The God of Destruction sneered under her breath as she had at least gotten Jarvis to participate without too much trouble, unlike what she had anticipated at first. But now, though, what was to come next? Now that they were so close to beginning their next step in this whole journey, her fighters would have needed to actually go ahead and fight for their universe. It was so troublesome, and yet it was something she couldn’t stop it. Quite frustrating, indeed, but it was a frustration she could just barely feel given it was an ‘order’ given by the King of All.
Lagerus frowned ever so slightly, though, at the interactions directed towards her from Cornatto. Whoever this mortal was, he was either dumb or very brave, no matter their last encounter, he was still as friendly as he could get. Well, at least he recognized her position now, that was at least one thing.
On the other hand, Tomina, she really put on herself a lot of weight on her shoulders when she addressed the God. Which she at least recognized as a far better attitude than Corn’s, but whatever, it was no time to look at mortals’ behaviors in times like these.
“By all means, I should have probably erased a few of you much sooner given what you brought to this universe. But we’ll look into mortal levels later when we are done with this. For the moment, focus on doing well in this tournament or I will seriously erase you,” - she said until her expression furrowed at all of Tomina’s questions.
“You have talked with Cornatto, haven’t you? He knows as much as we do. We gods do not look into other universes’ business, not even Whis does. Just be careful and make sure not to break any rules… else the King of All himself will erase you on spot.”
The Anubian, then, proceeded to scratch her face with her paw for a short moment. “Also, one thing, if you wish to bring along a spectator, you may as well. But only one. Meaning, if you mortals have dears you prefer to say goodbye, you better do it before the tournament starts and focus entirely on the fight ahead.”
Then, the God glanced at the male Saiyan with an inquiring gaze.
“Wasting quite some time here with these children, aren’t you, Cornatto? You may want to go back and train, instead of slacking off with this bunch. As for me, I will also depart.”
And it was just as quick as she showed up, that she left, walking away before she could not be seen any longer.

"Honestly Cornatto, you're too lax about everything going on here. You don't even have the slightest trait of hatred for the people who've wronged you. If you show that kind of softness during the tournament, you're going to regret it. Your enemies won't show you any mercy."
Tomina had not missed the annoyed look that Caesar had sent in her direction. Well that was progress she supposed. Although getting on his nerves probably wasn't a good thing in the long term, in the short term it didn't really matter. She would just have to work her ass off to catch up to him. Then it wouldn't matter what he thought of her.
Tomina was surprised to learn that the Gods knew nothing about the other universe. Not even basic things unfortunately. So they were going to go into this blind. Tomina sighed, rubbing the back of her hair with her hand.
"I did talk with him, but I thought he just didn't pay that much attention since he could only tell me basic things about the rules of the tournament. Well if we don't know anything about them, that probably means they don't know anything about us. As long as it's an even playing field we should be able to manage."
When Lagerus mentioned that they could bring along a spectator, three people came to Tomina's mind. Tarro was off doing an important mission though and she didn't want to distract from that. The other two were harder to choose from though. One the one hand, she could possibly get her mother to spectate things. She would be able to show her just how far she had come now. But no, she wasn't the one who she wanted to see the most. Besides, it could cause some issues within the team and create more conflict. So Tomina called out to the God of Destruction and had one last thing to say to her.
"I know who I want to invite, but she is no longer of this world. I want Karin to be my spectator during the tournament. She died during the Alliance Empire war. Since the afterlife exists, it should be possible to have her watch the tournament. I have training of my own to do now, so I bid you are farewell for now."
Tomina flew off the lookout, heading down towards the Earth below. It would be awhile before her training partner showed up. Until then, she was going to work on refining her techniques while waiting for them.
