Personality:
In her former life, she had came off as a laxed individual, according to friends, which couldn’t have been far from the truth. All of the trouble that could pop up on earth, had her wanting to brace for the worst, but there was no paranoia that kept her from smiling. People with power and their inhuman abilities, were the least of her troubles. They were more tiring than anything compared to what could pop up in college. Though it was apart of what was supposed to be normal.
She didn’t like that, but there was so many things in the world she didn’t like, that she just had to put up with. Just like everyone else in the world. She was just vocal about it in ways that had her praying and wishing that things would change. That had came true when she became a Wendigo, but not at all in the way she had pictured to be. Her mind was broken. Fractured. All she could think about was the taste flesh, and the hunger pains that would come without it.
She had to communicate slowly, while resisting her urges and how much easier things were, to push away most beings. To hunt them as prey, instead of the victims they really were. The occasional flashes of memory on what she had been like, tended to pop up in her mind, and as someone had always hoped for something better, it had only encouraged her instincts instead of restrain them. She was a monster now, and there wasn’t ever any way to go back.
Likes/Dislikes:
When she had still been human, the taste of coffee had been her fix, along with thoughts of going to her apartment relaxing in practically nothing. But becoming a Wendigo had introduced a love of flesh and fighting, if only because her mind and body believed the hunger pains would stop. That she could be given rest from what was so clearly a curse by someone who was cruel and unjust.
What had previously also been just college papers and bills to dislike, became the number of minutes she hadn’t fed her curse, and the kind of hunger pains that came with it. How much the part of her that could think, missed being able to just focus on anything other than her own survival and the lack of paranoia she’d die, even though it’d likely be pointless to even try.
Aspirations:
Survival is the only real thing she has in her existence now. The thought of death fills her with more dread than she had previously ever believed, even if logic says she’d likely be at peace. Beings like her weren’t meant to live so long, but what else could they do but follow instincts and survive?
Homeworld: Earth
Allegiance: Herself
Starting Planet: Free Space

Former Appearance
Back when she had been human, her beanie was something she had nearly always wore, paired along with tank tops which had sides low enough to expose what else she had underneath it, and jeans. Rebellious, hipster, or chic, she had heard all kind of different descriptions of what her wardrobe was. But in the end, they were nothing more than what a lone college student could afford and comfortably wear, without being too loose or tight around the ankles.
It was always hard to tell whether or not she’d need to run. But by the time she had become a Wendigo, what had been a relatively healthy girl, was replaced by a much thinner body, to where her skin’s fat failed to cover bone. Things had only gotten worse, as the transformation had taken over, and practically declined whatever health was left of her body. She lost all of her hair, body had grew much lankier, and monstrous protrusions had grown from her body.
She had become much more inhuman, not a single physical resemblance of who she was, left. Tattered clothing had remained behind and continued to cling, partially hiding away what was just skin and bone now. Her identity was gone, and no one but that girl who started all this, would know or care.
Backstory:
She wasn't anyone special, but that might have been the problem.
People like her, who could do nothing but watch and hide as earth was visited by stronger powers, could easily be just forgotten about. They didn't matter, and no one would have cared if they had gone missing. She had only been a college student, barely in her second year, when those on earth were ordered to evacuate because of some tree. The power coming from that thing, and the people who were there, was practically impossible to ignore. But what could she do?
She was human, and nothing more than that. Lost at the genetic lottery, not being like one of the hybrids on the planet. Attacks on the planet always seemed like they would screw all life over, and she had been through enough, to know it didn't exactly mean the end of things. Though that still didn't mean she wouldn't run, like anyone else. Her home of North was being attacked, and word going around said that South had the same kind of issue too.
West and East were supposed to be the safe ones. She took her chance with the former, since the place had always been successful, and the bunkers there were likely to be better than any of the other cities. Going there by car as quick as she could, while others were going into space pods and off the planet, she was forcibly stopped by some brunette with a hall monitor tag, who stood in the street and in her way, halfway towards West City. The pale skin and the power this girl had, already said she was more than human. The unexpected thing though, was how friendly the girl was, and being picked up like some doll.
Her car was left behind her, and within minutes, she was tossed into some kind of space pod. The thing must have cost way more than she could have ever made, and before she could even do any protesting, the girl had entered in some coordinates, then closed the ship. She was supposed to land on Bris, she had been told. Whatever the heck, that was. The girl had left in another blink of an eye, while this ship of hers had forcibly flew off into space.
It was an extremely bad idea to even try stopping this thing, but she knew she didn't have the kind of power to break it or anything either. Her fists had hit against the cushion walls until her hands had really hurt and tired out, with only her beanie and this machine, going on to keep her warm.
She couldn't remember when she had arrived on the planet, but she knew it hadn't been the right one. The presence here had felt nothing like an earthling, or even one of those hybrids. It was stronger, and the stupid ship had told her itself, it was some kind of unnamed planet, instead of what Bris was.
The machine had powered down, revealing it had been one of those one use pods, leaving her alone on this planet of ice and snow. It was freezing here, and it was only the presences she had felt, that gave her any hope there could have been help at all. She might not have been strong, but she wasn't defenseless either. That one guy, who wrote a book all about ki, had practically gave some people like her, the chance to somewhat try being strong in some way.
But there were responsibilities that just couldn't be dropped, to even try being like these guys. She had lived on her own, and wasn't like the kids who could get away with that kind of thing. So what she had wasn't much, but it was at least something. Heading towards one of the presences, led towards the worst mistake she had ever made. The thing she had found wasn't human at all, and there was no mistaking just what exactly it was either.
Who on earth hadn't heard what a Wendigo was? But to think they would even exist in the first place, and that there was a planet full of them, was an entirely different thing from just hearing stories. The creature had spotted her, and she had fired back, making it scatter away. She knew it wasn’t anything that would last, and ran again, away from the presences around. The cold continued to pelt at her, as she tried to focus on much smaller presences.
Whether or not lore for Wendigos differed in space, she knew that they needed to eat to live, which meant there must have been some game around that were allowed to live, if these other stronger presences were also Wendigos. Time had seemed to go by so quickly, trying to survive out here in these conditions, and making use of what animals were on the planet. It was maybe a few hours into this work, did she realize it was that other brunette’s fault.
It was awful to want it, but as she had used the animal’s body heat for warmth, she wondered and hoped the girl would mistakenly send someone else from earth here. Though no one else had came onto the planet for a long while. She wasn't sure exactly of how long. Days? Weeks? This planet was nothing but snow and ice, making her doubt that morning and night here, was the same as it had been on earth. All she knew was, she had to carefully keep moving.
But there was only so much she could do. The fur and guts of these animals were meant just for these creatures. To take that away from them, there was only so many days she could have tried keeping herself alive, before they would come after her too. But did she really have a choice? The snow could be eaten, but trying to survive on water wasn’t going to last either. Yet time had passed on, and whether it was because she didn’t want to die, or just luck, she stayed alive.
The Wendigos were always shot at, if they even tried coming close to her, and weak as she felt over a number of days, it was still enough. She seen them fight each other, and even kill each other for food, while waiting for the wildlife to repopulate. But there was just desperation there that couldn’t have been ignored, on both her part and theirs. Any limbs she found were eaten, forcibly swallowed down with the snow, like everything else she had in the past.
The day that ‘help’ was supposed to have come, it had been the arrival of another human with another one use spacepod. The Wendigos were dead. The wildlife was dead. She was starving, the stench of her own body mixing in with the ice and snow. Unlike her, this one didn’t know how to fight, and went down so easily. In the end, she had ended up living, but in this fractured mind of hers, and the pit of her stomach eternally starving, she had wondered if it had been worth it.
No one cared that she had been missing, so she just had to herself.
