Whenever she had taken off from her home world with her new found companions, Nakeeya found herself needing to use the ship she had made herself to leave... see, the funny thing about Dragons was that even though they changed their shape and size, one thing about them always stayed the same, their weight. While the young girl didn't seem like it, she did weigh 10,000 pounds and that was just something her companions ship couldn't accommodate. The ship she had been piecing together however was made from pieces of much larger ships and she had roughly built it to be able to carry her weight.
Well her ship worked well enough at first! It made it's way out into space and even followed the co-ordinates Taion had put in for her... however as time went on, Nakeeya found herself growing tired and she ended up falling asleep in her chair. She never heard Taion yelling at her through the intercom to wake up and adjust the ship's co-ordinates... She slept and slept until finally, the ship began to shake violently as she began to enter the atmosphere of another planet.
The tired Dragon yawned widely, stretching her arms above her and opening her eyes to see the beautiful world approaching. She abruptly stood up with a large smirk on her face, pushing down on the button Taion had told her to use to communicate with her.
"Taion! Is this that other planet you were talking about! Wow it's so... so round! and blue! and pretty! oh I bet there's all kinds of treasure.... Taion?" Whenever no answer came back, Nakeeya began to press the button again and again, assuming she just wasn't using it correctly, until finally she pushed down so hard the button broke. She winced as the ship continued to shake upon entry.
"Uh oh... what do I do..." She said gently to herself as she ran back to her chair and held onto it for dear life. Massive pieces of her ship began to break apart and fly off to god knows where! Fire began burning the outside of her ship and was soon licking the inside of it as well as more and more of the ship began to break lose. She sucked in a deep breath, waiting a few moments longer for the ship to have fully entered the planet's atmosphere before she began to change...
Her body began to grow larger and larger, a long, scaled tail would grow out from her tail bone as two massive purple wings shot out from either side of her body. To those who had never seen a Dragon before, she would look like a truly mystical beast standing at 10ft tall. As she grew, the ship became much too small to hold her, and eventually the pressure of her growth caused it to explode outwards into hundreds of smaller pieces that would rain down on whatever lay below.
Of course, Nakeeya still found herself in the upper layers of the sky and so the air here was scarce, and it was absolutely freezing! She found herself gasping for breath, her wings slowly freezing up and beating slower and slower, causing the large beast to start plummeting towards the ground. She let out a loud growl finally as she plummeted, trying to control her fall by placing her wings at different angles to catch the wind, but there was no such luck, they were frozen and the cold had quickly set into the warm blooded creature!
'Taion... Twitch... where are you!' She cried out desperately trying to gain control of herself. The ground got closer and closer, Nakeeya still beating her wings desperately to slow her fall. She had managed to slow herself enough to not die on impact, but the Dragon still hit the ground hard and skid quite some ways away from where she landed. She tried to lift herself up after the crash, but all the Dragon could see was darkness, and she knew she was passing out...
Bael, a demon on planet Sadal gone out to buy some food at a local bazaar close by but as he'd go on to do so, he'd be seen by some group of thugs who had been taken into custody about four days but escaped. So, as Bael had gone his way to get some food, he'd be stopped. Aye Ki~ddo~! Stop! Come here! You got some zeni to lend? A thug would ask Bael as he'd put his hands on Bael and his zeni bag.
Nah, so leave me alone! Yer ba~d, a bad robber! Hahaha! Bael would say to poke some fun. As Bael would do so, he'd set his hand on his blade.
Eat my foot! Kiddo! A Saiyan gang member would say aloud. Bael and his level were way beyond his foe's level, so he had no need to use a real move on his foe. Bael would use his blade to cut and wound his foe's bicep. So, his foe bled a lot and cause of his foe's blood up cut, Bael would be ganged up on by some more gang members, a whole lot.
Hm? A gang? Cute! Ha! Demon Bael would say to his foes as he'd smear his tongue on his blade. His foes upset at what he had said, Bael and his foes had begun to duel. Seven Saiyans would go over and jump Bael yet would not be able to do so as Bael would move out of where he was in only mere second.
Ki Bomb! Bael yelped out as he'd focus his ki into a bomb and use it on his foes. A~h! Agh~! Ugh~! His foes would moan, laid out defeated.
Tsk tsk! Here is ten zeni~! Ahaha~! Bael would say as he'd drop ten zeni ontop his defeated foes.
Later on that day, a space pod would land. Bael would be at his local bazaar and spot the space pod about to land. Huh~? A space pod? Looks wobbly! He'd say as he'd rub on his head and soar over to where he would see the pod land. A bag of goods in hand, he'd land on his feet and take a look at who had come.
A Dragon? Ah~! Cmon gal, you okay? Bael would say in hopes his outer space bud would get up. Uh~! Take a cake? He'd say as he'd get a cake out his bag and feed a cake to her for she can maybe get up.
Walking around Sadal once more, Rutaba would yawn to himself, sort of just minding his own business for the time being without much to do. Though, this would all end for the young Peacekeeper as his ki sense would tip him off of a power signature entering the atmosphere. He wasn't sure if it would be much of a problem, it wasn't outrageous or anything but by his duty, he had to check it out just to make sure. Whoever they were, however, their pod seemed to be plummeting quite quickly. "Damn... that doesn't look good." he'd mutter to himself, his ki aura exploding in a golden haze as he'd begin to fly over towards the power signature as fast as he could. It seemed another signature was over there as well, the Peacekeeper didn't want to assume anything but he just made a note to move as fast as he could just in case it was a looter rather than someone out to do good.
As he would arrive, his golden haze would disappear to be replaced with a soft blue aura that would also disappear as soon as the Saiyan Peacekeeper landed on the ground with his sword drawn. He would walk closer to the two figures, taken back a bit by the draconic figure on the ground. It seemed that the crash didn't do well to them, but feeling their ki signature set the Peacekeeper at ease for but a moment as he would look at the other figure, who would be offering.... cake? "Well, I can't say that offering cake is a hostile action..." he'd mutter to himself as he'd entirely go off guard, fully sheathing his blade and just walking closer, looking the dragon over for a second before looking at the other man who seemed to come to her aid.
"Well... let's see if we can wake her up. As pleasant as Cake is, I don't suppose people would be too thrilled to wake up with their mouth suddenly stuffed with it..." he contemplated the pro's and con's to all of this, and just shook his head as he kneeled down beside the dragon now as well. He didn't know any healing techniques... so he wasn't quite sure of the best way to wake her up aside from time, so he'd just move his gauntleted hands onto the Dragon's head, patting it softly a few times to see if it would wake, his movements being as careful as possible as he knew people didn't like... harsh awakenings.
Well, tonight was one of those few nights she thought she could call peaceful was it? Even throughout her own brief meditation in the very atmosphere of the planet. She couldn’t help but think of those she had met so far. It was quite interesting in the long run of how things were to be in the future. With how much it seemed like everything was set to change it was quite a wonder how the various lives of those here sought to live. What of their own stories and lives, she couldn’t help but wonder. What was she to make of her own? How was she to design her own story to come? Was she destined to fail like others or could she truly make her ancestry proud? Did she even want to live up to her father’s ideal life for her? Maybe it was simply something she had to adjust to. She just...didn’t know. Life sure was a mystery...wasn’t it?
Maybe it was just something she would have to decide...for herself?
Despite everything, she felt a disturbance in the very air around her as a pod sailed right past her towards the planet below. This wasn’t good...even if she was a creature of destruction...she didn’t want this place to suffer such a fate! Using her own heavy weights she began to shoot down trying to follow the pod, only to watch as the dragon exploded out of it! What a majestic sight the large dragon, but what was it doing here? Dragons were supposed to be extinct no? Then again...who was she questioning...she was a member of a species where only twelve could exist...maybe the extinct weren’t so extinct after all? How...intriguing indeed...such information could be useful indeed. Was this possibly another story that could come to use? A continuation of another saga maybe to come. How was the story to progress further? She could only seek to find.
As she came to drop out of the atmosphere, she spotted the saiyan soldier immediately first off, a friend...if one could call it that. In fact, during their nightly meeting, she supposed she had forgotten to mention that fact, of not exactly needing air. “Rutaba! I trust you spotted this as well. I was meditating in the skies above when this flew down past me.” She would speak towards her friend, her eyes gazing towards the dragon, not being able to assess any major physical harm to the large beast. Even if there was...she didn’t know any healing techniques of her own. “I wonder...what is a dragon even doing here? They are supposed to be near extinction...YOU boy, stop that, trying to feed a giant reptilian like this like that? A good way to get your arm bitten off.” She would send in a harsh tone towards the boy near the end. This creature was still quite unknown in its goal, and frankly the safer the better. “Rutaba, remember that trick I showed you the other night? My telepathy? I could try to awaken the mind of the creature directly.” The albino anubian would speak as she began her focus to the dragon, her eyes keeping a hold on them as she attempted to enter their mindscape, a small conversation to try and awaken such a large beast by neural stimulation. ‘Dragon can you hear me? We have found you crashed on Sadal, and I am trying to speak with you by my own means. If you can wake up...please try, and please try not to eat the child infront of you.’ Her message would be. Something that was quite sweet and simple, but to the point.
The Dragon's eyes had long since closed, her consciousness having slipped away from her so easily after the impact of her crash on the planet's surface. She'd never had to endure a hit so forceful, even when training with her mother. Nothing had compared to the feeling, which thankfully she now couldn't feel. She was breathing rather heavily, one of her massive talons brought up against the right side of her face. Her tail was sprawled out behind her with it's spike dug into the ground.
It didn't seem like anything would wake her, not the sweet smell of cake brought to her mouth or the comforting pats atop the female Dragon's head. She was blissfully unaware of everything going on around her. That was until a voice pushed itself into her head, stimulating her mind to become active once more. Slowly but surely the pain that plagued her body returned to her and it caused her to growl lowly. She would slowly move her hind legs up closer to her body as if curling into herself. Before she even opened her eyes, Nakeeya tried to push herself up onto all fours only to fall back into her crater once more.
Slowly she would finally open her bright emerald eyes... the first thing she saw was a humanoid creature with pointed ears, some kind of sweet smelling substance held in his hands almost as if an offering. She then shifted her gaze towards Rutaba, another humanoid creature that was way too close to her and finally, a race she couldn't even identify... a creature with white fur standing on two legs.
'odd...Sadal?' She thought to herself about the three of them, her mind only slowly starting to put things together. She seemed rather calm at first until her mind started to think of the worst case scenarios. Where was she? Where were Taion and Twitch!? Who were these people and why were they so close!? She tried once more to push herself up to her feet, this time managing to bring herself up onto all fours before there was an audible *Crunch* that made the Dragon stumble backwards until she lifted her left back leg off of the ground, drawing her wings out to either side of herself to keep her balance.
<W...who are you? Don't you dare come near me..!> She reacted defensively, taking a few hobbled steps away from the three that had gathered around her. She didn't react offensively at all, instead she sounded more scared of the smaller creatures. She'd never encountered others that weren't of her kind beyond Taion and Twitch, and from the stories her clan had told her there were many... unfriendly species in the galaxy.
A yet to be eaten scrumptious cake in his hands, Bael would hope the dragon in front of him would take a bite even if the smallest bite. The dragon was truly majestic, Bael would have no clue if his outer space visitor was a female or a male but he'd just take a wild guess and go with female. A mere few seconds proceeding his arrival, an Anubian, and a Saiyan would show up. First would be the Saiyan, he was an older Saiyan and looked to be one of those very righteous, chivalrous type Saiyans. The Saiyan who had come over to the dragon's aid would place his hand on its head and would inform Bael that a cake would not be what the dragon needed to wake up. Yet, in spite of what the Saiyan man would say, Bael would continue to try and entice the dragon with the aroma of a sweet freshly baked cake.
Upon his landing on the scene of the crash, the Anubis would make an effort to warn Bael of the dangers of trying to feed a dragon, especially one that had just crashed into the planet randomly. Bael took no advice the Anubis would lend as he was sure if the dragon was of any threat that she would have already bit off his hand.
Ah~! It's completely fine! Aye! Want a cake? Last offer~! The demon boy would say to the dragon, wishing she'd take the cake already and maybe become his friend in exchange.
So! Who are you guys? You just came to check out who had landed huh? Bael would ask in a friendly tone, smiling only faintly as he'd look at the two who had arrived then looking at the dragon who had gotten scared. Demon Bael would take it that the dragon was frightful of the three of them so he'd take a step back with his cake still in the clutches of his hand and extend it outward as he'd grin happily. We aren't bad, we just came here to see who landed! Ahaha! So, let's have a picnic and talk about why you came here!? The demon known as Bael told the three as he'd whip out a fairly large blanket from his bag of goodies and begin to set up a picnic just between the four of them.
Hee~! Hee~! Don't be afraid, I mean no harm! Plunking his behind onto the picnic blanket laid out on the floor, Bael would open up a bag of cookies and sweets and proceed to eat.
It seemed that one more would be joining the presence of the three there, one that he would recognize from a previous night. "Why, hello there!" he would call out to Rosé with a bit of a smile. It helped to have at least someone there that wasn't entirely new, though he felt he could take care of himself should push come to shove. But sometimes a gut feeling like that just doesn't work out, so a backup plan is always nice. He'd listen to what else the white jackal had to say before just nodding. "Yeah, I felt it come into the atmosphere. Every part of me said that I had to come check it out, both out of a desire to make sure they were okay and well... you know how invasions go." he'd nervously chuckle a bit at the last thing he said, he always had to worry about people coming around ready to start problems. He was horribly unprepared for someone as powerful as Onato, but he knew he'd fight to the death if he had to, to protect his home.
"Near extinction though, huh? That is quite a shame... it look's quite majestic. But yeah I see where you are coming from... that sounds like the most effective way of waking this Dragon up for now." he'd reply to Rosé about their telepathy, it sounded like a good way to deal with this, as patting the dragon awake wasn't getting him anywhere. He would then look to the eccentric young man also nearby who was so adamant about giving his cake to this Dragon. "Uh, well... I am a Peacekeeper for the Sadal Defense Force. It's sort of my duty to check on stuff like this. A random power signature entering orbit and crashing is certainly not something for me to ignore. Whether it is to help the person who crashed or to stop them from causing harm, depending on their intentions..." he would reply as best as he could to his question, and then just looked at the Dragon as it began to get up.
At first, it seemed so calm, that the Peacekeeper would let out a soft sigh of relief. However, all of that was short lived as the dragon seemed to have all of its senses back. It certainly wasn't happy, but it wasn't like it was on the attack either. If anything, it was just protecting it's very own life, and the Saiyan couldn't fault it for that. He would jump back a bit, distancing himself from the Dragon as he would just hold his hand up, not in a gesture of attack but rather a calm down. "I'm just a member of the Sadal Defense Force here to protect... don't worry. And if you need proof, here." he would reach into his uniform, pulling out his identification and then tossing it to below the dragon so that she may read it without even getting close to Rutaba in the first place. "You'll be safe here... so don't worry. I just responded to you crashing. Don't strain yourself too much though, that crash must have done a number on you... maybe you should relax?" he questioned softly, he was trying his best not to be pushy, but he didn't want the Dragon to feel any sort of hostility from the group. And for the most part, even if it was a roundabout way, the other young man was acting with no hostility at all. It seemed that everything was going smoothly enough, even if a Picnic seemed a little excessive for such a situation.
Something with this whole situation just didn’t feel right with her, whether it was by the abundance of people? The strangeness of everything, or maybe even the idea of being forced out of the head of the one who had been in pain, a defensive reaction none the less, but for that moment she had been inside, she had hurt, her own legs had felt like it had hurt despite nothing having been wrong with herself physically. Fear? Maybe, but there wasn’t any for sure way to know. That pain however, that was what worried her. The fact that the young one was barely listening was nothing more than burdensome. That was even putting it lightly to say. ‘Why was this pain I had felt, not physical, but mental? Perhaps there is more to this then we can see with our own eyes…’ Rosé would keep her thoughts towards herself, trying to find what kind of reasoning was leading to this. It was then that she had heard the crunch, making her very own ears twitch from the sound of it.
Now by no means did it sound like that was something enjoyable to hear, but when she looked to the others, from their reactions it had seemed like to her that maybe they hadn’t heard it. She supposed there was finally a benefit to her more sensitive ears, one perk of having such large ones she supposed. Even then, once the dragon began to take some hobbled steps backwards, she knew it had to be serious to be affecting her walking so badly. Yet even then the boy tried to set up a bloody picnic of all things. A picnic was not going to help what she feared. The boy was already beginning to seem far out of reason..so? She had only one other there to try and describe the situation to. ‘Rutaba, can you hear me? We don’t have time here for a picnic, I don’t know for certain if you heard it or not, but my ears heard a rather strained crack come from her leftern back leg. The way she’s hobbling on it as well makes me worry that the bone might be fractured. Preferably we need to get her to a doctor so that we can set the bone in place. I can try my best to calm her if you can get someone on the line, preferably hastily. That was a nasty crash after all, it wouldn’t suprise me if anyone would get injuries from such.’ Her message would be sent privately to Rutaba. It was quite preferable after all if they could keep the news down after all. Frankly not to cause the beast to worry even more over more strangers.
Her thoughts were quick to move however to the child however, a short introduction at that. ‘I am simply a lone traveler throughout the stars, my meditation was broken by the cries of this one.’ She would leave, simple, sweet, and yet mysterious. No point in unnecessary information after all when others were hurt. Maybe that was why she had saved using her voice while the beast had awoken? So hopefully her words would have more of an impact than realized. Words, after all, held power, and in their own beautiful unique way, they were the dancers upon the stage set for each rhythm and tone to have its own precise moment for a masterpiece to be formed.
So short and simple she would slowly approach the creature, quite contrary to those around her and speak softly to her, the same voice that had awoken the beast mentally. “Your hurt, please...lie down, I only want to help. I’m just...a friend.” She would ask and yet instruct of the Dragoness, her own respect for the creature still existent, however the expression on her face? She truly did care.
Nakeeya continued to eye them all suspiciously and fearfully, though as she warned them to stay away they did just that. Two of them took a step back, assuring her that they weren't there to hurt her. The little Demon boy even went ahead and set up some sort of offering of the sweet smelling food he had at her mouth moments ago. It did smell tasty, but being so use to the taste of meat she wasn't sure just what sort of food that was, or if it was poisoned. She lowered her head cautiously, taking a whiff of the air and the sweet smelling treat, looking towards Rutaba as he raised his hands and giving a light snort before looking towards the furry creature. She wanted Nakeeya to lie down so that they could help her, and that caused the large dragon to tilt her head curiously.
Maybe she was being overly suspicious? These people seemed very kind and she couldn't sense any malice from their words. She decided to finally listen, lowering her head even further as she lied back down onto the ground, a heavy breath escaping her with the slightest hint of a whine as she shifted herself so that she wasn't putting any pressure on her hind leg.
< You're a peacekeeper? Of this planet? I apologize if I caused a stirr... I didn't mean to come to this planet at all... You're all oddly kind yo me... You aren't afraid?> She asked curiously, her thoughts pushing to all three of the beings gathered around her as she lifted her head back up from her now prone position. She would tuck in her wings so as to not make herself look as large, seeing as she didn't need to look menacing it seemed.
Maybe it had been fate that she fell asleep in the ship and landed here... She could have followed Taion and Twitch on their adventures, but this just seemed to be another path that opened up for her. This creature, the peacekeeper... his title interested her. In her old legends, all of the dragon riders of her clan had been peacekeepers as well... perhaps this could lead to her reviving that old legend?
Bael's previous birthdays were always spent alone, or at least the ones as of late. The caring demon, Bael, was always discriminated against by most others due to his demon blood which resulted in him not being able to find or make too many friends. So upon being abandoned, Bael always celebrated his birthdays alone. The young lad would always strive to relive those moments of his past but would always fail to do so, it just wasn't the same as it once was. When Bael'd meet non-demon races, they'd always tend to distance themselves and when he'd met demons of his own kind, they'd always tend to shun him for his good nature. Bael felt as though there was nobody out there who he could befriend, truly befriend and enjoy one another's company.
As the boy would land on the scene of the crash, he'd not be sure what to do besides offer some cake. Bael couldn't heal, he couldn't exactly detect if the outer space visitor was evil or good but he saw the visitor as good. It may have been good to be wary and cautious of who this outer space visitor as they may not even have been a visitor but an invader. Yet, Bael would soon learn that the visitor was indeed just that, a visitor. Bael would set up a picnic in hopes he could get some answers out of this dragon on why she had landed here and maybe acquire a friend in the process but after some analysis of the dragon's body language, it would seem that the dragon had hurt her leg. The demon boy again would not know what to exactly do, he couldn't heal but he did know he could get her a doctor and some treatment. However, it would appear as though the other two had arrived had it under control. Taking a look at them and their reactions, he'd take it that they got the clue that she was hurt also.
So~! You guys need to take her to get taken care of, huh? Ah~! Who are you known as, Miss Dragon? It appears you've broken a bone from what I can see from your body language, I'd advise you let these two gentlemen treat it at once! You don't want to stay hurt now, do you? Also, here is a slice of cake as a welcoming gift from me! Welcome to Planet Sadal~! Though it is not my home world it is sure a nice place, don't you think gentlemen? Bael would state as he'd cut the dragon visitor a piece of cake on a plate. The demon youth hoped his dragon friend wouldn't be fretful of the cake but hopes of his always tended to go south so he'd expect his dragon friend to push the platter away. Even if he knew the cake would be pushed away, Bael would picture of it as worth a shot anyways.
Do you two want some pieces too? Ah, by what the way, what are all three of your names? If you don't mind me asking that is! Bael would ask with their names in question as he'd slice another two pieces of cake for the two of them.
Oh! By the way, this cake is safe! Look, I'll have a bite! The youngling would say to them as he'd take a piece out of the cake and scarf it down. Shmee! Bael would exclaim with a mouth filled to the brim with cake.
Hearing Rosé speak into his mind once more, Rutaba would just give a brief nod over to the jackal. He knew that was about the best they could do for now since none of them seemed to be able to heal her in any way. He would immediately turn around, pulling up his comms unit and speaking into it. "Yes, can I get a medical unit prepped? A.... uhm, a dragon crashed onto our planet, they seem to have an injured leg. I think we need to bring it in just in case it is anything serious." he would get off of the line with the medical team and just immediately mess around with something. For him, it was just sending the coordinates to his superiors so they knew where to check for the wreckage at a later date, that spacepod certainly didn't make it.
A moment later, he would look back towards the dragon who seemed to be questioning all of this for now. "Well, for me... I have no reason to be afraid. You aren't hurting anybody, you aren't being hostile. And most importantly you crashed here, it's only in my best interests to make sure you are okay rather than be afraid of you." he'd chuckle softly and rub the back of his head. To be honest, the dragon wasn't exactly intimidating in appearance either, it was sorta cute so it wasn't like he had anything TO be afraid of even if it was hostile. "But don't worry, you did nothing wrong, I didn't come out here because you caused any problems. If anything I was worried about who was crashing, it just turned out to be you. But yes, I am a Peacekeeper of this planet. Sometimes I go out on missions to protect other people but that is only when I am sent out I guess.." the last bit was sort of a sour point for him in two ways. He was stuck on Sadal for quite a while so far and wanted a mission to be sent out elsewhere but at the same time, the last time he did that his entire squad either died or betrayed him.
He would then look down to the Demon, who seemed to be talking quite nicely. It was good to have some cheerful moods in a situation like this as if the dragon was seriously injured they certainly didn't need some downer rolling around. "I shouldn't really be eating cake... least not while on duty. Oh, but my name is Rutaba, it's nice to meet you." he would give a brief and polite bow to the young man. He really seemed to be the cheerful type, not a single break from his cheerful mood and upbeat attitude. He would probably make a good friend or ally, most likely the prior because of how harmless he seemed to be so far.
Finally, the Peacekeeper would smile and take a few steps closer to the dragon with a smile on his face. "Do you think you are well enough to move to another place? I'll gladly help move you, I am quite strong if I say so myself so I am sure I can counterbalance that leg for you. But if you would rather I stay back still I'll gladly just guide you there. Either way, I have a medical team saving a niiiice spot just for you where you will be checked on by a doctor. And don't worry, the people here are quite nice, and I'll make sure to watch over you too if you'd like." he wanted to be as nice as he could be. This dragon didn't even want to come here, after all, so Rutaba didn't exactly expect the dragon to be trusting of everyone they met. But, he hoped that his word would be able to help ease the dragon's mind to go get help with him. And if not, he hoped that the others would join in as well, as the young man had already instructed her to let them help, and Rosé was certainly doing a lot to help as well. He was sure that the three of them together could help the dragon in the end.
Xiuhcoatl could not even fathom what it was that compelled them to visit the planet of the Saiyans. They wanted Tuffles, not Saiyans. Maybe their weirdly in control subconscious had the right idea to some degree, though, seeing as ever species was bound to have their own set of urban legends. Saiyans may even prove to have even more than Tuffles, as they couldn’t really imagine a species of intellectuals would have many fairy tales passing by word of mouth. Or maybe another force was at play here drawing them to Sadal for something more specific than just urban legends that may or may not hold any merit and relevance towards an increase in their fighting prowess.
The thunder beast roamed the snowy wilderness quite a distance from the others, a massive creature covered in black fur with scales, spikes, and carapaces of a strange alloy mix between metal and bone covering the immediately exposed areas that resembled some cross between a mega-fauna version of a bear and a badger, for a lack of better description. Those creatures likely didn’t exist in any form though, so for all anyone was concerned they were just some highly unique apex predator. On all fours, this thing was at least 61 feet 18.6 meters tall. Without a care for treading quietly, Xiuhcoatl’s footfalls shook the area around them. It was quite the inconvenient form to interact with others in, but for being alone in the middle of nowhere it was nice to just be in one’s true form and relaxing that way. If one were to consider scaring the life out of everything that felt lower on the food chain into hiding to be ‘relaxing’.
The walk to the nearest settlement or town of any kind was peaceful until the dragon’s senses picked up on something faint- something important and off in the distance. The distance would be nothing to a creature so large running at full speed, but the dragon had gotten used to thinking in terms of being a 5’3 humanoid and not a 61’ freak of nature, so it did at first prove to be mildly unnerving. The beast gave a great huff and narrowed its red eyes, turning its body and head to face in the general direction of the increasing number of ‘something’s’ they were sensing. One was undoubtedly familiar and seemed to draw out some sort of protective instinct in the usually cold and careless dragon.
Whatever it was, it had to be better than aimlessly wandering, and it didn’t seem like their gut would allow them to let this sit. The great beast braced it’s legs, bending it’s knees and pushing it’s rear end out slightly like a feline creature ready to pounce.. Which it pretty much was. A corrupted energy surged through the Skulblaka’s body in the form of a black and red electricity, mainly to the beasts’ backfur, spine spikes, and legplates. Pushing itself down and then up, throwing it’s front legs out in front of it, Xiuhcoatl shot itself forward into a full on sprint running easily at the same speed as most land vehicles- at least the ones that were cheapish and more available to the public.
It wouldn’t be too excessively long before Xiuhcoatl would be in sight, but they would try their best to use their abilities to conceal their thundering footsteps and large imposing appearance from the senses’ of the group of four. Even if their protective instincts compelled them to jump the gun on this entire situation and act in a hostile manner towards the figures she couldn’t yet completely make out. The main focus of concealing themself went to Nakeeya, once Xiuhcoatl could make them out and determine they were who they had originally sensed on their peaceful little stroll through no man’s land. If they failed in at least making their approach appear much less violent, then it would be quite a sight to see: an angry looking, sixty-one feet tall thunder monster surging with energy coming barreling at them at a minimum of 45 miles per hour or 72 kilometers per hour with an unknown intent but damned if it didn’t look ready to be murderous.
When the distance would soon be closed, the beast came to a skidding halt and began to shrink as an aura of red energy would conceal its massive form. The aura of red would form a spherical shape, appearing to trap Xiuhcoatl with in it. The massive sphere shrank to a size that was barely under the height of the Saiyan present among the four and then reverted back into an aura like state, creating a brief outline around the now humanoid Xiuhcoatl that was quick to vanish. Now rather than a demon royal’s best friend, there was just this small unimposing but mildly irritated looking white-haired girl clad in armor but for some reason, if not for preserving mobility, lacking proper footwear. Could've been worse, she could've been naked after turning into what she was now.. or maybe she really was naked and perception manipulation was just proving way more helpful than normal. No one but her would ever really know.
In comparison to the large dragon Nakeeya was, this girl was absolutely miniscule, definitely a hard contrast from the beast she had been trying to hide. If she’d been successful in her manipulation of the senses, it would’ve seemed more like she had simply snuck up on them rather than storm out of nowhere in an entirely different form before turning back in plain sight. Either way didn’t matter now that she knew who it was that she had been sensing. She narrowed her eyes and looked towards Rutaba, having to look up ever so slightly due to a minor height difference. “You and your company are either far too gentle looking or silly looking to have been the willing cause of her injuries, and she doesn’t look ready to defend her life anyway.. So.” She shrugged and looked back to the large dragon, taking a step closer. She didn’t expect the princess to recognize her as anything other than another Skulblaka, and that would only be if Xiuhcoatl were lucky. And as tempting as it was to treat Nakeeya like the royalty she was supposed to be, she knew it wouldn’t be illogical to assume the young princess was trying to hide that bit about herself from random people that might take advantage of the information.
Her gaze went back to Rutaba and she nodded her head as if confirming something if only to herself. “I would assume she was about to receive help and that you all weren’t just here.. Idly chatting.” Her assumption trailed off along with her gaze that slowly turned to Bael and his strange little mini picnic. Surely there was no harm done, but she still couldn’t help but to find it very weird. Of course, it would be rude to not acknowledge the presence of the the Anubian, if only by looking at her and giving a brief introduction, though the latter was more aimed at the whole group. “I am Xiuhcoatl, I was already on the planet when I caught a whiff of her energy. I could not help but to let my instincts take control and get me here as quickly as possible.” She explained in such a way that would apply to both the people that saw her true approach and those that saw that thundering beast of an apex predator come stomping out of the horizon. It was quite rude, and she was lucky if she hadn’t been attacked on the spot. That would’ve been awkward to get hit head-on by an attack going the speed she had been, it likely would’ve knocked her out with enough force to make her do a front flip onto her back even in her massive dragon form. Here’s hoping, though.
Well, the good news of everything, the dragon at least was going to be safe, that was something to at least be cheerful about. At least the dragoness would be able to get the medical help they were going to need. That...was a relief to be the of the utmost honesty. As much as she felt outside of these others, she did have a sweet side to her heart. As much as she denied it at times. In a way her own work seemed done here, the dragoness would be safe and the two here could keep bringing them there to the safe point. All was safe and in a way calm, she supposed. This was good, very good. Maybe she could ask them even more about their race as well when their time was free. She was quite curious about the species her father had told her was nearly extinct. Frankly even to see one on this planet of all places was quite rare indeed. Maybe she could find more if she had focused her sensing abilities to look for them, but quite frankly that hadn’t been the topmost of her priority. Still, none the less...it was interesting.
“Fear of you? No, I can’t say I’m afraid of you. There are many things in this universe that cause fear in me, for instance even though I can breathe in the vacuum of space, I fear the day if I ever got lost, that I would just be floating forever injured and yet unable to call for help or see friends ever again. You, however, I can tell your kind soul, your aura like the grace of the flowers on the planet Fulusia. Where did you come from if I may ask though? You do not seem to be from around here.” Her own thoughts would engage in her telepathic communication with the dragoness. She knew she was sticking around longer than she intended, but with this friendship? Maybe that wasn’t such an impossible thought after all. Maybe she could stay a bit longer before she left. Even if that demon child seemed obsessed with that cake of his. However a fickle of his tone might have just taken things four steps back. “I don’t desire any cake, my name, however, is Rosé, just Rosé. If you must know however I am not a man as you say. I’m female.” She would say with the slightest of annoyance as the child referred to herself as such.
It was the moment that she felt someone trying to mess with her mind that her eyes gained a sharp glaze to them. Her blood, her anubian blood with its own legendary potential stinging like a fur on the back of a neck. If there was one thing she disliked the most, it was when people tried to mess with her head. When she felt even the rather high power arriving, her gaze turned towards a massive beast, her own mental control pushing to break it out as her blood combined with her own mental control. While she saw the figure of the girl like an afterimage, she saw the creature itself, having broken the beast control of her own perception. Her own hand held out towards the creature flatly in a 90 degree angle, maybe to those who didn’t see what she was would see her holding out energy towards the female, but she didn’t care, she didn’t hold much trust with this stranger currently, and they didn’t quite sound the friendliest, or if anything...here to help. Their tone was ominous if not, uninterested. “You know, I hate it when others try to get in my mind without my permission...I should just blast you here now…” The anubian would speak with a rather mild annoyance. Maybe it would even look strange how she seemed to be aiming her blast only slightly over that of the girl.

Nakeeya would first look down to the little Demon who mentioned her broken leg and also stated that she should have the other two help her by looking at it. The Dragoness huffed lightly, a puff of smoke escaping her nostrils at the thought of getting help. She was an herbalist she should be able to heal it on her own! Although she was never really good at resetting bones... She looked back to her broken leg and tried to shift it up closer to her body, a soft whine escaping her throat as she moved it followed by a sigh as she lay her head down on the ground again, her neck outstretched as she was now more eye leveled with Bael.
< My name? It's uhm... Crimson. > She lied to them, unsure how much they knew about Dragons and if her lineage would cause any problems. She didn't lie to them to hurt them, but instead to protect herself a little bit until she knew she could trust them... She didn't want them to know she was a princess just yet and have that affect how they treated her. She tilted her head gently now as Bael once more offered her the cake and she took another sniff of the sweet smelling treat. She took her time, though when Bael took a bite out of his own piece she figured it would be safe. Lifting her had a little bit once more she would snake her tongue around the cake and pick up the tiny piece from the plate and devour it whole.
It barely left a taste in her mouth at all, the morsel being as small as it was to her, but she would lick her lips none the less... this little Demon looked like it meant a lot to him that she enjoy this thing called cake.
<It's delicious> She would say with a light not, her head then turning to look at the Saiyan man when he explained why he wasn't afraid of her... though before she would address that, she caught him referring to her as it and she would mentally stick his tongue out at him.
'Rude...' She would think to herself as she looked between him and the furry creature known as Rose. Rutaba, Rose and Bael... she made a mental note of their names and faces as she pushed herself back up to her full 10 feet in height. She would stretch out her now tattered wings, seeing if she couldn't use that to balance her leg but to no avail. She gave a light sigh once more as her body began to glow in a bright Crimson light. The light was so intense that it obscured the large dragon from view for just a brief moment. When it finally cleared, the large Dragon was gone, and instead there stood a short girl, standing about 5"4 with short red hair.
She wore a deep red collared shirt with what looked like a while dress that could second as an overcoat over top. She had tan boots that went up to her calves and looked rather elegant in this new attire. The girl hovered above the spot where the Dragon once stood, her emerald eyes gazing at each of them in turn still.
"I very much appreciate your help, Mr Rutaba thank you, though as strong as you are I do weigh about 10,000 lbs. I couldn't use my wings so I can just fly easier in this form if that's alright with you?" She asked politely, offering up a kind smile to Rutaba though quickly snapping her head to look off into the distance. There was a familiar scent in the air, one that was fast approaching them. While she didn't know this person perse, she knew all too well that was the scent of a dragon.
When the man arrived, Nakiya stared at him with a look of surprise on her face. She didn't realize there were other Dragon's that had left the home world! An excited smile spread across her face as she flew towards this stranger with arms wide open with every intent to tackle her, her knee bent backwards to keep her broken leg from being touched.
"Aunty!" She cried out in excitement. Seeing as she didn't know this other Dragon, though she did look older than her Nakeeya made the immediate association as she did consider all dragons her family.

Rutaba would just smile as the girl said her name, Crimson was a nice name, he couldn't help but accept it as that. "Well Crimson, it is nice to meet you..." he would watch as she ate the piece of cake, which seemed like a nice delicacy but honestly he really couldn't partake in such a thing at the moment. As much as he loved food he couldn't gorge himself whenever the opportunity presented itself. So for now, he would abstain himself to just watching as they all interacted, once more he was just content seeing people get along for the most part.
The young man would just continue watching as the Dragon did something miraculous, his eyes staring in awe as that bright flash of light, the deep red perfectly matching the dragon's name. But soon, the Dragon was no more to the Peacekeepers eyes, left in her spot was a girl. It seemed the dragon had a more humanoid form of her own, which made this all a lot more easy in his mind. He would focus on her next words for a moment, thinking of them briefly as the answer was obvious. "Oh, of course, it's alright with me! I was just offering just in case, whatever you are good with, I am just here to help." he'd smile back at the girl after her words, but he would immediately drop to a look of worry as her head snapped to look off. "Is everything alright?" he'd question before looking off in the same direction.
He had no idea what was going on entirely, he'd rub his eyes and stare as yet another figure of light would transform before his very eyes. This one was also feminine in looks, and he would just blink as the figure talked so directly to him. This was all extremely confusing. "E-Excuse me?" he was really taken off guard by this new figure talking to him like this. He would blink at the next bit of words the figure spoke as well, his ears perking up hearing what Rosé was talking about, his eyes shooting towards the white jackal with a bit of a worried look. This was getting out of hand a bit. "Yes, I already contacted a local hospital... we are going to take her there because none of us really know how to apply medical aid. So she is getting help..." he tried to answer the new lady as clearly as possible as his sights were focused on Rosé.
It seemed that Crimson knew this new lady, which eased him off a lot as they seemed to be related in some way. But that was hardly what he wanted to think about as he'd turn and walk over to the Jackal. "Hey, Rosé, is everything alright?" he would look at the arc of the jackal's hand, it was off if she was actually aiming to hit the new girl. "Let's not jump the gun or anything, okay? If these two know each other, we should probably let that person be here... what do you mean try to get into your mind?" he wasn't trying to be against Rosé or anything here, as he was honestly still caught off guard by this whole ordeal. If anything, he was out of the loop of what the Jackal knew as well, so if anything he was searching for answers.
