiently for their guest to do the same. The interior was just as well cared for as the exterior.
Not too dusty, the decor was finely picked. Things of that nature, it all seemed very practical and somehow elegant. But it did speak lengths of how long ago this was all built, and just how much they cherished where they came from...

Bernael would softly sigh as he saw the sad tone that his friend gave about the situation with her sister, he was worried about what could have happened with everything, but at the very least it seemed like his friend was trying for her sister, and that was a good thing for sure. But he couldn't help but worry for how she was taking it herself, with the sad tone and all. "I understand that it hasn't been easy but... you really do have to be for her just like you said... its very important to be there for your sister in her time of need." he would say, before lightly patting Atsuko on the head, he didn't really know why he did that, but it seemed like it was a good thing to do, perhaps he could calm her down just a little bit with that. However, whether or not it worked out in a good way, everything continued on.
He listened intently to what she had to say, and nodded to himself about it. "That sounds good to me, and yeah hopefully you can get them to stand with us, if we had that kind of support, everything could potentially be a lot easier, and with it being you who is doing it, maybe it will be easier to have them side with us?" he would say rhetorically, he didn't expect an answer to the question as he just looked up, it sounded like it could help them out a lot, especially with Atsuko's job, they could use more help with stuff like that. "Well, even though the answers aren't easy, hopefully they can come pretty well, and maybe in a way that is easy to understand and be accepted" he would say, thinking on what she last had to say.
However it was time for her to answer what he also questioned, and he was sort of glad that the restrictions were so low. "Well, that is good at least, I'll make sure to hold my tongue on stuff I think I shouldn't say, and say things that will be said, only when they are deemed necessary, or when appropriate." Bernael would then reply to her, a hand on his chin. "Thank you for trusting my judgement though, I wont worry" he would then follow up with, dropping his hands back casually as they were approached by a robed woman. "Alright, we'll be right with you" he would say, following up with Atsuko's own reply so as not to just be the silent man in the town.
Seeing Atsuko's gesture, the demon boy would begin to follow her to wherever she was heading. He was sort of worried about how they would take to him, when in a room filled with everyone. But, his friend quickly assured him about his troubles being nonexistent, even before he would bring them up. Bernael would smile lightly and nod. "Right, lets try to enjoy it, I can't wait to meet your family" the boy would respond, a light smile on his face. This was a good and happy time to be apart of for him, but was it going to end up being good by the end of it all? He could only hope so.
As they arrived in the hall, the boy would take a look around. His insecurity was arising again. He had trouble being around a small group of people, but an entire order singling him out while waiting for him to take a seat was a little bit too much. With how many people were here, waiting for that action, a small sweat broke out on his face. Was this truly a good idea? Well, it honestly couldn't be too bad, these were the people who raised Atsuko to be the way she was, they were her family. There was nothing bad about it in the slightest so the boy perked up and nodded, slowly taking the remaining open seat that was left for him to sit down.
The demon boy would sit in as proper a manner as he could, he knew table side manners for the most part, but he didn't know how they would look at him if he did anything awkward or weird. He would yet to take a drink or a bite till anything else would be addressed, he was a guest in their halls, so he would respect what they had planned out or any traditions they would stand by. Trying to pass away from such things would cast a bad shadow on the boy, one that he certainly didn't want to be cast on him for the most part. He sighed a very slight sigh of relief. It was nice to be sitting down, if he was left standing for too much longer, the demon boys legs would have collapsed slightly or at least start shaking, proving more of his insecurity and shyness, especially towards the family of someone he knew.
Alas, if somebody would look too closely at his face, these kinds of insecurities and worry would be apparent on his face, he wasn't too good at hiding this kind of feeling that was going through his head, a single slip up and he could pay the price, though he trusted Atsuko had everything under control in case the need would arise, she would be able to peacefully calm down her family right? The hybrid could only hope that it wouldn't end in himself being harmed, but he knew that it wouldn't end with any of the order being harmed, he wouldn't be able to move his hand in a hostile manner like that, not against these people. If I fight broke out it would have to be him taking unnecessary hits, with the power to instantly end the fighting, being half a human and half a demon, he could probably do it right away. However, he had absolutely no intentions of raising a single finger in aggression, he would just leave as fast as he could and probably stay away to let things settle.
Hopefully, the situation wouldn't have to get that far, he believed that at most, it would end with an argument or two, and maybe some bad mouthing thrown at him at best before it would be calmed down by his friend, least he had faith that it could be disarmed as such. Only time would tell as he looked at Atsuko, unsure of what to say at this time, or if his mouth should even open at all an he should just observe. For the time being he wouldn't say a single sentence, and just smile lightly to himself, thinking of any good thoughts that could come to his mind.
Atsuko was grateful that Bernael offered what he could to comfort her. The Knight was already certain that she had to help her family. If she didn't, who would? And besides that... There was no way she would simply abandon someone in need. Even if Cambia would never admit to it, the Albino Saiyan was able to tell that her little sister was grateful for the time they spend together. It had been a little while since they interacted, circumstances ended up forcing them apart. Atsuko could only guess it was because Cambia learned about her elder sister's status as Kami...
But, it wasn't the time to be dwelling in the past. She would speak to her sister in time, Atsuko was certain of that. Instead it was time to focus on the present, she needed to be certain that her Order would follow her new goals. Or if she would end up having to branch away from them... The Knight hoped it wouldn't result in anything drastic like that, but she truly had no way of knowing how this was all going to turn out. At the very least, she was hoping for a peaceful resolution about everything that was to transpire.
The half demon seemed just as anxious as she was. Bernael seemed to be struggling to think of anything to say, just as she was. However... The uneasy air began to fade, no one looked upon them with contempt or judgement. Instead it was like they were reunited with two members of their own family, despite the fact that her friend had only just met them all. At the end of the table, an elderly man in similar garb of the Monks began to speak. "It is good to see you return to us, Holy Knight Inoue."
He began, despite his age he didn't seem helpless. Far from it, in fact. He appeared a very wise man that held a great knowledge about many things. Atsuko, just like the others, looked to him with respect. "You honor me, elder.", she states. Prompting the older man to laugh a little. "Now... Let's dispense with the formalities. Eat, everyone! No sense in letting your food get as cold as the rest of our home.", he finished. Allowing everyone to partake in their meal. The variety was rather pleasing, a selection of meats were laid out across the long table.
As well as vegetables and fruits. Other side dishes were lined up. It was almost as if it would be quicker to describe what WASN'T present. It was a proper feast to accommodate every member within the Order. And they were a fairly large one, at that. The Knight began to eat at a calm pace, for the moment there was no need for her to begin speaking to her brothers and sisters. It was just time to relax after a long journey filled with constant obstacles. There were countless days that the Albino Saiyan had that were just like this, and yet...
None of them were filled with such a sense that she had been away for an eternity. After all this time, she didn't forget her roots. Even as something as large and impressive sounding as Kami... It was important for them to return to things like this, she thought to herself. There wasn't anything particularly eventful that happened during the meal itself, small chatter among family, of course. But nothing of real note. The Knight had been putting it off, but... She did have a purpose for being here, once she finished her plate of food as well as her drink...
She took a deep breath, which seemed to gather the attention of the others. "I have several things to discuss about my pilgrimage... That's why I asked you all here.", the Albino Saiyan began. All of the monks, including the elder fell silent in order to listen to her words. The Knight probably looked as if she were bringing a message of war, she seemed so serious... "I ended up finding a sacred land, much like this one... There, I found a massive tower.", the Saiyan began to elaborate. The details of her story still didn't sound believable.
So she hoped that her brothers and sisters would know that what she speaks is the truth. "I climbed it. And there I learned of my purpose... I'm not just a Holy Knight anymore. I am a Kami.", she added further. Her thoughts briefly turned to what the illusion of Bing Gan, the previous Kami said to her. "A Guardian of Earth... A Protector. I'm not just preparing for that anymore, I'm acting upon it.", the Knight stated. The silence of her comrades was finally broken. "I see. And what is it that you have learned, Atsuko?", he inquired.
"I know who our true enemies are... They are not Demons. I know how outlandish that must sound.", she responded. The hall filled with murmurs and whispers. But the elder held up a hand, causing them to fall silent once more. "We all have many questions... I am sure she is here to answer them.", he said in a calm tone of voice, then giving a nod to Atsuko, allowing her to continue. "...I have met a few Demons. I can say that they are not evil, I am certain that there are some that do fit what we know from history..."
She soon elaborated, not wanting to let something like that just hang in the air. "But they are not here threatening Earth... I learned what my true race is. I am a Saiyan. There are others. They all hold a terrible power, and no regard for Human life or peace.", the Albino Saiyan continued. "One of the people I met has demon blood running through their veins... He's here with me now.", she then made a gesture to Bernael. "He's part demon. But he has helped me in many ways, he did not hide what he truly was."
Atsuko gauged the reaction of the Monks, which was understandably the fact that they were shocked to hear this revelation. "So I ask you, will you stand with me to protect Earth? I can't protect it alone... And I can't request that my friends always fight my battles. We need an army, and our Order has been preparing just for this occasion.", Atsuko finished. The uneasy silence filled the hall once more. All she could do was wait, hope that whatever they said or did... It wouldn't be too bad. The Saiyan wasn't sure how any of this was going to turn out...
Soon enough, they all began to rise. Offering their salute. The meaning was clear, they would join under her banner. The elder finally smiled. "Well now... It seems you've come very far in such a short time... I'm proud of your progress, Atsuko. We stand with you as we always have.", he stated. "I trust you weren't worrying yourself half to death about us casting you out of the Order and flaying your young friend here, were you? You should know us better by now!", the elder lectured. But his tone wasn't harsh, Atsuko could only smile in response.
"I was worried... But, now I know that was foolish. I'm really glad that you're all still my family, even with everything that's happened.", the Knight replied. She had gotten all worked up for nothing, it went surprisingly well!

Grabbing a random assortment of food to eat, the hybrid would eat some food slowly, so as to watch everyone else and get a gauge of them, none of them seemed to be doing much aside from talking and eating, so it wasn't very eventful and none of his worries came to a head. However, the demon boy would stop and just give his full attention to Atsuko as she would begin explaining everything to everyone there, it seemed that it was finally time for them to get down to business about her pilgrimage, and he was ready for whatever would happen during it.
He heard her bring up the sacred land, and the tower that was there. He instantly knew what she was talking about and nodded slowly, the tower that she climbed up to the top of and then go even farther up to become Kami, that day was very eventful and sort of scary as well. But everything that happened that day felt so long off compared to everything now, but it had only been a very short couple of days back that it happened in fact, least it felt like it could've been that. The boy would just think more on it, before snapping out of it and giving his attention back to his friend.
The hybrid demon smiled gently to himself with her next words, the way she said them made his heart ease up a bit, would she be able to calm that subject down this easily? It was almost like a miracle. However it couldn't work out that way, the boy tensed up when he heard everyone breaking into low conversation, maybe it wouldn't be so easy as he thought it could be just a moment ago. But Atsuko wasn't finished with her explanation yet so he eased up a bit more so as to wait for it all to be over with. Who knew what could happen if the wrong words were spoken.
It sounded more like a plus towards demons in general, so maybe him being a half blood would make his side of the bill be even more easy to get out of any bad trouble, but he continued to look at her with great intent. She then brought up her true race. The saiyans, he didn't really know too much about them, but he just thought on the few that he did meet, for the most part his views of them were pretty negative, and he wasn't ready to just accept them as a race, one of the only things that weighs in for him not absolutely hating them, is because of Atsuko herself, he couldn't dislike the entire race if it involved her being one, it just could be that he didn't like the others he met yet, hopefully more out there could be good as well.
Bernael would be nodding with a smile on his face, and then Atsuko brought up how she met someone with demon blood running through their veins, and that the person she spoke of was here with her now. He slowly sat up in his chair, tensing up slightly, she even gestured to him as if it wasn't already obvious who she was talking about. He felt like he was on display, to a bunch of people who had grown preparing for a war with people he was. He certainly wanted to come clean about his identity but wasn't this a little soon, and well wasn't it a little quick as well! The demon boys head spun, but he didn't get up or do anything, he just waited to see what would happen.
Atsuko brought up how he was only part demon, so at least maybe it would clear the air with him not being a full blood, as well as how he had helped her in many ways and how he didn't hide his identity to her. The demon boy slowly released from being tensed. Maybe this was a good thing, maybe he would get out of here alright with the help of his friend. However what he took in around him was the opposite, everyone seemed to be shocked about it. "Oh no..." he slowly mumbled to himself "What a hassle" he would then follow up with, it seemed like it wasn't going well, the shocked reaction just made him more tense, and he bit his lip slowly but not too hard. Would he really have to ditch this place so soon?
Once Atsuko was done asking of her order to stand with her as an army per say, the silence came and made Bernael quickly more tense. How could he just sit there and wait for something to happen? Though, he felt like he shouldn't make sudden movements, perhaps he was just worrying over nothing and he was going to be accepted. His worries were soon answered, as the elder finally spoke up. It seemed that everything was alright, he was in the clear and so was Atsuko. Nothing bad would happen and it was just a bad thing of the past for the two of them at that point. A sigh of relief released from the demon boys mouth as his muscles stopped being tense and he slumped back in his chair. "Man, I was worried that you guys wouldn't accept me, I really wanted to meet you all and I held off on speaking up about it... because I thought you would cast me out instantly. But it seems that I am wrong, and man am I glad that I was." the boy would chuckle lightly, sitting back up in his chair, with a gentle and pleased smile on his face.
"Well, I guess its time for me to introduce myself for reals now" The boy would say, rising from his chair to speak. "I am Bernael Adonael... son of an unknown demon man and a human woman. Although I am part demon, I am also part human... I was born and raised on this planet from the day I was born and have never been off of it, this is my home and I want to protect it no matter what." he would slowly smile more, looking over to Atsuko. "In fact... one of the first people I met since I began to roam this beautiful earth from my home town, was Atsuko herself... she has helped me so much, in fact, outside of family, she is the best person that I know, and my closest friend..." he would continue on, his smile only grew as his tone grew lighter. "I thank you all, for bringing her up the way you did, for the way she turned out... without all of you, I wouldn't have one of the most important people in my life..." a small bit of tears began to well up in his eyes, he was meeting and being accepted by the people that had been the reason for his closest friends ways, and that just made him happy enough to get emotional. He slowly sat down. "Sorry for taking your time... but I really, really want to work with you all... to protect this planet that we all love so very much... that is all~" he would say, his voice was quite energetic and happy. He just had his gaze over the entire crowd, his feelings of everything had made a full turn around from what they were just a bit ago.
In light of how things were going so well, Bernael began to speak up. He expressed how glad he was that it wasn't turning out as bad as he first thought, with a light chuckle he then stands up. "See? I knew things would work out well.", the Albino Saiyan said with a smile. With that, the entire room had now fixated it's attention on the half demon as he continued on. He wanted to introduce himself properly, and this was the perfect time to do it! The Knight agreed with that assessment, from this point on, it was all certain that they were working together.
Bernael may not ever be inducted into the Order... But he didn't need to be, he was still a Defender of Earth. He began with his full name, as well as his origin and parents. The Knight did find it a little sad that he didn't know who his father was, but she could only assume that if he abandoned a loving wife and young child... Well, there were a variety of things that came to mind. If Atsuko ever met the man, she would have more than a few choice words for him.
That was the conclusion she had come to, in any case. Her musings were brought to a bit of an abrupt end however, as he began to speak about the Saiyan in particular. The Knight perked up slightly, listening intently to what he had to say as the half demon casts his gaze towards her. "I'm glad that I met you too, Bernael... You've helped me just as much. And I consider you my closest friend as well.", she responded. The half demon continued by then thanking the Monks for raising her as well as they did. Every word was something she agreed with.
Without them... None of this would have happened. Atsuko still considered it a scary thought, how different all of this could have ended up. The Albino Saiyan could have been raised in a culture that praised her instincts. Raised her to be a Conqueror... She would have been enemies with Tau, with Bernael. With everyone here. She was fortunate, then. The Knight wasn't raised under any such conditions, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Things turned out perfect in her honest opinion. It proved to be just as emotional of an experience for Bernael.
It was easy for her to forget that he wasn't always accepted. This may well have been the first time that an entire group of people just... So readily welcomed him. They didn't ask anything return, he didn't need to do anything except be who he is. When he sat back down, the Albino Saiyan gently moved an arm around him. "No need to apologize, you've done really well. And if you ever have need... My home is yours. It extends to your family, too.", she stated. While his father may not have been around... "I know how important your mother is to you."
The Saiyan then added. There should hopefully never be a situation where Bernael's Mother would need the protection of an army, but should the need ever arise... The Order would stand ready. And he deserved to know that. The Elder then cleared his throat slightly. "In light of your accomplishments, Atsuko. I believe it is time for you to return to the Shrine. I trust you remember the way there, it was where the ceremony was held, after all.", the old man proceeded to state. Atsuko looked over to him, giving a nod in understanding. The way was still clear to her.
Atsuko proceeded to stand up, looking over to Bernael calmly. "You can come with, if you like.", she said calmly to her friend. Though then she seemed to ponder for a moment, looking over to the elder. "If, that's allowed? I mean.", she elaborated. And the elder man proceeded to nod. "I don't sense any malicious intent from him. You're a good judge of character, Atsuko. If he wishes to follow you, I have no objections.", he responded. And it seemed that none of the other Monks had any problem with that either. Perfect!
The Knight offered a hand to help Bernael stand up, whether he accepted or not she would wait for him to get back to his feet, and then calmly make her way through the Temple alongside the half demon. "The Sword Shrine is our most sacred area. Just like he said, it's where the ceremony was held... Where I became a Holy Knight. It seems so long ago now, like a lot of things... I think it would feel that way even without the Time Chamber being taken into account.", the Albino Saiyan stated truthfully towards her friend. She would have found it weird.
But it made perfect sense, just wandering around the entirety of the World. Achieving things that she never would have dreamed of. "I don't know why I'm going back there, but if I had to guess... It's something to do with the fact that I am Kami now... It could be any number of reasons, though. The Elder likes to work in mysterious ways, as you can probably tell.", the Knight commented. It was just right back to having a casual conversation like always. The Knight didn't mind, she preferred it that way really. It had gotten entirely too tense earlier.
Finally the entered a massive and empty room, several pillars line the sides and a raised altar lay at the end of the room. The Albino Saiyan calmly continued her pace down the long room. "Here we are... The silver sword I always carry with me used to rest here. The most sacred relic of our Order!", the Knight began to explain. It was still odd to think that it was something she could call her own now... But it was something that made her proud, to be recognized in such a fashion. But pride had it's dangers.
"They say it was carried by the first Holy Knight, the one who founded the Order to begin with... It was supposedly a time of terrible war and suffering, and the very same sword I hold now was used to bring light back to the world. They said that when he held it overhead, it shined as brightly as the sun. And his enemies fell before such a sight.", the Albino Saiyan began to explain the legend. Obviously there were many great exaggerations, and she seemed to know that well. But there were some truths... But there was one fact that she was aware of.
The Saiyan stands in front of the altar, there was an opening that looked large enough to house the blade, and a small platform to house the respective sheath was just behind it. "...I know that a lot of it has been exaggerated. The truth is, I haven't felt anything special out of the sword, besides the fact that it is indestructible.", the Knight continued, then drawing the sword from it's sheath and resting it on the altar, examining the blade. Well crafted, and seemingly made of silver. It was a fine blade.
But nothing more.... Or at least, that's how it appeared. "It's a little silly, isn't it...? But it's something that gives all of us hope.", Atsuko then commented as she stared at the sword. So much had happened... And so much more was going to take place...

A small blush would creep across the boys face, having an arm around him like that was certainly something he enjoyed, especially after something taking place like that, but he didn't know why his face reacted the way it did. "Thank you, Atsuko... I'll gladly take up that offer if for whatever reason, the need for me to take it up arises, especially for my mother, more than anything actually... I'd choose her over me for something like this... but it shouldn't come to something like that, as far as I know..." the boy would say, staring down and away from the girl so as not to show his face as it was for the time being, nobody needed to see that just yet. It would slowly clear however as everything went back to semi normal.
He slowly listened to what the elder had to say, and slowly sat back in his chair. He slowly assumed that he would have nothing to do with their sacred place, and that he would have to stay in the hall with everybody else, however he perked up when Atsuko said that he could come with if he liked, though he sort of understood if he wasn't allowed, when she asked the elder if it was alright. He kept a smile all the way through and then smiled a bit more when the elder talked about the boys intent and said it was okay for him to follow. Without any sign of hesitation, the boy would take the hand of his friend when it was offered and pop up out of his seat to stand up. "Of course I would like to go" he would say, a smile on his face.
He would proceed to quickly follow after her as she led him through the temple. "Hmm.. I am surprised they would actually let me come with you to their most sacred area.. I know they don't distrust me but still... this is the first day they met me... I guess they really think you are a good judge of character and that they trust me this much already... huh.." Bernael would say to himself, after walking with the holy knight and listening to what she had to say, he didn't want to speak over her at all, but it was sort of odd, that they allowed a demon into their most sacred place where they conducted some ceremonies, even if they trusted him.
The demon boy kept on walking with her and nodded more to what she said "Yeah who knows why they are asking you back there... but hopefully its something interesting, but either way I want to see something more to do with your order, it could help me get a better grip on how I feel about everything, and getting to know the way your family works." the hybrid would muse, thinking of it in his head made it seem a little silly but he did want to see how they worked, just in case anything would happen, he would at least know how to handle it in their views. A smile grew on his face, was he really going to fit in here?
With his mouth dropping slightly opened, Bernael would look around the wide opened room, even though the room had very little in it, it looks quite nice and he respected the crafting of the long room, but he wouldn't stop for a single moment, always following right next to his friend. "Wow really... the most sacred relic of your order? Must be quite the sword" he would say, slowly looking at the sword with a calm look. His own Ōdachi sword that he carried was so very tainted, he couldn't believe that he was wearing it in the slips of his flak jacket heavy weights in such a place. But he would remain calm, he didn't need to worry too much about it, if anything it was just stained from a slain demon, which shouldn't be too bad. He shook his head calmly, perking up to listen to what Atsuko had to say about everything.
"The sword... it sounds very wonderful, it must truly be an honor to wield such a blade. I know you pretty well by now... I know that you will use that sword to fulfill those same things if the need arises, you will bring light back to the world if it ever falls to darkness... I now you will." he said, musing on it just a little bit. He slowly thought of a line to use but he would save it for later, at the very least. He continued on listening to the holy knights words. "Well, even if its exaggerated... the sword is special and a sacred piece of your way of life and your order. That alone makes it a wonderful piece to treasure dearly you know... and its your sword, so you already know that its quite special." he would reply to her, before turning to the blade and staring at it on its alter.
"It really, isn't silly... to be honest. Everybody needs a little hope in their lives, and even if the swords virtues are just a fabled legend, so be it... you can make it happen through your own will, and make it all a reality." the boy would say, a gentle calmness to his voice as he looked at the sword. He slowly looked back at Atsuko. "Though... you wont need a sword shining brightly in the sun, to make people fall before such a sight... well I shouldn't say that in general... but at least, you wouldn't need the sword to make me fall to such a sight... just the sight of you alone would make me fall... well, fall for you, instead of in battle." Bernael would say, looking over at Atsuko.
Almost instantly however, he would regret saying that. Was now even the right time... the right place? It almost sounded like an all out confession, telling her that he fell for her and telling her of his feelings pretty much in one line to tell back about the legend of the sword. A blush would spread across his face. He only had minor regrets of it however, perhaps it would fly right over her head? Or maybe she wouldn't mind his true feelings. Either way what he said had been said.
"W-Well uh... d-do you think that anybody will be here soon? To see why they sent you up here to the shrine exactly?" he would say, he would pay attention to whatever the holy knight had to say on the matter intently, he didn't want to ignore her after what he had just said, just in case something would be said back. For all he knew he would just be asked to leave the room, and he wouldn't want to just stay if that was asked of him. A blush was still on his face as he tried to think of more things to say to divert possible attention away from what he just said. "S-S-Sorry I said that... by the way... I-I just... well, its true, for me..." the boy would finally say, looking off towards the entrance of the room they were in. He wasn't sure how she responded to everything he had just said yet, but he sort of wanted to just run out of the door already in embarrassment. Bernael truly felt like he had messed up this time, but before he would run, he would at least listen to what Atsuko had to say, just in case he would be let go with no negative consequences.
Bernael ended up accepting the offer she had made earlier, if his family ever had need, this could serve as a haven for them. That was good, Atsuko has still yet to meet Bernael's Mother, but she had to guess that the woman was not a fighter. And the half demon was such a trusting person by nature... The Albino Saiyan worried that perhaps such critical information would reach those that would abuse it, but she wasn't going to make mention of that. Even though her intent was in the right place, she didn't want to appear as if she didn't trust him.
With that in mind, Atsuko listened intently as the half demon then spoke about his surprise at being allowed to follow her here. That prompted her to smile. "We've never been the secretive types. We just prefer being here on the Mountain so that we can train and study undisturbed. It's actually quite nice when we do get visitors. Not many make such a journey these days.", the Albino Saiyan explained to her friend. It wasn't that the Order was fading into obscurity, it was just... Everything was mostly peaceful these days. And there were means of practicing Ki much closer to home.
Coming to this Mountain and learning their ways, it meant forfeiting a lot. Some were willing to do that, others not so much. "But we make due either way.", the Saiyan then commented. The conversation then turned to why she had come back here, as well as the half demon's own curiosity on how the Order works. "Well, I can fill you in on all the details! Though, I will need to attend to matters here first.", the Knight responded. She still didn't know why it was that she was brought into the Shrine.
Or if anyone else was even coming. Was she just supposed to meditate here? If that was the case, she felt a little bad just dragging Bernael along like she did. But perhaps he wouldn't mind it, after all meditation was just as important as any physical training. As she mused on that, he then began to comment on the sword. The Saiyan gave a nod. "Yes, we have a few relics. But the sword is one that everyone knows well. We study as Monks, and we train in the way of the sword. But only one will ever wield a blade like this."
The Albino Saiyan began to elaborate. "The others will take up swords of fine craft, I have no doubt. Especially now that war seems to be coming.", the Knight added. She fell silent as he began to give his thoughts on the legend of the silver sword. Bernael first started it must have been an honor to wield such a blade. "It really is... I thought a lot about what it would be like to hold it, I never expected the day to actually come. Yet here it is, like so many other things, really.", she replied with a smile.
He had a really nice way of looking at things. They both knew that the story was likely exaggerated in many ways, but... All the same, he thought it special. "Yeah. It doesn't need to be a powerful artifact. It's plenty for me.", the Albino Saiyan stated as her gaze once more returned to the blade. Funny, it looked like the blade was beginning to shine just a little more than it usually did. Perhaps it was just her imagination, but either way... She cherished it dearly, it was her own treasure. The Knight couldn't imagine being without it.
It was there for her entire life, practically. It was not far from her during her childhood, and it kept her company throughout her journeys around Earth. It saw her safely through a number of fights, even if she elected not to use it in some of them. Bernael followed up by saying it really wasn't silly, and that she was capable of making it a reality. "Heh... You're really sweet, Bernael. Thank you.", the Knight began her response. That was when he began what honestly sounded like another confession. The Albino Saiyan's face began to fill with a blush.
But she listened to what he had to say. "You... Really feel that way about me?", she inquired. He seemed just about as shy as she was. But it was nice to hear words like that, even if he stumbled over them a bit. The Saiyan couldn't help but smile. "Thank you... Again, I mean.", she said as she looked over at the half demon. "I'm really glad that you feel that way about me... To tell you the truth, I never really thought I was anything that special. Just a person that was ready to fight for others."
The Albino Saiyan continued. Bernael seemed a little unready for it, so he urged the conversation onto something a little less embarrassing, Atsuko gave a knowing nod as she thought over his words. "I honestly don't know. Someone could be arriving soon, or maybe I am to meditate here until the answer becomes clear to me...", the Saiyan responded. With that, the half demon began to apologize, but the Albino Saiyan only let out a small laugh in response. "Bernael.. It's fine. I don't mind it.", she tried to comfort him. He really was getting a little too worked up.
But... She found it a little charming, in it's own way. It was another proof of the fact that they were both still young, and it was easy to forget just how young they were at times. As she mused on that, she noted that her sword was starting to glow... It was unmistakable now, there was something happening to it. She found it rather entrancing to behold. Slowly it's form began to change into something that didn't just resemble a well crafted blade. To call it beautiful would have dirtied it, it was instead sacred. At least in her perspective, it truly embodied hope.
The Knight grasped the hilt of the newly formed sword. And as she did so, she noted that the light was actually traveling to a point in the room, her gaze turned. There she saw a figure of light slowly forming, the light around the figure began to dim... It resembled herself, much like looking into a mirror. But this person, whoever it was, was wearing an outfit of primarily red design. They seemed far more bold by comparison. The newcomer looks to Bernael, then to Atsuko. Despite her sudden appearance, she didn't seem to be lost.
She began to speak. "Well, it appears I've been asleep for a very long time... I've been awakened by a person of great virtue as well as power. Given my appearance... I'm guessing that is you.", she directed towards the Albino Saiyan. "Are you... The sword?", the Knight questioned. And the woman in red pondered her words for a moment before responding. "Yes. My true name is Excalibur. I was forged hundreds of years ago for the purpose of saving Humanity. I succeeded in my task and I was laid to rest until a Hero had need of me."
Excalibur began to explain. Atsuko listened intently to each word. Finally she gave a small nod. "Earth is under peril once more. The Saiyans are threatening it, and I feel as though there are more enemies lying in wait.", the Knight explained. The woman in red seemed to understand perfectly. "That explains why you were able to awake me, then.... Well, no doubt you two have several questions for me, I'm prepared to answer them.", she stated as she crossed her arms. The way she carried herself with such confidence, it was an odd parallel to the humble Knight.
But it seemed like the two would make a good team, perhaps?

Bernael's worry would instantly wash away as he heard Atsuko's words. He didn't really know why he was so worried before, maybe he just didn't want to feel rejected after getting so close to her already, just for it to all fall apart in an instant. "Yeah... I do, I really do feel that way about you" he would slowly relax in a sigh of relief. "You are so much more than a person that is ready to fight for others.. to me... you really are that special... and nothing could convince me otherwise." he would follow up with, slowly stretching, releasing the tension from his body. He was glad that it ended up pretty alright, he wouldn't know what he would have done if it all came back to bite him in the end of everything. "Hmmm, that is good that you don't mind... I don't know what would have happened if you disliked it a lot.. to be honest" he would then say, giving off a small chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. It was nothing but a thing of the past at this point, leaving behind something quite good to the boys heart.
There was no point in dwelling on it however, at the very least she knew how he felt and that was all that he needed to be content for the time being. But before he could really say anything else to keep conversation going, the sword would start glowing with an alluring light. It was almost hard to look at, the brightness was overtaking his eyes and it sort of hurt to look upon. However it was just as hard to pull his eyes away from the light. It was almost as if there was something possessing him to look at its brightness, and that feeling stayed all the way till the light began to form a figure, it was almost as if the light broke to make him look at the figure as well, before locking him in place once more. True enough, his eyes were locked on the figure all the way till it was fully formed and took the form of what appeared to be Atsuko. "What..." the boy would say to himself, the light dimming allowing him to break his gaze to look between the two figures. "Red... blue... but Atsuko... Atsuko...?" he would question himself slowly as if he was seeing double but a color swap was happening in his vision. It was truly weird, why exactly was this happening? He wondered to himself but nothing really made sense, but the figure would begin talking, making everything appear to be of reality.
He had the same question as Atsuko, but he didn't really need to voice it, the female saiyan was able to voice it all on her own so he didn't really need to sound like a broken record as well. Alas, he heard the name of the sword, as it spoke to Atsuko. Excalibur eh...? Wasn't that some sort of holy sword, a sword of legend or something? Bernael could only suspect that, this was the same sword that he learnt about from history and he would just smile to himself. So the sword truly was special, no, it was beyond special. It was a truly legendary blade and Atsuko was its wielder and the one who would awake the sword. To be in its presence, and the wielder of the sword, it was a truly great honor that Bernael had no qualms with being apart of.
Atsuko would voice what was happening, and how the Saiyans were threatening their beautiful planet, and that more enemies could be around as well. Bernael had a wide bit of worry in them, how many enemies would they have to face before the sword would be sealed once more and the planet was no longer in peril? Who knew, maybe it would never end and they would all have to be together like this for all of time. But he sort of doubted that, time of earth peace always came around eventually, even if it was sometimes short and a situation would pop up again soon after.
The boy would slowly nod to himself once more, he also clenched his hands, what would he ask a sword anyways? Was he even in the right to be asking such a wonderful piece of art, any questions at all? Even though the blades form said it was prepared to answer questions, he wasn't sure if he even deserved the chance to open his mouth, let alone be in the same room with it. He also worried about the sword just a little bit, would it not accept him? It was a holy sword, if he remembered correctly, and he was something of unholy origin, the clashing of those two words was apparent of course, at least to him they were. He just nodded slowly to himself, as he slowly took up a more formal stance to begin asking questions.
"Well, for starters from myself... are you an entirely other entity, brought to life by the sword itself? Like... can you fight, without having to be wielded by a warrior such as Atsuko? Basically I am saying... would Atsuko be able to fight alongside you instead of just with you in her hands" the boy would ask, taking up a more casual tone as well. "To elaborate on why I ask... you seem to have been given a physical form right here before us... but, it was made out of light so for all I know, it could just be some hologram sort of deal... would you be able to fight using this physical form? Or is this just a way to communicate with us face to face?" the boy would question on, he truly wanted to know. It wouldn't really matter if the sword could not do that, he didn't expect it to be able to in all honesty, as even a legendary sword has its limits among swords, so perhaps it wouldn't have that as one of its many feats. However, if it was able to pull something like that off, it could prove highly beneficial to their cause, and their desires. An entire other being with legendary status such as that, who knew what it could bring to the table.
But his questions wouldn't just stop there, he had a little more to press on about just in case. "Also, why did you choose to awaken now? Is it because of the sword resting on its original resting place, put there by its user? Perhaps?" he wanted to know the question he just asked as well, as he wasn't quite sure the answer he would get. There were quite a number of times where it would have made sense that the legendary sword would have unlocked, so why now of all times? Maybe how sacred the room they were in was, maybe that was why it was happening right now.
The boy would slowly turn his gaze to smile at Atsuko. He was happy that this moment was happening, that he was there with her for it. It kind of brought a joyous grin to his face. The time and feeling of when he confessed earlier was a bit gone now, but he was determined to bring it up again at a later date, perhaps to continue on and be more direct about how he was feeling. But for the time being at least, he had no real reason to want to press on, the attention needed to be left towards Excalibur, his feelings could for sure come second to this event. Plus this was a moment that Atsuko was getting her orders sacred relic unlocked, that had to be something glorious, and he couldn't bare to let himself die the mood down in even the slightest way. His grin was apparent even then though, he wanted to see the swords answers, and what questions Atsuko had herself for the sword, for the time being.
Well! It was a day that was just filled with surprises. The Albino Saiyan wasn't expecting that sort of comment from the half demon. He stated that at least to him, she was more important than just a person that wanted to protect the planet they were standing on. And he was very intent on holding that line of thinking, nothing could convince him otherwise... The very thought filled the Knight's face with a blush at the time, though now she was a little distracted at the second doppelganger to appear in her life. This one didn't appear to be a long lost sister, however.
It really was odd, the two looked close enough to be sisters... It was just like with Cambia, except perhaps Excalibur looked even closer than the Saiyan's true little sister. The only thing setting them apart is that she was in fact in a red dress, and she wore no armor or cape. The way she carried herself, it was almost as if she thought she didn't need any such things. A boast without words, one could clearly guess. And it was one that the sword would confirm if asked about it in direct conversation.
Bernael was the first one to speak up, and Excalibur seemed giddy with the prospect of the questions. She clapped her hands together once, then held them together as she smiled. "Excellent questions! My, I thought it starting off a bit slower.", she began her response in a cheerful tone of voice. A voice which didn't sound too far different from Atsuko's own voice. It was merely their manner of speaking and tone which set them apart on the audible level. She came off as a rather odd person in light of her fashion tastes and personality... But not an unpleasant person, at least.
"To answer your question. No, I can't fight alongside her, at least not in the sense of there being two warriors. I can very easily be at her side as her weapon, as I already have been doing, from my understanding!", the woman in red began to explain. "I'm certain that if she pursued certain avenues, my form would become more tangible and I could in fact fight alongside her. But as it stands, this is merely to make conversing with others more convenient. I would think it rather odd for everyone to be huddled around a sword, speaking to it!"
She had thus decided. In her mind, the logic was flawless. "However, I do know a few useful things! Atsuko and I would be able to 'swap vessels', as it were. I could take control of her body, and she would take the form of the sword.", Excalibur commented. Then she seemed to ponder for a moment. Then she held up a finger to stave off protests or worries. "Willingly, of course. I can't force it. Nor would I want to! I would rather it be used to her benefit. I can walk you through how to do that later, if you like."
The woman in red directed towards Atsuko, who had a little time to recover from the shock, and gave a nod. "Sure... That sounds like it could be useful.", the Knight responded. Which prompted the woman in red to smile once more. "Splendid!", was all she had to say in response. The half demon began to speak once more, and it was as if the man had grasped her attention with complete ease, as she went from standing one way to converse with the Albino Saiyan, to shifting stance in order to properly listen to his next words.
She thought them over for a moment, her gaze casting upwards as she thinks over what it was that could have awakened her. "Several things, actually! First, my wielder has gotten very powerful! Yes, very strong indeed. Not quite as brimming with power as the last one, but she appears to be quite young. Very determined woman, I suspect she'll be doing a lot more growing from this point on.", the sword rather suddenly began. She seemed to have a lot of energy at the moment, perhaps it was because she spent several hundred years sleeping...
Or maybe she was always like this. "Hmm. Ah! I think it might also be to do with this business with her becoming Kami. I remember hearing quite a lot about that in my dreams. In fact, I feel like I know her entire story despite just meeting her!", she continued. Then she thought over what else needed to be said for just a brief moment. "Yes, I think it's her strength, her rising to become Kami, and the fact that she returned here. Her pilgrimage has gone very well, I'm impressed with what I do know, I need to review it all with her later."
Excalibur added. It was at this point, Atsuko decided to ask a few questions herself. "So... Is there anything that I need to do now? Some sort of trial?", she inquired. The woman in red laughed a little. "Dear me, no! You've done quite enough already. I couldn't think of anything proper to test you with anyway. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, but I tell you what. We'll be working together a lot, if I think of something, I'll direct it your way!", the woman in red responded.
Atsuko couldn't help but smile at the easily excitable woman. "Okay so... You mentioned that my strength had a lot to do with your awakening. How much do you think you will be able to help in battle? I still can't exactly sense your energy.", the Albino Saiyan tried to ask in a manner that couldn't be deemed offensive. The sword gave an understanding nod as she thought over how to respond. "Fair question, well. Like I said, I don't think I would be able to do anything very tangible unless I took control of your body. Oh! I can make it easier to perform your techniques."
The woman in red first responded. "I can teach you quite a lot, too! I can also make sure that all of your inner energies operate as they should. No more disruptions from lack of meditation, or from enemies that know how to muck about with that.", Excalibur continued. "And I believe that if you have any hidden potential, I can help you unlock it! Fair warning, it takes me a bit of time to study it myself. Might not always have the answer right away, but I'll try and work up something before you have to wait too long."
The Knight listened intently, so it seemed like Excalibur was less of a way of ending battles through sheer force, and more of a supportive figure. That was fair, the Albino Saiyan didn't want unfair advantages. Though one could make a case that if the fight was important enough, it was foolish for her to not jump at the chance. "So I should rely on you for matters generally not related to fighting, then?", the Saiyan inquired, and the woman in red gave a nod in response. That seemed to be the best for now.
"I used to be able to do more, but it appears that I still don't have all of my power, as it were. You and I can work towards fixing that, but most importantly I can still help you do everything that you need to get done!", Excalibur proceeded to assure the Albino Saiyan. With that, Atsuko looked over at Bernael. "Well, I can't think of any more questions at the moment. How about you?", she asked her friend. Seems like things were going to be a lot more active from here on out. Atsuko's second doppelganger hardly seemed the type to calm down.
"Ask away! I'm having quite a lot of fun! Oooh, we need to do more things! How much has the world changed? The Temple still looks the same, but I know they're pretty strict about keeping this place the same. Still, have to have respect for the classics!", as one could tell by how she just rambled on at times... Oh well, at least she didn't mean any harm. And Atsuko had been nothing but all smiles ever since meeting the woman in red. They seemed like they would get along pretty well.

The demonic human sort of reeled back in shock, he was very surprised at this turn of events. She had barely said anything before, so the boy took on the light assumption that she was a prim and proper lady, with high standards for etiquette. However, it seemed that she was giddier than a happy schoolgirl that ended up being invited to prom by the crush of her wildest dreams. Of course that was nothing more than a hyperbole, but either way the demon boy was very much taken aback from this new finding. Well, he supposed that it wasn't too bad, perhaps it would be a lot easier to talk to somebody that energetic, compared to somebody stuck up and snobby.
A very gentle and soft sigh would seep out of the boy, it was more content then anything. He would probably enjoy this swords company alongside Atsuko's, since he assumed that it was going to be a constant, with it being Atsuko's sword and all. A smile pierced his lips as he nodded slowly, satisfied with Excalibur's answers to the demon boys questions. "Yeah, the form is indeed very practical for you to use for conversational purposes... but it would be pretty cool if you happened to become more tangible down the road, having an ally like that could prove very, very useful. But for now, this is definitely worth it, and I am not even the wielder of the sword." the boy would say, he had great enjoyment with this sword, even if he was only a companion of the wielder, this piqued his interest quite a lot for the time being.
"Ah I see, those reasons do make a lot of sense... I suppose not just anybody could awaken the sword... Atsuko becoming Kami... certainly does make her 'somebody' to the entire world... though, she was already somebody special to me..." the boy would say, staring at Atsuko out of the corner of his eye as he said this, he wanted to focus on this Excalibur, but he didn't hesitate to sneak in a compliment or two to the girl he was with, just in case. "But, I suppose somebody of low strength wouldn't just be able to awaken a sword as well, and lastly, I did think it was something about this room, this place certainly seems like a place where this would go down..." the boy would finish off with, turning his gaze back towards Excalibur instead.
It was then that Atsuko would bring up her own questions. It was her sword after all, so it was understandable that she was going to have a lot of questions to its awakened, and intelligent form. It seemed that she was interested in what she had to do to accept the sword, like some deadly trial or dangerous riddle. Well, it wasn't like a deadly trial was new for the Saiyan, considering what happened quite some time ago for her. The demon would shake his head once more, slowly just listening to Excalibur's answer instead, which would be quite interesting for the most part, hearing such a giddy person talk about serious questions. Though it seemed like the Saiyan knight wouldn't have to undergo any trials or riddles or quiz game show to win a new car, it was just that everything that was needed was already complete. Though something could come up in the future, if an idea came up. He would smile over at Atsuko. "That all sounds pretty good, doesn't it?" was all he said before the next question would come up.
Bernael thought on the question himself, he was curious of what the Legendary Status Sword's answer would be, with how the sword is made, it seemed like it would be a very good asset in battle, could even be the decider if need be. Plus all those years of experience could be used if the sword took over, honestly it sounded very useful in fact. However, without taking control, the sword was still very useful, if it could help Atsuko easier perform her techniques, that could also be a huge battle decider. Also, a mentor figure, the sword could possibly mature Atsuko's already great battle technique, coaching over everything to make it progress even further. As well as pushing out hidden potential. All in all it sounded pretty smooth to the demon boy, he hoped that the sword would be used well, though he knew it would be used well because of who the wielder was. Once more he would look intently at Atsuko with a smile on his face as he thought those things, he would hold back on saying anything for the time being though, it was alright to just listen to the excitable swords words.
He then heard that the sword wasn't even at full power, well, that proved very hopeful, as it could develop even finer and more powerful as time went on to help Atsuko do what she needed to do. They could grow together, that sounded nice. Well it seemed like it was his turn to speak up towards the sword once more, to ask it a question if he felt the need to do so, he had a couple of things in mind, but he would instead speak up to answer her question first, to start everything off. "Well, I don't know when you were last around... to know the changes in the world... buuuut... there have been near countless steps forward in technology and travel, so many bustling cities and pastimes, so many different things to do that it is almost unbelievable. Though it could've been like that back then as well, so I have no idea how to truly answer that, heh~" the boy would respond while rubbing the back of his head. Honestly he wanted to answer the swords question, but without knowing the age it was forged in, there wasn't a real way to tell how much it changed since then, he supposed he just sort of wasted his breath with that one.
"Oh, anyways... for my first question... you said that you can switch places with Atsuko, like you control the body and Atsuko is inside of the sword right..." the boy would say, looking up at the sky, thinking about it for a quick second before continuing on. "How does... being in a sword feel... like I guess being forged as a sword, you would be used to that kind of stuff easily right upon being made... but its not every day that someone who has been in a humanoid body for their entire lives, is put inside of a sword and has to be a sword... sounds like it would feel very unnatural and be a little weird. I just want to know that, for the both of us before Atsuko just becomes a sword for some time if you ever end up switching..." the demonic human would wonder, staring curiously at the figure made by the sword. Bernael wanted to know the answer to that question a lot, it piqued his interest as soon as the sword brought up that they could trade places. Thinking about it, he was worried of it feeling like you had lost most of your major limbs aside from your torso, and that you didn't need them in the first place. As a sword doesn't have humanoid limbs, nor does it have a head of any sword, aside from the hilt being a reverse head to the blade being a torso. He didn't want his friend to go through with something like that if she wasn't prepared, or if she didn't know at the time. So he felt like that could be his time to ask it for her.
"And uh, after you are done answering that..." the boy would continue, crossing his arms a bit thinking. He was surprised that Atsuko didn't ask this in the first place before him, but he wanted to know for himself now that he understood that it was his turn to ask some questions. "What makes you so giddy and energetic...?" he would ask, pretty straightforward and bluntly. "You seem very happy and energetic, answering these questions very audibly and in a giddy manner... I just wanted to know whats fueling all of that, it intrigues me and its kind of nice as well~" the boy would follow up with, explaining his question a little more. "Though I guess some things are quite a bit nicer..." the boy would say, looking at Atsuko out of the corner of his eye once more, making it a bit more noticeable than last time. He couldn't help but sneak in at least one more compliment before he would shut his mouth, though it was a smirk to end it all.
Excalibur seemed quite pleased with the half demon's response to her decision about using a more practical form for conversation. "I knew it was a good idea! And I agree, definitely need to work towards making this more tangible. Then I can do a lot more things! Won't have to drag you all around all the time to do them, either. But having friends along for the ride can make it more enjoyable, too!", the woman in red rambled on in her usual fashion. Prompting the Albino Saiyan to smile and shake her head slightly. "I might need to do a second pilgrimage at this rate."
The Knight commented in a tone that suggested she was jesting. And Excalibur seemed to only grow more excited at the idea. "Ooh, perfect idea! That way I can really see just how much everything has changed since I was asleep! I can even discover what my favorite things are!", she continued on as per usual. Though the conversation began to turn away from what the sword was capable of, and instead to the reasons why Atsuko was able to awaken Excalibur into her current form. Becoming Kami certainly did mean Atsuko was 'something special' to the entire world...
Though it seems, Bernael already held those feelings, which prompted the Knight to blush heavily once more. "I-... I'm really not anything that important.", she managed to mumble out in an embarrassed fashion. Though of course, the woman in red was right on target to begin speaking next... "Nonsense! You're very special! Need to have some confidence, you know. Not just anyone could decide to shoulder an entire world like you have. And most would be frightened even then! But here you are, not backing down no matter what!", the woman in red continued on, as if taking her comment seriously.
"W-... Well... I guess you two have a point...", Atsuko responded. It really seemed like she wasn't used to compliments and praises, there was a bit of a reason for that. Within her Order, you didn't really get praised for 'doing a good job'. It tended to encourage a solo mentality. 'I must do the best that I can', instead of working with the others as best as you can. Long ago when she was younger, she might have accepted these comments without so much of a care. But in this case it was just a little overwhelming for her.
Then again, Excalibur seemed rather overwhelming by design... Well, at least the subject briefly returned to the fact that Atsuko didn't need to perform some sort of trial in order to continue wielding the sword she had become so accustomed to. Bernael commented that it all seemed rather nice, in light of that. "Yeah... I've turned out pretty lucky. I never would have imagined any of this happening, even with everything that has happened up to this point.", the Albino Saiyan responded to her friend. Just what in the world was going to happen next?
Atsuko had no real idea. Fate just seemed to enjoy throwing these wild curve balls at the Albino Saiyan and her comrades. But at least it was never a dull moment. And it's not as if most of these moments were unpleasant... True, the Knight had more than a few bad dealings with the Saiyans. But she also met her little sister, helped Bernael. Became a Guardian of Earth... The future was looking pretty bright, all things considered. Especially now that she had Excalibur along to help out in her own way. Though the Saiyan could only guess that it would be rather... Unique.
The half demon then began to speak up once more. Now answering Excalibur's aimless wondering about how much things must have changed in her absence. The woman in red seemed to find the prospect quite exciting! "Ahh, I love how creative Humans get! They're at their most brilliant when they have a peaceful life to show their creative side! Bit unfortunate that we even need protectors for them, but it's worth it just to see all the happy people.", Excalibur began her response. "Now you've got me all excited, I can't wait to see it!"
The woman in red continued. Though she did pause as it seemed Bernael had something to say. Another question! Oh that seemed to just brighten up her day quite a bit, she listened just as intently as every other time as he inquired what it was like to be a sword, as well as what it might be like for Atsuko. The woman in red gave an understanding nod as she pondered it over for a moment. It was something difficult to describe, even with her own perspective! But the sword had a feeling that she could explain it properly!
"Well, bit difficult to explain. But I'll give it a shot. It's not that far off from being in a human body, in my honest opinion. You don't really get the sense that 'things aren't in the right place', if you catch the meaning. Nice bonus points in that, not much can hurt you. Oh, oh! And a good polishing. Oooh... That's the stuff right there! And being sharpened in skilled hands, yes... I'm gonna have to walk her through how to do all that.", the woman in red began her response, which inevitably turned into another session of rambling on.
Though she soon returned to the point. "Your Ki tends to stay the same, too. Pretty much everything internally does. So, if for example you know how to fly... You can use that to move yourself even in sword form! I suppose you can see the world differently, too. It's easier to spot weaknesses in things... Anything more concrete than that, and I think you'd just have to try it for yourself sometime.", the woman in red finished with a smile and a nod. Though then her gaze turned to the sword that Bernael carried, her expression seemed to turn a little more serious.
"Though, maybe not with that one. I get some bad vibes from it. Get the sense that they might be the type to try and take your body or something. Rather alarming bloke, that one is.", she continued. Though even Excalibur couldn't tell if the sword that the half demon carried was sentient or not. But the presence it carried was seemingly unmistakable to her. Which made sense, she was a holy sword and she was speaking about a blade that was carried by a demon, and then permanently stained with it's blood. It must have looked quite nice once.
At least, Excalibur liked to think that it did. Though ending on that pleasant note and continuing right onto another question! Just as quickly as her expression had turned serious, it went back to being giddy! "Well, I've been asleep for a very long time! It was quite a nice rest at that, but now I'm fully charged! Ready to get back to everything. And it's always an exciting experience with each person that wields me. I'm used to knowing how things go, but things still surprise me even now! Have to appreciate the little things in life."
The woman in red began her explanation. Bernael then proceeded to direct another compliment towards Atsuko, which caused her to blush again. "H-... Honestly... Shouldn't you be interested in someone that's... I don't know... 'More of a woman'? I'm in armor all of the time, and not really that attractive...", the Knight managed to get out in an admittedly adorably shy tone of voice. "...For the record, I didn't say stop.", the Albino Saiyan then managed to mumble out afterwards. The woman in red simply shook her head as she let out a small sigh. "We really do need to work on your confidence..."
Excalibur stated as she then walked towards the Albino Saiyan. The woman in red then began to walk around her, seemingly sizing up the Saiyan from head to toe. "Um... Is there something wrong?", the Knight questioned. "Quite the opposite, I can see why you were chosen to wield me!", Excalibur said in response. "Yes, very proper woman. You wear the armor well, the robes are a nice touch... And the hair! Very nice choice. It's no wonder he's fallen for you!", the woman in red then decided as she walked right over to Bernael and gestured to him.
That only caused Atsuko to blush even more. "W-... We're close, but I don't know if he really feels that way about me!", she made a small protest. "Nonsense! You like him too, I can tell! Hmmm, yes. I think you two would make a great couple.", Excalibur jumped to that conclusion, not even caring whether or not that really was the case. And despite what anyone might have to say otherwise on the subject... Atsuko just seemed to be a blushing mess at this point, the Knight was closing her eyes and in meditative posture.
Trying to regather her composure, no doubt. Excalibur only grinned lightly as she looked to Bernael. "I don't even need to tell you that she likes you, it's pretty plain as day. Might say things to the contrary but she's just not used to it all.", the woman in red quietly explained to the half demon while the Knight was taking a moment to regather her senses... Finally, the Knight's eyes opened and she let out a relieved sigh. "Okay... I think I'm feeling better now.", the Albino Saiyan stated. Her gaze settling onto the two after doing so.
"...What were you two talking about?", she inquired, a little suspicious of the two. Wondering if they were talking about more embarrassing things...
