As the light faded, Carva would find himself enveloped by a deep darkness. A cold, deep dark of which he was unfamiliar, darker than the other side of the moon...colder than the Frozen North. He'd been defeated alright...and in grand fashion. The Legendary Super Saiya-jin would now find himself weightless, floating on limbo. A semi conciousness would wash over him...something he couldn't really feel, physically. His mind was alight with thoughts at this point. <Damn...almost had 'im...came SO close...but...yeah. Defeated...however, somehow I don't feel so bad...wait...should I even be able to...even...think? No...no, this is ...what is this?>
Noone could blame his confusion, honestly. But what really got to Carva was that...well...where he would normally be furrowing his brow and punching things in frustration. But here he was...unable to feel his body and in an extremely unfamiliar place. He could see clouds...pink skies. He could see hundreds, no thousands...of clouds. The strangest thing, they all lined up in front of a very large building...
...which was tiny to Carva, who was at the very end of the line. Frustration. He could feel emotion. But he couldn't feel anything else. He had no body...or no one, for that matter. The clouds before him spoke to one another. "Dude...did you see that huge tree?! Incredible...though...it killed my farms...in like seconds..."
"Tree? Where? All I remember was a huge battle...and hundreds of Saiya-jins. That one...he killed the ruler and took over, enslaved us all! Killed a lot of us...of course, that snake woman, she finished the job. Waited till the Saiya-jins left and...well, set the world on fire! Bright side? She killed the remaining apes!" the other cloud would speak, his voice sounding sad.
The cloud known as Carva took particular interest in this story, listening to it. He didn't have ears persay...but he could still hear everything. He had a good idea of who they were chatting about, however...there was nothing the little cloud could do. He could only wait, outwardly silent. But inwardly...his rage was there. <That cowardly Android...I see what she did now...she waited until I was gone...destroyed MY home! This...this is unforgivable.>
Problem. Being his first time here, Carva had no concept of time...no concept of whether he'd ever be able to come back. He simply moved along in line with the other clouds, as he felt compelled to do so. But...he wasn't sure why. Finally. He'd break down and ask the cloud in front of him. "Excuse me...but what are we waiting in line for again? I'm not sure I understand what's going on here..."
"Are you...stupid? We're in line for the check in, bruh. Although...I been waitin' here a while, so...you might be waiting even longer." The cloud would answer with all the sarcasm of a smart ass teenager.
Carva wanted to punch it. However, he has no arms. He simply inquired further. "Check in to what? This is death, isn't it? Don't you just appear and it's all over?"
"Uuuuhhhh no...Queen Aki decides your fate, Heaven, Hell...Soul Cleansing Machine. Whatever she decides. Just...don't be rude to her, okay?" The cloud seemingly pleaded with Carva.
Carva had no choice but to listen. Hell, he was in no position to argue, but...he couldn't help but wonder what his punishment would be. He had a long time to ponder though, perhaps all eternity honestly. He had made a promise to Cervez as he died, and as far as he knew...there was no way be would be able to keep it now. Something deep inside of his cloud body though...it still defied the thought of never returning to Earth...or the world of the living for that matter.
"Afterlife Weeks" later...
Carva cloud flew low as he went through that line, a nervousness about the great warrior. He was stepping into the unknown and even he felt just a tinge of fear. He saw clouds going up...he saw them shooting down. Some never being seen again, being replaced by pure white puffs. His own cloud was dark...perhaps to match his soul. And then...finally...
"Carva LePumpka..."
He would have jumped at the sound of the booming voice if he had a body right now. But it would have useless at this point anyway...as the huge double doors creaked open, Carva would float in a bit apprehensively. The tiny cloud found himself suspended above a red carpet, in front of a very large brown desk...too big to see over. "...ahem...you...you called for me?" The whole situation had creeped the Saiya-jin out...it was time to find out his ultimate fate...
