Awaken your Body! Training in the Depths of Hell! [Liari]

The demon would smile contently to himself as he heard the little cloud roar. Whether or not she was able to do this now, it was at least good that she was putting forth the effort to do all of this now. He saw the fiery determination ignited within her very soul and it made Bernael happy to see it coming from her. But that was not to say that he didn't believe in her, far from it. In fact, he believed she could pull it off with ease at this point. Soon enough as well, her form started to begin to shape itself, the various designs the girl would be thinking up showing themselves one by one as they formed into a larger sentient being. Although this was more about her finally regaining her body, the Demon couldn't help but be a little excited to see what exactly she looked like after all of this.

It didn't take long for the cloud to entirely take on its very own shape, with all of its ki intact now as a ki pillar would charge towards the skies of hell. What was left there was something quite curious, something he didn't have the pleasure to really meet before in his time around, at least to his memory. The halfbreed couldn't help but wonder exactly she was made of, it didn't look like the skin of most races he had met. That was something to ask about or at least inquire later, for now, he just had to be happy for the girl as she finally let her ki die down. He couldn't help but begin to slowly clap as her scream boomed out over the corners of hell, inspiring the boy to just cheer her on a bit even without audibly doing so just yet.

The chuckles, the crying, the words of pure joy that the girl was letting off did everything to warm the Demon's heart as he would ease off clapping till stopping entirely, just smiling at her letting her take the time to marvel at her body all that she wanted. This was her time, he was just happy to see it happen. The Demon supposed that perhaps it was good to leave her alone for now and to have time to herself to get used to her body once more. For but a moment he was ready to turn and leave for a little bit to return later but his action was entirely blocked off as he saw the girl turn her gaze towards him.

"Hmm..?" aside from making that one noise, he didn't exactly know what to say for the time being as he saw her smile soften up so much, her tears making him feel both worried and relieved give or take why she was crying. That all came to a stop for questioning when she launched herself at him as fast as she could, his body almost instinctively got into a combat stance to prepare for a fight until he felt her arms and legs wrap around his neck and waist respectively. The feel of her clinging on to him and hugging him so tightly was foreign and strange to him. Last time he felt the true embrace of another was with his mentor... or possibly Emi. Or perhaps, as much as he regretted to admit such a thing, the warm arms of his Aunt Nakiya wrapping around him as his life fled from his eyes and body to bring him to the Afterlife back when he still trusted her as a good person. He wasn't sure which was truer at this point as all of those memories were far too long ago to tell which was genuine care or not. His body was too used to combat and had almost forgotten the kind affection of a body entangled with another.

All of it caught him too off guard, memories and sensory data pouring into his brain from his body remembering the touch of another outside of a rough fist or heated ki blast. The data that it was transmitting to his mind was almost a form of bliss on his own as his eyes would well up with tears thinking over how long exactly it had been since anyone had shown him genuine holding or care like this. Even though his body was overloaded with all of this sensory data, he couldn't help but slowly wrap his arms around Liari out of whatever instinct remained inside of him when it came to such a thing. He wasn't feeling threatened by the being, but rather, he felt a sense of joy and relief to be able to bring so much joy for one another again. Afterall, this could very well be the last time he got to give someone a sense of joy until the Universe faced a battle for their possible erasure...

"You did it... you really did it."he would slowly move one hand off of her to wipe the tears from his own eyes, realizing that he probably looked pretty weird to be crying himself without explaining why so far. He couldn't pull himself to trying to get her off of him, however, as he couldn't take it away from her if this was how she wanted to be in that instant. He'd give her all of the time she needed to cope with all of this and get used to her body once more. Finally, he would push his ki sense out to feel out for her and get used to how her ki felt. In all honesty, she was quite powerful, to say the least about it all and he couldn't help but set his hand atop her head to pat her for real this time, letting her feel his hand instead of it just passing through her like when she was a cloud.

"How does it feel to have your body back? Anything you could do before, you can do once more for yourself. You are truly free to do as you please." the demon would smile down at her as he continued to pet her a bit, letting go after a short while to give her all the time she needed to let go.

The Demon would continue to smile at her as she lowered herself back down to the ground. He could see her face was brimming with joy and happiness. His mind partially looked pass the fact that she was blushing, as he didn't have any ulterior motives with this aside from making her happy before he had to inevitably leave. They would meet again though, whether it would be in the afterlife once he returned or in the real world he was sure that this wasn't going to be the last time they talked. He would listen to her words happily as his mind focused on each and every word trying to give her the best responses that he could.

"Of course... but you can't just thank me for all of this. You did it all yourself. Perhaps I guided you through it but all of the work and effort was your very own. I couldn't have given this to you myself. But of course, you can ask me for anything you want." he would go silent a bit to give her time to speak, her eyes now clear from the tears that were acting to cloud his ability to see into her eyes as she spoke. Despite that, they would shine further just showing how much joy this was truly giving to the girl after she had been through so much. That was the true reward he was getting out of this, being able to see someone spark with joy.

What she did next was intriguing, however, her pink aura once more flaring up just like it did when she regained her body. It was obvious what she was going to ask at this point as her aura gave off enough of an offensive note to the man even without her getting into a combat stance. This wasn't going to be some fight amongst brutes or anything like that, that much was made clear. A smirk would grow on his face, white ki slowly leaking out from his body and forming an aura around him as well as he let off a bit of power to show he was ready to fight. Of course, she definitely did ask what he expected.

"Well, I said I would train a bit with you. A little fight or spar can't hurt anyone here, right? As long as nobody tries to stop us we should be fine. You'll need all the power you can possibly get to leave this place, so I can try and help you prepare for that." he would get himself into a combat pose of sorts, not powering himself up in any way for now as he was taking this in stride. If anything he would slowly raise his power as they fought so that they would be on more even terms. There was no need to go all out or even far out right outside of the gate. If anything he'd just try and raise himself to match her power so that their spar could be more fun than serious. Bernael would maintain his combat pose for a short period of time, easing into it as he stared Liari down. "We can begin on go..." his eyes would narrow down on the girls form as he made sure to give her proper time to get ready as well.

"Three..." he would speak softly at first, counting out the first number as his hands clenched into fists, his aura flaring up a lot higher. "Two..." his eyes would narrow further as he locked his eyes with Liari's, making sure that she knew that she was to be his opponent now, their fight was truly going to begin. "One..." an eerie sense of silence would fall upon them as he uttered that final number, his voice more serious as he finally let her take one more second to get ready at this point. It was now or never, and he wasn't going to wait further than that. "Go!" suddenly, he would shout the word to mark their go-ahead to begin fighting, the Demon waiting for a second longer after to let her process that word as he would then immediately launch off of his front leg to push himself flying towards her. All he would open with for now was a strong right hook, he hoped that she would be able to block it at least for now.

Like the Demon thought, the girl certainly blocked his punch with a decent amount of ease. It seemed that his punch was just a bit stronger than her defenses which gave him enough of a gauge for what he could do for now. The girl's power level was quite impressive nonetheless, which made the Demon Smirk a bit. She was going to be a good training partner for sure, and he just hoped that he could teach her a little. However, what exactly he punched into made him quite curious. Truly, what was she made out of? Her skin felt so soft and squishy... not like a normal person in that way anyways. It was almost like punching some sort of jello, it was incredibly different than anything he had punched before. "So soft..." he would murmur a bit to himself about it as he sort of lost track of what he was doing. It was such a foreign feeling.

This was to the Demon's detriment, however, as the girl was already leaning into a strike of her own that he was all but missing at this point. His guard was down entirely when questioning what exactly this girl was made of to feel so soft and squishy even on her arms. He instantly regretted this as her strike was aimed true, and strike true it did as well as her foot struck directly into his stomach. Bernael's wind was entirely taken out of him from the hit, as she followed up by kicking his chin sending him flying backward. He would land with a thud in the red dirt below as a cloud of dust would be kicked up around him from his impact.

The kick didn't take too much out of the demon, for the time being, rising to a knee as he would touch his lip. The strike had caused enough tension in his mouth to cause it to bleed internally, the blood flowing from his mouth a bit when he was facing downward. He would smile and slowly wipe the blood from his mouth as he rose to his feet, letting off a chuckle. "That was a nice shot, this will be fun." his smile would grow deeper as he stared at Liari directly. Once more it was just plain fun to fight with another like this, no risks or anything involved, just fun.

Bernael would smirk as he started to pull his hands back, charging up his ki into the palms of his hands as he would fire the blasts all directly at Liari. The volley would all head directly to her location, and none of the blasts were very special. Each one flew only to hit there mark, what she would do to stop them from hitting their mark was honestly up to her. The fight between the two was in full swing now, and the demon was quite excited to see where it would go. He would go easy on her for now, he wanted her to have a fun fight where she felt like she could do stuff.

The Demon would snicker a bit at what the Majin said, as it came off as a sort of challenge to him in his head. She was going to be fun to fight but honestly, his body wouldn't be able to take massive hits like what he just had taken for long. Sure, he was far better trained in basic combat but raw power could overcome his strengths once they got into more serious combat. And sure enough things were getting serious, he could tell the moment that the Majin's face turned into a frown that showed how much more serious and focused she was on the situation. This was going to be an all-out battle for sure.

Bernael would just watch for now as he saw her deflecting and blocking the blasts that were actually going to hit her. She was doing a good job and while he expected her to be dodging the attacks rather than blocking them, the outcome was more or less the same. That was until something horrible happened. The Demon's look of calm intrigue as he saw her block attacks twisted into a bit of horror as he saw one of his blasts rip right through her head. Her right eye and part of her head were entirely taken with the blast as it exploded. He... didn't use that much power did he? Did he overestimate the girl's durability?! His look was just filled with fear as he worried that he was literally about to erase the poor girl if this was about to kill her. His hand twitched a bit as another blasted right through her stomach and left a hole in her gut. He was really going to kill her wasn't he... all due to miscalculation.

He was entirely frozen as he saw the dust cloud linger in the air around where the girl stood. The motionless state of the cloud made his hand twitch a bit more as he was unsure how to really react to all of this. The dust began to clear shortly after to reveal her disfigured form, a lot of different parts of her body being entirely destroyed by this act it seemed as massive holes were blasted straight through her body, one of her arms burned off and what seemed to be an entirely destroyed lower leg as it slumped over onto the dirt like her foot was gone. This was... quite the horrific sight indeed. The demon's hands kept twitching at the sight of the girl as she glared towards him in an obvious form of suffering, her fangs showing themselves as she started to quake. The Demon was sure that he went and killed her, as he would slowly begin to move forward, the ground below him being broken apart as her foot came flying from beneath.

"What?!" was all he could mumble as he instinctively raised his arms to guard against the attack. The attack was far too strong for him to just block, however, as he would take a good chunk of the damage from the powerful kick, making him fly upwards and spin around in the air, stabilizing himself with his own flight as he would ignite himself in his white hazy aura. He would narrow his eyes as the girl's body was entirely repaired from all of the damage that he had physically caused her that he could see. Her single word as well making him narrow his eyes more. "What a clever girl. You knew I'd feel horrible if I had gone and killed you. But you've certainly proven yourself, I will take it up to the next level and let you experience this." he would speak slowly and softly to the girl as he hovered in the air, his power doubling on top of itself suddenly as his normally white aura turned a deep purple.
"I'll fight you like this now, you've earned it." he would smirk as he felt his corrupted demonic energy flow through his veins. He preferred to unleash the true potential of his base form rather than this, but his full power was a bit much for the girl. Even further, any form stronger than his true potential would be far too much for the girl, the fight would be far too unfair. He would try to keep up with her like this for now. Without another would he would just hold his hand out towards the girl, making a beckoning motion with his hand almost as if he was telling her to bring it.

The Demon Hybrid would keep himself hovering in the air, staring down at his opponent as he would watch her movements, the changes to her face made a bit of his more corrupted blood boil with enticement. He was one to push away from more carnal desires as of late but he couldn't help but think more about them with demon power flowing through his veins more than his normal power. Her mouth wide open with that blush across her face sort of sealed the idea that she was one to respect power. Or perhaps it was just his words that got to her. That thought was shot down very quickly however as she began to grin up at him.

The girl's own aura flaring up as well let the Demon know that she was getting more serious now as well. Liari's growling from below him just sealed it more as her aura flared up even further, and... steam? He wasn't sure why exactly her body was letting off so much steam but it sounded like some sort of steam-powered trained was letting off its whistle. Furthermore, her power shifted upwards as electricity sparked around her as her body grew even! Was this her true power? It was certainly quite impressive, but her appearance changed as well showing that this wasn't just a higher power of the same form, there was more to it. "Impressive, if you keep surprising me I'll do my best to show you even more of my true power. I'll make sure you keep that pretty body of yours intact for REAL though, I wouldn't want you to lose it just after getting it back." the demon would smirk down at the girl even more as she started to go on her assault once more.

Liari's arms would shoot up towards him, it really did seem that she had an elastic body of some sort with how far her limbs stretched. From her leg going under the earth and over to him from beneath, to her arms stretching up to grab at his throat almost like she was made out of playdough or something. Though something to note for the demon was that she was slower than before, or maybe it was just that his body was that must faster to take note of such a difference. He would let himself get grabbed, for now, letting the girl swing him around and whip him down into the red ground of hell, driving the demon into a hole a bit as he would stare towards her, wincing as he felt the pain set in. She was certainly stronger... he would have to get more serious now that she powered up. Once the pain had come and gone through him, he would chuckle as black smoke would begin to pour out of his back, his sclera turning a deep black as he would point his hand towards the girl.

Bernael's purple aura would slowly start to spiral into the palm of his hand, his aura entirely disappearing as it would spin in his hand into a purple orb of pure energy in his hand. Without another word, the Demon would fire the orb towards Liari. The plumes of smoke shooting out of his back would disappear and his sclera would also turn back to their normal white appearance as this happened, the Orb continuing on its path towards Liari in hopes of hitting her head on. The Demon was just getting started now, he just had to hope that the girl would show him enough surprises to make him show her his next form of power, although he would hold back a bit for her as well if he did. Anything passed what he was putting out was sort of unnecessary in its full potential.

It appeared that the girl would be moving to block his attacks once again. This was far more powerful than the last attacks he had been giving her, however, as it was both mixed with his stronger form and output a lot more of his power... if the girl planned to just block the attack she was in for a harsh surprise. The attack would nonetheless strike at its opponent, crashing into her like a cannonball against a fort that would kick up dust as well as the area around it. He had seen her body be picked apart for much less, but he knew that she wasn't going to just die from losing bits of her body now. He had to hold back on attacking her all out though, he didn't want to end up annihilating her body since it at least seemed to be able to stitch itself back together.

He would just cross his arms as he waited for the dust to finish clearing, his eyes widening a bit before he would let off a toothy grin. She put up a barrier! It completely nullified his attack but he was happier that she was able to do that than anything else. He would begin to clap a bit as he would set himself on level ground and walked closer towards her. Any trace of malicious intent gone as he would close his eyes, his eyes completely normal once they had opened up once more. "You really are quite powerful, it makes me happy that I can spar with someone like yourself. I am sorry if I get a bit more... aggressive, in this form. I take pride in being more civil and caring in my base form but the more power I output the more my demonic energies push to the forefront. I wish to change that someday... but, my next form of power that I will show you is much stronger than this but more relaxed... I'll let you play with this some more, however." he would give a few seconds to pause as he saw the girl's chest rise and fall, she seemed to have gotten scared of that attack he let off but he wouldn't use such a thing again for a while, at least not without proper reason to.

Finally, the time for relaxing and talking was far from over, and he would close the gap between the two of them once more, aiming to punch the girl in the stomach. The demon wasn't aiming to do much more than wind her for now, standing there whether or not his attack went through as he was ready to continue the fight once more.
