“Let's see, one hundred..two hundred..” Touma's sale turned out to be a fairly decent one. His wallet was filled thanks to the hungry Saiyans of the city and a grin remained on the young Saiyans lips all the while. To say he was tired wasn't quite enough. After all, he had been in the market for so long...the sun had long since set and the darkening of the sunset had shown its face to the inhabitants of Sadal. It was physically tiring: Bagging items, collecting payment and sending happy Saiyans and visitors off with homegrown vegetables and wheats. It was no wonder, what with his genetics and his occupation, he was fairly toned and muscular. Lots of movement and all.
“Alright,” Touma smiled. Leaning forward and raising himself by the rear, leaning over his Ostrich-Chicken’s head. He somehow felt faster. Even though he very well could have flown over to his home. Somethin about riding home was much more relaxing and genuinely more enjoyable. The sound of his Ostrichicken’s feet tamping along the ground and the satisfying bounce that came with each step was something akin to therapeutic for the Saiyan. It allowed him to really clear his mind, and enjoy the trip that he had taken. The path home was clear, anyway, and free of risk. Besides, had he gotten lost or sidetracked there was little saying he could not just fly home— Ostrichicken in hand. Regardless... something came to mind.
“I haven't named you have I?” He looked down. Touma remembered, he hadn't even dubbed his new friend and ride. Well, friend mostly. “It's probably gonna get really annoying saying 'Ostritch-Chicken’ a bunch. Don'tcha think?” His question was met by an approving cluck. “Oh, so ya do understand me. Neat. Let's see…”

“How abooout...Shū?”

“Then it's decided. Welcome aboard, Shū!”
…
Their exchange was short, but a lot of thinking power went into his mounts name! Touma was content with this, and sat back on Shū's back, now. Holding the prong of the saddle as he and Shū journeyed home. The empty sacks used to sell their wares hanging on the sides of the avian. One on the left, the other on the right. The young adults eyes watching over the passing setting. Shū focused on the path ahead. Though, that wasn't to say the avian companion wasn't thinking his own thoughts. Though, Touma would likely never be able to look into his mind or ever really hear the bird's thoughts, he was quite happy to be partnered with the animal.
“Guess I ought’ figure out what's gotta be done when we get back, huh?” Touma leaned forward again. His long hair bouncing against his back and his eyes somewhat covered by his bangs. “Let's see: Plant some new seeds, water the crops..feed you, of course. Gotta feed the other birdo’s too..wash some dishes..get some training in. Right, okay. A simple night for once.” The Saiyan male's lips curved to a grin before resting at a neutral, though content expression.
“And in ya go,” Touma had long since unmounted his companion. Guiding Shū into his stable and leading him by the reign. Though, the Saiyan had removed it after securing the bird and threw it over his shoulder. Running a calm hand over the bird's head and neck, only to set a great bowl of rice for the avian. “Eat up, Shū. Enjoy, buddy,” Touma said quietly. Turning heel and continuing to feed the rest of his livestock; though, collecting eggs along the way. An exchange of sorts. Upon completion of this task, the young man exited the Ostritch Chicken stables and entered his home. Making a stop at the rice field, as well as the root fields. The slow process of properly seeding the soil with a new set of carrots, burdock, radishes and now tomatoes and varying bell peppers. Alongside these, he planted his usual ensemble of taro and varying roots. Touma then plowing the rice fields and setting the grain to the ground and setting up the small maize field he desired to own. A little starch could go a long way after all. This process had taken him some time..perhaps, about four hours upon arrival of his home.
“Oookay— Done!” The tired youth called. Unlike earlier, the sun was gone and in it's stead the moon had donned itself. “Now, the easy stuff.” He sighed, venturing into his home. Taking care of his used dishes near immediately, and then setting his dinner up. Rice, Namekian-Fish meat and a variety of vegetables he had steamed. A good dinner in short. Now, the only thing to do was bathe and call it a night. Training could take place tomorrow, in the morning...
...or, that's what the average farmer would do. Fortunately, Touma wasn't the average farmer.
The male ate quickly, scarfing his dinner down and wiping his mouth with the back of his forearm. Patting his tummy heartily and, at his own pace, venturing to his bathroom. Bathing quickly, essentially to wash away the sweat of the day and cleanse himself of the dirt and filth he may have accumulated over the course of work. Truth be said, it was very relaxing. The tension in his muscles released, his limbs loosened and his overall being feeling amazing. It was this part of the day that he really loved. It made things even more worthwhile than normal. Training could definitely wait til the early AM. At least then he could do his farm work and then just get to it..for now, his night would end in the hot warmth of his shower. The Saiyan happy as could be.
